Nasomatto Duro, Pardon and Fantomas (Alessandro Gualtieri) + The 3 You Should Be Wearing Giveaway

Alessandro Gualtieri of Nasomatto

Alessandro Gualtieri via Twisted Lily

Nasomatto Perfumes has quite a few fans in the fragrance world and was founded in 2007 by perfumer Alessandro Gualtieri (Nasomatto means ‘crazy nose’ in Italian). Alessandro created Nasomatto after being frustrated throughout his years working as a perfumer creating for brands like Diesel and Versace. Experimental, daring, artistic… there has always been a great deal of mystery surrounding his perfumes because, he never wanted to list notes;  instead have the wearer experience each extrait (the official website does not list notes, but over at Twisted Lily, they do, so I am including them).

Nasomatto Duro (2008): was the first fragrance in the Nasomatto collection, launched in 2007. Duro means ‘hard’ in Italian. Duro can be described as a ‘woody’ scent and was created to celebrate masculinity. Notes per Twisted Lily-Top: Almond, cinnamon, spice; Heart: Heliotropine, orris, patchouli, white flower; Base: Animalic, balm, cedar, leather

Nasomatto Pardon (2011): This is the only perfume in Steven’s three you should be wearing I have worn. I believe when it was first created, it was an ode to masculine elegance, but I find it very gender fluid. It opens with a touch of dark, rich wood, oud, and incense, together with a nice lemony floral aroma from the magnolia. As the richness and complexity of the scent takes hold, a certain gourmand character becomes evident (possibly chocolate, vanilla and tonka) enhanced by the warmth of cinnamon and other spices.-Michelyn

Notes per Twisted Lily-Top: Aldehyde, cinnamon, mandarin; Heart: Magnolia; Base: Agarwood, black chocolate, cedar, musk, sandalwood, smoke, tonka, vanilla

Nasomatto Fantomas (2020) was inspired by one of the most popular and villainous characters in French  crime fiction. Alessandro Gualtieri collected all of the movies and comics about Fantomas growing up. For this scent, he wanted to interpret a scene where Fantomas is traveling up into mountains and you switch back and forth from being able to see and not see the car.

Notes per Twisted Lily-Top: Rubber, plastic, melon; Heart: Smoke, gun powder, caramel, sweet candy accords; Base: Earthy notes, cashmeran, tropical fruit, patchouli

I enjoyed that Steven mentioned his exoerience with other Nasomatto fragrances from 3 of this article.

If I win this giveaway, I would like to recieved Pardon.

  • sammyscents says:

Like you stated in the video, nasamatto fragrances last a long time and project well. I love Baraonda. I would love a bottle of Duro. I enjoy spices and leather as well.

  • I love Stevens passion and enthusiasm in his videos. Nasomatto has long been one of my favorite brands and I would be most interested in duro!

  • First, inform most thanks to you, your team and Twistedlily for the opportunity to enter this giveaway.
Not long ago I was only purchasing designer fragrances from the mall. Thanks to Vloggers like Steven I’ve been exposed to a whole new world. The information he shares is so useful & informative. I’m always learn about different houses, fragrances, vast array of notes, etc. and I love living vicariously thru him, as if I were in his scent room sniffing thru his collection. Lol. I’d love to have all 3 Nasomattos cents, but if I had to choose the first one that I would select would PARDON. The combination of Stevens review and Michelyns descriptions have me intrigued to try a sample.I love mysterious & dark scents. especially ones with longevity & it’s got a lil chocolate in it too. Sounds like me if I were a scent. Hoping 8/13 is my lucky day as I’d love to wear this scent this fall. Again thanks for the opportunity and all of the great content.
    Have a great day.

