 Europerfumes, the USA distributor hosted a lavish rooftop bash at Hotel Chantelle in New York City to mark their latest fragrance debut, with Romano Ricci jetting in from Paris to join the celebration. Cocktails curated to complement the fragrance lit up the night—from the Juliette-inspired cherry Bellinis to the fiery Red N’ Spicy mix of tequila, hibiscus, and Cointreau. It was an unforgettable evening of sipping and spritzing for all the dedicated brand lovers and perfume connoisseurs.

Now what does Juliette smell like? At the heart of Juliette, a unique blend of dark cherry, pink pepper, and an overdose of Cashmeran takes the lead, creating a dance of the sensual and the modern. These elements transform the deep, dark cherry into something profoundly sensual, with a sillage that boldly announces its presence.

Yet, amidst these robust notes lies a delicate Jasmine absolute—though calling it floral would not do it justice.     Cherry is a note that is underrepresented in my collection for sure, so I would love to get the chance to sniff this one. I don’t own any other Juliettes, unfortunately, so I can’t say I have a favorite, but I have enjoyed the ones I’ve smelled!
    Also: until I read Michelyn’s interview, i had no idea Romano Ricci was related to Nina Ricci! Here’s a quote I liked:
    “A universe, lost between romance and desire of independence. Juliette is armed because she affirms her personality. Juliette stands for the romantic heroine of Shakespeare; the ’gun’ is her weapon of seduction… her perfume of course.”

    The cherry craze really shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon! Based on the notes and Olya’s review, this one looks like a darker/deeper cherry scent, and not the typical fruity/tropical cherry you see in other fragrances. Cherry is so aesthetically pleasing too and red happens to be my favorite color so anything red-like, I will be intrigued. Yes, J agree this is more unisex rather and leaning more towards a specific genre. I think Juliette Has A Gun has a hit on their hands with Juliette. Haha. I’m not too familiar with this house but I will be smelling two of their fragrances soon I’m hoping to like (Vanilla Vibes and Not A Perfume). Cheers from USA.

    I”m not normally a fruity floral wearer, but the description makes this sound more elevated and nuanced than the usual fragrance that takes that name. Definitely sounds intriguing! I am still experimenting with Juliette Has a Gun and haven’t decided on a favorite yet.

    I got my nose on this a couple weeks ago and found it to be such a nice soft dark cherry and very wearable with its cashmere and Tonka to add a bit of warmth and coziness to it. I really enjoy this one and would love to have a full bottle.

    Love Olya’s review. This sounds wonderful for Summertime. I have the Pear Fragrance. Michelyn’s Interview was interesting. I learned so much more about this brand . “He is the great grandson of the legendary Nina Ricci and grandson to Robert Ricci, which is the equivalent to rock royalty in the fragrance world (Juliette has a Gun sounds more like an rock band than a perfume company” Thank you for this chance USA

    I was interested in the focus on youth in this review.
    My favorite from this brand is Pear, Inc.
    Here’s the quote I loved simply because it beautifully explained the name (and spirit!) of the brand:

    I love cherry frags and this one sounds delightfully juicy. I like the idea of an overdose of cashmeran and tonka in the base. Cherry often pairs so well with woody notes (Room 1015 Cherry Punk is a prime example), and I’m keen to see how this one plays out. Also, that bottle is so freakin’ gorgeous! Best of luck to all.     Olya, you always find a way to capture my attention on your fragrance articles. The notes in this one definitely support a scent I’d wear for a “romantic rendezvous” 🙂
    It’s hard for me to narrow my favorite to this house, there are quite a few I really like….but if I had to narrow it..hmmm…I think it would be a tie between Not A Perfume Superdose and Another Oud.

    Bring on more cherry!! I’m sure this Juliette has a Gun has done amazing things with this (some may think) overused note. I would say this line is accessible and straightforward, but not general like a lot of department store offerings. My favorite of the line is Mmmmm. “At age 10, my grandfather taught me how to recognize the different notes…..” love those family memories! Thanks Twisted Lily for the chance. USA.

    The mix of dark cherry, pink pepper, cashmeran and florals is really intriguing. I cannot fathom how this might smell and I’m really curious to sample it.

    This does sound like a very accessible fragrance, considering the notes.

    The interaction of bold cherry and subtle jasmine absolute is an interesting choice here. I hope the cherry note leans towards the tart and tangy, and the jasmine has some endurance, to make Juliette a little more accessible.

    I am still enjoying all the cherry fragrances that have been released over the past few years, and Juliette sounds like one of the best. The jasmine and tonka notes surely will give this fragrance a strong backbone.

    As someone who enjoys fragrance to the fullest.. I truly appreciate the artistry that goes into a brand as well as each fragrance. As Romano Ricci said in his interview… ‘Each fragrance corresponds to a facet of Juliette. Every year a different side of her personality is presented’…. The new launch takes on a whole new aspect. This must be where Juliette takes control by making her presence known. My imagination goes wild after reading Olya’s in depth review of the fragrance & thinking back on the interview with Romano. I am so intrigued & feel like this one will speak to me on another level. JHAG has really been hitting hard with their last few releases & I have become a huge fan!

    I enjoyed very much reading this review. I think Olya’s review provided a lot of information about this new creation from the brand. I have to say that from this brand my favorite was the iconic Juliette Has A Gun Not A Perfume, but going for what I have read here, I believe this cherrie version to be very promising and delicious.
