It is with great pride that we officially launch our web store, Perfumology.com today. The internet is a powerful tool that can build communities and businesses at lightning speed. Perfumology is one who has benefited from the word of mouth that only the internet can bring. We have thrived thanks to influential fragrance sites, YouTube reviewers, and Instagram influencers. Their dedication to introducing their subscribers to quality perfumes that may be hard to find or unknown to them, is what helped build our family business. Perfumology thanks the online personalities who are emotive in their descriptions, interactive with their subscribers and produce content that are tons of fun to read, watch and ultimately smell. Trust is gained thanks to their informed opinions on wearing fragrances they like. I frequently refer to their videos and websites to learn about perfumes for me and for our shop.

For those of you who love to read about perfume as well as to watch YouTube I know you will love my choice of Sarah McCartney of 4160Tuesdays with CaFleureBon White Queen (which I worked in collaboration to create) and is exclusive in the USA to Perfumology.com. There is a phrase well known to perfumistas “Falling Down the Rabbit Hole” which references the first time you smell a fantastic non-commercial perfume. The original term is from “Alice In Wonderland” and that was the genesis of White Queen. The White Queen as written in “Alice through the Looking Glass”, a book very dear to Sarah, is not your ordinary Queen. She lives her life backwards so as to always know what will happen “the week after next”. Olfactive art imitating literature, White Queen is a scent that is a creamy hazulnut laced comfy blanket one moment and a curling incense smoke rising from The Caterpillar's Hookah the next; both unexpected, and surprising. The jasmine sambac bllooms as it warms on the skin and adds a lush floralcy one moment, and the musk and Sarahs' signature patchouli bring it down to earth the next. At its heart White Queen with ÇaFleureBon is a neo-gourmand for grownups that I imagine Alice would see and reach for… “Drink Me”…“Eat Me” should have been written on the label. Notes: incense, hazelnut, citrus fruits, raspberry, jasmine (the Queen of Flowers), cream, opoponax, vetiver, patchouli, musk.
