We have been writing about Gallagher Fragrances since 2017 (Robert Herrmann, RIP did the first review for Tulip Silk, which is back as a limited edition.

Daniel Gallagher and Mindy Ruiz

I met Daniel Gallagher and his wife Mindy Ruiz when they won the Aftel Award for Handmade Perfume at the Olfaction Award 2022 for Behold Patchouli at the World Perfumery Congress in Miami. Daniel is the sole perfumer for the brand and Mindy plays an important advisory role. In 2017, Daniel Gallagher was serving in the rank of Captain as an Air Force Cyberspace Defense Officer in the US Air Force, which is when he became the 123rd  olfactive artist in Profiles in American Perfumer Series.-Michelyn Camen, Editor-in-Chief

Gallagher Fragrances

Choosing only 3 Gallagher Fragrances wasn’t easy, but Steven Gavrielatos aka REDOLESSENCE co-curated three of our favorites:

Gallagher Fragrances Wicked Good (2019) is excellence in artisan perfumery. The combination of just three listed ingredients: chocolate, vanilla, and tonka bean is as sweet as it can be, and the balance of ingredients is just right. Easy- to-wear, and the long-lasting aroma will leave you smelling delicious all day long. It was launched as a limited edition but became so popular that it was released on a large scale. – Steven and Michelyn

Gallagher Fragrances Purple Powder launched in 2023 and both Sandi, and I named it in our top 10 perfumes of the year!  Rarely have I been so taken by a fragrance that I (abashedly) asked the artisan perfumer for a tester. Purple Powder is truly my pick for the most unique in our curation. There are a myriad of olfactive hues- brown, red, yellow, orange and of course purple. A sign of a talented perfumer is one that can take all nearly 50 ingredients and blend them to perfection.-Michelyn

“Featured Notes” per Gallagher Fragrances: Yellow Mandarin, Calabrian Lemon, Litsea Cubeba, Bergamot, Bitter Orange, Black and Pink Pepper, Magnolia, Lily, Iris Powder, Texas Cedar, Sweet Acorn, Amber, Benzoin, Toasted Cinnamon, Patchouli Heart, Hay Absolute, Labdanum, Madagascar Vanilla Absolute, Styrax, Vetiver, and Musk.

Gallagher Fragrances TONKAPEACH Pearlescent Parfum (2023): This peach gourmand perfume has the most photo-realistic peach note I have smelt in years and rivals one of my favorites as best PEACH perfume ever (MDCI Peche Cardinale which was created by a classically trained perfumer). According to the brand, it was inspired by a family gathering at Mindy’s Father’s house and his Peach Cobbler. Although a puff pastry note is listed, it doesn’t overwhelm the composition. My skin amplifies the juiciness of the peaches and  the tonka beans which smell like they were soaked in prosecco. I haven’t seen my family for a while now, and after a challenging spring, TONKAPEACH is what I will wear when we get together. –Michelyn

Notes: Champagne, Peach, Blackcurrant, Rose Water, Iris, Neroli, Sandalwood, Puff Pastry, Tonka Bean, Patchouli, Musk.

Pearlescent Parfums was formally launched in 2021. Pearlescent Parfums was later merged under Gallagher Fragrances in 2023 and is now referred to as the Pearlescent Collection by Gallagher Fragrances. *

Disclosure: Steven and Michelyn received bottles; opinions their own

  • I have been looking for some additional spring/summer fragrances. After watching the video I am now looking to purchase Purple Powder and Tonka Peach. I wish you both good luck with the release of your new fragrances.

  • This house looks so intriguing. I’ve heard good things but haven’t dove into them yet. As a lover of all things iris, I think Purple Powder sounds amazing. From what I’m seeing here (aand have seen elsewhere), it’s a crazy complex take on iris that gives a taste of classic powdery and rooty iris combined with a purple fantasy take on it. Like Michelyn said, to take a laundry list of notes and blend them to perfection takes unbelievable talent and skill. I would love to see how Daniel has managed to work his magic on this one. I also love the fact it took Michelyn aback so much that she straight up asked for a tester. (Love it!). Steven praised its unique artistic qualities, which has me even more curious. Needless to say, Purple Powder is the one I would choose should my comment be selected. Best of luck to everyone. I live in NC, USA.