  • I always love Steven’s vivid descriptions of fragrances. Nasomatto is a house I’ve always wanted to explore in more depth. The one fragrance of theirs that I’ve sampled happens to be Pardon, which I love and have always intended to get a bottle of it. Steven’s praise for it matches my experience of it. In particular, I love its use of magnolia, a note that is too rarely used in masculine-leaning fragrances (imo). At any rate, if I were to win, it’s Pardon that I’d want. I’m in Oklahoma, USA, and also follow y’all on Instagram

  • I love watching his reviews in general because of his passion of fragrances and how he speaks of them but this one was different for me. He showed a bit more nostalgia towards these and really made me feel like I’m missing out on some of these fragrances. If I win I would love to have Pardon.

  • Not long ago I sampled Pardon and I agree with everything Steven said about it. Sexy, alluring, sultry, and a real gem. Also with exceptional performance. I would definitely choose Pardon out of these three. Thank you to TwistedLily for all the giveaways.!

  • I own many from Nasomatto including Black Afgano, Duro, and Baraonda. I have smelled Fantomas and it, indeed, has a prominent melon note and earthy vibes, too. My choice for this draw is Pardon. I am in USA.

  • Emil Skard-Garberg says:

Currently own Pardon, Silver Musk and Absinth. My next purchase will be Duro, and I would love to win a bottle, as this are not cheap – by any means – but so worth every single penny.

  • Have not had a chance to check out Nasomatto house yet! I’ll get there one of these days! Great review and article as always!

  • I own Baronda and I’ve been eying Duri because of the leather but Steven’s description of how elegant Pardon is and Michelyn’s description parallels the sentiment, also it containg Oud and Incense I’m sold. Pardon I would love to own.

  • Nasomatto is an iconic brand in modern niche perfumery. I have had the pleasure of experiencing several of their offering throughout the years and they are showstoppers. I agree wholeheartedly with Michelyn’s thoughts on Pardon, it is incredibly rich and has several traditionally masculine notes, but could easily be worn by anyone. it is a truly perfect fragrance for fall. I appreciated Steven’s thoughts on Fantomas. I have yet to try that one and it sounds incredibly unique, like most of their other scents. The rubber and ink-like facets sound really cool, as do the enigmatic “foggy” vibes Steven mentioned. As interesting as it sounds, I think that I would certainly have to sample it first. That said, if I were chosen for the giveaway, I would go with Pardon. It’s so delicious and has been on my “short list” of frags to buy for a very long time. Best of luck to everyone. I follow on Insta, my handle is thearronq. I live in NC, USA.

  • Such an exciting and unique house. I need to get my nose on the perfumes soon. Should the stars align for me and I win, I would like to bring home Pardon. Thank you.

  • liquidasset77 says:

Fantomas has to be one of the most strikingly enigmatic fragrances I’ve encountered. The scent of rubber and Melon have enticed me to purchase this scent for a couple years. Smoky sweet plastic, what a visionary he is as a perfumer. i can always count on Steven to nail a perceptive to a fragrance. great review .

  • hippononamus says:

Nasomatto’s Hindu Grass is among my favorite scents ever and is sadly discontinued. The perfect patchouli. I once had a sample of Pardon from Aedes I could smell through the bag, but I eventually gave it away to a friend with a dozen others before trying. I like how versatile Steven makes it out to be and the fact that he’s worn it for over a decade. The magnolia sounds lovely too and that’s something I wouldn’t have picked up without wearing. I’ve also heard the Hindu Grass was a bit of a precursor to some of Alessandro’s other scents, so I’d pick Pardon as my choice. I’m in the US and follow CaFleureBon on Instagram as well.

  • I’ve been wanting to try Nasomatto for a while! I can tell Steven really loves this house and sounds like he has a real history with them. Being that Pardon is the “gem of the collection,” according to Steven this would be my choice. I follow on IG as @flavasauce. Thank you from Brooklyn, NY!

  • I love Nasomatto! Steven’s video reminded me that I still plan to get a few more full bottles from the brand. I own Baraonda and Black Afgano and these are my absolute favorites. Euro and Pardon were close second but I never got them. I still have to try new fragrances like Fantomas and Sadonaso. I think it’s pretty interesting Alessandro doesn’t really disclose the notes and all of these are just our impressions. Out of these thee my pick is Pardon for are because I remember loving it and the woody chocolaty combination is just divine. I’m from Illinois, US.

