New to the Native collection which celebrates the indigenous flora of Australia, Pacific Rock Flower by Goldfield & Banks captures the wild splendor of Australia’s coastal flora. Goldfield & Banks Creative Director Dimitri Weber and Robertet Perfumer Emilie Bouge built a fragrance ‘around the native Coastal Tea Tree, a plant known for its delicate white blooms and resilience against wind and salt.

Goldfield & Banks Pacific Rock Flower was composed using this essential oil, known for its eucalyptus-tinged freshness and natural clarity. Pacific Rock Flower blends sea air and florals in a bright, free-spirited composition. Complemented by creamy floral notes, a salty ocean accord, and warm woods, the perfume mirrors the rhythm of the tide meeting the land.’

According to a post on Instagram Dimitri Weber wrote, “It’s probably one of the most complex perfumes in Our Collection.” via brand copy and my own synopsis -Michelyn

  • What a nice notes, I love Coral flower (peony) and Tuberose. Great review Steve.

  • Ann Banks says:

    Well!…We are here again.
I have not the pleasure of having a Goldfield and Banks fragrance in my collection. However, after listening to Stephens description ( which had me at both Mimosa and Peony)….I was sold.
This sounds like the epitome of a Warm, breezy summers day would smell like. The kind of day with a flowing, flower printed long dress, sandals and allowing the sun to taste my skin. #Perfect

  • I was intrigued that he mentioned the sandalwood had a fig/coconut vibe which are some of my favorite notes in fragrance. Can’t wait to try.

    I love Sunset Hour!!

  • As always, another great review from Steve. Reading this I can almost smell it. I definitely want to try this

  • As soon as Steven said that this fragrance had Peony in it, I was sold! Peony is my favorite flower in perfumery and I love Goldfield and Banks perfume! I own Bohemian Lime, as I enjoy citrus forward perfumes as well. I have over 300 bottles of perfume and Id love to add this latest rendition to my collection, thanks to a wonderful review by Steven of Redolessence, as he totally impressed me with his knowledge of Pacific Rock Flower in his video!

  • I only own Sunset Hour but would love to try more from this house. This scent sounds so beautiful and inviting and perfect for the warmer months. Can’t wait to get my nose on this.

  • Thank you Steven for the amazing you tube review! It sounds right up my alley unique, playful you described it as summery without being tropical I wish I can win a bottle of this beauty ! I have always being curious about the brand but never tried it before! Being a perfume enthusiast what I am looking now in a fragrance is something unique, but beautiful at the same time and that smells good

  • Ramses Perez says:

I have never smelled the original Pacific Rock Moss but I have heard it is a very unique fragrance. This one seems to go on a similar direction but with a flower twist instead. I like that Steven mentioned it’s creamy on top of the floral aspect as many men may not want to try it based on that, but always sample. Mimosa is not a note you see often so I think this one will be very unique. My favorite Goldfield & Banks fragrance is still Silky Woods. Many thanks to Kintessence for the giveaway and I’m located in the USA.

  • Jenna Park says:

Wow Peony mimosa and sandalwood sexy summer fragrance where do I sign up. Pacific Rock Flower sounds unique and beautiful. I love the way Steven gives a review. He gives you the vibe of the fragrance the best season and occasion to wear it. It sounds like a scent I would really enjoy. Steven describes it as playful and summery my type of scent. I love Goldfield & Banks Mystic Bliss so I’m really looking forward to wearing this. Mystic Bliss would be my favorite from the house. The bottle looks stunning as well. I’m in Pennsylvania USA

  • Great review of Pacific Rock flower Steven! This perfume sounds amazing! I love the smell of the Peony flowers. And your description of it makes it sound so beautiful and sexy! I would love to add this to my perfume collection.

  • This sounds like a great way to put Australia’s coasts in a bottle. The notes sound great and would definitely transport you across the world!

