This was a great year for perfume. I think there are no less than five fragrances I see being library quality fragrances in my collection
Late last year, Giorgio Armani released Acqua di Gio Essenza. It was to be a more streamlined updated version of the original. Part of me was very excited to try this another part was a little afraid to smell it and be disappointed. Alberto Morillas did not let me down
M. Jerome Epinette told me that, “Instead of using the usual commercial and synthetic notes like Calone; I thought to use Star Anise from China to give the fresh salty and watery effect to the fragrance.”
A 100-milliter bottle of L’Wren Scott sells for $195.00. Is it worth the high price tag? Only you, your nose and your wallet can determine that. Dance on over to Barney’s and experience it for yourself. Do I think it’s a classy, sexy, quirky, likable fragrance? I do.