I am very well aware of Gallagher Fragrances and yes, Cafleurebon has been preaching to us about the brand for quite a few years. Reading the ingredients and how strong/high quality the materials are, Gallagher is a house to watch out for. Wicked Good has my 3 favorite notes in fragrances: chocolate, vanilla and Tonka bean, I’d love to win this one. This is truly a house I admire and I cannot wait to dive into more. Would love to win Wicked Good. Cheers from NJ, USA.

  • ryanapostolo says:

I am continually impressed by Steven’s knowledge about fragrances and the number of houses he has experience with. I also liked how the intro to this article helped me get to know the perfumers better.

“I had been wearing designer fragrances since high school (which seems so long ago, now), most of which were fairly common and inoffensive to the majority of people.”

  • What a wonderful review of some of Gallagher Fragrances’ best works, and a excellent introduction by Michelyn! I would love to win Wicked Good!

  • I would love to win TONKA PEACH. The notes sound amazing and the fact that the peach last throughout the life of the fragrance is a beautiful thing. Peach cobbler was definitely a staple in my family, my grandmother always made it so, with her recently passing this would be something that would remind me of her ..

  • I am excited at the chance to try any of these Gallagher fragrances, I have only read about them! I’m not sure Wicked Good is my style (although the name is a perfect reference to it’s New England roots), but I have been so curious about Purple Powder from all the articles put out, and Steven’s review emphasizing it’s “gentleness” and “artistic-ness” makes it moreso. But I think TonkaPeach may be the most wearable for me personally – it sounds juicy, but Michelyn’s reference to prosecco brings it up a notch for me in having a celebratory tone. I am really craving fragrances that are uplifting.
And here is where I must thank the editors of Cafleurbon for the incentive to read additional articles… In reading the interview from Daniel’s profile, I discovered that this talented artist grew up so nearby!!! I am a native of Vermont, and very familiar with Norwich University and the scent of autumn there, and now live within an hour of Worcester, MA, where he grew up. I truly appreciate that his inspiration for pursuing fragrance creation came out of a dissatisfaction with the mainstream options. I am not a perfumist, but experienced a similar longing for the unique and excellent. I never knew there were such talented perfumers in this region until reading on Cafleurbon!! I really think Ida should organize a Boston event for local fragrance artists and fans (hint hint..). In the meantime, I am grateful for this generous draw. I live in NH, USA.

I had a sample from Gallagher fragrances. I think it was mists of time. It was unique and quite powerful. I really like it

  • I bought Amongst Waves not to long ago and love it. The melon note is great and lasts. I also purchased a sample of Fineapple and enjoy that one as well. Steven, from redolessence, was the one that actually informed me about Amongst Waves which lead me to purchase it. When I heard about this give a way from Steven’s video I knew I had to sign up for it as I value his assessment of various colognes. Reading MIchelyn’s review of Tonka Peach had me sold with the lovely description of the notes. I love Amongst Waves so I had to go with this quote, “I had a sudden urge to create something that was a bit more fruity “aquatic” than the pre-existing “aquatic” fragrances in today’s market.” Thanks for making unique fragrances and my choice of fragrance is Tonka Peach if I win.

  • Spring fragrances evoke the essence of blooming flowers and fresh greenery, creating a delicate and uplifting olfactory experience. Looking forward to purchasing Tonka peach 🙂

  • Galbeaza Iustin says:

Purple Powder’s notes look amazing! It’s the first time I hear about this house and the products look really good.

  • Eris.can.swatch.kaos says:

I’d love to win TonkaPeach by Gallagger Parfum’s Pearlescent Collection. The description in the review as well as the video paint a picture of ripe peaches being eaten while sitting on an old porch swing. Aaaaaand, I love Tonka so much, the depth it adds to a fragrance is outstanding.
“I recall vividly, the smell of the cigars that George used to smoke near-daily”
    I live in Oregon

  • From the written opening I learned Daniel and Mindy have won an Aftel award. From the video I learned the notes are listed on the bottles of this brand. Quote from Daniel’s profile, ” I joined the Junior Reserve Officer Training Corps (JROTC) program in high school”. If chosen I pick Wicked Good. US

  • Sherin Thomas says:

I dont own anything from Gallagher Fragrance. Wicked good draws my attention because of the madagascar vanilla . From PA,USAs

  • I enjoyed reading about these fragrances, especially the mention of peach cobbler! I liked Steven’s description of a smooth iris perfume. If lucky, my choice is Purple Powder. Michigan USA

  • Kelly Atwood says:

Rose All Dae is one of my all time favorite fragrances and so I am excited to dive into this house more! I’ve been looking for a peach fragrance that keeps its “peachiness” for the full wear. As Steven mentioned, I love Bitter Peach but the dry down morphs into a completely different fragrance when I want it to stay peachy the whole way through. Also super cool to hear that Daniel was serving in the Air Force while making perfumes! I’d love to be entered for a bottle of TonkaPeach. I am also in Texas 🙂

  • jlsteckley says:

Both this review and Steven’s video really highlight these fragrances. I’ve been on the hunt for a peach fragrance for a while and Tonka Peach just may be it!

