Libby Patterson Organics: Abra Ca Da Bra & Temple Sweep Parfums ‘Magic Potions’ + Draw

Are you looking for a little magic in your life?   Do you believe that the mind has the power to manifest a desired outcome? Even if you do not embrace such phenomenon the little aromatic wonders that are Abra Ca Da Bra and Temple Sweep will charm you with their magical fragrances and with the magnetism they radiate. How would one use these delicious parfums? One could simply use them for their sexy fragrances and/or one could keep a special wish in mind as one imagines a clearing away with Temple Sweep of the outmoded and outworn attitudes in your life (including being the carrier of the emotional baggage of others). With Abra Ca Da Bra I would suggest to focus on a special wish and be prepared for your wish to come true.

I would recommend if you intend to work with the Abra Ca Dabra  Parfum on this spiritual level as well as simply a lovely fragrance to also purchase a vial or bottle of Temple Sweep. Keep in mind that manifesting abundance into your life in any form will be more comfortable if there is enough emotional space to accommodate the change. Temple Sweep helps with this. LPO offers vials as well as 5ml, 10ml and larger in all parfums.

Libby’s words on Abra Ca Da Bra….."Wear this magic parfum for any ceremonial ritual or important meeting which requires the quintessential belief in you. This manifestation parfum is sticky….it magnetizes your dreams to you…..all that is required from you is your belief and emotional pure intent…..focus….and be the dream you dare to be"~

(Inspired by author Lori Barbaria’s book: Abracadabra)

Libby’s words on Temple Sweep…"Great cleanser for your space, and YOURSELF….Instructions……during any time of the moon…..month, anoint your door knobs, from outside to inside to cleanse your temple…you can begin your inner ceremony after all door knobs, and house hold knobs have been touched, with your Temple sweep parfum…..easy to wash your door threshold with this baby….too, just put a wee bit in your floor mop action…and cleanse away….Once you have done your temple, feel free to anoint self, in process, of ‘beingness’…open to your own inner temple, your goddess and lover of nature that can be and do, and as we say “do  be  do be do…”

Temple Sweep, your home, your temple…that’s YOU!

Temple Sweep Notes: hyssop, cinnamon, basil, jasmine grandi, Turkish rose, oakmoss, blonde tobacco, benzoin resinoid, violet leaf

Abra Ca Da Bra Notes: bergamot, amber accord, vetiver, antique patchouli & sandalwood, Madagascar vanilla, agar musk

Natural or Blended: 100% natural

Sillage/Longevity: Both scents are quite reasonable in longevity. Abra Ca Da Bra lasted a few hours on my skin as did Temple Sweep.

Note: LPO Parfums tend to move through the system quite quickly as they are designed for their special magical effect as well as their beautiful scents. The sillage and longevity in general of the LPO Parfums is very gentle.

Worth the risk to purchase unsniffed: Yes

I had the exciting opportunity to visit with Libby and be taken on a Scent Journey in the environment of her work/play shop Atelier. I can’t wait to share my experiences with you. I really love these scents…as well as many more made by Libby Patterson for LPO. I will be sharing more scents and scent stories from LPO, look for an upcoming interview.

  • I think when family is sick or with health issues, you lean a bit toward needing a 'magic potion'
Also, I adopted 3x and each time I believe there was some magic involved…so many pieces had to fit together to make it all happen…yes, definitely magic!

  • I give thanks for all of your artistic expression and passion that you express through these articles…I am in love with scent as it carries the very essence of our common medicines, flowers, herbs, trees, resins, etc…Thank you for allowing me to live vicariously through your passions!   Much appreciated!

  • Continuing to "hear" the divine directions that are whispered in my ear, and to finish creating our "home space."

What a lovely perfumer!  Thank you SO much for sharing Libby with us Monica <3

  • I would like to try Libby's potions…I want more magic in my life opening the very large doors…
I have experienced great magic and manifestations in my life and do believe in magic…

  • I would love to enter the draw. I have experienced powerful magic and call upon it during life and season transitions.

  • I have found that magic comes in several flavors – there's the moment when you gaze out at a natural vista that's so heartbreaking lovely that your you remember what beauty truly is, or when you hear a story that reminds you of essential truths; and there's moments when everything changes.

I could use some magic right now, as I find myself in a situation where everything is changing due to circumstances that I couldn't have predicted. I know that I need to let go of old hopes to make room for what's coming, but I find it really hard. I'm looking to let go, and maybe figure out a few new hopes to look towards.

  • I loved this article… Who doesn't need magic and cleansing? Libby great work and with magical intentions:) Monica thanx for sharing your magical journey….

  • Fragrance has always cast a magic spell over me..I could not separate the two. And Libby has quite a potent energy herself! This duo will surely rock!

  • The list of notes for Abra Ca Dabra sounds like everything I look for in a warm, comforting vanillac fragrance.
As for the draw question:I feel the most magic in the air when I step out before a really fun night.

  • The "magic" that I need in 2011 is to develop mindfulness (being in the moment) through beginning a practice of mindfulness meditation. It sounds to me that this slowing down and seeing clearly would be greatly enhanced by the two Libby Patterson potions you have rewiewed here. Each sounds intriguing enough to prompt many wishes and the passion to make them come true.

  • Both perfumes sound lovely, especially Temple Sweep. I would love to try them 🙂

I think that I need some magic right now, but the kind of magic that Mary Poppins makes, when she tidies the bedroom just snapping her fingers!

  • @ MC 🙂 Oui
@ Felicia…it's always more about how you focus your mind. knowing what you want and being fully committed is perhaps magical in itself 🙂 the scents help us focus by power of suggestion and with the aromatherapeutic benefits- scientifically we know that mandain oil helps us to be cheerful. We know that rose oil is soothing….etc etc. Taking aromatherapy further and saying "rose oil opens the heart" …becomes much more of a personal choice as to whether you believe those things or not.

  • Magic happens in the little moments of life…the song that pops into your head that you haven't heard in forever & then comes on the radio, the times when you say the same thing @ the same time w/ a friend and you get to link pinkys and make a wish, a full moon shining on new snow & a whiff of a mysterious new fragrance that wafts by that you've just got to try~

  • It is magic to find someone, whether they be a lover or not, with whom you fit together.  That click of recognition, of two soul fragments sliding into place.  That delicious "ah! There you are! I have missed you."
It is magic that any of us can find our soul friends at all.

  • Z. Boudreaux says:

oh lucky me I saw this just in time. Love your draws and the chance to sample new brands and new delicious scents.

  • Always need magic and clearing in my space, being a massage therapist, lots of interaction !
I am thrilled to learn about cleansing the doorknobs and doorways with scent,
    makes perfect scents 🙂

    Thankyou !
