Parfums de Marly Nisean Review (2016)+Hidden Gem Draw

Parfums de Marly Nisean Review

Parfums de Marly Nisean collage with Labdanum, (lower left), woods (lower right) and patchouli (upper right) by Michelyn

With our curiosity to try new releases, it takes a special sales associate or happenstance to find a hidden gem in a brand.  We have been writing and reviewing Parfums de Marly since 2014 and it seems that Herod, Layton, Layton Exclusif and Carlisle have a cult following. For Editor Sebastian Jara Parfums de Marly Nisean is a hidden gem. Patchouli and labdanum predominate.  What is labdanum? Labdanum absolute is found in nearly all amber accords and provides a sweet, woodsy, resinous scent to any fragrance.

Composed by Nathalie Gracia-Cetto in 2016, Parfums de Marly Nisean is often overlooked in the fragrance community.  If you enjoy woody, spicy perfumes for autumn, give Nisean a try. –Michelyn Camen, Editor-in-Chief

  • Always love Sebastian’s take on fragrances, intrigued me with the labdanum/patchouli/woody mix. Love watching the reviews! Would love to be in the giveaway, am located in California.

  • Sebastian is always great at providing fragrance recommendations! I really enjoy woody spicy fragrances and this sounds wonderful. My favorite PDM would be Layton Exclusif. USA

  • I really liked that Sebastian did choose to highlight this fragrance as it doesn’t get talked about as much as so many other PDM fragrances do. This patchouli and labdanum combination sounds interesting as well. My favorite PDM is the one I own my first niche fragrance, Layton. I’m in the U.S. Thanks for the generous draw!

  • Great job, Sebastian as always! Thank you for this review. I need to test this perfume, because I am intrigued by this review and I love patchouli. I like Herod, Oajan. US

  • Sebastian mentioned Nisean as classic. I love patchouli in fragrances, so I’m interested in trying this. This sounds perfect for chilly weather. Thanks for the opportunity to sniff! USA

Sebastian always does an excellent job description of what to expect while wearing said fragrance. Love PDM Come home to me bottle! Florida,USA

  • Scentitar Fragrance says:

I enjoyed sebastian hignliting that this is a hidden gem and under appreciated really. I agree, that this is a modern and dark fragrance with understated strength and elegance. I love both godolphin and Latin exclusive. Galloway has been growing on my too. Great house and brand !

  • Shamrock1313 says:

I have a few PdMs, but never got around to trying this for some reason – Sebastian’s review has piqued my interest tho.
    Pennsylvania USA

  • I liked how Sebastian describes the dominance of Patchouli, Labdanum and Woody notes. This fragrance seems to be right in my wheelhouse. I wasn’t aware of this gem before Sebastian’s review and I definitely would love to win the bottle. I’m in Florida.

  • Sebastian does it again with another epic review. The way he describes fragrances in general and even specific notes has made him my top reviewer. Warm, spicy, ambery, balsamic; deep, dark, rich, opulent; big, bold and beautiful… this got me looking forward to trying this out. My favorite Parfums de Marly fragrance is Herod. I’m in USA

  • Gabriel IONITA says:

  • Damon Herota says:

I am not sure which Nordstrom here in Florida? Either they don’t have it out or they are “out” of their tester here in Orlando at Millenia Mall.

Someone needs to talk to their REP. They don’t have Carlisle either =(

This is the reason I have not yet tried it! I did get the BIG L though! Love the blue bottle.. but this gorgeous black one could go right next to it!

This would be awesome for our mild Florida winters that we will get. The smokiness… =)

  • Scott Wilbur says:

This sounds scrumpteous. Sebastian always makes the frags sound so gorgeous! I really want to give this a try. Love a number of their frags. Kalan is my fave right now.

  • Sunny Chaudhary says:

Sebastian does it again with another epic review. Always love Sebastian’s take on fragrances and most of the time if i can’t try a fragrance I go to his channel to check review and then blind buy it.

So Great job, Sebastian as always!

