Initio Parfums High Frequency, Rehab and Oud for Happiness Reviews+ 3 you should be wearing giveaway

Video Editor Steven Gavrielatos has reviewed many Initio Parfums over the years and when we were recently chatting about the brand, he realized that he owns all 12!  At ÇaFleureBon we do a series “the 3 you should be wearing” as a guide to our editors’ recommendations. Steven chose his favorite three Initio Parfums fragrances especially for the upcoming spring season and/or if you are new to the brand.-Michelyn Camen, Editor in Chief

Initio Parfums High Frequency (Carnal Collection) is a realistic jasmine fragrance paired with magnolia and uses an overdose of Hedione (first used by fragrance company Firminich in the early 1960s as an alternative to jasmine absolute and was first used in perfumery by the great Edmond Roudnitska in 1966 when he created  Dior’s Eau Sauvage and is proven to have a pheromonal effect) The floral bouquet combines with almond offset by tobacco.

Initio Rehab (from the Hedonist Collection) has a freshness brought out by a burst of bergamot and aromatic lavender. The Vetiver  at the base adds  earthiness and longevity.

Initio Parfums Oud for Happiness (Black and Gold Project) What the world needs now is more happiness. Bright jubilant bergamot paired with spicy ginger as well as green notes that freshen at the middle, rests on a  multi-faceted oud base. (Read Editor Olya Bar’s review here)

All Initio Parfums reviewed above have excellent longevity and are gender-fluid. Each can be worn for day or evening wear but truly bloom in the spring.

I’ve been interested in Initio fragrances for awhile, and Steven did a great job of describing these 3 scents. I live in Maryland USA. I would love to win Rehab.

  • jaysmells says:

Rehab was my scent of the day yesterday! I love its freshness with the lavender and bergamot—it doesn’t get too woody on my skin, but it does have a killer performance even from a small sample. Great info per usual from Steven’s video, his description of the jasmine/almond pairing in High Frequency was intriguing, but in the end Rehab is the one I’ve tested of the three and the one I know I would cherish a bottle of if I were to win it! Thanks a lot!

  • I always love Steven’s videos. My top choices would be Blessed Baraka, Oud for Greatness, or Side Effect. From this group, I think Rehab sounds interesting

  • hshinkoda says:

Great review Steven!!!! I love Initio house. I own two bottles and I would love to add Rehab in my collection!!!! The way you described it makes me happy just thinking about spring coming soon!!! Following you all on Instagram as @Hshinkoda.
    I’m in MA!

  • Steven & Michelyn!!! ❤️❤️❤️ What a great review!!! The bottle of High Frequency is calling to me! These “not quite warm” days are brightened with white florals that put my mind in a springtime mood! Steven’s observations about the photo realism of the jasmine and combination of the magnolia in the heart sound heavenly! Please kindly enter me in the drawing to win a bottle of High Frequency. Thank you for this wonderful opportunity! USA ❤️

Steve always does great reviews and always describes them well and I always enjoy watching them if chosen I’d like Rehab thanks

  • Brad Bradley says:

Steven’s take have cost me a lot of money through the years as he gives flawless takes on different fragrances and while this maybe out of my price range the chance to win a bottle is greatly appreciated.

  • ashrafhachhouch says:

Steven delivers an amazingly balanced review of one of the best fragancehouses. I love the luxurious look, feel and smell of the house. Very nice to interact with some of the lesser known releases.

From this selection (based in Stevens review), Rehab would be my choice.

  • I loved how Steven described Oud for Happiness! It opens fresh and spicy with green notes and dries down with Agarwood, yes, please! I can’t wait to get my nose on this one!

  • Initio’s Oud for Greatness and Absolute Aphrodisiac are some of my faves of that house. I would love to add Rehab in my collection. Thanks!
Following you all on Instagram as @fordthundercougarfalconbird44

  • William Burr says:

    Hey Steven,
I always enjoy your reviews. I have been looking at getting rehab due to its versatility and the lavender note. Keep up the great work.

    Instagram: @w.burr

  • I heard so much about the Fragrance house. Steven did a wonderful job on YouTube introducing these 3 Fragrance. High frequency rehab sounds wonderful that would be my choice. Thank you USA

  • I’ve followed Steven for quite some years now, and I just really enjoy how he’s always able to break notes down in simple terms and even draw comparisons to other fragrances he’s familiar with. Out of the 3, I’d have to say that I’m most interested in Rehab, although it’s always been out of my price range. Great video!

