Pierre Negrin created the Reem Acra Eau de Parfum based on memories Ms. Acra had of collecting Lebanese amber in the cedarwood forests as a child. He chose to focus on the warm aspects of the colors and scents inspired by those recollections.

I have been intrigued with Odin as a perfume line for some time. The stark, dark bottles always seem so masculine, that I’m not sure I’m allowed to wear the perfume inside. In the last month, they released the seventh and eighth scents in the line, 08 Seylon, and 09 Posala. Fortunately, I have found that the perfumes are wearable by any gender.
The interesting thing about the new collection of four Tom Ford Private Blends: Cafe Rose, Lys Fume, Ombre de Hyacinth, and Jonquille de Nuit; called the Jardin Noir Collection is that I see it appealing to almost very different experience levels of perfumistas.
I really look forward to finding a new fragrance to go on my “black tie” shelf. The new release from Parfums M. Micallef Style is going to be a new addition to that shelf.