  • I loved Steven’s in-depth description of these fragrances; of the three, I’ve sampled Fantomas which I love. I love the story described here. I would love to win Pardon.

  • Many thanks to Steven for the great reviews of these Nasomatto fragrances! I’ve not had a chance to try the brand but they all sound so unique and interesting. The one that speaks to me the most is Duro – I love how Steven described it as dark and leathery and mysterious. I’m from MN and I follow you on Instagram @ra7chel.

  • The review made me want to try all three, and I only have a few Nasomatto’s that have been loves for me. I currently own and love Absinthe, but it’s not good in hot weather. Pardon sounds utterly fabulous with Fall headed our way, and as that’s my favorite time of year, that’s what I would choose. I live in the USA.

  • mrlontemusic says:

WOW………..What can I say about the Brand Nasomatto…ALL GOOD THINGS as I am an owner of Pardon….Lovely, Lovely Chocolate masterpiece…..Very informative interview Steven on these 3 selection from the house of Nasomatto. Myself personally, I want to try Fantomas so hopefully I will be the WINNER this time around. Blessings

  • Steven is a guiding light for my fragrance journey, he’s responsible for so many scents that I own now. I don’t own a Nasamatto, but hopefully I’m able to change that soon. Pardon honestly sounds like a winter dream to me, I hope I get to try it soon! Thanks for the giveaway, guys… I reside in US.

  • Dannon C Vick says:

I really enjoy the more “of the radar” reviews that Reddolesecents does such as these. So many great works might otherwise get overlooked.

    For the entry – Duro

  • RonaldProkes17 says:

I loved how affectionately Steven spoke about the brand and how Duro was one of his first fragrance reviews. I remember watching his joint videos with Carlos (RIP) and how much knowledge they had about fragrances. Anyway, I am actually intrigued by Fantomas. Not just because I used to watch the film adaptations where he was the villain, but also because the perfume sounds so unique, which is what Nasomatto are so good at as a house. I love the melon note combined with the darker more mysterious atmosphere the perfume evokes and as Steven described. I think it’s such an original composition and would love to experience it myself.
Needless to say I would like to win Fantomas and I am located in the US.

  • Currently own Pardon, Silver Musk and Absinth. My next purchase will be Duro, and I would love to win a bottle, as this are not cheap – by any means – but so worth every single penny.

  • Pardon sounds perfect, if I’m lucky! Steven called it a gem and seductive. I liked the description of chocolate and magnolia. Thanks for another awesome review and draw. Mich USA

  • I’m consistently captivated by Steven’s vibrant portrayals of fragrances. Delving deeper into the realm of Nasomatto is an aspiration I’ve nurtured for quite some time, as it’s an iconic brand. My desire is to acquire the fragrance named Pardon and embrace it in my collection. New Jersey, USA

  • I would like to win the Pardon because of the video description for it. This would be the first from the house I tried. US

  • Coming from Steven’s video. I love this house. My favorites from Nasomatto are Pardon, Black Afghano, and Duro.
I haven’t tried the new one yet but it sounds good. Hopefully I can win the giveaway

  • I dont own a Nasomatto Fragrances yet, but my wishlist this year is to own Fantomas, which i really adore the melon note and invisible character in this scent which makes you feel powerful and happy. Fingers crossed to win this scent! And hopefully to add in my collection and review it on my youtube channel!

  • I own Megamare, a creation by Alessandro Gaultieri and it defines boldness in every aspect. As a New Yorker, it is only fair that I go the bold route when it comes to fragrances. Steven’s reviews are almost always spot on and I can certainly trust his nose and opinions.
For the giveaway, I want to pick Fantomas.

