Parfums Dusita Oudh Infini, Erawan and La Douceur de Siam Reviews + 3 You Should be Wearing Draw

Pissara Umavajiani of Parfums Dusita

Pissara Umavijani of Parfums Dusita

In 2015, olfactory artist Pissara Umavijani launched her now renowned and much awarded collection Parfums Dusita. Her initial offerings immediately caught the attention and drew praise from several CaFleureBon and she has gone to surprise and delight us ever since.

Tasita

When I first encountered Parfums Dusita in September 2016, I was already familiar with the word “Dusita”(Tusita), the Buddhist conception of the fourth of six realms of existence – the celestial land of pure light and contentment.  I had heard and read that the beings in the Tusita heaven, having transcended the insatiable cravings and attachments of the realm of desire, reside, transformed, in an atmosphere of total blissful satisfaction.

The eight perfumes offered by Parfums Dusita do indeed embody and bring down to earth the feelings of peace, contentment and pleasure that are said to permeate Tusita, each fragrance a universe of its own.

Parfums Dusita Oudh Infini, Erawan (the 2018 Russian Fifi Breakthrough Fragrance of the Year), Fleur de Lalita, Issara, La Douceur de Siam, Le Sillage Blanc, Melodie de L’Amour (winner of the 2017 Arts and Olfaction Award), and the new Splendiris were all inspired by the poetry of the perfumer’s father, Montri Umavijani, one of Thailand’s greatest modern poets. I  love  all of Pissara Umajivani’s perfumes and wear every one of these beauties on a regular basis.   I have chosen the three Parfums Dusita fragrances that best represent, to my nose, Pissara Umavijani’s versatility  as well as the chronological evolution of the house: Parfums Dusita Oudh Infini, La Douceur de Siam and Erawan

Dusita Paris Oudh Infini review

Parfums Dusita Oudh Infini.  Photo by Dusita

2015 – I can’t help but think that the creation of Parfums Dusita Oudh Infini was inspired by Montri Umavijani’s impressions of and adventures in Tehran. Personally I feel that Parfums Dusita Oudh Infini reflects the vibrant life of the markets and bazaars of this ancient city, tucked up against the high Alborz Mountains of Iran. As I enjoy Parfums Dusita Oud Infini I am overtaken by my own memories of the smoky air of the bustling metropolis that I love and the scent of oud (in this case Laotian oud), roses, petrol and something phenolic with just a bit of barnyard and animalic civet.  The sharp edges are rounded and warmed with Tunisian orange blossom, benzoin, Madagascar vanilla and musk.  Like every Dusita creation, Oudh Infini  an extrait lasts for many hours and the sillage is generous and enveloping. Notes: Laotian oud, rose de mai, orange blossom, benzoin, sandalwood, vanilla, musk, civet.

Parfums Dusita la douceur de Siam review

Patricia Malina for Harper’s Bazaar, Indonesia,May, 2010

2017 – With the first breath of Parfums Dusita La Douceur de Siam I open a door into a cool wet, tropical night.  A heavy rain has bruised the blossoms of golden champaca, roses and ylang ylang releasing the vibrant floral perfumes and the green, spicy freshness of the leaves.  The scent of the forest floor swirls though the mist. La Douceur de Siam is exotic, wild and at once sweetly comforting and effervescent. Over time the cool humid air warms to the relaxed and sultry embrace of vanilla, amber and sandalwood.  La Douceur de Siam is a fragrant paradise rich with life and mystery. Notes:  Rose de Mai, Frangipani, champaka, carnation, Ylang Ylang, violet leaf, cinnamon, Thai chalood bark, vanilla absolute, sandalwood Mysore, Amber and Ambergris.

