Parfums de Marly Oajan Review (Shyamala Masiondieu) + Middle Eastern Gourmand Draw

Sebastian for CaFleureBon©

Parfums de Marly is a niche house  that has a cult following. We have been writing about them since 2013, and we many perfume lovers fell hard for Herod. There, Olivier Pescheux composed a tobacco and vanilla fragrance that pairs contrasting notes and matches them with cinnamon and osmanthus.  Parfums de Marly Oajan (WAJE-AHN) is one of Editor Sebastian Jara’s favorite because it reminds him of his childhood eating Middle Eastern pastries like Baklava.

Shyamala Maisondieu of Givaudan photo via Givaudan

Here, Givaudan perfumer Shyamala Masiondieu  pairs  honey  with cinnamon, tonka and a crisp note resembling apple that might be from osmanthus. This proves never judge a perfume by the notes alone.  Sweet fragrances can be cloying when an unseasoned perfumer uses a heavy hand  However this Middle Eastern treat strikes the right balance and is a grown –up gourmand.-Michelyn Camen, Editor-in-Chief

Gotta get me a pair of those red pillows… lol  Favourite from PdM is still Layton Exclusif, but Oajan is definitely in my top 3.  Interesting Sebastian gets green apples because it's definitely stronger on the honey on my skin.  Totally agree that it's a gourmand lover's dream and I love that he mentioned the almondy touch in the base.  Not as much as Pegasus, but it's in there…it's in there.  Great to hear my nose isn't going crazy… Yet.  USA

  • I have layton only but oajan is my favorite. It reminds me of a luxurious bakery. Loved the review Sebastian I'm a gourmand lover as well.

  • saadfragrance says:

I love this , been thinking of buying oajan but never able to get it most times when im ready its not available where i want it and you know maybe this giveaway would help me win haha. Anyways from the u.s.a and my favourite right now is herod from pdm

  • Parfums de Marly is my favorite house. Another nice review. Thank you for the opportunity.

  • Oajan is such a gorgeous fragrance! It is a reason sweet sexy apple pie type fragrance that last forever on my skin! As always sebastian's review was great and I am a gourmand lover just like him. Thank you for sponsoring the review and giveaway! I am in the USA in AZ.

  • I am in to gourmands and I do desire this one for my collection. Sebastian, your review was definitely short and sweet. This is the way I prefer a review.

  • PokemonMaster says:

He's very informative and also he's one of the reasons why i started collecting frags

  • LionessHeart08 says:

I am new in the niche world and after hearing such great things about the house of Parfums de Marly, I bought the women’s sample set from their website. I expected to love Delina but unfortunately, the sour rhubarb note is not for me. My favorite is Athalia which was very unexpected for me. Athalia reminds me so much of my mom that I plan on buying it for her someday. I have always been so curious to smell Oajan and Layton.. The way Sebastian described Oajan in the video sounds amazing and delicious. I do not have the means to purchase it myself so I would be so grateful if I won it.

  • Sebastian's description of Oajan had me remembering the gooey taste of baklava. Thanks for the opportunity to sniff! USA

  • I absolutely love this house.  My favorite is Layton.  I also have/love Harrod, Carlisle, and Godolphin.  These scents last an extremely long time and smell great!  Sebastian always introduces us to great fragrances.  Another nice video.  You!

  • Dawn Filler says:

Sebastian’s perfume review made me eager to try Oajan. Tasting that dessert I want to do too! Cinnamon and apples are a favorite combination- yum!

  • Hi Sebastian, keep up the good work. You have good taste or should I use sense of smell concerning fragrances. I look forward to trying this one. I want this in my collection.

  • I was exposed to the Nich perfume world this recent year, and now I feel i can’t go back to the designers perfumes. The uniqueness and the sharpest notes it is like Art. Parfums The Marly is one of my favorite houses. My favorite is Delina which I have recently purchased and it’s make me fill very happy when i wear it. Oajan is well described by Sebastian. I wish I can put my hands on this “Apple Pie” juice.