  • extremetraveler says:

Intriguing lineup – and great review! I would be super torn between the three – Oud For Happiness almost feels though as if it would fill a niche in my growing fragrance library that would be hard to duplicate! A gingery zest In a spring-fresh fragrance sounds like an amazing twist… and I’m not gonna lie, the ornate bottle design is super appealing! Can’t wait to sample all of these… spring weather is upon us!

  • Zoran Loncarevic says:

Another great video from Steven. The description of the fragrances makes you want more of it . My favorite here would be Rehab. Greetings from Germany.

  • Greg Graham Sr says:

Hello Steven and Cafleurebon, how are you? Great job on the video and review of the Fragrances. I would love to have High Frequency the Magnolia and Jasmine from the Carnal collection is intriguing to me. I am also from the Magnolia state. Thank you again. Stay safe

  • Joshua Longoria says:

Huge fan of Initio. I have sampled some of them including Oud for Hapiness and would love to win it!

  • Rehab would be my pick.
Out of all of YouTube reviewers, Steven is the best. He is clear and very descriptive in his reviews.
Never smelled any of the Inicio fragrances, but I can imaging the richness of this niche brand.

  • madisonnblanch says:

I was intrigued when Steven compared the almond and jasmine in High Frequency to Hypnotic Poison – one of my absolute favorite fragrances. I would love to add a bottle of Initio Parfums High Frequency to my collection! Instagram: @madisonnblanch

  • Peik Gronvold says:

I have Rehab and High Frequency. Both great. But i would love to smell and own Oud For Happiness.

  • thismustbfixed says:

Steven’s video has made me aware of fragrances I never heard of before & after trying them they turned out to be good.If I could try any of the three listed it would definitely be Rehab.Steven thank for recommendations you are appreciated wishing you more success brother #Pray4Ukraine

  • isrmatdel says:

I always enjoy watching Steven’s videos. His channel is very informative and helpful. A lot of the fragrances in my collection are from his recommendations. This video was particularly helpful in better understanding the DNA of a fragrance house that I have been wanting to try. I would like to win Initio High Frequency or Initio Rehab.

  • TheSaint.3 says:

I think Steven does an amazing job at putting the different fragrances into context. Very interested in trying these fragrances. This is the first time I’ve been introduced to INTITIO PARFUMS

    I want to win:
    Intitio Parfums HIGH FREQUENCY
    Intitio Parfums REHAB
    Intitio Parfums OUD FOR HAPPINESS

  • BoxesFullOfPepe says:

I appreciate Steven’s video for shedding light on High Frequency, as I haven’t heard of that one from Initio. Personally, I love, and have great memories with Rehab, as it’s a fragrance my girlfriend, and I really love, and that she loves to smell on me. I’m alw

  • ericyoo1110 says:

I loved this video initio is my favorite perfume brand and I think that oud for happiness is thebest one of the three mentioned in this video. The fragrance i hope to win is oud for happiness.

  • BoxesFullOfPepe says:

I appreciated Steven’s video as I hadn’t heard of High Frequency from Initio Parfums before. Personally, I love Rehab, and it’s quite special for me, because of the memories it brings to me, spending time with my girlfriend, and how much we both like how it smells on me. If I were to buy a bottle it would definitely be one of Rehab.

  • twiggy3634 says:

Steven talks frequently of this house so I trust his judgement on these. I’d love to win Rehab. I’m in Indiana.

  • I first learned of Initio from one of Steven’s videos, he’s always precise but descriptive to where it’s easily understandable. I would choose Oud For Happiness

  • Joshua Caldwell says:

The way Steve described Oud For Happiness that’s the one I would love to win!

  • All three sound so interesting! To be fair, Steven’s descriptions are always very thoughtful and make me want to try everything he mentions. I have been wanting to try Initio for a while, and as spring is approaching and I live in a warm weather state, the one that interested me more was Rehab. It sounds perfectly comforting and inviting at the same time.