Parfums Dusita Erawan review

Parfums Dusita Erawan.  Photo by Gail Gross ©

2018 – The elephant god Airewan was the Thai deity responsible for bringing healing waters to the earth. As I wear Parfums Dusita Erawan I imagine the sounds and sights of soothing waterfalls and the clarity of still, deep pools.  Parfums Dusita Erawan opens with an energizing, crisp green tonic of petitgrain and clary sage, at once calming and invigorating. The effect of new, wet, energetic, green life gradually evolves into a misty breath of vanillac liatris. I gratefully relax in this perfumed solace for several hours before the scents of cedar and oakmoss reveal yet another fragrant heaven – images of sunlight filtering through a forest canopy. Parfums Dusita Erawan leaves me after twelve peaceful hours, bestowing one last nurturing blessing of ethereal vanilla and transparent musk. Notes:  Paraguayan petitgrain, lily of the valley, Haitian vetiver, hay, clary sage, liatris, cedar, oakmoss and vanilla.

  • Dusita is a houe that has escaped me thus far. These fragrances all sound interesting, and I can see the evolution that Gail has highlighted here. To my nose I think La Douceur de Siam would be pleasant, so I am in for the draw of it. In Canada.

  • I enjoyed the description of the enveloping sillage and persistence of these fragrances, which seem to be qui intriguing. I have heard a lot about Dusita but haven’t tried any of the creations yet. I would love to win the 3 x 7.5 ml set and I live in the USA. Thank you!

  • I loved the choice to describe three very different fragrances illustrating three very different atmospheres: the overwhelming, sweetly harsh air of a metropolis; the sweet and melancholy air of rainbathed flowers and the invigorating, solar dimension of nature at noon. I would love to try La Douceur de Siam, because that one speaks to me the most. It would also be my first Dusita experience. From EU. Thanks!

  • carlos_lager says:

Thank you for the beautifully written overview of this 3 fragrances. I wanted to try some Dusita perfumes for a long time, but didn’t have the chance yet. Heard a lot of good things about the house. It is definitely time! Greetings from Austria EU

  • Oh, how happy I’d be if I won this time! I’ve expressed my admiration for Parfums Dusita on almost all platforms over the last few years: Pissara has a way to transform popular notes into magnificent creations. She, like her father, is a poet.
Gail says La Douceur de Siam is a fragrant paradise, it’s also true for the rest. Each Dusita perfume represents a unique kind of paradise: some are tropical like LDdS or Fleur de Lalita with its wet lilies and hyacinth, some are sylvan like sunlit Issara or green wind of Le Sillage Blanc.

The first bottles I bought were Issara and Melodie de l’Amour, Splendiris came next. I can’t imagine my perfume wardrobe without any of these beauties! I hope I’ll win the travel size set of Oudh Infini, La Douceur de Siam and Erawan to add to my collection.

Thank you and M-lle Umavijani for this incredibly generous draw!
    I live in Russia

  • I heard that Oudh infini has the most beautiful note of May rose and the real sandalwood of Mysore is a fragrance that I dream to wear a day and even if there is a large amount of civet.
Le Sillage blanc is a rewrite of Bandit by Piguet is my favorite green perfume if Erawan is also a green perfume I would like to smell that. Pissara is very talented to create very realistic perfumes. I am in France.

  • Harbinger says:

I loved Gail’s review because I have been interested in Dusita for a while and I love the way she described La Douceur de Siam. I have never tried a Dusita and if I should be so lucky to win I would pick 50 ml Eau de Parfume of La Douceur de Siam. Thank you for this opportunity. USA

  • redwheelbarrow says:

I have not yet tried anything from Dusita and feel that I am missing a lot from this gorgeous review. It also seems obvious that creativity and artistic ability run in the family. These all sounds absolutely exquisite. I really can’t decide which of the three I would most like to try. For that reason, I would love to win the travel size of all three fragrances if I happen to be so lucky. Thank you for this review and the draw. I am in the US.

  • I loved every review. Especially oud infini. I would like to win the travel set or Erawan
    USA

  • Thank you Gail for the reviews! A lovely selection of Dusita perfumes. I particularly like your description of Erawan. Peaceful is the right word to describe it.
My personal favourite is Le Sillage Blanc, since I like green and leather (Bandit). Thank you for the draw! I’d choose the travel size set. I live in EU.