    From the USA

  • I liked how Steven and Michelyn describe Purple Powder and I’ve been longing to try it. I am in California. That would be my pick if I’m so lucky to win. Thank you for the opportunity.

  • Wonderful intros, Michelyn – and it definitely made me want to try Purple Powder, I love fragrances that truly evoke a color. Steven’s video solidified my choice of TonkaPeach – peach is probably my favorite note and it’s even better when it’s truly realistic as Steven described. I would be thrilled to win a bottle of TonkaPeach!
Here’s the quote I’ll include from the profile:
“I was wearing a designer fragrance and my girlfriend returned home from work one day and told me, without missing a beat, that her co-worker wears the same exact fragrance. Needless to say, this fragrance made its way to the back of the shelf.”
That made me laugh. I don’t like being caught wearing the same fragrance as someone else either…
    I’m in the USA.

  • I have tried a few Gallagher perfumes, and ended up purchasing Behold, Patchouli and Midnight Jasmine (this is from pearlescent). Stephen knows how to sell the scents and although Wicked Good IS wicked good I do own Behold Patchouli which has a similar gourmand vibe, so he is steering me towards either Purple Powder or Tonkapeach, just which one? I think I’d have to pick Purple Powder just because it comes so highly recommended. I hate decisions. In maryland.

  • LightOfJoy says:

Steven made a great point in that Tonkapeach’s peach is long lasting. The dry down is just amazing and addictive.

I agree with Michelyn that in Purple Powder there are a myriad of olfactive hues, she put it beautifully! I’d even add sepia in there. It’s just exquisite.

“Truth be told, Mindy is the impetus for me becoming an artisan perfumer.” -Daniel Gallagher

I love this quote, because we have such a large influence on our spouse’s lives. We can challenge and charge each other to do things we may not have otherwise.

I’m so glad Daniel became a perfumer! Mists of time, O’Fraiche, and Tonkapeach are well loved favorites in my house. I don’t own it, but Amongst Waves is fantastic. Gallagher and Pearlescent Parfums are truly unique offerings, and their customer service is top notch.

I live in Texas, USA and I would love to win a bottle of Purple Powder, which I have tested and adore.

  • WillRhodes says:

Always love your videos Steven! Purple Powder has been on my wish list for some time now and would love to add third beautiful fragrance to my wardrobe!
    In Chicago

  • These all sound delightful, but I am most curious to try Purple Powder. I liked how Steven talked about synesthesia with this scent because while each flower is unique, I also feel like there is a distinctively purple thread of similarity between many of the purple flowers I adore, like lilac and hyacinth. I am also very curious to try it based on Michelyn’s description of it being so unique, and combining so many different ingredients. I also enjoyed this quote: “ My goal is not to recreate something that I already own, but to create something that nobody owns, because it hasn’t been done before. To me, this is what is means to be an American Perfumer; to be a pioneer.” Thanks and hello from CO, USA!

  • I really love Gallagher fragrances aesthetic. The commitment to quality is evident in the selection and blending of notes. Each of the three fragrances Steven and Michelyn highlighted have a uniqueness that sets them apart from so many other perfumes. I’ve tried Tonka Peach and I love that peach note but I’m gravitating towards Purple Powder because I want to experience the iris powder. I’m in the US.

From the article: “ My goal is not to recreate something that I already own, but to create something that nobody owns, because it hasn’t been done before. To me, this is what is means to be an American Perfumer; to be a pioneer.”

  • Every business owner, especially small business owners should push the boundaries, I do it all the time, and I’m glad Daniel Gallagher and Mandy Rui are doing the same thing.

“A mentor of mine all throughout high school was the Senior Aerospace Science Instructor, a retired US Air Force Colonel. He asked me if I wanted to pursue a career in the military and at the time, I didn’t really have anything else in mind (but what 17-year old does?), so I said “definitely.” The Colonel recommended one military college to me: Norwich University.”

