Mugler Cologne Collection Review + True Colors Draw

Mugler Cologne is one of the classic Mugler fragrances and launched in 2001 and was Thierry Mugler fourth fragrance for the brand (Angel, A* Men and Angel Innocent). It is said that he wanted to recreate the fresh scent of a certain soap he remembered from his childhood in Morocco. Perfumer Alberto Morillas took this brief and created a bright citrus and musk scent that still holds up 17 years later. Now, the company has launched the Mugler Cologne Collection, and Mugler Cologne has a new name Come Together which pretty much smells like the original to our noses. The concept, however for Mugler Cologne Collection is quite different. The five fragrances are meant to mix and match, wear alone or layer. With fun millennial names: Come Together, Love You All, Run Free, Take Me Out, and Fly Away each Mugler Cologne Collection EDT is priced affordably ($70 for 100 ml refillable) and they are sure to sell out.

  • Sebastian’s reviews are thorough and excellent!
He knows his fragrances and explains the notes in relation to each scent!
I trust his opinions and expertise.
I would love Come Together since I’ve been wearing the original Green Mugler cologne for years.

  • samuel roldan says:

I love the original version, never had the opportunity to try the new line hope i win one of them one day they work lovely here in florida.

  • Thanks for re-introducing it to me personally. Love the original. I still have half a bottle left and it has been tucked away in my collection for a while. I wonder if the new ones are Morillas creations as well? It is a great idea to be able to layer the scents. When you mentioned about the orange notes on take me out, my first thought was to layer it with the original. Looking forward to getting the take me out first and then the fly away.

  • As usual, an easy to follow in-depth review from Sebastian. He definitely makes it easy to h first and. I think layering Take Me Away with Come Together would definitely be a great combo.

Would love to win Take Me Away as I’m a huge fan of orange scents.

  • Amy Leonhardt says:

I like his descriptions and the idea of playing with proportions when you layer. That would be fun to try. Come Together and Fly Away sound great.

  • Just Add Light says:

I have heard from several YT reviewers that these are perfect for layering, mainly due to their simplistic, yet unique compositions. Most notably, Fly Away and Love You All have garnered the most attention, although I think my favourite would still be the original – Come Together – which is a fantastic layering piece with any vetiver scent IMO. Never actually thought about layering them with each other until now!! Just like Sebastian, I’m a total Mugler fanboy, so you can imagine my delight when hearing that he enjoys them far more than I would expect, given their lukewarm reception thus far. Really enjoyed his combo recommendations. Should be fun! USA

  • As always, I love Sebastians laid back review. If I were to win, I think ‘Take me out’ sounds most like a scent I’d like…citrusy! I am in the US.

  • I always love hearing Sebastian’s in depth, on point reviews. I liked that he ranked his favorites and suggested ways to layer the scents and even play around with proportions. I think layering Come Together and Love You All would be really nice, and would really enjoy winning Come Together as my first Mugler fragrance and build my collection from there!

  • Love Sebastian’s review’s, I find his nose usually is on point! I love the enthusiasm he brings.

I would probably not layer, I usually stick to a single fragrance!

Run Free actually sounds the most interesting to me!

  • Awesome Sebastian’s review as always. Those bottles look really nice. I’m not such a big fan of layering but i think i would try some. The purple bottle is eye-catchy to me. Thanks for the chance, USA.

  • Sebastian’s idea of combining come together and take me out sounds great. I’d love to try take me out because of the orange blossom and mint. I’m in usa.

  • Had the original for years and use it all the time. The dumbest reach in the world. Clean and invigorating. This is a very tempting collection and Sebastian’s rundown of the line was as detailed as always. Which is very helpful in getting a fix on each. Love you all would be my pick. Sounds the most compatible with my tastes. Would also love to layer with the original cologne.

  • Sebastian describes layering well. I have been enjoying the original for years. Sounds like Love You All would be my favorite. All those colors are like eye candy. USA

  • I like how he describes the different fragrances and the different notes in them. Makes it easier to picture them In Your mind. Yes, I’ll definitely layer these fragrances after watching the review.