  • These all sound very elegant and extremely wearable. I liked reading about how much Gail enjoyed wearing Erawan. If lucky, La Douceur de Siam, would be my choice because it’s described as “exotic and wild”. Thanks for another fabulous draw! USA

  • Doni Light says:

Didn’t know that Pissara’s father was a poet! Loved the contrasting imagery of a dry dusty market, damp rainforests and a mossy canopy. Brings to mind a couple places I visited in South America. Erawan always was my favourite with that touch of hay that keeps the greenness from becoming too soggy, but there are a few I haven’t tried from Dusita, including Oudh Infiini. I’ve only heard great things. Canada.

  • fazalcheema says:

I was aware Pissara is inspired by the poetry of her father in creating perfumes but I did not know the origins of the name Dusita until this review. I have a bottle of Oudh Infini and it does last a long time. I have not tried La Douceur de Siam or Erawan but I thought Erawan is more likely to remind one of forest. However, Gail’s reviews states both fragrances have been inspired by the nature. My choice is the travel size set of the three fragrances. I am in US

  • The sweet, soft, warm notes incorporated into La Douceur de Siam are making my nose hairs twitch already. Throw in the floral, green, and other exotic notes at the top, and I’ve never heard of a fragrance quite like this before. I would be interested in the 50 ml bottle of this fragrance. (Commenting from FL, USA)

  • I liked that Gail’s choices all evoked different images or places in time or feelings. I have not been fortunate enough to try any perfumes from Parfums Dusita. If I were to win I’d like to win a 50ml of la Douceur de siam. Or Erawan if that is what’s available. Those two interested me the most in the order listed. From CT USA. Thanks.

  • Oh.. I heard a lot of good thing about Parfums Dusita and Pissara, and I always wanted to try at least one among these perfumes. I am not a winner type, but if I would be as lucky to win, my choice is Erawan. Than you for the draw. I live in Europe.

  • smellslikehappiness says:

I love Fleur de Lalita from Dusita, and I would love to try La Douceur de Siam! Exotic and comforting at the same time – How does it get better than that?! Thanks for the draw, live in the US.

  • Elizabeth T. says:

Those samples have beautiful artwork! Erawan has been on my radar, but I was not familiar with the other two – thank you, Gail, for introducing me! They have the most beeeeeeautiful bottles. And thank you Pissara Umavijani and Parfums Dusita for your generosity! I’m in the USA and have not had a chance to try any Parfums Dusita (but I’d love to try Erawan).

  • Dubaiscents says:

I have tried and loved so many of Dusita’s line but, it is Splendiris that I haven’t gotten my hands on a sample of that I think sounds the most amazing because I’m a huge fan of Iris scents. I also really enjoyed the earthiness and damp green of Douceur de Siam and that’s why I would love a bottle of my own. Thank you for the wonderful review, Gail. I am in the US.

  • Thanks for this great review, Gail! I like the variation of your choices, the different facets of Dusita’s perfumery. I love this description of Erawan- ‘effect of new, wet, energetic, green life gradually evolves into a misty breath of vanillac liatris.’ My favorite Dusita would be Melodie de L’Amour. I’d love to win a bottle of Erawan. Thanks for this opportunity. – CA, USA

  • tuiu silver says:

Dusita is one of my favorites niche houses. Gail was pretty accurate with the perfume choices, specially Erawan (which was my favorite by the way).
The way gail described this beautiful crisp green opening, evolving to a vanillic tone, then oakmoss in the base… This is to die for…
I love the combination of green notes, with soft vanila and earthy undertones. It can’t get any better than this.
I would like to join this draw please, and my choice is definitely Erawan.
I’m from Brazil by the way.

