I don’t feel that nomenclature fully conveys the subtleties of this new Caron release, which will be a fountain fragrance, and will demonstrate the vitality still evident in the timeless House of Caron.
Carner Barcelona Cuirs was the single best new fragrance I hadn’t tried before at Elements Showcase. Sara Carner enlisted perfumer Sonia Constant to create a fragrance, “redolent with nostalgia for a bygone era of artisan ateliers, where pipesmoke filled the air fusing with the scent of finely tanned leather.”
The opening event at NY Elements Concept was a Bloody Mary premiere party for Blood Concept. Owners Antonio Zuddas and Giovanni Castelli want to create not only a fragrance and a true multimedia effort surrounding Blood Concept. If the fragrance is any judge of things the entire effort should be a huge success. We have thirty samples for thirty readers
One of my joys at last week’s NY elements Showcase, was meeting gracious Anne-Laure Marchal, Sales and Marketing Director for Caron and test Richard Fraysse’s 2011 launch of its first fruity floral urn scent, L’Accord Code 119.There is a mystery to the name. Could it be Alès Group, 119 Rue Salvador Allende?
Acqua di Parma has since 2004 in its Le Nobili collection been exploring a single flower and attempting to uncover the nobility of each. Iris Nobile and Magnolia Nobile have been excellent examples of this style of fragrance. . Now we have a new fragrance in the La Nobili collection, Gelsomino Nobile.
