Since ÇaFleureBon first began reviewing the brand, a number of readers have emailed me and asked what does Jeroboam mean? I was snooping around the Jovoy booth at Esxence 2015 (when the flacon was still a prototype) and learned from Francois Henin that Jeroboam is derived from Esperanto, (created as a global language in the late 1880s; think of it like you would Star Trek’s Universal Translator). UNUE means “the first” in Esperanto. Thanks to Francois Henin of Jovoy Parfums Rare we have a draw for a 30 ml bottle of Jeroboam Unue in the USA or EU (includes UK) for a registered ÇaFleureBon reader and Looking Feeling Smelling Great subscriber. The random winner is SivaScents. Please email michelyn at CaFleureBon dawt with Jeroboam UNUE as your subject, your full name and mailing details as well as your phone number by July 25, 2020 9PM EST. THIS IS A DEADLINE AND ABSOLUTELY NO EXCEPTIONS IF YOU ARE LATE. Please use the email from your comment so we know it is you. A warm thank you to Francois Henin in your email to us would be greatly appreciated as we do forward what you write exactly to our generous perfumers, retailers and creative directors. Please use the email from your comment so we know it is you.
We announce the winners only on our site and on our Facebook page, so like Çafleurebon and use our blog feed… or your dream prize will be just spilled perfume