  • twiggy3634 says:

We know Sebastian loves his gourmands! In the video I like his note breakdown since I knew nothing about osmanthus until now. Although I've never tried Oajan, I love the house of PdM. My favorite from them is Habdan. Thanks for the giveaway!

  • Informative review as always by Sebestion! He actually got me into sampling Parfums De Marly, and I have to s as y that my favorite has to be Layton and Carlisle!

  • Yet another PDM I need to try. Great notes description. Wonder about performance and sillage.

  • flawless45 says:

I had been on the fence about sampling this but I know now after his review that I will love it!  Thank you for the chance to win!

  • I enjoyed the detailed way Sebastian described the stages and the note develpment in the review video. Layton is my current favorite from PdM. Cheers from the Pacific Northwest USA!

  • Another great review by Sebastian, I am so grateful that you partner with him frequently.  His gourmand descriptions sound delicious and makes my mouth water… would love to wear this on my skin.  Would be hard to stop sniffing myself.  My favorite from PdM is Pegasus.  USA

  • DorianGraye1971 says:

I’m not particularly drawn to gourmand fragrances, but the spice and patchouli make it more intriguing. That and I LOVE BAKLAVA!

  • I always enjoy Sebastian's reviews because of the shear amount of information he provides, and how his description of the fragrances almost makes it seem like you can smell what he's smelling! I'm a huge fan of Parfums de Marly, and would love a chance to win a bottle of Oajan!

  • All of Sebastian's reviews are great, very informative. He has introduced me to quite a few fragrances and houses, to which I've blind bought some bottles, and have been very happy with them. I just received a sample of Layton, but have not tried it out yet, but this house seems very popular in the niche community. I would love to be in the drawing for this bottle! Thank you! US.

  • Courtney Palmer says:

Sebastion describes Oajan so well. I have herod and Layton. I love this house

  • PDM is definitely one of my favorite houses and I’m lucky to have a Nordstrom’s near me in Dallas, TX that carries some of the line. Of them all, I’ve got to say that Layton, Carlisle and Oajan are my faves.  I’ve only managed to acquire one of them so far and that’s Layton… it’s a heavenly scent. Both Carlisle and Oajan are next on the list for me as I love gourmands! Thanks for perspective, Sebastian!

  • PdM is easily among my favorite niche houses of all time.  Oajan is extremely delectable, very similar to Ambre Narguile, but better in my opinion.  Seems denser and longer lasting.  In order of favorites would be Herod, Layton and Oajan.  Agree it has a very prominant pastry, apple pie thing going on that is just mouth watering.  Love gourmands.  Sebastian really broke down this stunning blend like a pro as he always does.  He has you smelling it without actually smelling it.

  • great review and I really like how the osmanthus may be like apple. I definitely don’t want to smell like baklava so I like that is modern. Layton exclusif and Herod are my favorites. I have heard of Shyamala Maisondieu she’s pretty well known.

  • Never had access to a Parfums de Marly fragrance but I love Amber neguile and have always wanted to get my nose on this cult classic.

  • fazalcheema says:

Oajan is def. one from Parfums de Marly that is often recommended. I did not expect apple note to be prominent like Sebastian observes. It is gourmand with middle eastern vibe like I expected. Of the ones I have tried, I liked Herod the most from the line. I am in US

  • sammyfire2001 says:

Awesome review.  I've been curious about this title and would love to wina bottle.  My favorite PDM fragrance is Carlisle

  • What I enjoyed about Sebastian's review is that he is very expressive and i could smell the perfume without actually smelling it in person due to his descriptive words, I can relate to Sebastion and I could watch his videos entirely without getting bored but because of this I've slowly been adding new perfumes in my collection! I haven't had the opportunity to own a PDM but it seems like something that will be best fitting for me!

  • bigscoundrel says:

Sebastian did a great job explaining the experience of this gooey amber middle eastern dessert fragrance. I'm going to pick up a sample this weekend.