  • Pardon me. Please! All Steven’s descriptions are amazing but this one may have chocolate. I’d rather wear it than eat it. Although I’d never pass it up. The detection of the lemony magnolia could place this in the heady end days of summer. Very exciting. Thank you. I live in NY.

  • andrewmier1 says:

Been a long time follower of Steven since I got into perfumery. The way he describes fragrances is great! Its all about an experience rather than just smelling good.

This review with the Nasomatto fragrances is no different. I have sampled these all in store before and Steven is spot on with the descriptions, especially Fantomas. I like how he describes it as a kind of ever evolving fragrance as its worn.

I absolutely love Alessandro Gualtieri’s creative perfumery, they evoke emotion and really make you think about how it all ties together with the senses. I was introduced to his perfumes with Orto Parisi and now playing catch-up with the Nasamatto brand lol.

All these creations sound amazing, but if I won the raffle, my choice would have to be Pardon.

  • johnmadison says:

Thank you for the review of Duro, Pardon, and Fantomas, Steven!
I love the Nasomatto line so much and been a long time wearer of China White and Absinthe. Such an amazing craft in this line and I find each fragrance to have such depth and complexities. I also really enjoy the Orto Parisi line…Magamare is stunning!
I have gotten my nose on the three fragrances you reviewed and really appreciate all of them and their unique cocktails. Fantomas is by far one of the most unique and I just adore that note of melon in it. If I were to win I would have to go with Pardon. The richness of the black chocolate comes through so beautifully and I just find this to be such a sexy and mature fragrance.
    Thank you for this opportunity!
I do follow you on Instagram as well under the handle Jay.bonez
    Cheers!

Duro was the first to catch my eye on this list — despite being a woman I am really curious to try this on my skin. I’ve only given Narcotic V a try from the Nasomatto line and it’s quality made me curious to try more. It’s much too ‘nice’ and floral for me, but very well done. After Steven’s review I’m even more curious about Duro. It’s always interesting to me to try scents on my husband’s skin vs mine, we can often wear the same scent yet it smells entirely different on each of us. I’d be curious to try this one and see who’d win the bottle. 😉

Thanks for the review and giveaway opportunity. I’m in the US.

  • Blaine Conti says:

I would absolutely love to win this I really enjoy Blamage and want to try more of his scents!

  • It’s not often you see Nasomatto giveaways here, so of course I want in on the giveaway! Steven really hyped up Pardon, and Michelyn as well, describing it as “an ode to masculine elegance”. Pardon is for sure the bottle I would like to win. I follow you on Instagram 🙂

I have an address in the USA.

  • Leonarda K. says:

FINALLY something from my favorite house! I own Narcotic Venus, China White, Pardon, Black Afgano and my favorite fragrance of all times, Nudiflorum.
I also had decants of Duro, Pardon, Blamage and Absinthe and own 3 more perfumes from Orto Parisi. Would love to get my hands on Hindu Grass decant but no one near me is selling one.
There’s obviously something about Alessandro Gualtieri’s DNA and the way he composes perfumes that appeals to my very core.

Unfortunately Fantomas happens to be one of the rare creation of his that I can’t get along with, for now. The rubber note is so overpowering and present that it just obscures all other notes like an annoying loud noise and I can’t smell anything else. As I mature and my taste changes I find myself enjoying some fragrances I hated a few years ago so I never say never.

I agree with Steven’s opinion that Duro is a challenging fragrance, one of those I have a love-hate relationship with. So many times I wanted to give it away or sell, but something kept me from doing it and yet always I come back to it. It’s a traditionally male scent but in my opinion a very confident woman could pull it off. It’s a perfume that screams power and confidence.

Pardon is my favorite of all three mentioned in this article and I agree with Steven that it’s a gem and imho, underrated in comparison to some other Gualtieri’s fragrances. What I love about it it how it’s different, unique and yet not too offensive at the same time. It’s also in my opinion one of the perfumes that react with skin chemistry the most! Whoever tried it from my same decant bottle, ended up with a unique and different smell.