  • I enjoyed Gail’s observations regarding what she felt inspired the creation of these fragrances. “The smoky air of the bustling metropolis”, “The scent of the forest floor swirls though the mist”, “The sounds and sights of soothing waterfalls and the clarity of still, deep pools”. I would really like to get tha chance to see if I agree with those observations, so my choice would be for the travel size set of all three fragrances.I have only tried Erawan and I liked it very much.
    I reside in Canada.

  • BostonScentGuy says:

Loved this cross section of dusita! This is an amazing house and I really love the contemporary/vintage sensibility she straddles. These three scents are great choices and show her range from green to sweet to dirty and back again. I enjoyed gail’s own sense memories inflected in the reviews. If I were so fortunate to win this draw, I’d love a bottle of the amazing Erawan. Thank you so much for the draw– I’m in the US.

  • To be perfectly honest, i tried Oudh infini yesterday and don’t like it at all. But I read that many love it, so it’s maybe my skin or my nose, who knows. In any case, because of this review my interest in the house has been re-established, since there’s obviously more to it then just the one fragrance I tested 🙂

Would love to win the Erawan:)

One of my favorite things about this site is learning of new fragrance houses. Dusita is no exception and it appears all of its offerings have excellent reviews. With hopes that it isnt too feminine, i woul love to try La Douceur de Siam. FromUSA. Thank you.

  • NiceVULady says:

What a great review of three very beautiful , but different, fragrances. How interesting that this evolves from her father’s poetry. I don’t have a favorite of Dusita’s perfumes, but I would love to win La Douceur de Siam. I’m always intrigued by the inclusion of carnation in a fragrance. thank you for a most informative review and a generous draw. I’m in the USA.

  • I loved the description of these fragrances and they all sound very exotic. To me the most appealing is Airewan, considering that the elephant god Airewan brings healing waters to the earth. We need more healing waters here… From the Netherlands, Thanks!

  • Dusita perfumes lead to a heaven of heaven of inner happiness and carefree.
I like the review of OUDH INFINI, the chord is wonderful, Oud del Laos, May rose and the orange blossoms of Tunisia, the sensual notes of Mysoree sandalwood and the soft benzoin. It must be an extremely seductive fragrance. Really very beautiful !!!!!!!!!!!! Linda – UE

  • Laurentiu says:

La Douceur de Siam sounds like a total win in my books. Lots of rich, exotic flowers along with sensual woods like sandalwood agains a backdrop of vanilla, indeed a paradise of senses. Do you ever see the notes of a perfume and you tell to yourself “I will totally love this!”? This is what I feel about La Douceur de Siam.

If I were to win I would go for a full bottle of this beautiful creation. I am from EU. Thank you!

  • Great description from Gail. I had the chance to test all the line and the hype is real 🙂 Pure quality. I love the most Oudh Infini, amazing sexy fragrance. Thanks for this wonderful giveaway, i’m in the EU.

  • bigscoundrel says:

Great diversity with Gail’s selection, and it’s wonderful you can see how the house evolved by experiencing them in chronological order. I’m in the USA.

  • aurora_ru says:

I have tryed several Dusita perfumes (Splendiris, Issara, Erawan, Fleur de Lalita) and I can agree that thet are soft, etheral and blisful. “Parfums Dusita Erawan opens with an energizing, crisp green tonic of petitgrain and clary sage, at once calming and invigorating. The effect of new, wet, energetic, green life gradually evolves into a misty breath of vanillac liatris.” This is very precise description of Erawan – composition where dry herbal notes are in such harmonious balance with the misterious airy/watery ones.
I would love to participate in the draw for a bottle of Erawan.
    Thank you for your generousity!!
    Latvia, EU.

  • I enjoyed reading the description of the changes experienced while wearing the Erawan. Seems to be very non-linear. Would love to win the bottle of Erawan in the draw. US

  • I had the opportunity to sniff all Dusita’s fragrances and they are really unique. Thanks to the review I found out that the idea behind “Dusita” is connected with Buddhism. The description of La Douceur de Siam is the most delightful to me and I would love to win a bottle of it. I am from Poland.