  • Middle eastern dessert come alive…..absolutely and it’s gorgeous. Such a great perfect fragrance for a gourmand lover. The fragrance itself just amazes me the first time I smelled it. I get this cinnamon roll caramel smell then the Tonka sets in and oh my. I wore a sample to an outdoor beer garden and loved how it wafted in the air and the compliments were icing on the cake. I would love to own this beauty in the future. I haven’t explored but a couple in this line and really loved the Layton Exclusif. The house is true quality in my eyes and the nose agrees. In the USA. Thanks Sebastian for bringing this beauty to our attention.

  • alphakay1488 says:

I like how Sebastien really knows the fragrance and explains his own personal take on it.  So many reviewers just talk about "compliments" or "mass appeal" – I wear fragrances for myself, not for other people.

I don't own any PdM fragrances yet, and this is Oajan is one I've heard nothing but good things about, so I would love the opportunity to make this one my first from the house.

  • I like all of Sabastians reviews and this review has me interested in the scent I don't own any parfums decor marly scents yet.

    Thank you Brian

  • Sebastian is the best. I have sampled the fragrance it smells like warm apple pie and being a southern gentleman I love the smell

  • I watch Sebastian everyday. I have Delina and Safanad which I love! Sebastian always speaks so fondly of his mother and his memories. Love that! I would love to get my nose on this gourmand. Thank you!

  • I bought samples of herod Pegasus and layton but the prices are too steep for me. Oajan never really appealed to me compared to the rest of the line but could possibly grow on me. Hopefully I win ") . your the man Sebastian

  • I had the chance to try this from a small decant and i absolutely love it. Simply gorgeous scent. A lot of people compares this to ambre narguile and it’s similar indeed, but for my nose Oajan takes the lead by a mile 🙂 super quality. Sebastian review was awesome as always and i’m happy that he also loves it, delicious apples with cinammon and honey, yummy. I have Herod and a small decant of Layton, love them both, also sampled habdan, delina and pegasus (great juices). Thanks for the draw.

  • Thanks for another great, descriptive review.  Herod is my favorite PDM, but like Sebastian I really like this one as well.  I really like how there's no doubt when Sebastian likes a fragrance.  No shows put on here.  Thanks so much for the chance at the give away.  My fingers are crossed for sure.

  • Gabriel Gallawa says:

I appreciate how genuine Sebastian's reviews are.  You can always tell when he really appreciates a fragrance.  No shows put on here.  Herod is my favorite PDM but I'd love tho have this one as well.  Fingers crossed for sure.

  • I have been looking at Parfums de Marly for many years. All of Sebastians reviews have been very hepful with previous purchaes and entertaining to watch as well. He is very straightforward and honest and a great   fragrance guide.   Hoping to win  this bottle of Oajan.  My birthday happens to be March 16 so that would work out great!  Thank you for the opportunity.

    Thank you,

    Michael

  • I really like how sebastian describes it… Makes me feel like I'm smelling it by myself.

    Favorite PDM Herod 🙂

  • Ivan.napoleon says:

Sebastián s review amazing as usual. Iam a fan of him and of this house. It is a hard to pick one fav, but I really love Pegasus!

    Miami Florida Thanks

  • Sebastian, I love your reviews, very good. I was very interested in this fragrance now.

  • Thaís Helena says:

I love sebastian's reviews, they are always so accurate and truthful, it's really nice to watch someone with so much passion for fragrances. with that said, I gotta try herod stat, I believe it suits me best

  • amazing work sebastian! you did it again. I love how everytime I try one of the fragrances he reviews it's always exactly like he described it, really accurate. i think I'll pick herod over pegasus, so it would be really nice to win one

thanks and keep up the videos!!

  • Kevlar1999 says:

I have smelled only one fragrance from this house, Layton, which I love. Sebastian has one of my favorite channels cause of the fragrances he introduces to someone like me who is just starting to learn about fragrances, especially niche brands. Another great review by him as he gives a detailed breakdown of all the phases u can expect in this fragrance. Thanks for the giveaway opportunity!