My choice will be Mugler Take Me Out

  • Huge fan of all Mugler frags. I have gone through two bottle of Mugler Cologne. Take me out would be my choice for the citrus and shiso

  • Patrick Echevarria says:

Sebastian was thorough as usual which I like anout his style of reviewing. Fly away seems to be the one I’d love to own since I own already the original Mugler Cologne that smells like Come Together. I will be layering the original and Fly Away and see how it goes. San Diego CA

  • BostonScentGuy says:

Loved hearing about Sebastian’s appreciation for Mugler Cologne (the original) come out and he’s totally right–it is a crowd pleaser, effortless to wear, but still interesting enough to keep me coming back to it. Rare for a fresh scent! He made his second favorite, Love You All, sound great. I love licorice (not sure what “blue” licorice is) and I’d be curious to smell how it plays with the other notes in Cologne. I would try layering and Love You All would be my choice. Thanks for the draw! I’m in the US.

  • It is fun to see that Sebastian played around with these and layered until he found a combo he liked, I would love to layer these as every time I could make a new combo. Fly away, Hemp and Grapefruit sounds very interesting.

  • I loved that Sebastian gave his honest opinion about the fragrances and shared they layering tachinques and which were his fave to layer together, I would definitely layer these 5 fragrances and my fave of I could get a bottle would be to try Take Me Out! I live in USA

  • I like the way Sebastian effortlessly went thru the different colors/varieties, spelling out the notes and offering combinations. If it were me, it would look more like the Vitameatavegemin commercial! Like Sebastian, I am a licorice lover and I would choose Love you All; however I have never layered and am fearful of the prospect. What if you layer and it’s awful?? Must you then re-shower? Anyway, I am in NYC as always, and thanks so much for the opportunity. I’m really excited for this one!

  • Loved the Sebastian video. He is extremely objective and very honest in giving his preference and order which make it much easier for the viewer. I would love to layer the fragrance as I always layer them. My preference would be – Come Together as I am a huge fan of original Green Mugler cologne.

    Cheers from New York

  • Sebastian did a great job explaining all of the notes of these. I’d love to try Come Together and think it’d layer well with Love You All.

  • adamwattsphoto says:

What I liked the most was how Sebastian talked about spraying 4 sprays of one on top of 1 of another. If I were to win, I’d love to have Take Me Out. I am in New York USA.

  • Another solid review from Sebastian. I appreciate how he’s able to communicate all the scents and notes without it getting convoluted. With lots of frag YouTubers, they get a bit verbose. He’s short and sweet!

If I won I’d love Come Together. I am in the USA.

  • I love how Sebastian suggested the layering. layering is definitely something I would experiment with. Would love to win Love you All because I would like to explore licorice. Thanks for the draw. In the USA

  • I always love his reviews because he does an amazing job articulating the way a fragrance smells. I’d love to try Take me Out after hearing Sebastian describe layering it with the original (which I already have.)

  • This seems like it will be a huge success for Mugler. I am on my 3rd bottle of the original which is still one of my favorite juices. With the layering aspect mentioned by Sebastian this opens up the flanker set to many options. I am in the US and would really like to have Love You All.

  • Sebastian is always a wonderful artist. His words and descriptions are inspiring and give great insight into a perfume. I used to wear angel and got many compliments with it. I could see layering it and would enjoy layering the new ones. Thank you for the chance to win. I live in the US.

  • As always Sebastian’s review was very descriptive and thorough. If I were to win this I’m tossed between Take me out or run free. The smell of orange blossom is wonderful however my daring side is drawn towards the less popular purple bottle. How can anything purple be bad? 🙂

  • Enjoyed the review on these 4. I haven’t tried the original yet. The blue one Love You All I believe interests me the most. These can also be layered which is nice. Thanks
    California ✌

  • Layering does require some thought and a bit of experimentation. I previously owned a Fred Segal blending kit and in the end, much preferred to wear the scents individually. In general, layering is not my practice, but I do sometimes top off gourmands with additional vanilla or coconut scents. If I were to win, I would select ‘Run Free”, even if it is Sebastian’s least favorite 🙂 of the group, as I need more “zingy” in my life. I live in the US and thank you for the draw.

  • This was a super fun review. I would choose Take Me Out because I love shiso notes in fragrances (I’m still hoping Comme des Garçons re-releases its Shiso fragrance from the early 2000s). I’d definitely experiment with layering these fragrances. I often do that, especially when I want to toughen up a floral fragrance with a leather touch.
    I live in the USA.

