Sana Jardin Air of Aquarius was inspired by the heavenly moment when Pluto returns to Aquarius. What profound timing. Reflecting on this event, I feel Pluto’s influence as the steward of wealth, power and profound transformation woven together with Aquarius’s altruistic spirit. This cosmic fragrance takes me on a heartfelt journey of creative rebellion. Air of Aquarius resonates with me, unveiling its uplifting freshness. It feels like a divine balm aligning with the celestial rhythms, nourishing and purifying my soul and illuminating my heart with joy and an otherworldly meditation.

Pluto entered Aquarius on November 19, 2024, and will remain there until March 2043. It is the first time in 200 years that Pluto has been in Aquarius. Pluto is known as the planet of transformation, rebirth, and intensity. Pluto in Aquarius can bring about a time of renewal, uncover hidden truths, and confidently face challenges. It can also lead to significant relationship shifts, especially for business owners. Pluto in Aquarius can encourage people to examine their bonds and connections and to face their fears.

Sana Jardin Air of Aquarius unfolds with a radiant, shimmering note of lemon, evoking the essence of tranquility and renewal. It dances softly in the spirit, casting a misty, delicate sweetness that resembles the gentle scent of nature’s sweetest citrus, along with the addition of joyful and sunny tangerine. A pristine, soapy essence of petitgrain ties the bright citrus to a bouquet of soft florals, each petal aglow with a buoyant light, symbolizing the fresh clarity of dawn kissed by morning dew, with just a whisper of warmth to awaken the senses. Air of Aquarius surrounds me in profound calm and serenity. It feels as though each inhalation brings a whiff of perfume and a deep, soulful breath of life itself.

The heart blooms as a transparent bouquet, a crystalline jasmine muguet blend radiating a heartfelt beauty that speaks to the soul. At this juncture, the soapiness emerges gracefully, a compliment wrapped in sincerity. Air of Aquarius is an experience that cradles the spirit in a calming comfort, evoking a profound sense of purity and reminding us of the divine presence in the simplest moments.  A delicate hint of lavender resembles honey—a sweetness that nourishes the spirit. Air of Aquarius feels like filtered sunlight, with the golden saturation gently tempered, inviting a tranquil warmness that soothes the heart. As the scent matures, notes of musk and ambroxan emerge, weaving seamlessly into the fragrance. Musk grounds with a gentle, smooth richness, delivering depth without overpowering the florals, while ambroxan adds a creamy, ethereal warmth, grounding the airy florals in a subtle earthiness and adding longevity.

In this cosmic perfumed journey, we connect with the sacred, finding beauty in the intricateness of nature’s artistry. The interplay of citrus, light florals, and deep base notes inspires an awakening, reminding us that even the most straightforward notes hold profound depth and urging us to welcome the light and strength within.

Notes: Lemon Oil, Tangerine Heart, Petitgrain Bigarade Oil, Lavender Oil, Rosemary Oil, Neroli Oil, Jasmine, Muguet, Musk, Ambroxan

Disclosure: The brand kindly sent me a travel size of Air of Aquarius; my opinions are mine.

There was one specific description of Sandi’s – “Air of Aquarius feels like filtered sunlight, with the golden saturation gently tempered, inviting a tranquil warmness that soothes the heart” – that had me drawn in instantly. This sounds so relaxing and soul soothing how could I not be intrigued.

I had no idea about this cosmic event. It’s nice to learn something new and unrelated out of my love for fragrances.

  • Is it just me or is Pluto overstaying its welcome? 19 years it’s a bit much, but when you’re smelling as good as Air Of Aquarius, we don’t mind it. Judging by the notes this can be deemed another fresh fragrance but when you read the backstory, it starts making sense. Lots of changes and a rebirth as Sandi puts as the notes of the fragrance take you from fresh, to clean and ending on a floral/musky territory. Pluto needs these 19 years to
experience its full array of changes and Sana Jardin will help it do just that. I’m located in the USA.

  • Oh I love so many of Sana Jardin’s blends! But I have not tried this one yet. I love a petitgrain with a floral. And I’ve been craving lavender lately which is not something I used to even seek. So this is perfect timing. I am located in the U.S.

  • I was not aware of Pluto in Aquarius. I’m going to check out my star gazer app tonight. I liked that “Air of Aquarius is an experience that cradles the spirit in a calming comfort, evoking a profound sense of purity and reminding us of the divine presence in the simplest moments.” Thanks for another wonderful review and draw. • I have several of the Sana Jardin perfumes in my collection (they have convenient travel size), and I must say, they all seem to give a mood lift or a flit of happiness when I smell. I don’t know if it’s the ingredients, or just a thread that binds the collection together. This one sounds as if it is specifically made to cast its wearer in a glow, and I for one, would love to give it a try! I’m in the USA.

