Perez is the way in which he seems to “capture” not only the scent of whatever it is he is framing, in a perfume, but the total feeling or complete olfactory experience that created it. I think what Providence Perfume Company’s Charna Ethier set out to create was a modern vintage perfume which emulated the richness of Youth Dew while holding out a bit of the brightness of Divine and if that was the desire Divine Noir succeeds on both of those levels.