  • I love how Gail Gross describes these fragrances. I have no experience with Dusita fragrances, yet, but soon I will 🙂
    (from usa)

  • I really enjoy “florientals” so I am really drawn to La Douceur de Siam. I’ve only ever tried a sample of Fleur De Lalita (which is lovely).
    I live in the US.

  • They all sound gorgeous. But the one this line: “A heavy rain has bruised the blossoms of golden champaca, roses and ylang ylang releasing the vibrant floral perfumes and the green, spicy freshness of the leave” sounds like mine (la douceur de siam). Thank you Dusita and Cafleurebon for this awesome draw. I live in EU. Now I’ll just keep my fingers crossed till the draw 🙂

  • The evocation of place in these perfumes sounds so amazing to me. I would love to smell all of them. So far I have not gotten to try any Dusita fragrances, but this review makes me want to correct that as soon as possible. I live in the United States. Thank you for the draw!

  • ”Oh dear Lord, the descprition of La Douceur de Siam is marvelous, I love floral fragrances and I wish I could win it. Unfortunatelly I did not have an opportunity to know any of Dusita’s perfumes. From Poland.

  • All the Dusita perfumes I’ve tried are to die for pieces of art. I haven’t my favourite yet as I’ve tried it only in perfume shop from tester bottles but almost all are on my wish list. I love Thailand, and in many of them you can smell the many olfactory faces of Thailand. Hard choice, but I would like to win a bottle of Erawan. Thank you for a draw and great review. I live in Poland.

  • drewactor says:

Thanks for the article. I have heard many good things about Parfums Dusita. I love Gail’s choice of Oud Infini. I love oud and have heard many things about this fragrance. Some love it some hate it which makes it sound like one to try. Gil’s choices also highlight how the brand has evolved over the short time they have been around. I would chose the travel set and I am in the USA.

  • I have been longing to try the Dusita line for several years. Winning this draw would finally give me that opportunity! Fingers crossed! I’m in the USA.

  • Lorie McMillin says:

I was lucky to visit Paris and spend a few hours with Pissara so I loved reading this review from Gale. These are extraordinary perfumes. I came home with two favs that day, Melody d’Amour and Issara, as well as samples. So I would Love to win a bottle of Douceur de Siam! I’m in the US! Thanks!!

  • roxhas1cat says:

I’ve heard of this line, but not smelled any of it. Love that they are so earth friendly and self taught! Wow. I’ve heard a lot of good things about this line. I’m not a fan of Oudh, but this makes me think I could like Oudh Infini. I’d love to win. USA.

  • I love Dusita fragrances. I have tried them and everyone is beautiful. I would love the sample set to have and love. The article is as beautiful as Pissara!

  • patrick_348 says:

I have not tried any Dusita fragrances yet, but Gail’s descriptions make me want to try them. I appreciate how each of her descriptions links its respective fragrance to a specific place. That makes the descriptions so much more vivid. I would choose Erawan if I win. I am in North Carolina, in the US.

  • wildevoodoo says:

Wow, the description of Oudh Infini sounds hauntingly beautiful. I love oud, rose, and oddly enough petrol/gasoline notes, so that with a touch of civet-y skank sounds incredibly well composed, like a story or a painting or even a film scene in a bottle. And just reading the description of Erawan sounds relaxing! It sounds like a soothing, tranquil, almost spa-like secret grove, lush with greenery and dripping with sunbeams, in the middle of a forest surrounded by gentle birdsong. Erawan sounds the most appealing of the three (although Oudh Infini is a close second!) so I would choose the 50ml Erawan if my name is drawn! My favorite Parfums Dusita fragrance is Issara. I am in the US! 🙂

  • LORI LAWS says:

Great article by Gail! I love that her fragrances correlate with her father’s poetry. Unfortunately, I haven’t had the opportunity to sample any of them yet. My choice would be La Douceur de Siam. Thanks for the generous giveaway and I live in the US!