  • Have to agree that Side Effect is a bit more suited to cold weather. I like that Steven highlighted the lavender in Rehab. Most people just focus on the similarity with other fragrances, but there’s more to that fragrance than just the bomb…of…spices. If you know…..yeah. LOL Very interesting description of Oud for Happiness too. Yet to try that one, but Rehab would still be my pick. USA

  • Courtney Palmer says:

Great review Steven. I’ve always had my eye on rehab but now I’m really curious to smell high frequency. I’d love to win rehab

  • Anthony Cruz says:

I just subbed to Steven and the explanations/detailed reviews he’s been giving is making me want to be a cologne snob! I be literally spent 2-4 hours watching his videos since last night and am headed to Macy’s to test out a few he’s mentioned. Really curious to smell this Initio lineup he just reviewed. Love the reviews Steven!

  • James Fitzgerald says:

I have been interested in getting into Initio Parfums after I had a chance to get my nose on a few of the fragrances. I was blown away by Oud for Greatness and Rehab! Steve is one of my favorite fragrance reviewers and I always enjoy the content that he shares.

  • I am in love with Initio perfumes since I smelled oud for greatness, I would love to get my hands on side effect.

  • alexanderr90 says:

Always enjoy Steven’s videos and recommendations. This video makes me very interested in try all 3 of these fragrances. I would like to win Oud for Happiness.

  • Jennifer J says:

High Frequency sounds really good because Steven says it’s similar to one of my favorites, H. Poison which I no longer own. I don’t wear perfume based on season or occasion, so it doesn’t matter as long as I like it. U.S.A.

  • Francisco Salazar says:

Love the article on these particular initio fragrances but one that gets lost in the mix is Devine attraction. In my opinion one of the best leather openings in a fragrance.

  • One impression I got from Steven’s review is that musk often features in fragrances from Initio. I am most intrigued by Oud for Happiness which Steven says opens bright due to bergamot and ginger adds spicy touch to the composition. As it dries down, one notices agarwood among other notes. My choice is Oud for Happiness. I am in US.

  • As usual Steven’s reviews are detailed and effective. I have had a chance to sample Rehab and would love to own a full bottle.

  • Jake Dauod says:

I really liked Steven’s review, as always, but I was surprised that he put Rehab in this list. I have sampled Rehab only once, absolutely adored it, but I would classify it more for colder weather. I haven’t heard much about the other two in the collection, and even though Steven’s review of them was good, I can’t say that the notes are very intriguing for my taste. I know Initio is a great brand, but I have to stick with my nose on this one. If I were to win, I would love Rehab. Thank you so much for this gracious giveaway. Kind regards from IN, USA.

  • Another amazing intuitive video by Steven. I love how intricate his vocabulary is when describing scents. I can feel and almost smell them through the video. Thanks for the chance at the giveaway.

  • As always, Steven does an excellent job in describing these fragrances. The main thing I took away from his video is, High Frequency is not for me! Not the biggest fan of jasmine. He also mentioned that it’s reminiscent of Pegasus, which is also just not for me. Should I win, I’d like Oud for Happiness. I follow you on instagram….sobermindedmusic

  • I must say that from the description of Oud for Happiness, It is a must have for the upcoming spring season. The bright bergamot, the spicy ginger, green notes, and some Agar wood to bring it home. Sounds like the best of both worlds to me. Very informative video as always.

  • As usual, Steven gave a very detailed break down of each of the three fragrances highlighted. I also appreciated him comparing the notes with other fragrances that may be similar to provide a fuller picture of what to expect from each fragrance.
If I win, I would like Rehab.
    Greetings from Maryland, US.

  • Enjoyed the short and sweet review. It’ll be between Rehab and Oud for Happiness for me.
Haven’t smelled Happiness yet and have an idea of what Rehab will smell like. Thanks for the giveaway, Ca

  • New to Steven’s channel – his reviews are detailed, comprehensive and inspiring. Have learned much about fragrance notes from him and about Initio, which was new to me. Oud for Happiness is on my list – Oud and green notes are so appealing ❣️

  • Thank you Steven! Finding a Spring fragrance to wear has been my Achilles heel since I started my olfactory journey.
I had an epiphany while watching your review, I was missing a little spice.
Initio’s REHAB sounds like the perfect match. Bergamot, Lavender not to mention Vetiver (one of my favorite accords ever)
    Greetings from NC, USA.

