On Monday February 13th, just in time for Valentine’s Day, the Perfumed Plume Awards™ launches the first in a series of evenings dedicated to fragrance journalism that will include book-readings, writer’s forums, creative writing panels and more. For its first event, acclaimed perfume journalist/author Sarah Colton will entertain and seduce her audience with a selected reading from her new book “Bad Girls Perfume-Tips & Tales.”

"Given the primary reasons women use perfumes and fragrances (seduction, subterfuge, deception, covering up, lying, creating multiple identities, sending coded messages, etc.), at least 95% of women fragrance users are Bad Girls….Not surprisingly, seduction is the central driving force in many Bad Girl schemes, and perfume, that most powerful and invisible suggestion of sexuality, plays a central role.” -Bad Girls Perfume by Sarah Colton
It all takes place at Joya Studio's retail store, gallery, and artisanal fragrance design space founded by Frederick Bouchardy in Brooklyn.
Sit back, enjoy some wine and savories, meet the author, and leave with a scent gifted from Joya.
Bad Boys are welcome.
