Perfumology Launches www.perfumology.com + Fragrance YouTube, Blogger and Influencers Collaboration  Draw

It is with great pride that we officially launch our web store, Perfumology.com today. The internet is a powerful tool that can build communities and businesses at lightning speed. Perfumology is one who has benefited from the word of mouth that only the internet can bring.  We have thrived thanks to influential fragrance sites, YouTube reviewers, and Instagram influencers.  Their dedication to introducing their subscribers to quality perfumes that may be hard to find or unknown to them, is what helped build our family business.  Perfumology thanks the online personalities who are emotive in their descriptions, interactive with their subscribers and produce content that are tons of fun to read, watch and ultimately smell. Trust is gained thanks to their informed opinions on wearing fragrances they like. I frequently refer to their videos and websites to learn about perfumes for me and for our shop.

Top: (L to R) Michelyn Camen Editor-in Chief of CaFleureBon, Steven Gavrielatos (Redolessence), Carlos Powell (Brooklyn Fragrance Lover), Kristin West (Beauty Meow), Roger Holloman (Rajur Real Deep Kool)

Bottom Row: (Lto R) Dave Johnson (Fragrance Bros.), Glenn Davis@MrCologne76), Joe Secu (JoeScentMe), Sebastian Jara (Smelling Great Fragrance Reviews), and Max Forti (MaxForti)

I invited some of my “friends in fragrance” who have helped build Perfumology into one digital room with the launch of www.Perfumology.com and asked them to recommend a fragrance from our new webstore Perfumology.com. In the video you will meet Steven Gavrielatos (Redolessence), Carlos Powell (Brooklyn Fragrance Lover), Kristin West (Beauty Meow), Roger Holloman (Rajur Real Deep Kool), Dave Johnson (Fragrance Bros.), Glenn Davis (@MrCologne76) who is also a contributor to CaFleureBon, Joe Secu (JoeScentMe), Sebastian Jara (Smelling Great Fragrance Reviews and Sr Contributor for CaFleureBon), and Max Forti (MaxForti).  Michelyn Camen, Editor-in Chief of CaFleureBon wrote her review of 4160Tuesdays White Queen with CaFleureBon.

What a privilege it is to be part of the Perfumology.com online web store project and for CaFleureBon to host it. Thank you Nir, we are honored. This video has been four months in the making and our fragrance community has rallied together to bring you our curated choices and to thank Nir for his dedication to fine fragrance.

For those of you who love to read about perfume as well as to watch YouTube I know you will love my choice of Sarah McCartney of 4160Tuesdays with CaFleureBon White Queen (which I worked in collaboration to create) and is exclusive in the USA to Perfumology.com. There is a phrase well known to perfumistas “Falling Down the Rabbit Hole” which references the first time you smell a fantastic non-commercial perfume. The original term is from “Alice In Wonderland” and that was the genesis of White Queen. The White Queen as written in “Alice through the Looking Glass”,  a book very dear to Sarah,  is  not your ordinary Queen. She lives her life backwards so as to always know what will happen “the week after next”. Olfactive art imitating literature, White Queen is a scent that is a creamy hazulnut laced comfy blanket one moment and a  curling incense smoke rising from  The Caterpillar's Hookah the next; both unexpected, and surprising. The jasmine sambac bllooms as it warms on the skin and adds a lush floralcy one moment, and the musk and Sarahs' signature patchouli bring it down to earth the next. At its heart White Queen with ÇaFleureBon is a neo-gourmand for grownups that I imagine Alice would see and reach for… “Drink Me”…“Eat Me” should have been written on the label.  Notes: incense, hazelnut, citrus fruits, raspberry, jasmine (the Queen of Flowers), cream, opoponax, vetiverpatchoulimusk.

I’d love to win and try the following:
    Perfumology Grange
    Tauer L’Air du Desert Marocain
    Olfactive Studio Still Life
    Lubin Korrigan
    4160Tuesdays #MrsGlossMadeMeDoIt
    White Queen

I watch many of these folks on YouTube and enjoy their reviews and learning about new fragrances and shops such as Perfumology. Also, what intrigues me about White Queen is the creamy hazlenut and incense smoke — sounds lovely.