I’m not a follower of astrology nor do I keep up with astrological events. I’m usually aware of major events after they’ve passed. I can appreciate the inspiration behind this fragrance however, and would like to keep that in mind as I’m sniffing this one out. I found this review to be inspiring and am interested in getting a sample of this scent. This is a new to me house and I’m intrigued. I live in Oregon.

  • Sandi’s review makes me think that this is a fresh breeze of zen and tranquility. This makes me look forward to own and experience nature’s artistry in a bottle.

I’m not aware of this cosmic event but it stirred up my curiosity enough to read more about it.
Wishing you peace and balance from California, USA.

  • Sounds like a wonderfully bright airy scent! While I enjoy the reflective nature of astrology I don’t keep track of anything but the lunar cycles. I can only hope this scent helps some of us through the next 200 years of change. Seattle

    Thanks for the nice writeup!

Air of Aquarius presents a bright and refreshing, yet subtly complex, fragrance experience. It opens with a burst of pink peppercorn and cassis which offer both brightness and a bit of a green touch, quickly leading into floral and musk at its core. The use of rose and jasmine is both smooth, bringing a gentle musk together creating something smooth, comforting and all wrapped into a delicious flower explosion that is comforting in its touch, both adding depth to really add something exciting to it. It then also rounds out using musk ambrette which smooths out all areas helping enhance this overall delicious flower mix as the entire perfume matures throughout wear. The subtle salty note further contributes to a fresh feel and is never to prominent here helping elevate to even further and to make this beautiful touch even better. The effect created by these interacting fragrance notes together help generate a feeling that gives both floral aspects of it to really provide something all out to generate feelings overall of quality and overall warmth. It offers something bright, clean and delicate by truly coming together with its delicious scents within and its amazing fragrance make up.

    Cheers from WI, USA

  • Air of Aquarius sounds like a calm aromatic relaxing perfume. One that I can see myself wearing while curled up on the couch reading a good book and trying to not to pay too much attention to the news.

  • Fragrance inspired by astrological movements is a new one for me. I’ve heard of the Age of Aquarius and its reference to a time of change and a new consciousness. The juxtaposition with Pluto seems to make the changes experienced more intense. The scent (in a gorgeous bottle) seems to feature bright soothing notes of nature with its emphasis on citrus, spring florals and musk. MD, USA.

  • I didn’t know Pluto had been in Aquarius before, so you do learn something every day, no lie! I love the images in the review of serene sunlight and the mood of drowsy contemplation. It really sounds like a perfect place to be, as I sit in rainy, cold, gray winter. That kind of dappled sunlight warmth is desperately longed for right now. I live in the US.

  • I wasn’t aware of this cosmic event, so I enjoyed reading about Pluto returning Aquarius, and what that means for followers. The citrus opening of Air of Aquarius sounds sweet and subtle, an easy segue into the floral soapiness that’s welcome in a medley like this. “Air of Aquarius feels like filtered sunlight, with the golden saturation gently tempered, inviting a tranquil warmness that soothes the heart.” Beautiful! The honey-like lavender also sounds lovely.

  • Sana Jardin Air of Aquarius sounds like a perfect reach as spring signals its approach. Not on NY this week, but in the coming weeks when we see the first crocuses pop out, we know the days of beautifully clean fragrances are coming. Sandi’s description of the top notes of citruses that lead to the middle soft bouquet and finally the ambroxan and musk, really moves me too sniff this one. I’m usually wary of ambroxan, but it sounds like it is handled with great care here. I had no idea what Pluto was up to but I always welcome change. I live in NY.

  • I love astrology and this review illuminated to me just how timely this scent is on a cosmic scale. How beautiful! Reading on it seems like the perfect scent to enter spring with on the right foot. Would be delighted to own such a charming bottle too. I live in the USA

  • I’m in the USA and I wasn’t aware of Pluto entering Aquarius. I haven’t really paid much attention to Pluto since it lost it’s planet status. This sounds like a lovely, bright, and uplifting scent which would be a welcome departure from my usual dark and heavy scent collection.

  • I’m very new to astrology. I recently made a new friend who is all about it. She has given me insights into myself and herself through it, and while I’m still dubious, I understand that it holds a place in many people’s hearts and minds. And in regards to this fragrance, and Sandi’s review, it makes perfect sense that a fragrance with an astrological name is a fragrance that is probably light, breezy, but also packed with meaning and intention. So that’s what piques my interest. I was completely unaware of the cosmic event, but this fragrance is now on my radar. London, UK