What a story , I can definitely relate to because in a similar manner I had the honor of meeting, training for years, and working under the great Pierre Hermé, top 3 Pastry Chefs and Chocolatiers in the world. I’m glad the retired US Air Force Colonel took Daniel Gallagher under his wing , by so making him stronger physically and mentally.
Gallagher Fragrances do have some great gourmands , I’m glad Michelyn and Redolessence picked 2 of my favorite genre.

☆ Wicked Good smells like Chocolate Ganache Cake, so realistic and one of the best chocolate fragrances on the market
☆ Purple Powder is artistic iris ,with rarely seen in perfumes litsea cubeba . Being a Pastry Chef in terms of desserts almost all the time I use it with cinnamon, and the fact that Purple Powder possesses both intrigues me.
    ☆ Tonkapeach

“According to the brand, it was inspired by a family gathering at Mindy’s Father’s house and his Peach Cobbler”

Wow from a classically trained Pastry Chef with affinity for family gatherings, Mindy Ruiz father signature Peach Cobbler recipe, delicious gourmand and positive attitude, together with the “soaked in prosecco” extra information , I absolutely LOVE the whole picture here, thank you Michelyn
Out of Wicked Good and Tonkapeach , I’d slightly prefer Wicked Good just because of the chocolate.
Appreciate the introduction, the reviews , Daniel Gallagher “Profiles in American Perfumery” article, and the giveaway campaign

  • IvanVelikov says:

I don’t exactly have my own signature dessert like Mindy Ruiz father , or having such remarkable military carrier , but I’m impressed by Daniel Gallagher life journeys , I truly am. I admire people who know what they want in life, and most importantly how to achieve their goals . Being independent nowadays is admirable.
From Gallagher Fragrances I own Amongst Waves , tropical and happy marine fragrance with juicy melon.
Wicked Good is sophisticated gourmand , sweet and easy to wear, with balance between the chocolate, vanilla and tonka bean.
With iris , cinnamon and so much class Purple Powder is dressed sharp fragrance , refined and elegant.
TONKAPEACH do possess some of Amongst Waves happy markers, joyful reunions , comforting sweetness of home made peache cobbler and prosecco wine.

“On May 9th, 2009, I graduated from Norwich University with a Bachelor of Science degree with a focus on Computer Security and Information Assurance. The following day, I commissioned as a 2nd Lieutenant in the US Air Force as a Communications Officer. Present-day, I am serving in the rank of Captain as an Air Force Cyberspace Defense Officer.”
    – Daniel Gallagher

From the oldest private military college in US, to 2nd Lieutenant and even Captain, patience is always the key. I do believe i’m quite talented and yet I was apprentice for 10 years before I even started calling myself a tailor.
I wish i was able to win all Wicked Good, Purple Powder and TONKAPEACH , but if I should choose one, it would be Wicked Good.
Thank you Michelyn, Steven, Daniel Gallagher

  • Nice introduction to Gallagher Fragrances. I haven’t had a chance to try their newer releases, but Behold Patchouli and Mists of Time are both excellent. Michelyn’s comments about Purple Powder stood out to me; I had noticed the surprisingly extensive notes list and it’s impressive that Daniel makes them all work together cohesively. Steven reminded me of Gallagher’s wonderful new bottles. Also, I’m intrigued by something more “on the artistic side,” which makes me want to try Purple Powder even more. It sounds like an unusual iris.

Thanks for linking to Daniel’s Profile in American Perfumery. This quote stood out: “My most recent release, Amongst Waves, came to be after I had a sudden urge to create something that was a bit more fruity “aquatic” than the pre-existing “aquatic” fragrances in today’s market. The name for the creation is derived from the song “Amongst the Waves” by Pearl Jam, one of my favorite bands.” I love Pearl Jam and had no idea this fragrance was named after that song.

I’m in the USA. If I were to win, I’d choose Purple Powder. Thanks!

  • Overall great review and in depth review by both Steven and Michelyn. Really like TONKAPEACH based on the reviews as well as the prior blog that only covered TONKAPEACH, but overall all three Gallagher Fragrances sound incredible in their own regard and their quality show through the review. Would love to win TONKAPEACH if i could, and am in TX, USA.
Quote from Daniel’s Profile is “To me, this is what is means to be an American Perfumer; to be a pioneer.”

