NEW FRAGRANCES REVIEW The Different Company L’Esprit Cologne Collection: Mme Emilie Coppermann’s Colognes
I was particularly intrigued by the four colognes which make up the new The Different Company L’Esprit Cologne Collection. The perfumer who created all four of these new colognes is Emilie Coppermann. Clearly, Luc Gabriel, the owner of The Different Company turned Mme Coppermann loose to create freely and the result is a collection which once again helps to redefine what a cologne is.

The final triptych of notes add the element of “elegant decay” she wanted as she combines cepes, ambergris, and oud. As in the heart Ms. Aftel shows how something unexpected can be coaxed out of notes you think you know as an aficionado. All together it makes for a supernatural experience.
NEW FRAGRANCE REVIEW: BOND No.9 I Love NY for Fathers & I Love NY for Marriage Equality
Bond No.9 has added two more scents to their “I Love NY” line. These are the sixth, For Fathers, and seventh, For Marriage Equality, fragrances in a line that will eventually number fifteen. Many of our perfumista brothers and sisters roll their eyes, sigh and say “Really? Two more are out…already?” I am here to tell you that both of these fragrances are worth trying.
