From Saint Lucia to Antigua, my childhood holidays were often spent on beaches in the Caribbean. Carefree days with cousins in places like Barbados and Cozumel were much anticipated family reunions. Warm tropical memories of sunshine, saltwater, and lush landscapes are key scent memories associated with my loving and international kin. We are continuing this tradition with extended family over winter break and the one fragrance I will taking with me is the exquisite Lili Bermuda Petals.

Lili Bermuda Petals is a luminescent fragrance, opening like the first rays of sunshine on a luxurious white sand beach. Clementine is the perfect note to begin such a softly sunny experience. With its balance of freshness, sweetness, and touch of tang, the radiant clementine opening of Lili Bermuda Petals brings the warmth of the Caribbean sun to this floral perfume. Orange blossom marries perfectly with the floral aspects of clementine, leading the scent in a more heady and honeyed direction. The soapy-clean and fresh nuances of orange blossom keep everything light and breezy. A hint of green leafiness evokes the joy of being outside in paradise.

Jasmine contains aroma compounds that are very complimentary, even quite similar, to orange blossom, and so it is with great finesse that the two are combined in a transition to the heart. The honeysuckle note is beautifully buoyant and carefree in the bouquet. I find myself raising my wrist over and over to sniff that nectary childhood delight. The slight vanilla undertone of the honeysuckle balances the animal aspect of orange blossom perfectly, creating a perfectly warm yet absolutely clean white floral. Peach adds fruity and creamy undertones like subtle chiaroscuro shading. Wearing Lili Bermuda Petals feels like walking in a swathe of marble light, elevating the day to one of ease and beauty.

As dries down, white musk and a soft wood accord create a gentle hum, much like the sounds of ocean waves at night. The dry down feels like the warm glow of skin that has been out in the sun all day and still radiates heat. Lili Bermuda Petals is an elegant and breezy white floral perfect to bring summer vibes to any situation, even when there is a chill in the air. Fresh and lushly textured, this scent is perfect for vacation, staycation or a romantic rendezvous.

Notes: clementine, orange flower, green leaves, honeysuckle, jasmine, peach, white musk, soft wood accord

Petals is a breezy and carefree floral fragrance. Uncomplicated, easy-going and soft for those tropical summers where you just want to be out all day. It’s great for a day-to-day wear for any occasion. The honeysuckle adds a bit of sweetness but it’s mostly about the florals and the musk. Just a pretty girl fragrance. I’m located in the USA

  • The highlights from the review that were the inspiration for Lili Bermuda petals being favorite childhood memories of Isabelle Ramsay-Brackstonef, of vacations throughout the Caribbean and using the olfactory experience of scent to invoke those moments: sunny beach, lush tropical landscapes, salty sea air. This scent screams Summer and all the warm summer months embody. With Clemetine as the dominant opening note that pairs with jasmine, honeysuckle, an animalistic orange blossom, that in the dry down matures into a soft wood accord. This seems like a vacation in a bottle. Another interesting white floral to try.

  • Rachel’s review of Lili Bermuda Petals immediately caught my attention because of how vividly it captures the feeling of a sunlit, carefree day on a tropical beach. The combination of clementine’s bright freshness with the lush florals like orange blossom and jasmine sounds like pure vacation in a bottle. I’m also intrigued by the nostalgic honeysuckle note—it feels like a nod to childhood summers, which I love. The idea of a fragrance that radiates warmth and elegance while being light and breezy is exactly what I look for, especially during colder months when I’m craving a bit of sunshine!

Great review from Rachel, so good in fact that I had to show this to my girlfriend who is quite interested in the scent. The combination of orange and hints of green is the thing that caught both of our attention as it is the more orange-based scents that we both tend to love on each other.

Good luck to all from Canada!

  • Ooh third times a charm!! I keep reading these lovely reviews for this house and one day! One day. I just love orange blossom and florals with musk. And I love honeysuckle. What a burst of summer in the depth of Autumn!

  • Rachel’s review made me feel like I was right there on a Caribbean beach, soaking in the sun and salt air. The way she described the clementine and orange blossom opening as “sunshine in a bottle” instantly sparked my curiosity—who doesn’t want that kind of positivity and brightness in their day? Plus, the idea of honeysuckle and peach adding a creamy, nostalgic vibe makes it sound both elegant and comforting. I love fragrances that transport you, and this one seems like it could bring summer back no matter the season. Definitely something I’d love to try!

  • Rachel’s description of Petals as “a garden of white flowers in the breeze” truly captured my imagination. The way she highlighted its delicate, fresh, and uplifting qualities, paired with a tropical undertone, makes it sound like a fragrance perfect for both sunny days and moments of introspection. The idea of wearing a perfume that embodies the serene beauty of Bermuda’s landscapes is incredibly appealing. I’m very intrigued to try “Petals”. It seems like a realistic floral. I love ylang-ylang, honeysuckle, and the other ingredients too. I like the combining of jasmine and orange blossom. I’d like to see if I might think of the warmth of the Caribbean sun by means of “Petals”. I live in MD, USA.

  • It’s starting to get cold here in the US, so this review’s photos of sun-blasted beaches in Bermuda are very welcome. The clementine note featured in the opening of Lili Bermuda Petals sounds delightfully uplifting, as does the honeysuckle note, and the other white florals likely provide some balance and staying power. The warm-skin dry down sounds lovely too.

Lili Bermuda Petals–just the name sounds enchanting! I would love to wear this fragrance on a trip to the tropics. But I think it would be even better to wear it to bring the tropics to a cold and dreary winter day. The clementine, orange blossom and jasmine sound lush, yet fresh and breezy.
    I live in the USA.

  • When I read this the first thing that comes to mind is a citric dominated blend that also has green facets coupled with a fruity backbone. I’m sure this a light and easygoing scent. Perfect for the upcoming spring and summer. Would love to own and try for myself. From Jacksonville, NC