I’m NOT from the US so i’m not eligible for the giveaway, but had to leave this comment because it’s an article about my favorite perfumer and house!!

  • I’ve consistently enjoyed Steven’s detailed video descriptions of fragrances, and Nasomatto is a brand I’ve been eager to delve into further. The one scent I’ve had the pleasure of trying from their collection is Pardon, which I adore and have always planned to acquire a full bottle of. Steven’s high praise for it aligns perfectly with my own experience. What truly captivates me is its exquisite incorporation of magnolia with Oud, a note that regrettably isn’t frequently utilized in fragrances with a more masculine-leaning vibe. If I were to be fortunate enough to win, Pardon is the one I’d hope for.
I’m in the USA and, I’m also a follower of your Instagram account.

  • Hello! Yes, I am very intrigued by this giveaway!! I love Nasomatto and would love to win Pardon.
Steven’s review is amazing as always, and based on his review I would love to win Pardon. I don’t know if I win but will definitely want to try!
    I am from USA

  • Thank you for the great write-up by Michelyn and the fantastic video reviews by Steven.
I would like to win Nasomatto “PARDON” based on Steven’s review and Michelyn’s description!
I am following @cafleurebonoffical from my Instagram @calicalnurse. Thanks for such an amazing and generous giveaway! Greetings from the USA.

  • Oh boy, Steven did a great job in here.
I love Nasomatto. They deliver fantastic fragrances. To me, my favorite one yet is Baraonda.
I love how Steven described their fragrances and to me the one that got my attention the most is Pardon. I would love to win Pardon by Nassomatto. I like that it has chocolate and magnolia and how it is very different from everything on the market. Would love to get it.
    USA here.

  • Nasomatto has different type of fragrances style.
I have smelled Black afgano, and my goodness, it last forever and some more.
From the 3 described, and knowing my style, if I win this giveaway, I would like to receive the bottle of Pardon.

    From Massachusetts.

  • I’ve only tried Black Afgano from Nasomatto. It’s a fragrance for which I’ve gotten a lot of comments. It’s definitely unique and a love it or hate it scent. Of the three you should be wearing selections, I’m most drawn to Pardon. I’m interested to see what Nasomatto does with magnolia and chocolate. Steven’s enthusiasm for the fragrance is a plus. I’m in the US.

  • MatthewKeilwitz says:

This would really be a difficult decision. But my girlfriend would probably enjoy Duro the most.

  • Farewellsmell says:

First found out about Nasomatto from a forum asking about the best bottle designs and have kept up since. Steven did an incredible job describing both the characteristics of the overall fragrance house and the fragrances themselves. If I had to pick one fragrance if I won, I would pick Duro based of Steven’s description.
    Currently following on instagram.

  • Been following Steven for a bit now on YouTube. I really like how he is honest with his reviews and goes in detail about everything. He’s not afraid to review the not very popular ones as well. Think he did a great job covering these 3 nasomatto fragrances. I picked up a sample of baroaonda and pardon not too long ago and loved them so I would select pardon for the giveaway.

  • Alessandro Gualtieri and Nasomatto i know for Black Afgano and Baraonda , all 3 fragrances chosen by Michelyn and Steven Duro , Pardon and Fantomas i do not know.
Duro is woody , spicy and leathery
Pardon instantly grabbed me with its refined character, woody, incensy and pich of gourmand properties coming from the patchouli ,tonka bean and resins.
Fantomas is unique, melon with darker colors and beautifully mysterious according to Steven.
Pardon is the fragrance i’d like to win, and yes I do follow Cafleurebon on social media
    Thanks for the draw
    USA

  • Before I finished watching Steven’s video I looked up the three in this giveaway and came to the conclusion that Pardon would probably suit me best.

I really liked the fact that Steven thinks this one is the gem from Nasomatto. I think it’s interesting that the brand doesn’t list the note breakdowns. It leaves a bit of mystery in each bottle.