  • Jim McQuillen says:

Always enjoy Steven’s energy in his videos…a big reason that I am a subscriber! Currently, the only fragrance I have from Initio is Side Effect, which also happens to be my most favorite in my collection! Rehab is next on my list, so it would be fun to win it here in this giveaway! Thank you for the opportunity!

  • I enjoyed Steven’s reviews of the three Initio fragrances that work well for spring. High Frequency sounds beautiful with the magnolia, jasmine, and almond. It’s interesting Steven points out it has a pheromone-like effect but I also like that he described it as clean and tranquil. Rehab does sound like a versatile fragrance and one that would work well in warmer weather. Oud for Happiness has been on my test list since it was released. The combination of notes sounds amazing with licorice, vanilla, green notes, and ginger. I like that Steven points out that it’s fresh and clean, yet still long-lasting. It also sounds perfect for spring. It’s hard to choose between High Frequency and Oud for Happiness, but ultimately, I would love to win Oud for Happiness. I am located in the USA and follow CaFleureBon on Instagram (my IG name is sleeprokop). Thank you for the giveaway!

  • LCasimiro says:

As usual, Steven delivered an informative review of these fragrances. I appreciate his ability to describe fragrances, making me want to try them. I would love to try High Frequency.

  • Thank Steven for introducing new ones from Initio Parfums. Previously smelled Rehab only and I like it so much.
Thanks to Cafleurebon for the excellent draw! I am in the US and if there is any chance I would choose Rehab.

  • After checking out the notes and watching Steven’s videos, I will go with Oud for Happiness as my first choice, were I to win this draw. I enjoy Steven’s videos and am a Redolessence subscriber. What I like about Oud for Happiness is that it has oud or agarwood, but also the bright citrusy and green quality that will make it perfect for spring. I have enjoyed Oud for Greatness so I feel Oud for Happiness will be wonderful to win. Thanks for the great reviews and a very generous draw. I am in the USA.

  • Oh wow. Ok. I can’t imagine owning every release from a brand. That is amazing. If I win, I think I would love Initio Rehab. I am in the S

  • sahilkoirala says:

Your videos are up to the point and very much helpful. I prefer Oud for Happiness, just my type of fragrances. Thanks for the videos.

  • I really love Redolessence videos. I think Steven has a unique way to describe fragrances.
I agree with him that Side Effect is my favorite Initio perfume, but knowing that they have more versatile fragrances is just refreshing.
Oud for Happiness is the one that got more my attention, would really love to try it, specially for the ginger note.

I’m really intrigued by the Initio line of fragrances, I appreciate their focus on gender fluid scents. I would love to try High Frequency. Great reviews, Steve! MD, USA.

  • I always appreciate the precisions of Steven’s description of the fragrances he reviews. If I won the draw, I think I’d pick the Rehab. I’m a Redolessence subscriber and I live in Oklahoma, USA.

  • Andrew DiPaola says:

Great video Steven, definitely the most professional fragrance YouTuber. I’m starting to really love Initio Parfums. Rehab is one of the best fragrances I’ve ever smelled. I also throughly enjoy Side Effect and Oud for Greatness as well. I’d like the chance to win ‘Oud for Happiness’ as the notes really intrigue my taste. Thanks for the opportunity!

  • Andrew DiPaola says:

Great video Steven, consistently the most professional fragrance YouTuber. I really enjoy the house of Initio, Rehab is one of the best fragrances I’ve ever smelled. And OFG and Side Effect are both amazing. I’d like the chance to win Oud for Happiness, as it seems to intrigue the style of fragrance I enjoy the most. Thanks for the opportunity!
    @ Drew_Dip

  • Hadn’t thought of Rehab for hot weather. Definitely want to try that now. That would be my choice. @andreweven

  • Tony Cunningham Jr. says:

Steven’s review was great as always! I’ve been a huge fan of both his channel and Initio Parfums for a while now. His description of each fragrance gave a great idea of how it smells and what occasion fits best for this fragrance!

    I’d love to have Rehab.

    My Instagram is @shootwithtc.

  • I’ve only ever tried Side Effect and Psychedelic Love (small decants) and just love the performance of them. It seems like such an incredible fragrance house and I know it’s one of Steven’s favorites. I loved his description of all 3 scents but I am most drawn to High Frequency, so I would choose that one.
    I live in the USA.

