I sighed as I looked at the sample of Molinard Habanita L’Esprit, it was labeled as an oriental with flowers and so I expected a lighter brighter version of Habanita. My question before sniffing it was “Do I want that?”
Estee Lauder has released its first truly new scent since 2008’s Sensuous with its first major worldwide launch in the past ten years, Modern Muse.
This happens every year. I get to mid-August and I realize I can’t write about all of the fragrances I think are worth writing about. As a compromise here are ten new fragrances that I like quite a bit that just never made it to the top of the priority list.
While we patiently pant for the next fragrance from Dita von Teese, I thought we could explore my own favorite from Le Maison du von Teese … the knee-buckling eau de parfum, Rouge.
For this recent edition of Elements Showcase which took place August 2013 it was finding the things I was most excited about were not coming from the usual locales and inspirations