I would definitely like the pardon. To me seems very intriguing.

  • Michael McCormack says:

I don’t have anything from this house but I have wanted to try it. Steven always does a thorough job at describing the fragrances and it definitely made me want to try this house especially because they were described as long lasting.

  • It is interesting that Twisted Lily gives notes, but Nasomatto doesn’t!!
Since both Stephen and Mychelyn really like Pardon, that is the one I would like to win

  • mmerchant.1989 says:

A portrayal of three exquisite olfactory experiences covered in three minutes and forty seconds (from the moment he starts reviewing Fantomas to the conclusion of Pardon). “I beg your pardon?”

The best part about this video is the similitude between Alessandro Gualtieri’s creations and Steven’s review style; Captivating, Wholesome, Photorealistic and Fierce.

And just like Steven, my pick out of the three would be PARDON!

Cheers to the sponsors of this draw. Appreciate this opportunity!

  • Oooh, so hard to choose. Based on Steven’s reviews, i think i would like to try Pardon. Steven is so knowledgeable and passionate. In the US.

  • I appreciate Alessandro Gualtieri’s dedication to keeping some things about his fragrances a mystery; I’m reminded of some of Chris Rusak’s perfumes. Those of us with less trained noses often benefit from a little guidance. Still, I appreciate the concept, and I’m curious how many of the notes listed on Twisted Lily I’d pick up without their help.

I haven’t tried any Nasomatto fragrances yet. Of these three, Fantomas strikes me as the most unusual, the most abstract, and the most compelling. I noted that Steven described it as mysterious and enigmatic, but simultaneously not challenging, which I’d expect. I assume the juxtaposition of synthetic notes against sweets and fruits (all over an earthy base) would be a challenge to balance.

I like that Steven focused on fragrances we’d be less likely to know. He obviously loves the chocolate and magnolia combination in Pardon; I will add it to my to try list as well. Great video.

I’m in the USA and I follow @Cafleurebonofficial on Instagram. I’d love to win Fantomas. Thanks!

  • Regis Monkton says:

After having watched Steven’s review, I became very intrigued to try “Pardon”. If I win the draw, then I’d choose “Pardon”. I like hearing about: the good performance, that it’s very much a chocolate/magnolia prominent fragrance, and that it’s sweet, earthy, and versatile. It sounds like something I’d like, and it’d be a good way to start familiarizing myself with Nasomatto. I live in the U.S.A. I follow @Cafleurebonofficial on I.G. (@regismonkton).

  • IvanVelikov says:

First Nasomatto I discovered was Black Afgano, a fragrance I’ll never get tired of , the other one in my possession is one of the 3 Nasomatto suggestions – Fantomas. Definitely experimental, daring and artistic creations like Michelyn said.
-Duro is pretty much animalic leather to me. I like spicy fragrances, but Duro is super spicy, and I find it challenging.
-Pardon I’ve never smelled. I like the balance between the dark and rich oud , the incense, and the gourmand aspects.
-Fantomas is a happy fragrance, with Melon flavored hard candies, something plastic, patchouli and gun powder.
Pardon would be great, and I do follow Cafleurebon IG account.
Thank you Michelyn, Steven and Twisted Lily

  • What intrigues me about duro is that leather accord. Fantomas sounds really unique and I’m interested in trying it. Rubber? huh? I mean, I like the smell of rubber so it might be good, but I would need to try it first. I do like challenging fragrances, so Duro sounds appealing. I’m a big fan of leather, dark, and bold fragrances. I’ve already samples Pardon and I love it. It’s so welcoming and comforting. It smells yummy, and I agree with Steven when he says it’s seductive. But yes, out of all of there, I’d like to win Duro.
    I live in Illinois, USA.