  • Steven is always great with his fragrance descriptions and from these three scents my pick would be Rehab should I win.

    USA

  • Steven has introduced me to so many fragrances and over the past year or more I am sure it was he that first told me about initio. I would love to try oud for happiness. In maryland.

  • ThatMulattoDude says:

One of the things that draws me to Steven’s content besides his general knowledge is his scent memory. It helps when he draws comparisons of new fragrances to ones that many may have smelled previously. Initio is a house I’ve been intrigued by but haven’t sampled yet. Really hoping to win Oud for Happiness out of the 3 featured. Thanks for the opportunity and blessings from Virginia, USA!

  • BeautScent says:

Enjoyed Steve’s video. I actually loved learning that the purple bottles mean they have hedione in them, something I did not know.
I do have Side-Effect decant that I have enjoyed all winter.

My fave would be High Frequency since it has that hedione note that I have been enjoying from Side Effect.

This would be me 1st Initio full bottle and I couldn’t be happier!
    NJ, USA.

  • Thank you for the review, Steven! I still haven’t tried Initio Parfums even though a few have been on my to-try list for a while. Of the three mentioned, Rehab sounds like it would be my favorite and the one I’d like to win. ~Indiana, USA

  • Nadine Abraham says:

Rehab definitely got my attention in this video, I love earthy tone fragrances, they always smell so nice on my husband, and the bottle itself is so beautiful. Love watching your videos they always help me find the perfect colognes for my friends and family!

  • Ive really been getting into Initio lately. This video definitely caught my interest since its Steven and Initio. I sampled Rehab at the store and was thinking this would be a great spring addition. I didn’t pick up on the similarities to spicebomb but its great nonetheless. With that being said I would love to add Rehab to my collection. Thanks Steven!

  • Enjoyed your review as always Steven. You always do such a great job at describing the feeling certain fragrances invoke in you. I’d love to be the winner of “Rehab” by the house Initio as I’ve recently gone through a 3ML sample & absolutely loved the wearing experience!

  • Andrew DiPaola says:

Most professional fragrance YouTuber by far! I love initio parfums, rehab is one of the best scents I’ve ever smelled. And I quite enjoy side effect and OFG. I’d love to enter for the bottle of Oud for Happiness. The notes sound right up to my liking. Thanks for much for the opportunity!

  • IvanVelikov says:

I know 4 Initio Parfums fragrances Side Effect , Oud for Greatness , Atomic Rose and Psychedelic Love , and also in my possession is 7.5ml travel sprayer of Side Effect , my favorite. Now all Initio travel sprays are 10ml , previously they were 7.5ml .
All 3 fragrances in the video I don’t know , if I have to pick one….
Oud for Happiness is right up my alley kind of fragrance, not overly aggressive, cozy , slightly sweet, with really round and soft liquorice root , ginger, oud , cedar and the right amount of cannabis . I know there’s some cannabis , from Steven’s YouTube review.
Perfectly hedonistic fragrance i’d love to win , Oud for Happiness , no doubts about it
Thank you Michelyn, Steven and Fine Fragrances

  • Mazikeen Smith 24 says:

I always love Steven’s reviews! The combination of in-depth, and personal experience with the fragrance is very helpful to us. It paints a great image in our imagination on what to expect, and it truly delivers. Steven’s review is my most trusted review on Youtube, the experience, and knowledge of Steven in terms of fragrances is mind blowing. Like what Brooklynfragrance lover says, Steven always manage to recall a specific fragrance or moment connected to a fragrance, and it is amazing. I hope I have that nose and memory. Thank you for these awesome superb quality reviews! With that being said, I gravitate more towards Rehab. The spring is coming and the notes of Rehab hits just right! I hope I could try an Initio fragrance soon.
Thankyou and Have a good day! USA, SC <3

  • Always appreciate and enjoy Steven’s reviews. I truly feel like he is in a class all his own and handles himself with the utmost level of professionalism and poise. I’ve only tried Oud for Greatness from the House of Initio (liked it!) but out of the three discussed my choice would be Rehab. Fragrances with prominent lavender notes always appeal to me and I am learning that vetiver done the right way is something that I really enjoy. Thanks, as always, for the opportunity and cheers from Illinois, USA!