My eprsonal fav from house is Herod and I LOVE IT 😀

  • Jeff Cascarell says:

I own Herod, Layton & Carlisle so far based off past reviews from you sir!! Thank You. I love warm, deep, dark & spicy frags so I think Nisean would make a wonderful addition.

  • William Mulkeen says:

Sebastian’s reviews introduced me to so many new fragrance houses. PDM has become one of my favorite next to Tiziana Terenzi. Thanks for another great review.

  • I love all of sebastian’s suggestions I have tried. I am also a fan of PDM so I’m sure this is fantastic woody and spicy definitely something I can get with! My favorite from PDM is definitely herod!

  • Hendrix Wilson says:

I always love the way he lets you know the best season for the fragrance. In this video he schooled me about having deep and dark fragrances for the fall and winter. I always love his videos and try to get my nose on the fragrances he reviews. I have not had a chance to put my nose on any of the Layton fragrances. USA

  • John-Piere Halim says:

Another great review from Sebastian. I loved the breakdown of notes here. I am a big fan of these luxurious orientals. The amber and patchouli notes with florals sound very intriguing. My favorite PDM is currently Layton. I would love to get my nose on Nisean.

  • James wilson says:

I enjoyed how he brought light to the lesser known fragrance tmim reslly excited about, i love the hidden gems!!

  • I love how Sebastian breaks down the complexity of this fragrance – always with such class. The notes in Nisean seem so masterfully combined resulting in what I’m sure is a beautiful and sophisticated fragrance. Parfums De Marly is my favorite Niche house. I currently own Herod, Layton and Oajan and I absolutely love them.

Thank you Cafleurebon and Sebastian for this wonderful give away.

    Cheers!

  • I love Sebastian’s reviews for its clarity, description, frequency and his clear passion for fragrances, and look forward to his videos. I like Carlisle and Layton Exclusif from the house of Parfums de Marly, but do not own any. I have never heard of Nisean but as someone who also loves Patchoulo, I would love for this to be my first PdM fragrance! I live in the USA.

  • Sebastian has an exquisite way of describing how a perfume unfolds. I’m always interested in hearing about the hidden gems that don’t get a lot of press. I don’t want to smell like every one else. I’m in the US

  • Emilio Villalobos says:

Sebastian mentioned Nisean as classic. I love patchouli in fragrances, so I’m interested in trying this. This sounds perfect for chilly weather. Thanks for the opportunity.

  • Wonderful review. I enjoy Sebastian’s passion for fragrances. I happen to enjoy many of his favorite notes such patchouli and spices. This seems like a hidden gem. I hope to win the giveaway. Currently do not own any parfums de marly fragrances but hope to start with this one.

  • It’s always with pleasure to watch Sebastian’s video’s on YouTube he gives such indepth analysis of fragrances with passion and bringing out unknown gem like this NISEAN.

  • First, thanks for the cooperation with Sebastian, he is the best reviewer on youtube on male fragrances.
PDM is a gem house, Layton exclusive and Carlisle are the best!
I would love to have this one as well, as I am a huge fan of oriental fragrances.

  • I’m in USA. I knew immediately he would love it due to his love of patchouli. Oooh, with amber. I love labdanum. And, I really liked the mention of smoke and incense. I think this would be my fave PdM. We have this in common. My fave PdM is Hamdani.

  • PDM great house I have few great gems “Layton Herod & Carlisle”
Definitely I’m going to get a sample Nisean.

  • It’s been a while since we had a Sebastian “patch hoe” review lol but I’m glad he focuses on the labdanum and smokiness over the patchouli. Love this house, my favorite from them is Habdan. Cheers from Indiana, USA.

  • Nisean has been on my test list for awhile and now after watching Sebastian’s video, it’s a must try! The description is very much in tune with my taste in fragrances. I love smokey, balsamic orientals and incense heavy fragrances.

