I don’t want to do a spoiler; Chaney’s 400 + page annotated book on the life of Coco Chanel was the most fascinating (and here are some of the reasons’ why):
Dzhari was the best of these six fragrances in the Phaedon collection. This felt like a trip to a desert caravansary courtesy of M Guillaume as first you walk by a pile of dates; rich opulent fruit redolent of dark places.
The perfumer behind Judith Leiber Topaz is Hugh Spencer. Mr. Spencer clearly has an understanding of the designer he was creating a fragrance for. Topaz works from an opulent oud base which is adorned with fruity floral bling.
This was a generation that was grateful to be American; who learned how to stuff a turkey, prepare a sweet potato pie & Black Friday meant an off color joke from the day before. TY to a Swedish retailer for a Happy Thanks Giving Draw
