It was our intent to feature well known and emerging American Perfumers and Perfume Houses to our readers. These have been among our most popular posts; the most fan mail came from readers who thanked us for supporting and spotlighting Artisan perfumery in the US. Artisans create the fragrance themselves and do not hire an outside nose. When many think of the term 'indie', it is these perfumers that come to mind.