  • The things I liked about Sebastian’s review are the fact that someone has finally reviewed a Parfums de Marly fragrance that is rarely mentioned and his description of the patchouli/labdanum combination. He and I share similar tastes in fragrances and his joy was palpable while watching the review. So far my most favorite PdM fragrance is Oajan. It would be a pleasure to finally get my nose on Nisean. Many thanks to Sebastian for his review and to Fine Fragrances and Yvan Jacqueline for the generous giveaway! I’m in Oregon, US.

  • “Rich…it’s really opulent…really, really awesome…my kind of a fragrance” – Sebastian Jara. Enough said! VA, USA.

  • Darryl S Farrington says:

Always love Sebastians reviews Thank you Sebastian for saving me from drug store fragrances

  • Brooke Ward says:

I really love Parfums De Marly. I love Delina. It’s a great fragrance house. I love watching Sebastian’s reviews because he has helped me discover some amazing fragrances and he has the best reviews. I’m so happy he did a review on this fragrance Nisean because I’m a Patchouli lover. The notes in this fragrance sound like a beautiful perfect cocktail of patchouli, labdanum, saffron, woods and flowers. I want to smell this so bad now. I would love to enter this giveaway because everything about this fragrance captures me. I would wear this so much. Thank you so much. So much love. USA Florida.

  • Parfums de Marly is my favorite house and I enjoy watching Sebastian’s reviews. He says he’s a huge Patchouli fan, so I trust his opinion. I own Percival, Herod, and Layton.

  • Bryant Worley says:

Sebastian’s enthusiasm always gets me interested in trying a fragrance. That, and the ambery-woody–floral-patchouli combination makes this a must have! Currently, my favorite de Marly is Layton Exclusif.

  • Marc Taichibana says:

I really liked the review and my interest is piqued. Since its classified as an Oriental woody fragrance I should love this one. Thanks Sebastian for the great video.

  • Love Sebastian’s description of an amber woody spice. I adore Oajan from the same house. Would love to try Nisean, the notes sound sooo appealing!!

  • I love the way Sebastian reviews his fragrances. He goes very in-depth and always adds an appeal to Fragrances that are good.

  • I trust Sebastian with his taste which is similar to mine. I bought few perfumes based on his review. He describes the scent in depth and with great precision. I love almost all offerings from PDM. I own Layton and Habdan .

  • avid fan of Sebastian. Hes a great influencer for different fragances that other bloggers do not review.I just purchased layton but definitely would love to try another demarley fragrance

  • avid fan of Sebastian. Hes a great influencer for different fragances that other bloggers do not review.I just purchased layton but definitely would love to try another demarley fragrance.

  • Elijah Levell says:

I never heard of this fragrance. I’d live to smell a bottle of this scent. I appreciate the hard work Sebastian puts in.

  • Love the sound of some of this. Need to get my nose on on it. Sounds amazing. Thanks for sharing

  • Always watch Sebastian reviews, he has a very good nose and know all fragrance stuff. Always a pleasure to learn about gems like nisean. I dieeeeee for a pdm fragrance, every time I see a review about that house, a tear rolls from my eyes. Located in texas

  • It’s always great to find out about hidden gems or to be able to be an early discoverer of anything but for me its especially exciting when it comes to fragrances because I have always tried to be different from the masses. I love the never ending knowledge Sebastian shares! LABDANUM! Amber and sweet notes are my favorite and I love this time of year because I get to wear my favorite scents which most of are full of Ambers n sweets. I actually do not own any Parfums De Marly yet!(key word, yet) because I have no local access to it…:( if I dont win this bottle I will definitely be trying to get my nose on it asap! Good luck to everyone-thank u!

  • I enjoyed how Sebastian stepped outside of the box and showcased some of the not as popular options from the house .
I’ve smelled Oajan , Herod , and Layton and I am in love with the house but unfortunately I haven’t had the ability to own a bottle yet .
    Hopefully that Changes soon !

  • Every review Sebastian does gets me excited to try a new fragrance. Would love a bottle of this fragrance! Portland Oregon here! Hope i get to win and try this one!