  • Have loved everything I’ve sniffed from Nasomatto so far. I think your comments are spot on: great performance, left field notes that just work well together, and a super interesting house through-and-through. As always, Steven paints a lovely picture of the strengths of each scent; a picture that pointed me towards a scent I’m eager to try: Pardon. Would be thrilled to win Pardon if I am so lucky. Based in NYC, USA!

  • Michael Prince says:

I loved Steven’s YouTube review of Nasomatto Fantomas, Pardon and Duro. I liked how he picked three fragrances that deviate from two of their more popular offerings Black Afghano and Baraonda. I personally haven’t tried Duro, Pardon, or Fantomas but I’ve heard so many great things about all 3. Duro sounds dark, woody, and masuline. Fantomas sounds fruity, but with a mysterious side. Steven’s review of Pardon really resonated with me have the chocolate with magnolia, but also woody, smoky, incense, oud, and vanillic touches sound really amazing. I am from the USA. If I win I would pick Pardon. I love Nasomatto Fragrances and I follow @Cafleurebonofficial under @michaelprincefragrance

  • I’m familiar with all of the 4 main Alessandro Gualtieri projects , Nasomatto, Orto Parisi , MariaLux and some of his artistic projects where his calling himself “The Nose” . If I have to rate my favorite Nasomatto fragrances:
    1. Vintage Black Afgano
    2. Vintage Baraonda
    3. Vintage Pardon
Alessandro Gualtieri is one of the mad scientists of the fragrance industry, true talent, the Italian/Dutch counterpart to Josh Lobb from Slumberhouse.
Duro i value for its creativity, but I can’t wear it, the overdose of ruff and tumble leather is too much for me, to me it’s well dipping into animalic territory.
Pardon to me is 100% unisex, within my fragrance enthusiasts friends mostly ladies are wearing it. To be fair Pardon (and Black Afgano too) went through a few interpretations during the years, some more woody, some more chocolaty. Deep and rich sophisticated fragrance, and compliment getter…if you care . Unlike Michelyn , and Steven I don’t get anything floral in Pardon.
Fantomas is rather easy to wear, it’s still unique. It’s fruity, boozy and at least I clearly perceive gun powder.
Pardon is the fragrance i’d like to win
All profiles I already follow , including @nasomatto
    Thanks a lot

Thanks for the interesting reviews Steven, Michelyn.

Nasommatto is one that everyone has heard of because of Black Afghano.

I personally enjoyed listening/reading about both Pardon and Fantomas. I lean towards scents that are not gourmand and chocolatey, so Pardon will be my choice.

I love the interesting combination of noties – chocolate and magnolia is quite unique, balanced out by all the other spcies and incense.

    Cheers from WI, USA

  • Steven made a good point when he said most people, at least fragrance lovers do know Nasomatto for Black Afgano and Baraonda , the latter is a staple of mine for a very long time.
Pardon and Fantomas I’ve smelled before, Duro I have not.
By the name alone Duro “hard” I presume the fragrance will be more daring, in the oud and leather category, even Steven called it bald .
Pardon is sweet, spicy and smoky, it’s gender neutral and its elegant character is right up my alley. The chocolate in Pardon is so delicious.
I relate Fantomas to the beach way more , than to the mountains. Melon and Pineapple Aqua Fresca is how it smells to me , tropical , fizzy and a bit spicy.
If lucky I’d like to win Pardon
    Thank you for the opportunity

  • Nasomatto is one of the first niche brands i discovered, Pardon ,Baraonda, Black Afgano are all classics .
☆ I have a feeling Steven meant Duro when he said one of Nasomatto picks could be challenging. Dark take on leather and oud ?
☆ Pardon I believe is a gourmand , and it’s not because I’m a Pastry Chef, the fragrance is quite sweet and to my nose smells like Chocolate Ganache Cake, with cinnamon, cardamom and candied citrus peel. It’s a bit smoky too.
☆ Fantomas sounds good, with unusual composition and inspired by the comics.
    Pardon would be great
Appreciate the 3 reviews, the introduction and the giveaway campaign
