Parfums Artimique Jasmin Gyokuro is an intoxicating scent that embodies the essence of sultry summers, jasmine in bloom. Jasmine’s captivating scent haunts the air, creating an atmosphere filled with tension and desire. Perfumer Cristiano Canali has skillfully composed a fresh and nuanced interpretation of this classic floral fragrance style. It’s no small feat to create a jasmine-centred perfume. Parfums Artimique has succeeded giving use something unique and is a Finalist in the Independent Category for the prestigious Art and Olfaction Awards 2024.

Parfums Artimique Jasmin Gyokuro perfectly captures the essence of jasmine at dusk, transitioning from a fresh, vibrant soft floral scent to a more intoxicating and alluring aroma as the day fades into night. Jasmin Gyokuro has a clever contemporary twist that incorporates a delicate touch of Japanese Kawaii, evolving from a playful innocence to a sultry sophistication, encapsulating the wild beauty of jasmine flowers in a fresh way.

A burst of fresh juicy pear and soft citrus aroma flows from Parfums Artimique Jasmin Gyokuro as it envelops you. It feels as though you’ve taken a bite of a ripe pear, releasing its succulent juices filled with a gentle floral haze that seems to radiate a soft sunshine. There are hints of green and soft woody undertones lingering beneath, as a bouquet of warm blossoms bloom with an intoxicating floral scent. Even without the Gyokuro tea reference, there’s a distinctly Japanese vibe to Jasmin Gyokuro, with the fresh pear evoking thoughts of fruity drinks and delicious deserts while subtle green tea notes begin to shine through with a delicate grassy feel that is strangely creamy in a delightful way. Slowly the pear infuses its essence into the jasmine petals, conjuring a softly sensual crushed silk sensation, while tuberose whispers of innocent buttery skin. This combination enriches the jasmine, making it delicate yet voluptuous; exuding a refined airy elegance and grace with a soft honeyed mimosa like floral wrapping it in a powdery, golden veil. The pear warms up alongside Tiare flower, smoothing out the texture of the petals, creating a silk-like feel warmed by the skin, as clean and hazy musks enhance the richness of the jasmine, evoking a gentle narcotic haze as if the sun is setting. Subtle flashes of grassy greens add depth to this beautifully abstract floral experience, exuding a stunning refined delicacy reminiscent of Japanese porcelain, with a smoothness that feels like the glaze on porcelain cups, while musky notes create a soft, intoxicating steam of green jasmine tea rising. The fragrance delicately blends fruity and green notes, allowing the florals to merge into a deliciously musky, warm, light golden haze.

As the dry down settles,  a delicate blend of floral and musky notes envelops my skin, exuding an alluring and gentle aura. The prominent floral elements gracefully intertwine with subtle aromatic hits, creating a shimmering sensation of greenery. The addition of sweet vegetal tea-like tones gives a captivating twist to the already creamy and dreamy floral composition. Although the pear freshness and texture take a backseat now, it still contributes to the luxurious sensation of crushed silk from the intoxicating haze of jasmine petals.

The deep dry down makes the gentle warmth of summer’s sun emanate from your skin, enveloping you in a soft, musky glow as the floral notes of Jasmin Gyokuro blend seamlessly into a delicate honeyed musk. Vetiver adds a subtle smoky rooty richness to this musky scent, with hints of peppery aromatics that transform the yellowed floral haze into a slightly green hue. There’s a touch of earthiness and rootiness in the musk, reminiscent of ambrette seeds, as the fragrance evolves throughout the day, like petals fading into a buttery sunset. Jasmin Gyokuro leaves you with a lingering embrace of musky florals that feels irresistibly romantic, like a hug that promises more… it’s a joy to wear on a warm or hot day, especially as that musky sensual dry down envelops you as it takes you on a journey from the fresh playful opening to that magic musky dry down. I’m very excited to see where Parfums Artimique takes us next!

I happen to love jasmine. I know it’s one of those notes some people love and some others hate but on the spring/summer jasmine is such a beautiful note on florals. Now, never have I ever tried Gyokuro tea or any tea fragrance really so this one is certainly intriguing me. I know tea fragrance typically lean green and refreshing but this one seems to have a more airy texture due to the musk and root notes. I always love getting to know new houses and I also cannot wait for what Parfums Artimique comes up with next. It’s been super hot where I live these last few days so like J said, I want to be enveloped in a sensual, musky bubble. Cheers from the US.