  • What appeals to me in Michelyn and Steven co-reviews is how genuinely amazed they are by Gallagher Fragrances as a brand , and in particular Wicked Good, Purple Powder and TONKAPEACH.
Quite alluring, modern take on chocolate fragrance , that smells like very expensive hand made Belgian chocolate, so realistic , so Wicked Good 🙂
Purple Powder is complex, woody , spicy iris fragrance engulfing the wearer with a cozy transitional weather aura.
I so love how Michelyn said TONKAPEACH has the most photorealistic peach note , and basically captures the essence of treasured family gatherings, and Mindy Ruiz father signature peache cobbler. The fragrance is sweet, juicy fruity, there’s a prosecco note , like a homestyle dessert made with love.

“My goal is not to recreate something that I already own, but to create something that nobody owns, because it hasn’t been done before. To me, this is what is means to be an American Perfumer; to be a pioneer.”
Quote is from Daniel Gallagher American Perfumery essay.
After some hesitation Wicked Good would be my choice if I happen to be the winner
    Thanks for the draw

  • I have been following up with Gallagher Fragrances since I first read an article that was on the site and I have actually smelled a few of their scents and ran through a decant of Wicked Good. Like Steven said the the delicate smoothness provided from the Tonka along with that chocolate…..goodness. Now the one that really has my attention is TONKAPEACH. Tonka bean is one of my top 3 fav notes and to mix that with peach? I just know it is juicy delight like Michelyn states. Peach just pops off my skin so I know this has to smell amazing. Fleshy and Ripe like Steven says in his video…brings me back to being at my great-grandma’s house under the peach tree she had growing in the back yard.

  • Gallagher Fragrances is one of my favorite US fragrance houses. The three featured in this article- Wicked Good, Tonkapeach, and Purple Powder- are all great! I agree with Steven that they are all must-try fragrances. Wicked Good is easy to wear and delicious, as mentioned by Michelyn and Steven. I agree with Michelyn that Purple Powder really is quite unique. It’s a beautiful and smooth fragrance, just as Steven points out. As someone who generally doesn’t like strong peach fragrances, I actually love Tonkapeach! I can see why Michelyn says it rivals MDCI Peche Cardinale (which is a beautiful fragrance). Peach Cobbler is one of my all-time favorite desserts, so Tonkapeach is a true love for me.

I would love to own a bottle of Tonkapeach! Also, I read Daniel’s profile in the 2017 article that was posted in 2017. “Mindy is the impetus for me becoming an artisan perfumer”- I loved reading that Daniel’s wife was the reason he got into perfumery!

Thank you, Michelyn and Steven, for the great reviews, and thank you to Gallagher Fragrances for the giveaway! I am located in the USA.

  • foreverscents says:

I like that Michelyn wrote she will wear TONKAPEACH to a family gathering. I also liked her description of Purple Powder as having a myriad of olfactive hues. Steven complimented the artistic nature of Purple Powder. I would choose Purple Powder because I love all the notes (50!) in the fragrance.
Here is a quote from the interview: “My collection is for my own pleasure, sure, but it is also a metaphorical library from which I learn.”
    I live in the USA.

From Gallagher Fragrances I know Amongst Waves, Rose All Dae and Behold Patchouli. Currently I have Rose All Dae, and Amongst Waves . I had Amongst Waves 5 years ago , it was my go-to in the Summer of 19′ , and in March I decided to buy another bottle for the upcoming Summer season.
Wicked Good i think is modern, multifaceted fragrance with a high compliment factor. All nuances Michelyn and Steven told us about i find attractive, the chocolate, vanilla and tonka ,and especially the naturally smelling and long lasting aroma.
Purple Powder i like for its complexity, iris , toasted cinnamon and according to Michelyn blended to perfection ingredients.
I wonder why I haven’t smelled TONKAPEACH yet , I like everything about it, the family gatherings, the home made dessert and the cozy feel of the fragrance.

“The first of the two childhood homes was a two-story home with a basement. We lived there with my paternal grandfather’s friend, George. He preferred to live in the basement, which was mostly renovated and like a second living space, so my family and I lived in the two top levels of the house. I recall vividly, the smell of the cigars that George used to smoke near-daily.”