  • citizenkage says:

I love this review and I love Parfums de Marley. Layton and Herod are my top 2 favorite fragrances of all time respectively. I haven't had the pleasure of trying Oajan yet but I am very excited to. It sounds fantastic and I am sure it is. Everything I've tried from Parfums de Marley really lasts on my skin. For whatever reason alot of fragrances that are marketed and reviewed as "beasts" or long lasting just do not last on my skin. Parfums de Marley however, lasts! Great review as always from Sebastian.

  • As always, I love Sebastian’s laid-back, inclusive reviewing style..very personable and not a snobby bone in his body.  He makes even very high-end fragrances appear approachable and I really appreciate that.  I’ve tried several Parfums de Marly and I love Delina.  Thank you for the chance and for introducing us to Sebastian!  I am in the US.

  • FRAGRANCELOVER says:

Love the review about this fragrance, it is one of my favorites that I Have always looked to get. I think it is the essential cinnamon scent to have. The smell is just to die for! I have only been able to get my hands on a sample of this so far, but it lasts a long time and smells amazing off the skin. Projection, Sillage and Compliments are a 10/10. Totally beats out Tom ford and Creed! Parfums De Marly is an amazing house!!! After Watching Sebastian's Review I'll be getting another sample as a back up at least until I can afford a bottle. Oajan is the best of the best made with the top of the line ingredients. Delicious and gourmand heaven for anyone who wants to be able to indulge themselves. It is sweet, seductive and leaves a scent trail that'll leave people's head spinning. It does for me! Niche Brands don't always do cinnamon right, but this one is on another level. I 100% agree with what Sebastian has to say about how good it is and how well blended this comes out. As he would say I'm "gaga" for it! Thanks guys for always being awesome and doing this Giveaway. I love what you do for the community!! .

  • I love Sebastian’s reviews. He compared this scent to middle eastern pastries Oriental gourmand sounds delicious! I own Layton and Habdan and I love them both.  I was actually thinking to pick this one as well. It would be great to have it in the collection. Thank you for a chance to win it! (Illinois)

  • I always love Sebastian's honest feed back! But what I loved about this particular on is my mouth is watering gourmand fragrances are my absolute favorite.

I have not got a chance to try any parfum de Marley but fingers crossed I will get to!

i am located in the US, North Carolina

  • I always enjoy Sebastian’s reviews. His enthusiasm is infectious, and he always describes/paints a picture of the fragrance, which makes you just want to blind buy everything he gives the thumbs up. So, that being said, please enter me into the giveaway.

  • Love Sebastian’s review as always. Described it very well and I already know I will like it. I currently own PDM Layton and would like to add more from this house

  • This is my first love from this house, from first sniff. It's just such a warm, sensual, cozy scent. Gourmand lover's dream. I would love to get the opportunity to when a bottle of this!

  • I'm a big fan of Sebastien's reviews for the reasons that many say upthread: his enthusiasm and his careful descriptions of the fragrances. I don't think I entirely share his tastes, but like any good reviewer, his descriptions give me a good guess about whether I'd agree with him or not about a particular scent. And this one sounds terrific. I've never smelled anything from this house, but I hope that this draw will give me the opporunity to do so.

  • Great description and passion as always from Sebastian. Im always excited to learn more about this house.

  • Really enjoyed hearing Sebastians comments of how the sweet gourmand reminds him of his mother and sweet treats he had a child. Great review as always. I havent tried many from the brand but i really like Akaster. Thanks for thr giveaway

  • Owner of Layton and Herod. Big fan of the house. Also tried Pegasus and Galloway and loved those too. Oajan was on my next bucket list to own/try.  Crossing my fingers that I have a shot at winning a bottle.

  • I do not have a fav perfumes de Marly scent  but I do like baklava and cinnamon  and always love Sebastian's reviews, as ever, and this one raising memories for him  Thx for the lovely draw!

  • I really enjoyed Senastian’s description of the notes. Especially the delicious top note filled with apple, honey, and cinnamon…crispy apples possibly from the osmanthus. I am relatively new to the fragrance world and have never had the chance to experience Parfums de Marley where I live. This one sounds wonderful! But, most of them do. For some time I’ve wanted to get my nose on this and Layton. Great review Sebastian! Thank you Çafleurebon!