  • Been a big fan Sebastian and based on his recommendation have picked up PDM’s Layton, Carlisle, and Godolphin. Would love the opportunity to add Nissan to the collection as well!

  • Sebastian’s reviews are no non-sense and he gets to the point. I really enjoyed the way he described the way that Parfums De Marly Nisean smells. Sounds like my kind of cold weather scent and would enjoy wearing it this winter on my Christmas trip to New York.

  • I would love to enter his giveaway as a big fan of Oriental fragrances and specially the ones with woods and patchouli. I like Sebastian reviews, I think he’s one of the few that is honest.

  • Enjoyed the passion of Sebastian’s review. Parfums de Marly is one of me favorite houses. Love their offerings! Cheers from Oregon.

  • I like his review because of the detail description of the fragrance. As far as the notes and smell.

  • xmrcifuplzx says:

Sebastian’s reviews are always done so elegantly. I love how he brakes down the notes in a way that’s easy to understand for frag newbies like me. I would love to get my hands on this fragrance to add to my pretty small collection. I’m still seeking a signature scent. Where I live in Wisconsin it gets pretty cold and this could be the answer I’ve been searching for! Thanks for the opportunity to join in the giveaway. Good luck to all!!

  • The way Sebastian described Nisean I think I would like it, as I like deep, resinous scents.

  • I would love to sample or have at least one niche fragrance in my collection. I’ve always been intrigued by parfums de Marley but unable to afford a bottle. Sebastian always is able to clearly articulate how a fragrance smells and performs, which will always make a person want to try out this fragrance. When you listen to Sebastian, you can tell his passion and expertise in fragrances

  • I’m always enjoying Sebastian youtube channel, he provides the best fragrance content. I enjoyed Sebastian review because he explaining the fragrance from A to Z, and provides the viewers a good point of view.

  • Michael Prince says:

Sebastian, great review of Parfums de Marly Nisean. I’m not sure why this doesn’t any love in the fragcomm. I personally haven’t tried this, but I haven’t tried many niche fragrances due to lack of store locations nearby. I love patchouli and labdanum as notes. Especially when labdanum possesses a beautiful smoky, balsamic, amber experience. I love Parfums de Marly Herod. There are so many good fragrances from PDM. I am from the USA. Thank you for the giveaway.

  • fazalcheema says:

Sebastian describes it as a green patchouli scent that also has prominent incense note. Nisean seems like an appropriate fragrance for the cold weather now. I am in US

  • Mohamed Tarek Ahmed says:

A trustworthy reviewer ! I guess for some reason, I am almost blind buying fragrances after Sebastian’s opinion that they’re good. I would love to be in the giveaway. Lexington Kentucky

  • Mmm, smoky labdanum. Sounds like a great cold weather scent.

I don’t remember sampling this one – perhaps it was skipped over the last time I visited a PdM shop. I’m fond of Herod, Godolphin and Delina, but for my own collection I would probably choose Oajan.

  • bigscoundrel says:

Another great review from Sebastian. I always put his recommendations at the top of my list to check out. I have Layton and Layton Exclusif. I’m in the USA.

  • Sebastian always brings the good with his reviews. I really like Patchouli and labdanum so this sounds good. I like learning about fragrances that not many people talk about. I also like oriental fragrances so this sounds good. I like Layton Exclusive from this house. Thanks for the giveaway.

  • I too like patchouli and from a house like PDM I bet it’s done well. A great sounding cold weather fragrance. A house fave is Herod. US

  • I loved Sebastian’s detailed description of how there is an equal and complementary mix of patchouli and labdanum in Nisean, sitting on a base of dense, deep and rich woody notes. Bold fragrances are not always my cup of tea, but the way Sebastian described it as an opulent oriental spicy fragrance makes it very intriguing. My favorite PdM perfume is Oajan. Thanks for hosting the draw. Regards from Boston, USA.

  • The depth of richness and boldness of this fragrance is what drew me in about Sebastian’s review. I love when my fragrances create an almost palpable feeling around me; and the notes in this bottle give me the inclination that this fragrance does just that. My favorite from the brand is Oajan. Commenting from USA.