Jasmine, tea, fresh juicy pear and soft citrus- I would call this composition the quintessential summer bliss on the skin, and J makes me visualize it, makes me want it, makes me dream of honeyed musk playing with head!

    Greetings from sunny Lisbon, Portugal.

  • This fresh, but gentle and musky jasmine makes me swoon. Enriched with delicate touches of fruit and tea and sweetening into honeyed musky notes, I think Parfums Artimique managed to create a fragrance for any and every white floral lover.

  • Some of my favorite fragrances pair tea and flowers. Very interested to see how jasmine works in this. From the USA.

  • The description of the notes like soft musky glow really sparked my interest about this perfume and appealed to me. I live in Trzebnic, Poland, EU.

  • Floral, earthy, a hug that promises more … Yes I think I would love this jasmin- tea fragrance by Parfums Artimiqiue! Thank you for this generous draw. I live in NH, USA.

What a beautiful scent story this reviewer describes, of love and longing. The jasmine forward fragrance is appealing with pear and green tea accompanying. And the dry down sounds devine. I live in Oregon.

  • Interesting. I’ve been really into green tea notes. I’ve also been into jasmine notes as my jasmine plant just stopped blooming. Romanza by Canali has been my Spring wear too.

  • J’s review of Parfums Artimique Jasmin Gyokuro captivated me with its vivid imagery and detailed scent descriptions, making me feel as if I could actually experience the fragrance through their words. The seamless transition from playful freshness to a sultry, musky dry down was particularly intriguing, reflecting a sophisticated complexity that appeals to my love for layered perfumes. Additionally, the integration of Japanese elements and the description of the tea-like notes added a unique cultural depth that sets this fragrance apart.

  • I have always been a sucker for pretty and sensual flower perfumes and I think its not easy to create one that brings something new to the table. White flowers are either hit or miss, very often perfumes with big bold notes fall into redundant category. But I am intrigued about Jasmin Gyokuro, thanks to the pairing of jasmine with pear. Pear is a note that I truly enjoy in perfumes, which is surprisingly to me, because I dont like pears as food in real life. But Js impression of ”evoking a gentle narcotic haze as if the sun is setting” had me hooked.

  • I have been seeking a jasmine fragrance and this might be it. The sensual jasmine and tuberose with the freshness of the citrus, green tea and earthiness. I haven’t been to Japan yet, and this may transport me there.

  • bread1000000 says:

There’s something special about jasmine in fragrance especially when combined with a tea accord. I found it really cool how the review illustrates how different notes interact with each other, as it’s often difficult to read a note pyramid and accurately imagine what it could smell like. Thank you for the review!

Yes, please! A solar scent! A summer scent. “A hug that promises more”. I want it. And from the maker of Odenaturae… bliss. Plus, the bottle looks so beautiful. Writing from Romania

  • I would really like to win this perfume, I love jasmine my favorite is Jasmin de pays by Ellena for Perris Monte Carlo but I don’t like jasmines that are too feminine like Jasmin antique by Rogue and Jasmin de Toscane by Jacques Fath, they too reminiscent of strawberries. I love Cristiano Canali’s work, his best for me is Romanza for Masque Milano but I also love Bee for Zoologist and Fundamental by Rubini, plus Cristiano is so cute! I like when J wearscentient says: Jasmin Gyokuro is an intoxicating scent that embodies the essence of sultry summers, jasmine in bloom. I like it a fresh, natural jasmine scent. • Wow, to be a finalist! This must be some jasmine perfume. I’m really starting to enjoy white florals, and summer is the perfect time to do so. In maryland.

  • Jasmine started to bloom in my garden, but it’s still shy. Until the fragrant blooms will open their delicate flowers, I try to picture what Jasmin Gyokuro smells like – the mix between greeness, that beautiful mix of flowers (oh, tuberose, my love) and the earthiness in the background must be utter beauty.
Thank you for the review and the draw, from Europe.

  • This has been on my to-try list for a while now. This sounds like a joy to wear from start to end. I was particularly struck by the description of a “sensual crushed silk sensation”, the “soft honeyed mimosa like floral wrapping it in a powdery, golden veil”, and the drydown evoking the “gentle warmth of summer’s sun”. It sounds sublime. I’m in the UK.

  • Jasmine Gyokuro seems like a delicate, feminine fragrance perfect for spring and summer. I love green tea notes and the three floral absolutes look like they are top quality. The juicy pear and sensual musks make this a very appealing fragrance. MD, USA.