  • Wonderful! Quite a few familiar faces – big fan of Carlos, BeautyMeow, Sebastian and Steven. I would love to win Camel or Tauer L’Air du Desert Marocain! WA

  • I am so very happy for Nir! Great picks across the board too. I’d love to win Lubin Korrigan. (I already own and love Grange and #MrsGlossMadeMeDoIt). Thank you for this.

  • I agree with Carlos Assessment that LADDM is a modern classic and it is a great capture of the desert air. My choice is Boadicea the Victorious Seductive or Tauer LADDM. I am in US.

  • I love this! It’s great hearing everyone’s selection. I am a huge fan of Lubin and feel like they don’t get nearly enough props compared to other houses so I was thrilled to see them featured twice. I would love to win either of the offerings from Lubin, Akkad or Korrigan. I am in the USA.

  • I’ve heard so many nice things about nir Guy and his shop and it’s great to hear how genuinely fond everyone is of him! I’m dying to try Grange, Korrigan, Seduction, and L’air du desert Morocain! Thank you for this draw!

  • I love that new reviewers was able to share there favorites, so people can start looking at there videos.

    1. I would love to win Lubin Akkad, Andy Tauer fragrance. I am in the USA.

    3) Nio by Xerjoff

    Thank you!!

  • I watched this video from start to finish and must say it is amazing to see so many people come together for Nir Guy and his store. I found some fragrances I was familiar with and sold long ago that I dearly miss (Akkad-Rajur Deep KOOL—-Man I love his ENERGY LOL) and Sebastian surely tempted me with Korrigan. A new one I never heard of was introduced in MAX Forti’s video when he mentioned Seductive as a gorgeous mint (up close and personal scent)
So, CONGRATS TO NIR GUY- One of the most easy going and patient people I know. If I had to make a selection for a bottle I would pick either :
    Korrigan
    AKKAD
    Seductive
I am registered and in Niagara Falls, NY.
    THANK you for this draw!

  • Congratulations to Nir for your webstore. I’d love to win the Lubin Akkad, Korrigan, Seductive, or Camel. I also like that so many people combined for one video. Interesting and different, Thanks for the draw. I’m in the USA

  • First off I would like to say Congratulations Nir on the new online store! Wishing you much success to come. What a great way to introduce perfumistas to some of the fragrance lines that you carry. I enjoyed watching the video with a vast array of choices. Each vlogger did a great job. I know that I am going to have to make a visit cross country one day, to experience you and your store in person. My choice has to be White Queen. I am in the US and am registered.

  • Congratulations for the webstore!. I already added a few samples into my cart.
I wish I stilled lived near King of Prussia to be able to visit the store.
Of the perfumes mentioned in the reviews, my favorites are:

Agonist-Black Saphir (have not tried it but it sounds exactly what I like)
LDDM- one of the best perfumes of all times
    Lubin-Akkar

  • Nice idea and new to me having multiple reviewers in one video albeit each review is on the shorter side. Like to see more like this. Love to win the Victorious Seductive, because the mint and iris opening caught my attention. US

  • Just Add Light says:

Haha love the description “neo-gourmand for grown-ups” for White Queen. I know EXACTLY what you mean Michelyn. So happy to see the industry finally contemporizing with online stores that cater specifically to enthusiasts. Quite familiar with Carlos’ and Kristin’s choices, but I’ve never actually smelled the others! The ones that interest me the most are Akkad, Still Life, Korrigan and BTV Seductive. Love the diversity in the collaboration, especially the added visuals in Sebastian’s segment. And as weird as this sounds, I also appreciate the simple wash-out transitions! I know right? Nothing too fancy. We’ll save that for the perfume. NC-USA.

  • Listening to all the videos was so much fun! I would love to win
    Agonist Black Saphir
    Lubin Korrigan
    4160Tuesdays #MrsGlossMadeMeDoIt
Thank you for the chance, Happy Thanksgiving to Everyone!
    I live in the US.

  • That was absolutely amazing! That was just the ultimate collaboration almost all my favorite reviewers in the same video! I loved every review very detailed and interesting. If I had to choose just one I would go for dar saphir by Agonists it just sounds amazing the way joe described it as a dark sexy rose. I am a sucker for rose. I would absolutely love to visit the store and I will if I ever find myself in the area. Keep up the good work and thank you for the draw and making this wonderful collaboration possible. I am in the USA in AZ.