  • Sebastian's reviews are always done with such details and passion. He described the fragrance exExact what it smells like. Delicious and sweet, spicy. Love when it reminds him of his mom and being at home. The house of Marley is a wonderful fragrance house. I do have Delina . I would love to add this to my collection. Thank you for the opportunity. USA

  • Brandon Pershin says:

Hey! Learning that osmanthus can be taken as an apple note was super interesting and read about that after the video. I’m a fan of gourmand and I JUST smelled Layton 2 days ago. Was my first sniff of a PDM. I actually bought it and went in my car and had buyers remorse like no other! I called my partner and they said to go back in and go with my remorse option! So I didn’t get it. But seeing this makes me want to dive into the PDM house and I think a gourmand would be an awesome way to do that. As always! Love the energy and information you bring into every video! Have a killer week!

  • yungcherrypops says:

Sebastian's review as always was highly informative and straight to the point. I have sampled Oajan and think it is a marvel – one of if not the best gourmand I've ever smelt. It and Layton are my favorites from PdM by far. Would love to win a full bottle of this lovely fragrance. Alabama, USA. Youtube name is Nathan Cherry.

  • i love Sebastian's emthusiasm about the fragrance, "its a middle eastern pastry come alive" I love that description it says it all for me! I live in the US!

  • Sebastian, great review of Parfums De Marly Oajan.  This fragrance sounds AMAZING!!! A Sweet/Oriental/Gourmand fragrance.  An apple/honey/cinnamon/ambery/vanilla fragrance that just sounds amazing.  The whole Parfums de Marly fragrance house in general sounds amazing.  I will have to look into sampling this fragrance for sure.

  • batandcamel says:

My favorite Parfums De Marly fragrance is Layton. I believe this is one of the best houses currently. I liked that Sebastian talked about the apple smell because I have also picked up on that. Great Review!

  • Kevin Altamirano says:

Sebastian is my absolute favorite reviewer! I have gotten into niche fragrances because of him! I have already gotten my hands on Layton and would love to have the chance to add Oajan to my collection!

  • I like how Sebastian specifies that he thinks Oajan smells like baklava and not like apple pie like everyone else does.  I own Layton exclusif and Herod.  I must admitt I wasn't sold on layton exclusiff, but after the 3rd visit, it jumped up to my top 10 scents in my collection.  Would love to get this bottle of Oajan to add to my collection

  • Love PDM, it’s one of my favorite niche houses. Love Sebastians channel, he has quickly become one of my favorite reviewers because he never mentions the same thing about a fragrance that every other reviewer does. He is consistently introducing me to new fragrances. Great review as always!

  • From the house I like Herod. I have no idea what baklava smells like but cinnamon and honey I know. US

  • Sebastian always tells it like it is – one of my favorite things about him. I really enjoy Parfums de Marly and would love to own this beautiful gourmand! My wife really enjoys Layton and I think she would enoy this one as well! USA

  • I always like Sebastian reviews. I have tested this perfume 2 or 3 times and I like it, because I like gourmand perfrumes. Anber, fruits, vanilka- sounds great.

From Parfum de Maly I like Layton, Harod.

    US

  • I only have a small sample of Oajan. I love this stuff. Gotta get my hands on a bottle one day. USA!

  • Much like Sebastian, I'm a big fan of the house. There's still a few that I need to get my nose on. Oajan is one of the bottles missing from my arsenal. The whole apple pie, or as per Sebastian baklava (happens to be my fav dessert ever)… sounds amazing. Would love to end up with this beautiful bottle. Good luck to all and congrats to the eventual winner. Thank you cafleurebon and thank you Sebastian.

    Cheers!