  • I really enjoyed Stephen’s video as always, including his description of each of the three fragrances with the note breakdown, helping us to get a more accurate image of each one. Initio sounds like an awesome house and I would love trying it for myself. Rob in KY/USA

I’ve only tried Side Effect, so it’ll be good to win this. And if I win, I want High Frequency.

I live in Waldorf l, Maryland, USA.

Thanks for the great review Steven!

I really liked the part where you talk about the play in the different florals in bouquet of jasmine, magnolia and Hedione in High Frequency. I also enjoyed the discussion of Rehab – beautiful notes that are paired in such a fluid fashion. It was cool to hear about the play between the giner and the agarwood in the Oud for Happiness. I also aprreciate that you touched on the difference between this fragrance and Oud for Greatness.

I would love to win a bottle of Oud for Happiness or High Frequency.

    Cheers from WI, USA

  • Michael Prince says:

Steven did an incredible job highlighting his top 3 Initio Parfums Recommendations for the Spring. I’ve heard great things about all 3 fragrances Rehab and Oud For Happiness really interested me based on Steven’s review. Rehab so fresh, spicy, and versatile. Oud For Happiness sounds fresh, spicy, green, and complex. If I win I would pick Rehab. I am from the USA. My instaname is @michaelprincefragrance

  • Uncle1979 says:

There are two Initio Parfums I know now , Oud for Happiness, and Side Effect. The greenness in Oud for Happiness resembles marijuana .
I wonder why both Michelyn , and Steven did not mentioned the marijuana??
I’m thinking about Space Cake , with lots of ginger, you can get in most coffee shops in Netherlands, and now in some states in US. In the state I’m currently living, and working I’m not legally allowed to make , and sell Space Cakes to customers at my bakery.
The other Initio Parfums fragrance i know is Side Effect, smells similar to Vanilla Bean Bundt Cake , drizzled with Rum.
I’d like to win Oud for Happiness
Appreciate Michelyn introduction, Steven mini reviews, and the giveaway campaign

We have 3 modern, multifaceted fragrances today , all with a high compliment factor . Being a vain man I need to smell good, but also compliments are important to me.
With Oud for Happiness I’ll get a lot of positive attention, smelling amazing. The citruses, the ginger, the cookies are all so appealing to me. The “green” elements will give the fragrance modern vibe , making it more enigmatic.
Oud for Happiness would be my choice
Side Effect i like a lot , and now have the small 7.5ml atomizer.
    Overly exciting giveaway, USA

I never grow tired of listening to Steven’s reviews. He always piques something of interest in my fragrance journey. Even on fragrances that I am familiar with and/or already own. I find him to be one of my most valuable resources on this journey. Thank you Steven 🙂
I currently own Oud for Greatness and Side Effect and they both reside in the top tier of my collection. While each one of the fragrances presented in Steven’s review and this article all offer something of interest to me, I’m am most drawn to Oud for Happiness. The ginger and green/herbal notes are calling my name 🙂 . So, naturally, if I were to win, my choice would be Oud for Happiness. Thank you for the opportunity. I live in the USA.

  • I haven’t tried anything yet from Initio Parfums, but I’d like to try their collected works. I’ve seen a video which Steven made a while ago about this fragrance house, and then too he caused me to be intrigued to try their fragrances. If I win the draw, then I’d choose “Rehab” because I like a lot of its notes. I live in the U.S.A. Thanks for the giveaway opportunity. I follow Cafleurebon on Instagram (@regismonkton).

  • Steven review of these Initio gems was very informative. He has a way of explaining the scent profile that is 2nd to non.
Initio Rehab is the one I would love to win and wear for Spring.
Thanks for an awesome giveaway, as Spring is right around the corner.loved. CA,USA I follow you on instagram @calicalnurse.