  • I felt that Gail’s choices really highlighted the versatility of the line but also highlighted the feeling of the fragrances that tie them together under the spirit of the house name “Dusita.” I’ve never had the opportunity to sample this house so thank you for the gorgeous review (as always) and evocative images to go with it! I’m in the US and would love the travel sizes.

  • I have a small sample of La Douceur de Siam and adore it. I think Gail’s description of it is spot on! I love the green freshness of it the most. The snippet of poetry is lovely, as well. I am in the U.S.

  • Enjoyed this review on Dusita Parfums. Haven’t tried Oudh Infini and La Douceur de Siam and both sound good. I’d go with a bottle of La Douceur de Siam. Sounds like a tropical forest Thanks, US

  • ElenaChiss says:

La Douceur de Siam would be perfect for the hot, humid weather in my country. I think the ylang-ylang would beautifully bloom in the hot sun. I also love vanilla and cinnamon and I think they would be superb in this creation.

I am from EU. Many thanks for this wonderful opportunity.

  • I never went to the Tropics, that’s why I’m very attracted to the description of La Douceur de Siam. I really hope to win a bottle, thank you for this opportunity! I’m from Romania.

  • I enjoyed how Gail describes the places each scent sends her to. As a result, they all sound wonderful and I would enjoy visiting each one. I’m sure I would enjoy both perfumes, should I win, but today I’ll go with LA Douceur de Siam. Thank you for the review and the draw! In the us

  • Nice review, Gail. I know of the house, but have never put my nose on the fragrances. I’ve heard really good things and your review added some of the interesting context behind the creations. Not that every fragrance needs a story, it’s nice to know what it is (if one does have a story/concept). I think La Douceur de Siam sounds interesting and a departure from the usual things that I reach for. I’m in the USA.

  • DulciusExAsperis says:

These are such great choices! A nice range of what Dusita offers. The only one of these three that I have not sampled is Oudh Infini. One of my favorite houses, though…

Oh this is so difficult… I’ve had Douceur de Siam on my wish list forever. FOREVER! But I’m also so interested in Erawan. What to do…

I choose Douceur de Siam because the heart wants what it wants. “…exotic, wild and at once sweetly comforting and effervescent” is spot on! I’m so in love with Pissara’s creations, every one I have tried has been a stunner. I am hoarding my tiny samples. Since I’ve wanted Douceur longest, that’s the one I’ll enter for. I am in the USA!

  • I enjoyed the description of these fragrances and they all sound very exotic. To me the most appealing is La Douceur de Siam. Thank you from Romania

  • What a nice article about lovely Dusita’s 3 perfumes. All descriptions are beautiful, but I can pick up La Douceur de Siam- tropical forest, rain on golden champaca, roses, ylang-ylang, freshness of leaves… Short, but very elegant description!
    I find
La Douceur de Siam more feminine, do I would like to win Erawan.
    from Armenia

  • I enjoyed most learning what Dusita means. I have not had the honor of trying Ms. Umavijani’s fragrances yet but think I would love them all based on descriptions. I’m in USA. My birthday is this week; so, I hope I win something wonderful!

  • Symbian Pandora says:

Have loved this house from the beginning.
I own a full bottle of Erawan , a travel size of Le Sillage Blanc and still have samples of Oudh Infini.
A full bottle of the latter, I would love, or a travel size, much more manageable.
I wiuld love to enter for the 3 travel sizes.
    Thanks to all.
    I am in the USA.