  • I absolutely love Parfums de Marley.  Delina and Herod are amazing fragrances and I know after Sebastian has talked about how wonderful Oajan is I know I will love it too!  Thank you for the chance to win.  USA

  • Sebastian does it best as always! I did try a sample of this fragrance a few years ago and enjoyed the honeyed cinnamon vibe that it gave. Parfums de Marley is of they highest quality, but a little out of my perfume budget… With that said, Yes I would LOVE a chance at winning this vary nice seletion from this house! I do live in the US…THANK YOU

  • I loved the review. I like how Sebastian describes the fragrance in an understandable way. The fragrance seems so enchanting! I would love to win this bottle. I would truly be very happy.

  • Sebastian always review the fragrances in a clear and consice way which really describes the fragrance.  This sounds truly beautiful and would be a great way to introduce myself to this house.  Thanks for a great review and a wonderful draw. I'm in the USA

  • ThatMulattoDude says:

Sebastian gives really good detail about the scent profile of fragrances. I really would like to get my hands on Oajan and Herod from PdM. These 2 seem to get widespread love from the comm. Best!

  • I loved the video, you did a good review. speaks with enough clarity and passes great information

  • EMANUEL CABRAL PEREIRA says:

    Great review

  • Great review by Sebastian! I loved when he said that this is a gourmand lovers dream come true. So many beautiful notes in this one. I love Delina by Parfums de Marly. Thanks for the giveaway and I live in the US! 🙂

  • middleagedandmixed says:

I'm intriqued by Sebastian's description of Oajan as being a Middle Eastern dessert come alive. Like Sebastian, I'm also a fan of Herod by Parfums de Marly. Thank you from the U.S.

  • dealripper says:

Another great review from Sebastian. What I liked about his review?

    1. The backdrop setting

    2. The introduction and overall presentation of his thoughts about the perfume

    3. His conviction as expressed in words that tells volumes about the perfume character

    4. Tried and tested his nose, if Sebastian says its good, it definitely is

I own Herod and Carlisle from PDM already and would love to try this one for sure.

  • RobertNicolasB says:

I had a sample of Oajan that I burned through this winter and everything Sebastian says is spot on.  It really is a middle eastern dessert! I own Herod and Layton Exlusif and absolutely love both of them.  Oajan is next on my PdM list and I would love to win this bottle! Thank you for the opportunity. -USA

  • Sebastian’s reviews are always short and sweet and that’s what I love the most. His description of the notes and how everything comes together is amazing. I don’t have a favorite Parfums de Marly yet.

    I live in USA.

  • It was interesting to see sebastian’s take on oajan. I have a sample and i really like it, it’s warm and inviting.

  • The description sounds AMAZING! I didn’t hear any note I may not like. When Sebastian mentioned baklavas, it brought so many memories. I love this house and currently own Delina and Athalia. I’d love to add more PDM fragrances from the musculine line, if not for myself, then for my husband.

  • I always love Sebastian's review and this one on this delicious Parfums de Marley fragrance Oajan is no different. He really explains the notes so that you can almost smell it, this fragrance sounds amazing! If I get my nose on this fragrance I will jump for joy. I live in CA, USA. Thank you Cafleurebon. One LOVE!!!

  • I am a fan of how he helps me to understand the scent and how this would wear on my skin

  • Sebastian's vivid descriptions of frags are incredible. So spot on. That alone makes me want to try Oajan.

  • Really enjoyed the description on how the different notes combine into a "desert". Sounds great!

  • I've only ever sampled PdM's Percival and I absolutely loved it. I've been wanting to purchase something from this house but just haven't decided which one to get. I loved Sebastian's review. I really enjoy gourmand fragrances. This one sounds so delicious with the notes of cinnamon and honey in the top notes. That dry down of patchouli, musk, vanilla, tonka bean is so great. I love how Sebastian describes it as a sweet Middle Eastern dessert!

    I live in the USA.

  • I love a good gourmand!  Sebastian's detailed description made me want to go find something sweet to eat!  🙂 Parfums De Marly Layton is my favorite from this house. This sounds like a must sniff fragrance to me.  In the USA.