  • Love how Sebastian explains the notes in such detail. His reviews are always a most, specially when they’re PDM. Would love to win the Giveaway, from Texas.

  • Michael Werno says:

Loved his breakdown of the notes and bringing attention to the lesser known releases of this great house.

  • I enjoyed this video review and I am intrigued by this fragrance in which patchouli and labdanum are protagonists. Delina Esclusif is my favorite of the brand. I live in the USA.

  • derekdominos70 says:

Hello Sebastian, this is a wonderful frgrance.
It is tough to find. I wore a spray sample and it was amazing. It has a cold vibe to it. Many people responded overwhelmingly well to it.
You do a thorough honest job of reviewing fragrances that the community needs, amongst hype & bologna.

I’d love to be an owner of a full bottle of this. I commented on your channel about Byerley smelling like Earl Grey. Now, this one I agree with your video, Nisean is terrific and overlooked. It doesnt have that designer appeal, which I love. Thanks again for your efforts to our community!

  • Sebastian is to me one of the best fragrances reviewers today. His take on PdM Nisean was very good as he talks about the patchouli and the labdanum notes. Also he says its a hidden gem and don’t know why its not mention in the community. Would love to own this own for sure. Thanks for such an amazing draw. I live in CA, USA.

  • Karam kanan says:

    I love perfum dear Marley
I got pegasus in 2016 it was one of the best perfumes I ever got , the masculine version of patchouli and vanilla is awesome and the silver box is breath taking. It’s one out of a kind .
    Thank you.

  • Labdanum and patchouli notes seems great and i trust what sebastian says. I own parfums de marly layton and i am sure this one gonna be great like layton from my new favourite niche house.

  • Karam kanan says:

Herod my mom got me this fragrance since she knows that I’m a big fan of perfum de Marley , the scent is awesome the tobacco is dominant and elegant really sexy and smart , it’s a great perfum for evenings and weddings , a real compliment getter.

  • Karam kanan says:

This Nisean perfum is really exciting the Labdanum , Patchouli and woody notes seems yummy for this time of the year , I hope I get it, and btw thanks Sebastian for always introducing interesting fragrances to people because this one I never saw before at Nordstrom.

  • Again a nice job by the best reviewer out there, both on Cafleurebon , and on Youtube.
Patchouli, smoky amber, throw some saffron into the mix , such a pleasing base. Pure classic I would like to explore.
Love my bottle of Delina .. i mean “regular” Delina – haven’t tried the Exclusif yet , it’s about time . I also bought Byerley as a gift for dad’s birthday, and he’s really impressed. Of course I bought it because of Sebastian review for Cafleurebon.
    Thanks for the generous giveaway.
    Cheers from VA USA

  • ThatMulattoDude says:

I’ve only tried Layton from PdM but really enjoyed it. Another bangin review from Sebastian who’s captured the scent profile well. Def like to add this to my fall/winter rotation. Virginia, USA

  • I love that Sebastian is bringing us hidden gems. I’ve been sampling a lot of patchouli based fragrances recently and the labdanum/wood blend sounds lovely. I’ve not tried any Parfums de Marly, but am anxious to do so. I live in the US

  • Patchouli and I are best friends”
    Haha
Being a Barber I’m loving deep and rich spicy and woody scents. Back in the days , when I was younger I considered patchouli, woods , saffron notes to be way too mature for me. Now I think otherwise , and I do enjoy both aromatics and spicy orientals a lot . Nisean sounds really good , especially for a barber like me. Semi aromatic, semi oriental maybe?
My favorite PDM is Layton Exclusive , and i’m happy to own a bottle. I also like the original Layton , and Godolphin. Thanks for the review, and the giveaway. Positivity all the way. USA

  • Sebastian could make me dab house paint behind my ears and think it was great. The patchouli note draws me in. I live in the USA and my favorite PDM I’d Meliora.