  • layering would be fun, it’s an interesting concept the collection is trying to push. I would like to try take me out the most

  • I’ve never tried the Mugler cologne, but Sebastian’s review certainly makes me want to do just that. I’ve never been brave enough to layer, but this sounds pretty easy to do. Thanks for the draw. I’m in the US

  • I love Sebasian’s passion and honesty-you can count on him.
Love Mugler as a house , but i’ve never been a fan of the original Mugler Cologne , and was a bit sceptical before smelling the whole new Mugler Cologne line , but Fly Away is a very nice zingy fragrance for everyday use . The best from the line imo.
I do not like to layer fragrances .
Already follow all of you on IG.

  • Sebastian’s Favorite is the green one, Come Together, I also would like to try it as I’ve heard that this one is similar to Creed’s Original Vetiver, one that I have and love

  • Stephanie Samuel says:

I just recently came across Sebastian’s channel and I am hooked! I purchased Angel and Alien on his recommendation and I am in love! Love how the new fragrances are all unisex. I actually prefer many men’s colognes to women’ s. I would love to try “Come Together”. Thank you!

  • I’d say I appreciated most the honesty and candor about Sebastian’s Review. The layering is an interesting concept I haven’t considered before, but would love to give it a try. I’m most interested in Take Me Out. I am in the US.

  • First off, thanks for the giveaway!

I have to admit, I am new to Mugler colognes but the overview from Sebastian really piqued my interest and I have been going down the rabbit hole all night. The best part for me was his description of the “blue licorice.” Definitely sounds like an awesome scent profile.

Were I chosen to win, I’d like a bottle of Run Free. I’m located in America.

  • I love how well Sebastian describes the fragrances. And his honesty. One of the few YouTuber’s I can trust. I would be interested in come together. As for layering seems like it would go well with love you all.
Thank you for this amazing giveaway

  • Random, but I LOVE the colors of these fragrances! Sebastian is one of the only frag you tubers I actually trust to give me his real opinion. The fact he’s had the original since 2001 was crazy to learn and definitely makes me confident in trying these out.

My ideal selection would be Love You All. I love amber!

(I am a subscriber in the USA.)

  • Finally a reviewer who gives some layering suggestions, I mean that is the whole idea here right? Thanks Sebastian. I’d love to layer but Fly Away is my favorite on its own and would be my choice should I win.

  • Thanks Sebastian for another awesome vid.

Love the description of “spicy and zingy” of Run Free. I think layering Come Together and Run Free would be delicious. 🙂
Sebastian did as great job with the wonderful imagery. I’d choose Come Together if I were selected. I live in the US.

    Thank you!

  • The layering of Take Me Out and Come Together sounds awesome. Honestly never thought about layering before, so Sebastian talking about that was pretty cool. I’d say I’m most interested in Love You All. US subscriber here!

  • I was thrilled to see this review by Sebastian. I trust his opinion and I have been a big fan of the original Cologne since 2002. Take Me Out sounds fantastic. I love Orange Blossom and I think it would be a great combo with the original. I can’t wait to smell the whole collection.
    I live in the USA.

  • Sebastian and his his nice reviews…
I’ve always been a fan of Mugler , and i do own 4 from the brand – Woodissime being my favorite -fantastic are highly underrated fragrance , but layering is not my thing….at all.To each their own i guess .
If i win i’ll chose Fly Away .
    Tnx for the giveaway.
I’ve been following Sebastian and Cafleurebon for a long time , and now i do follow @muglerofficial too.
    Cheers from VA

  • Fernando Garcia says:

I loved hearing about Sebastian’s opinions on all of these new Mugler Cologne flankers. I would definitely layer them, to me the best combination would be to layer Fly Away with Run Free. Thanks for the chance!

  • middleagedandmixed says:

I was happy to see Sebastian’s review of these as I just noticed them in the new arrivals section online and was curious. I’m always watching his reviews because I trust that he’ll give a thorough true review. I would definitely layer Come Together & Take Me Out together. Thanks!

  • Hi! Saw some pictures of these frags online and was happy when I saw Sebastian’s review pop up in my subscription box. Probably will sound silly, but I had no idea that Come Together is the original Mugler scent. Cool fact to learn. For that reason, I’d choose Come Together to try! I’m in NJ, USA.

  • I enjoyed the layering ideas. Some of them sounded interesting. Although personally I probably wouldn’t layer too often.
Id like the original one Come Together if I win
    I’m in the US, thanks

  • Hi, I am a big fan of mugler and a big fan of Sebastian, I love all his reviews. I would love to to be entered for the givaway. Thank you
