New Fragrance: AVENTUS by CREED

The official press release states that Olivier CREED is the nose for Aventus, the new fragrance for men  celebrates the House of CREED's 150th birthday, we have it on good authority that it the House's heir, 7th generation Erwin CREED  that formulated this "Eau de" to  Napoleon, the Corsican general who became  Emperor of France in 1814.

 

 

 

According to the press release, "Aventus is created by hand from ingredients from the life and rise of Napoleon". The composition:

 

Top Note: Blackcurrant from sunny Corsica, where Napoleon was born.  Bergamot from Italy, site of victories that made him famous.  Calville Blanc apples of France, where he rose to be emperor.  Royal pineapple, Napoleon’s favorite palace dessert.

 

Middle Note:  Napoleon Roses.  Louisana birch, the wood of his throne.  Jasmine from Egypt, where his empire reached.  Exotic patchouli, valued for scent -– and health.

 

Base Note: Oak moss from Spain, which Napoleon conquered.  Ambergris from the seas, to show the strength of his navy.  Gourmand vanilla in the French style signals the touch of high living Napoleon enjoyed.

  • Might be a must. We'll sniff and see. I can not believe I have not made it over to the CREED boutique on Mad. No excuse. Must rectify that as soon as possible. Any company that supports an equestrian endeavor scores extra points!