  • Congrats on the new store! This was a great video/collaboration!! l would Love to win Grange or Korrigan!

  • Congratulation!!! Wish you great success!
I enjoyed all videos, but mostly I like short reviews of Sebastian Jara, Carlos of BFL and Steven Redolessence.
Tauer LADDM is real madterpiece. I try Idol from Lubin- great fragrance, now interested in Korrigan.
    I would like to win:
    Tauer L’Air du Desert Marocain
    Lubin Korrigan
    Lubin Akad
    Agonist Dark Saphir
    BTV Seductive.
    USA

  • I have ordered samples from Perfumology several times now and plan to continue doing business there, based on those positive experiences. Nir is one of those rare few in the niche community, talented, creative, and engaging all at the same time. His personal interactions in the fragrance groups and with his customers have earned him friendships and much respect, as evidenced by these videos. Per Max Forti, Nir is truly a gentleman. I wish him continued success with his fragrance house and business. The video compilation contained submissions from reviewers who I am now interested in following, especially Max Forti, and a few others of whom which I was not previously aware, so thank you for that introduction. Robert Herrmann describes White Queen as “the softest white duvet that comforts and coddles”, and so this is the scent I would choose if I should be selected. Especially during the stressful holiday season, a comforting blanket to bring peace among what is often a chaotic time would be appreciated. Second choice would be #MrsGLossMadeMeDoIt as I find this line to be really well done gourmands. As an aside, I am excited for Nir that he will be the US source for 4160 Tuesdays, and I am looking forward to purchasing much more through his website. Best wishes Nir! I live in the US and thank you for this very generous draw.

  • I am so very happy for Nir! My congratulations and good wishes!
All perfumes are interesting choice. It was interesting to listening all reviews. Each of them are great and with unique style. Mostly i like Sebastian Jara’s and Carlos’style.
l would L=love to win L’Air du Desert Marocain, Akkad, Still Life, Korrigan and Boadicea Seductive.
    US, DE

  • Congratulations on the new web store, Nir. All the success to you!

I enjoyed the compilation video. I especially liked that you included Kristin in there among all the gentlemen so that there was a women’s perspective on the video as well getting it from Michelyn’s write up here on CaFleureBon.

I would love to win a bottle of Camel, Korrigan or White Queen.

Again, good luck with the new venture, Nir, and thank you for the draw!

  • This is a very large, wonderful and generous giveaway ! Congrats on your new and exiting store ! I love the website’s clean and polished look !

I loved the video, because of how much joy and passion the fragrance bring to these reviewers. I loved the smiles as well !

I enjoyed the written review’s use of bold text and words to help us visualize or imagine the fragrance or situation !

My Top Two choices would be Lubin Akkad and Boadicea the Victorious Seductive.

Thank you again for your generosity and these wonderful opportunities !

  • doowtnehpets says:

Wow, literally 80% of my YouTube feed is in this collaboration. It’s great to see them giving some love to a great store. So many scents, so little time and so little money. I really wish there’s a store like this near me, I’ll have to settle for the website.

If I were to win, in this order are the ones I’d love…
    Still Life
    L’air du Desert Morocain
    Boadicea the Victorious Seductive
    Lubin Korrigan

  • I wish you much success Nir with your new store! If I was closer, I would definitely love to visit. My two choices would either be L’Air du Desert Marocain or Lubin Akkad. Thanks so much for this generous giveaway!

    I’m in IL, USA

  • Congratulations Nir. Hopefully with this webstore, New England will have a stronger foot hold in the fragrance world. The mini reviews were a nice touch. However, I feel like I must disagree with Carlos with L’Air du Desert Marocain…I don’t get much florals in the mids. Just a dry spicy ambery treat. Thank you for throwing this giveaway. I’d love to receive any of the following:
    1) Perfumology Grange
    2) Camel by Zoologist
    3) Tauer’s l’Air du Desert Marocian
Cheers from Ct & Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

  • prasida.perfume says:

Congratulations Nir! I would select Agonist Dark Saphir. I’ve never heard of Agonist and I’m now curious. It was great to see footage of the Perfumology boutique

  • I’ve been to Perfumology and smelled them all. I even bought Akkad thanks to a previous review by Rajur. If I had to choose one to win it would be Lubin’s Korrigan or Tauer’s LDDM.