  • WaltherP99 says:

I have smelled all Parfums Dusita fragrances, and I have to say this brand is unique. Unlike a lot of other brands popping up lately , who just want to jump on the bandwagon, Pissara creations represent her , her vision of the world and do not follow trends!
To be honest Oudh Infini is my least favorite Parfums Dusita fragrance. On me is super dirty, barnyardy type of oud , and on top of all animalic , civet is crazy strong. Not my thing at all.
La Douceur de Siam is my third favorite Dusita fragrance, and I mostly agree with Gail view of it. Spicy rose , with frangipani, champaka and a lot of cinnamon is what I get. A bit fruity too , with just a small hint of sweetness.
Erawan to me is the best Dusita fragrance. It’s really unique. Starts green , but soon after big wave of chocolate is coming. I feel like I’m sitting in the middle of a hey field , on my left side there’s fresh cut lumber, but on my right side there’s a huge pot of melted high quality Belgian chocolate. Really – really unique smell. I’m collecting fragrances for 25 years, and I’ve smelled thousands, but never something similar to Erawan.
If I have to rate my personal favorite Parfums Dusita fragrances:
    1. Erawan
    2. Issara
    3. La Douceur de Siam
A small note- I don’t know Splendiris. When I bought the sample set it was not on the market yet.
Of course my choice is Erawan .
What a great draw , thank you. I do follow all @cafleurebon, @parfumsdusita and @azarsmith7 on IG .
Virginia USA, or London UK at least 97/100 times

  • I absolutely loved the way she described all the perfumes. Very detailed and enchanting.
I don’t have any favorite Parfums Dusita fragrance. I live in USA.

  • doveskylark says:

I have heard so many wonderful things about Parfums Dusita, especially Oudh Infini. I am a big fan of animalic fragrances and I am intrigued to now know it was inspired by Tehran. I have the sense that all of Parfums Dusita fragrances take the wearer on journey. Thailand is my favourite country in the world. I especially want to wear fragrances that will take me there every single day.
I would choose the travel set.
    I live in the USA.

  • Uncle1979 says:

Never had a chance to smell Parfums Dusita fragrances.
I actually like barnyard kind of oud , if it not super dominant, but civet I can’t stand, so pretty sure Oudh Infini is not my kind of fragrance.
La Douceur de Siam sounds way better – like Gail described it “sweetly comforting and effervescent” . Frangipani is used in pastries apricot and frangipani dessert cake is fantastic. It’s popular in some Asian countries, and I presume La Douceur de Siam will smell a bit similar…I sure hope so.
Erawan sounds the best – green, woody and invigorating like Gail said. The vanilla addition will make it more livelier.
50ml of Erawan will be my choice if I’m the winner.
Appreciate the review, and the giveaway campaign
    USA

  • Judging by Gail Gross reviews I’m intrigued by Erawan . My love for crisp , woody and green fragrances comes naturally , I’m a Barber after all .
Not sure it’s my favorite Parfums Dusita fragrance , because it’s the only one I know , but Splendiris is a top quality scent. Saw a video on YouTube of Sebastian reviewing it , and got a sample from Luckyscent with my recent purchase. I personally really like it, but you have to like waxy scents to appreciate it.
If I’m lucky enough I’d like to win a bottle of Erawan .
Thanks Pissara , Gail and Cafleurebon for the chance.

Wow, I did not know that Pissara’s father is a renowned poet. I suppose artistry runs in the family. Gail, your description of Douceur de Siam makes it sound absolutely intoxicating. I can close my eyes and imagine being in a fragrant, floral paradise. It sounds like a kaleidoscopic experience, almost too good to be true. The only Parfums Dusita fragrance I’ve tried is Erawan, and I love it. Though it feels more cozy than panoramic, it’s so soothing and full of nourishing texture. I treasure my tiny sample and don’t want it to end. So as much as I’m drawn in by the other fragrances, of course I’d LOVE to win the 50mL of Erawan. I’m in the US, thanks for the draw!

I LOVE Gail’s choices because they cover a broad spectrum of notes that everyone would love. Excellent write up in general. My name is John Michael and I live in Boston Ma & my favorite is oudh infini… im It lasts for days! I would be so honored to try more from this house. PURE CLASS!

I loved how Gail describes the setting that Erawan conjures – it sounds like paradise! I love every one of Parfums Dusita’s that I’ve tried so far: Melodie de L’Amour, La Douceur de Siam, and Fleur de Lalita. Pissara does florals so well, and I agree that she is a versatile perfumer. I don’t think I could pick a favorite fragrance. Erawan isn’t like anything else I have in my fragrance wardrobe, so I would be so happy to win a bottle of it.
    Thanks for the giveaway!

