Histoires de Parfums Irreverent, Prolixe and Outrecuidant

Gérald Ghislain, the founder and Creative Director of Histoires de Parfums announced the En Aparté, a trilogy of fragrances meant to evoke stories in scent the way books evoke emotions in November. With this collection, which includes Irreverent, Prolixe and Outrecuidant, M. Ghislain's intent is to reinvent ‘classic’ olfactive categories in unconventional ways. He enlisted three perfumers (Luca Maffei, Julien Rasquinet and Fanny Bal, giving them each the freedom to express them by breaking rules of classic perfumery. Luca Maffei, (who was just featured in our CaFleureBon Best Perfumes of 2017), composed Histoires de Parfums Irrévérent, which is a resinous oriental. The Histoires De Parfums En Aparte collection is sold out and not available in the U.S.A. yet; we were very fortunate to obtain samples of all three for a draw.