I’m well familiar with all Initio Parfums fragrances , if I have to rate Steven’s top 3 for a warmer weather:
    1.Oud for Happiness
    2.High Frequency
    3.Rehab
My overall Initio Parfums rating would be:
    1. Side Effect
    2. Oud for Happiness
    3. Oud for Greatness/Absolute Aphrodisiac
High Frequency is like a love child of Parfums de Marly Pegasus, and Initio Parfums Psychedelique Love , the two sister companies under the same umbrella. To me there’s more almonds than jasmine, and thankfully the jasmine is not indolic.
I don’t smoke, but marijuana accord is easily detectable in Oud for Happiness , why not even a word of it?
Oud for Happiness is such a fun and uplifting scent. I was a bit scared if marijuana accord will dominate the whole fragrance, thankfully it’s playing it’s role in the background. The fragrance is a lot sweeter, than I expected, it feels kind of crunchy , ginger cookies comparison Olya made a few months back was spot on. Performance is awesome.
Oud for Happiness I’d love to win
    All profiles I already follow , @waltherp99bg

  • Great review Steven—I particularly enjoyed your description of Oud for Happiness. I love the smell of ginger, and I had no idea what to expect about how that note would interact with a green mid or an oud base. I’m intrigued!

I’d love to win Oud for Happiness. Thanks, @mmerline, Midwest USA

  • I own Oud for Greatness , considered by many the best one in Initio Parfums catalog , and I’m sure I’ll also enjoy Oud for Happiness. The first is formal occasions only fragrance , the way i wear it at least, but the Happiness relative is more versatile, and easy to wear , from day time family gatherings , to going out with friends , or weddings .Long lasting fragrances are always welcome , and I think all Initio Parfums fall in the same category.
I’ll be happy to win Oud for Happiness
    Thanks for the draw

Words cannot say how much I appreciate Steven‘s consistency and the effort he goes through. I found out about Cafleurebonthrough him many months ago. Reading the blogs and keeping in touch on IG, I learn so much on a weekly basis about so much. For Steven to pick out three of the 12 for right now is definitely a challenge. Yet Steven‘s opinion is not only honorable and genuine it is trusted and true. I love the way he compared and contrasted the three and per usual, he highlighted how beautiful all three of these scents are and how they all fit into so many different occasions for now and the coming spring. Every evening, like clockwork he posts a review. It may seem silly but it’s the only consistent and regular thing within this last year for me especially losing both of my parents. I have smelled “Oud For Happiness” and I would be honored and elated to win it. It truly does make me happy I can’t wait to smell other Initio fragrances. Musk Therapy is definitely a summer/springtime stunner as well.

I have been following all three Instagram pages for quite some and regularly interact with the daily post as well as the stories. On Instagram, my handle is: RareTemple_ and on Youtube Terracotta Kim

  • It’s interesting how i only know two Initio Prives , and both are included in Steven’s video .
Rehab is one of my husband’s favorite fragrances. Since i wear it too , i can say on him is really spicy, woody aromatic, exactly what he likes , but on me smells similar to Lavender French Hard Candy from L’Ami Provencal i purchase for many, many years from Amazon.
My younger cousin 24 , bought Oud for Happiness , and I was able to i try it just recently, and it’s a true seductive potion, rather than a mood enhancer.
When I tried the fragrance on skin , everything green disappeared quickly, and what was left, was a sexy mixture of liquorice, ginger, cassis, sandalwood (and not oud) and vanilla.
I’d love to win Oud for Happiness
    Thank you for the opportunity

  • As someone who has not dabbled or sampled anything in this house yet, I appreciated the very educational manner of this video from Steven. It was a great guide for where to start, especially coming into warmer weather, and I like that he chose 3 that fit that bill. I also wasn’t aware of the significance of the purple bottles! Mentioning the other scents that these have been compared to gave me a solid idea of which ones I would like best of the 3. Very articulate review! Thank you for the chance.

I would love High Frequency. I live in Pennsylvania, USA.

Wonderful review Steven! I thought Steven’s review was really thoughtful in the way that not only did he pick some perfect fragrances for spring time, but he also really took the time to highlight some lesser known, more unconventional selections of perfumes of the brand. While I have tried High Frequency and enjoy it, I know it’s not one of Initio’s most popular releases. Meanwhile, I have not tried Rehab and have not even heard of Oud for Happiness! So I really appreciate Steven highlighting these selections in this video and can’t wait to try these two.

If I were to win, I would want to win Oud for Happiness! I am following your new Instagram page @cafleruebonoffical and my Insta name is momo.liu.121 and I am also a Redolessence subscriber.