Saw a few YouTube reviews, and articles on Cafleurebon, but unfortunately never had a chance to smell Parfums Dusita fragrances.
The good thing is I’ve been to Erawan National Park, and the enigmatic Erawan waterfall, and also to Erawan Museum in Bangkok. Private tours, especially with elephants and kayak combination are a bit expensive, but it’s worth it.
Since the fragrance was made to emulate the whole Erawan experience, I have to say if it’s even close the result will be magical. High bar , very high , but Gail impression gives me hope we have a winner.
My choice is clear- bottle of Erawan.
La Douceur de Siam sound good too with all the flowers and sandalwood.
    Thank you for the opportunity

  • Thank you everyone to for your thoughtful comments, kind compliments and for entering the draw. And many thanks to Pissara Umavijani for her generosity! There are still a few hours left to enter. And please check back here at CaFleureBon for the announcement of the winner.

  • Combination of civet and barnyard oud scares me A LOT. I do have daring scents in my collection, but I would not go this far. I’m sure some will adore Oudh Infini , but not me.
La Douceur de Siam Gail compared to cool and wet tropical night. Floral fragrances I like , but I have to pick them up myself, even though vanilla, amber and sandalwood base is intriguing.
Erawan sounds like it would be a calming and relaxing fragrance capable of putting me in a zen mode.
Working too much lately and I need a Zen fragrance , so bottle of Erawan is what I’d like to win.
Thank you for the lively review, and the giveaway.

  • It is imposible not to like Pissara and her wonderful creations. They “indeed embody and bring down to earth the feelings of peace, contentment and pleasure that are said to permeate Tusita”. Make this world a bit better, more celestial place. My favorite is Oudh Infini. I would love to win a bottle of Erawan.
    I live in the EU.

  • Excellent review exploration of fragrancs by Gail that I am so excited to try soon.. I have not tried any from Dusita yet and I know it is a great house. In live in USA. Thank you for the draw.

First time i’ve heard Parfums Dusita was on Sebastian Youtube channel, and then here on Cafleurebon.
A few months ago he did beautiful interview with Pissara on his channel , and i decided it’s time to buy the discovery set.
Completely agree with Gail Gross about La Douceur de Siam.
“I open a door into a cool wet, tropical night.”
Not sure where it comes from , maybe it’s some sort of mix between the notes , but on me i get juicy pear.
“just a bit of barnyard and animalic civet.”
Just a bit ?!? Oudh Infini on my skin is …well it’s not for everybody. As a early teen i had to clean horse barns.Well to me that’s exactly how it smells.
Erawan is unusual , but beautiful at the same time. I’m not sure how to describe it – it’s something in between fougere and gourmand. Undeniable there’s dark chocolate in it. It’s green , woody and herbal , but at the same time there’s decent amount of chocolate . Semi-fougere , semi-gourmand maybe?
My favorite Dusita fragrance is Erawan , closely followed by Splendiris .
Bottle of Erawan will be a dream.
    Thanks a lot
Back and forth between USA and Scotland , 1 week in US -> 1 week in Scotland.Basically both USA and EU at the same time .

  • Great review of an elegant house! I love Fleurs de Lalita – such a fresh dewy floral. It’s great Erawan seems so meditative for Gail. Would love to win the travel set. In the US

  • Dusita is a house I haven’t experienced yet but definitely peaks my interest. I love would to win Erawan! Thanks for the draw and I’m in Canada

  • I enjoyed the detailed description of all three of her favorites because they all sound beautiful and leave me dieing to try them.

The only thing i have tried from the house is splendiris and it is truly wonderful to me. The one that speaks to me most is La Douceur De Siam so I would pick that if i were lucky enough to win.

I am in the US thank you for the chance!