  • I do agree with Sebastian 100% , we’ll not exactly 100% , but 95% haha Oajan is one of the best fragrances ever. It’s not a secret- it’s similar to Ambre Narguile , but is much-much better . It’s deeper, fuller with better longevity, projection and sillage . Long time Ambre Narguile here, but after smelling Oajan I’ll never get it again. Unlike Sebastian I do not get green apples. My favorite Parfums de Marly is Oajan closely followed by my bottle of Delina Exclusif . I really like Pegasus too. Tnx to all involved in this giveaway. Richmond Virginia

  • juulianacastro says:

  • I really appreciate how sebastian shows his passion. He love what he do.

I don't own any pdm, but love oajan.

  • Sebastian was the reviewer that introduced me to niche frags… what more can I say? 😉 Fav pdm by far: pegasus

  • Sebastian is always on spot. Oajan is wonderful. I enjoy herod and carlisle from pdm, but I only own the first one

  • salesrolim says:

Straight to the point as usually!! I need to test this one, love AN.

    I haven't tested any pdm 🙁

  • Joseph Pledger says:

Hello and thank you Sebastion for the excellent review of one of my favorite fragrances. I have been a long time user of Carlise and Layton, but Carlilse has always been my favorite. I have a great amount of fragrances in my collection because of you, and I admire your taste in perfumery. I recently bought a tester of Oajan and it was intoxicating to say the least! I have gotten many compliments, and I would love to win a bottle of this as I keep getting testers, and this fragrance is a favorite already for me. You did a marvelous job of describing the fragrance and it's ambiance, and because of our similar tastes, I know I'd get a lot of enjoyment out of this bottle. Thank you and be well! Hope I win!

  • WaltherP99 says:

I know Oajan quite well .I had a bottle back in 2014-2015 , but i finished it. I do mostly agree with Sebastian's review , with a small note-nothing similar to green apple comes out of my skin when i spray Oajan. When i walk in the cold i do get artemisia.

My favorite Parfums de Marly fragrance is Habdan – it’s UNREAL how good it is…to me at least.I’ll never get rid of it …no way.One of my all time favorite fragrances.
Already follow all the profiles on IG.

    Thank you for the oportunity.

    USA

  • Again a nice job by the best Youtube reviewer.

I really like the baklava comparison – one of my favorite deserts 🙂  Oajan is really good , and yes it smells similar to baklava…in a way.

Love my bottle of Delina .. i mean “regular” Delina – haven’t tried Exclusif yet.

Tnx for the generous giveaway , and to Sebastian for his review.
    Cheers from VA

  • Long time reader of this beautiful blog, but I just had to register because of Oajan giveaway campaign.  Not a complete newbie to the niche world, but I do have a lot to learn. I know Parfums de Marly because of Herod – top 3 fragrance in my relatively small 23 fragrances collection. Oajan review is mouthwatering I have to admit. As a pastry chef I have to say baklava origin is unknown. Yes it's super popular in the Middle East, all over the Balkans and so on , but no one knows the exact origin. Over 10 different countries claimed it  , or at least they tried to. Also there are big differences between regional variations. Appreciate the giveaway campaign. East coast USA

  • In all honesty, I enjoy Sebastian’s genuine passion for fragrances. You don’t only see it in his Oajan video but you see it in all of his other videos he uploads. He and a lot of other fragrance reviewers inspire me in a creative way to write music. Not sure if this makes sense but thats about it. I hope he continues to put out more videos with his strong passion!

  • Enjoyed the review by Sebastian. I don’t have much experience with PDM. Ive smelled Herod and Carlisle. They both are nice but Carlisle a bit more. This sounds good. Not much experience with gourmand fragrances. Thanks, US

  • I loved his very detailed video. I was interested in buying an oajan instantly. my favorite marly parfum is layton

  • Really enjoyed the video.  I feel like I can smell it already based on his description.

I love watching Sebastian's reviews. I've only tried Pegasus and Delina but I enjoyed both of them. I loved his review of Oajan. I feel like something that smells like a middle eastern dessert would be amazing and i'm dying to try it now.

  • Love this fragrance Oajan, and want more like it. Please let me know when Parfums De Marly make more groundbreaking fragrances like Oajan