  • Oh, Jasmine perfumes are my favorites. In this one I liked the fact that the addition of sweet vegetal tea-like tones gives a captivating twist to the already creamy and dreamy floral composition.

  • What a captivating review! The way you describe Parfums Artimique Jasmin Gyokuro’s transformation from a fresh, juicy pear opening to a sophisticated, musky dry down is truly mesmerizing. I love the blend of playful innocence and sultry sophistication, and the subtle Japanese Kawaii influence sounds delightful. The imagery of jasmine at dusk transitioning into an intoxicating aroma as the day fades into night is beautifully evocative. I’m especially intrigued by the unique combination of green tea notes with floral and musky elements, creating a fragrance that is both fresh and elegantly romantic. Can’t wait to experience this sensory journey myself!

  • J Wearescentient’s review of Parfums Artimique Jasmin Gyokuro really caught my attention with its vivid descriptions and sensory imagery. The transition from the fresh, juicy pear and citrus opening to the intoxicating jasmine heart, and finally the warm, musky dry down, sounds like a beautifully orchestrated journey. I’m particularly intrigued by the delicate touch of Japanese Kawaii and the creamy green tea notes that add a unique twist to the fragrance. The depiction of jasmine petals infused with a pear essence and wrapped in a powdery, golden veil creates such a luxurious and romantic aura. This review has definitely piqued my interest in experiencing the fragrance firsthand!

  • I absolutely love the sound of this as it combines my love of Jasmine and tea, plus I lost my heart to Japan so Jasmin Gyokuro is calling to me. I am also intrigued by the pear note. Everything is crossed I am in UK.

  • I generally admire the sophisticated fragrances created by Cristiano Canali, for example, the enticing Romanza from Masque Milano or Fundamental by Rubini. As I’m always fascinated by the scent of Jasmine blooms and finding so few captivating jasmine-centred perfumes, I can’t wait to see what Canali has composed.
This review is superbly written, bravo!! I love all of it, but this part specifically is gorgeous: “This combination enriches the jasmine, making it delicate yet voluptuous; exuding a refined airy elegance and grace with a soft honeyed mimosa like floral wrapping it in a powdery, golden veil.”
Many thanks for this generous draw. I live in France

  • Congratulations on being a Finalist in the Independent Category for the prestigious Art and Olfaction Awards 2024! That’s wonderful and I am sure well deserved judging from the notes, this review and your previous fragrance Shower & Smoke. I love love love that you used Angelica Root in the formula to ground and balance with a bit of green the sweet Tiare and Jasmine. And Haitian Vetiver has a crispy brightness balanced with a dry smokiness that’s just perfect. The Gyokuro tea accord sounds amazing. I truly cannot wait to try this!!! Oh fragrance faeries direct it my way pleaaasseeeee!!
I am located in California. Thank you for the chance to win.

  • aurora_ru says:

I feel attracted to this description as a fresh and nuanced interpretation of classic Jasmin theme. Sound very summery, if it starts with a burst of fresh juicy pear and soft citrus aroma, continues with floral theme and oft sunshine. But mostly I feel attracted to Gyokuro Tea, that is very interesting nuance.
I live in the EU, please count me in!

  • There are many excellent Jasmine perfumes out there, so I was curious reading about Jasmin Gyokuro to learn how Canali played with the form. The pear and jasmine tea aspects sound wonderful, and also wearable, with a creamy texture and grassy, vegetal notes. J describes it as a “deliciously musky, warm, light golden haze.” Jasmin Gyokuro sounds like a wonderfully calming jasmine for warm weather.

  • oliviatworkowsky says:

I love how there is notes of florals combined with deep rich musky notes to the fragrance, it sounds like a divine blend and one that would be perfect for summer!

I also love the fact that it has a little bit of a creaminess from almost what was described as a silkiness with a haze of jasmine petals to the fragrance that sounds absolutely phenomenal, I would love to try out this fragrance. It sounds amazing!

I live in the EU and would like to take part in the draw, thank you for the chance!

  • Wow!! What a lovely review!
I grow pink jasmine in my backyard. It is wonderful, especially late in the day, when the fragrance is at its peak.
A scent starting with a ‘burst of fresh juicy pear and soft citrus aroma’ that flows into a ‘dreamy floral composition’.
    That sounds amazing!
    Thanks for the drawing.
