Italian Maitre Parfumeur Maria Candida Gentile will be adding two new fragrances to her eponymous Classic line: Finisterre and Noir Tropical- two very different scents, one spiritual and the other sensual.
Cape Finisterre (Galician: Cabo Fisterra)
Finisterre was inspired by the Way of St.James, the pilgrimage route to the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela in Galicia in northwestern Spain, where tradition has it that the remains of the Apostle Saint James are buried. There is a ritual where the travelers bathe in the ocean, burns the garment they wore and take a shell from the sea as a remembrance of the experience. The name Finisterre is from the rock-bound peninsula on the west coast of Galicia, Spain-Cabo Fisterra
