For her ART COLLECTION 2013, Mme Micallef was inspired by Art Deco design which first appeared in France in the 1920s. ROUGE N°1 and ROUGE N°2 combine geometrical figures, cubic cap and bottle, adorned with circular shaped Swarovski Crystal Rocks.

“Each  flacon is hand painted with metal touches, gold or silver, representative of Art Deco, and enhanced with glitters and a large red crystal stone. To symbolize gourmand and sensual notes of the fragrances duo, I have chosen a deep red, a real passion red.” Martine Micallef explains.

they have become much more frequent with releases..they used to take time in the past before releasing a new fragrance

  • I find this packaging very exciting! That color!!!!
Both scents sound amazing to me. I would have trouble
choosing one over the other! I like M. Micallef, so I will
want to sample these in July.

  • My first thought is that they look more like Christmas than summer to me. I can’t quite tell, are those shells on the package? Of course, if I fell in loveI’d wear them any day. Rouge #2 sounds especially yummy.

  • The bottles look beautiful, bet the fragrances are wonderful also. Micallef creates the most beautiful bottles, they look like artwork on your dresser. You definitely get what you pay for 🙂