It’s cool to see people in the community working together especially Nir as the industry Guy. His in-house offerings are really good too (Clutch > Grange > Blyss and Blyss is still way ahead of what you’d find at your typical fragrance counter.) I appreciate the collaboration and I hope everyone gets their due shine.

    Thanks from Philly, PA

  • These are some of my most favorite reviewers! I love how Sebastian reviews perfumes. He makes you want to buy everything he describes! And Carlos and Steven are such great guys – super honest with their feedback about scents.

If chosen as one of your winners, I’d be happy with either samples of all the fragrances or just one full size perfume. Here are the fragrances I’d be interested in
    Dark Saphir Agonist
02 L’Air du Desert Marocain Tauer Perfume
    Lubin Korrigan

    I live in the USA

  • I enjoyed the short, concise and yet still convincing and passionate reviews from these famous bloggers/vloggers. I think a feature like this would be great for Perfumology’s web platform.
I felt so inspired by all the reviews. I would choose the samples if I were a winner.
I can’t wait to make a trip to the physical store!
    I live in the USA.

  • What a fun video! It was really interesting to see the different styles and visual aesthetic each vlogger has. I have visited perfumology in KOP mall and had a nice experience. Based on these reviews if I win my choice would be one of the Lubims – korrigan or Akkad. I’m in the US

  • Love all the reviews in support of the store! For to meet some new folks that I will look up on YouTube. I would love to win a FB of tauer’s l’air du desert marocain, if not that, i would love samples from that, white queen, still life, camel, Akkad, Grange, Sundrunk, Dark Saphir, and seductive. Good luck with the store, and I look forward to visiting the website. Thank you for the generous draw!

  • Congratulations to perfumology! I loved this video anthology with all the bloggers. I knew of most of them already but there were a few that were new to me. So nice to see everyone’s enthusiasm! I would love to visit at some point but it’s on the other coast my fragrance preferences are (in order)
    Tauer L’Air du Desert Marocain
    Zoologist Camel
    Imaginary Authors Sundrunk
    Lubin Korrigan
    Boadicea the Victorious Seductive

Thanks so much for the draw and best wishes for continues success! I live in the USA.

  • Congrats to Nir Guy on your new online shop. I hope you all the luck in the world, and hope you can continue to grow your brand. I loved the video. Lots of familiar faces for me as I follow a lot of YouTube fragheads. There where a few new faces I’ll have to check out. Also, a great list of perfumes that they have chosen. They review of White Queen was interesting too. I think a Neo-Gourmand for adults really sums it it up well with the list of notes in it. I would love to win the bottle, but I would happily accept the samples. Not sure why people are listing multiple fragrances, but guess I’ll do the same. In order of how interesting I find them.
Tauer L’Air du Desert Marocain (Classic)
    Boadicea the Victorious Seductive
    Agonist Dark Saphir

  • Congrats, Nir! I enjoyed that some of the most respected fragrance youtubers were featured in the video, allowing a diverse collection of scents to be highlighted in detail. Scents mentioned range from bright and clean (Grange) to dark and mysterious (Camel). I especially liked Dave’s segment on Still Life as it 1) brought Olfactive Studio to my attention and 2) Made me aware of soft/hard citrus scents. If chosen, I would like Korrigan as that sounds quite amazing. Thank you for the draw! I am in California.

  • It was so amazing watching some of my favorite YouTube gurus. I especially loved the review of White Queen. I love all the notes mentioned. Definitely caught my attention.

    I’d love to win:
    Perfumology Grange
    Tauer L’Air du Desert Marocain
    Olfactive Studio Still Life

  • Fun video. I agree with Glenn that the website is easy to navigate. Perfumology reached out to me through instagram after a comment I made which really showed customer service. I would love to win White Queen. I’m a fan of 4160 Tuesdays and am excited about them carrying more of that line. Best wishes to Perfumology on their online shop. Usa.

  • Thanks for the video. Looking forward to visiting the store some day – it’s been on my radar since Grange was released and I loved the sample I received. I would love to have a bottle of Grange, and have also had my eye on Akkad. Dark Saphir and Seductive both are now on the test list.