  • thenotfamousCHER says:

Firstly, thank you for not only a chance to experience this wonderful fragrance but for creating it! Your description of it is amazing and I have to say it contains many of my favorite notes. I have recently been on the search for my scent…a scent that represents who I am and have been really enjoying the fragrances along my way. I haven’t found it yet and that’s okay because it’s the journey I love most…your fragrance sounds amazing and will hopefully be one I can add to my fragrance journey! Many blessings!

  • Sounds like a beautiful creamy floral woody scent that would be perfect for the summer. Another great review by Steven. Always so detailed and descriptive! Love Ingenious Ginger! Usa

  • Pamela Skinner says:

I am Such a Big fan of fragrance related content. With Steven describing it as a Sensual and Sexy fragrance, I would Love to have a bottle of Pacific Rock Flower so I can smell my Absolute Best!

  • teatreesoil says:

oh, i appreciate this timely review! i’ve seen the official goldfield & banks marketing campaign but as a non-australian, i didn’t know what the australian coastal tea tree would smell like! i would never have expected eucalyptus in the opening, and peony is not a flower i associated with australia either LOL
stephen’s comparison of pacific rock flower to pacific rock moss (my favorite of the goldfield & banks fragrances that i’ve tried) is helpful (in that pacific rock flower is florals focused vs citrus focused like pacific rock moss).
i know exactly what he means when he compares pacific rock moss to light blue while also clarifying that they dont smell the same, while i found it interesting that stephen couldn’t think of a similar fragrance for pacific rock flower. some fragrances defy comparison though (at least in the current market, before dupes come out), so i’m even more curious about pacific rock flower now!

    thanks

  • James Killebrew says:

Steven from Redolessence has been my go to reviewer for 5 years now, and since I purchased the Goldfield and Banks sample box and full bottle of Pacific Rock Moss, I’m dying to try the new flanker! Thanks for the opportunity to own a full bottle

  • thefragrantcritique says:

I’m a HUGE G&B fan and I can’t wait to get my nose on this. You’ve moved this one to the top of my list! Right now my fav G&B is Sunset Hour.

  • So interesting… The notes translating as something else? Especially when that something is fig *heart eyes* I coincidentally have Mystic Bliss sitting in my wishlist but I might need to include Pacific Rock Flower!

  • This fragrance sounds amazing! No one can describe scents better than @REDOLESSENCE! I can envision each note as if I’m actually smelling them. Goldfield & Banks Pacific Rock Flower is the ONE Penrod signature fragrance i have been seeking! I hope to be the winner of this beautiful masterpiece. Thank you @cafleurebonofficial; @redolessence; @goldfield_and_banks_australia for the opportunity.

  • Great review Steve. I think my mother will really like this fragrance. I really need to get my nose on this fragrance house.

  • ohhhhhh this sounds sooooo beautiful and summery! i LOVE peony notes and this one is definitely on the list to try!

  • Melissa K says:

This is a new house for me, but I am intrigued by the notes. I love a salty, floral scent with a sandalwood finish. This sounds amazing! Kentucky USA

  • Adamae2004 says:

Love the way Steven describes this perfume as floral, citrusy, aquatic, fresh & juicy! And he he really got me when he mentioned, Sexy for Spring and Summer? I’m very intrigued, as it sounds like notes that provoke that happy feeling? I love fragrances that uplift, and make you feel happy!
The perfume that I’ve owned by your brand was Sunset Hour, which is truly unforgettable!♡

  • I was interested as soon as I saw this one released. I love how Steven highlighted the creamy floral nature of this fragrance & that it is not the same as the original. My current favorite fragrance from Goldfield & Banks is Desert Rosewood, in fact it is my SOTD!

  • Brandon Rodriguez says:

Fantastic review, explaining a mimosa peony fragrance. This citrus floral combination done in a unique way. The salty and creamy sandalwood seems complex and perfect for this upcoming summer in the northeast. Would love to win this one. Smelled bohemian lime chat has been my favorite so far