  • My favorite PDM is Layton Exclusif. I’m looking forward to wearing Oajan this winter too. I think Sebastian is right. Nisean is perhaps not purchased as often because it is not spoken about as often. It’s typically not a top fragrance of online reviewers. Others like Layton, Layton Exclusif, Carlisle, Gadolfin and Harod are spoken about so often I think Nisean gets lost in the abyss. I’ve love to own it and hope to win the opportunity to have this relatively new fragrance.

  • Sebastian knows fragrance better than any reviewer on YouTube. He has turned me on to so many great scents. I like Parfums de Marly. Never tried Nisean, but sounds great from the review. Carlisle is still my favorite with Herod in 2nd place. Would love to try this one! US.

  • Obviously colder weather fragrance we got here – quality patchouli, woods , saffron and labdanum . Sounds super good , and cozy.
All Parfums de Marly non-transparent bottles look super classy , including Nisean. I’m not convinced on Sedley transparent one . Call me perfectionist, but bottle design, looks and the way it feels is important to me.
Oajan is my favorite Parfums de Marly , but Delina Exclusive is breathing in Oajan neck all the time. Both are staples for me.
Thank you for the top opportunity USA

  • Duane Patterson says:

PDM Ia great house and love that Sebastian spends time reviewing the less publicized fragrances. My favorite PDM is easily Layton…might be my favorite fragrance bar none. USA

  • Wow Sebastian! A wonderful review and the description sounds so interesting! I would love to try. I love Delina and Herod. USA and thank you!

  • patrick_348 says:

I have not tried any fragrances by Marly, but Sebastian’s review certainly makes me want to try this one. Sebastian makes the combo of patchouli/labdanum/and woody notes sound so appealing.

  • I liked the explanation of labdanum since I was not familiar with it. His videos are always very descriptive and helpful.

  • Alvaro Martinez says:

I have to say, Exclusif is likely my favorite. I find myself leaning towards darker, and oudy, resinous accords. I currently own Exclusif, Layton, Herod, Carlisle, and Percival..

  • Ah, most gorgeous labdanum. Speaking of patchouli, I used to spray Noir Patchouli and Amber 114 (which you recently reviewed) at the same time for that incredible patchouli-amber combo. It sounds as if I could spray Nisean for the same effect! This would by my first from Parfums de Marly.
    USA

  • I loved this review!! A smoky, resinous fragrance that sounds perfect for this cooler weather. I adore the Parfums de Marly house. I was first introduced to this line this summer when my boyfriend surprised me by making a trip to Harrods when he was in London and he bought me Layton Exclusif. I fell in love with the fragrance and then blind bought Delina Exclusif in August. I want to own all their scents!!
    I live in the USA.

  • Zion Creagh says:

I love his well thought out and passionate explanation about the fragrance that I have never heard of but would love to try!

  • Sebastian does a great job with this video, as per usual. I’ve only tried two PdM fragrances (Herod and Layton) and both are tremendous. I would be thrilled to win this one to try another. I am in the United States.

  • sebastian is just so relatable. love it and also love parfums demarly especially oajan and delina. usa

  • I have sampled / smelled all of Parfims De Marly fragrances , including the new Cassili for women. It is a beauty. What a great house.
Of course I know Nisean. I do agree with Sebastian description, but smoky almost incense nuances are not somewhere in the back , but well pronounced on me. I don’t get any floral notes, but I do get some traces of dried fruits.
My favorite Parfums de Marly fragrance is by far Habdan – it’s UNREAL how good it is…to me at least.I’ll never get rid of it …no way.One of my all time favorite fragrances , and to me one of the the most underrated Parfums de Marly.

  • m.r.everything says:

I know how Sebastian loves his patchouli! For him to say this is a great fragrance because of the patchouli note in this really makes me want to seek this one out. I, too, enjoy patchouli when it is done well in a fragrance, and this sounds like it was! Parfums de Marley is a fantastic brand that I have had the pleasure of smelling quite a few of their offerings. I have a few more on my list to still try and I will definitely get there. I have heard and read about Nisean before, but for some reason, it never quite got my attention until now. The only Parfums de Marley that I own is Herod…. go figure, haha! I enjoy it so much though… it is such a phenomenal tobacco fragrance and garners compliments every time I wear it! I have a few others on my list and even a few that I am willing to blind buy if that right deal comes along! Thank you for the amazing review and for opening my eyes just a little wider Sebastian. I truly appreciate your opinions and have added this to my list to check out! Thank you team Michelyn, Fine Fragrance Distribution, and Yvan for thi very generous and awesome opportunity to try this underdog of a scent from Parfums de Marley! I live in Delaware, US. Good luck to all and I hope everyone enjoys the rest of their weekend. Looking forward to the next review Sebastian…

  • citizenkage says:

Sebastian is great because he is always highlighting somewhat lesser known fragrances. He has opened my eyes to so many fragrances I’ve never even heard of that are fantastic! I love PDM, one of my favorite houses, but I have never tried Nisean. My favorites from this house are Layton and Carlisle. Thanks for the opportunity. FL, USA.

  • wallygator88 says:

I really like like Sebastien’s enthusiasm for the labadanum and patchouli notes in this scent.

I unfortunately have not smelt aPDM perfume before.

    Love from Madison, WI, USA

  • Parfums de Marly became a top notch brand in such a short period of time . Amber like smell, with prominent patchouli, woods and reminiscents of incense combinations we all love. My expectations for Nisean are really high right now.
Personally I know Parfums de Marly for Herod. One of the best fragrances in my relatively small for Sebastian standards close to 90 bottles collection . Makes me feel like I’m THE king of the castle Haha
Appreciate the review , and the giveaway campaign
    USA

  • I love Sebastian’s review especially when he said the fragrance is all about patchouli and he’s best friends with patchouli. I though that was funny. And as a deep dark and rich fragrance, it’s great for the cooler weather.
    This is definitely my favorite.

  • alphakay1488 says:

Another great review from Sebastian. I appreciate how he goes much more in-depth with his reviews, not talking just about “compliments” like 99% of YouTubers do these days, but the actual artistic values of the scent.

  • I enjoyed Sebastian’s review as always. Nisean does indeed seem like a somewhat overlooked gem. Love those notes. I’ve only ever sampled some of the Parfums de Marly, so I can’t say I have a favorite. Thanks for the draw and an enjoyable review. I’m in the USA

  • I love Sebastian’s reviews! He always does an great job describing the different notes and letting us know what to expect with these fragrances. I’m a big fan of all of these notes, so i’m quite interested in this fragrance. I’m in the USA.

  • I’d like to try Nisean and many other PDM. Woody fragrance with spice and sweetness. Enjoyed the review and thank you for the draw. Ca

  • Excellent review by Sebastian and I loved his description of the Nisean! I love that it is spicy, smokey, and warm. I love fragrances with patchouli and labdanum notes. I know this is perfect for fall and winter. Thanks for the giveaway and I live in the US!

  • IvanVelikov says:

When I think Parfums de Marly I always think Pegasus . Sure PdM do have all kinds of quality of top quality fragrances like Oajan , Herod and Layton , and the new star Kalan ,  but I do not get how Pegasus is getting so little attention. As much as I like the other 3 I’ve mentioned , my 125ml bottle of Pegasus I cherish most. Smells fantastic , lasts over 10 hours on skin , and projects beyond strong – fills a room . Compliments galore too.
Just like Pegasus,  Nisean is underrated too. I had the pleasure of smelling it at at Luckyscent,  and just in case bought a sample.  It’s really opulent combination of patchouli,  resins,  woods and fruity incense sticks . I like to burn tropical fruits incense sticks I get from Amazon , and something in Nisean reminds me of the burning fruity incense sticks.
I so want to win a bottle,  thank you.

  • I really like Parfums de Marly, Sebastians review was great, very detailed description of all the notes. I am interested in trying more resinous fragrances.