All is from Daniel Gallagher essay , and made me smile because of the childhood memories of his .
After all the chocolate harmonic warmth of Wicked Good attracts me the most, my choice
My favorite Gallagher Fragrances perfume is Rose All Dae
    Overly exciting giveaway, USA

I’ve been dreaming for some time now on spending time in the South, particularly Georgia and the Carolinas. It is a far dream to me, but TonkaPeach takes me to the places I have yet to visit.
I agree with Mindy that TonkaPeach is such a photorealistic peach fragrance that gives you an instant feeling of warmth and home. It imprints a memory of rich moments in the outdoors surrounded by nature and peach trees that you may have had or are dreaming of having.
Steven’s review of the three top fragrances shows diversity in taste- from the rich deep powdery chocolate that is Wicked Good to the juiciest of peaches.
I haven’t had the chance to try Purple Powder yet, but I’m intrigued in how the combination of Iris and Cinnamon would play in a fragrance.
If I could win any of these three, I’d love to win Tonka Peach. I need to help extend my daydreaming from my sample vials to one that I can revisit throughout the year.

Michelyn, had a great introduction talking about Daniel Gallagher and Mindy Ruiz. I didn’t know Daniel was a Captain in the Air Force. Steven picked 3 amazing fragrances from Gallagher Fragrances! I am huge fan of the house. Daniel Gallagher is a very talented perfumer. I personally own Purple Powder which is a truly captivating fragrance and is so unique. TonkaPeach is a stunning semigourmand fragrance which I love. Wicked Good is a beautiful gourmand featuring chocolate and vanilla. I would love to win Wicked Good. I am from Ohio, USA.

  • I’m looking at my empty oval shaped bottles of iLoreN and Bergamust , and I’m thinking..time flies so incredibly fast. It was 2016 when I discovered Daniel Gallagher work, when I watched Steven and Carlos video on YouTube , RIP good guy. Ever since I’m Daniel supporter , I love not just his fragrances ,but also his approach to customers. My first order was the long discontinued iLoreN , and my last Septamber , and Daniel has always been helpful to me , answering all my extra questions , and replying to every DM and comment on Instagram.
I’m familiar with all his work, and if I had to rate my favorite ones available on the market right now , and recommend 3 to the Cafleurebon readers
    1. Rosé All Day
    2. Carpe Cafe , the second, reworked limited edition version. Again Daniel explained me on Instagram the differences between the two versions
    3. Wicked Good / Baklava / TONKAPEACH
I’m very much surprised that Michelyn actually chose Wicked Good, the fragrance is indeed gooey sweet and long lasting, but I wouldn’t call it “easy to wear” . It’s very thick, and at least I perceive a strong boozy note , whiskey maybe?
Purple Powder like because of the the level of sophistication, cozy atmosphere and the iris…
TONKAPEACH i love for various reasons, the comfortable feeling coming from the fragrance, the juicy sugared peaches, different layers from sweet to woody , to floral and boozy. As a teetotaller I’m definitely not some alcohol expert like Michelyn , although I can say TONKAPEACH is more boozy on my skin, than it is on hers. What I get in terms of alcohol in not wine in the background, but well pronounced whiskey. TONKAPEACH is to me is even more boozy than Wicked Good.
Parfums MDCI Peche Cardinal Michelyn spoke of ( whiteout the E at the end) is indeed really good fragrance , with sweet peaches also heavy on the white florals and absinthe.

“At this point, I visited your normal fragrance shops that carry the normal crowd-pleasing designer fragrances, but I couldn’t find any that really interested me. I began to branch out into indie/niche fragrances. After trying out a handful, I realized that these were quality products that had greater longevity, but more to my satisfaction, they were far more unique! But, something still wasn’t sitting quite right. I had a creative itch one day and began researching perfumery and the rest is history, as they say”

Good old days of being a niche and indie noob , i remember the feeling 🙂
By the way looking at Daniel Gallagher American Perfumery essay, on the last picture is the original bottle of Carpe Cafe, and also Peaches and Campfire. Last year when I asked him on Instagram Daniel said he do have 24′ plans to bring back , as limited edition reworked version of Peaches and Campfire , let’s see what happens, unfortunately my original bottle was stolen from me. Please make it happen Daniel .
I’d like to win Wicked Good
    All profiles I already follow , @waltherp99bg

  • Great reviews by Michelyn and Steven…as always 🙂
I find Gallagher fragrances to offer quality, unique scents that are intriguing from start to finish. One of my favorites from this house is from the Pearlescent Collection. It is Tonkazure. Uniquely wonderful.
While I find each of the fragrances in this article to offer something of value to me, the one that seems to vibe most with me is Purple Powder.

  • Quite a colorful personality, Captain in US Airforce, husband, perfumer , music lover and a dreamer . I like how Daniel Gallagher actually started his fragrance journey ->

Truth be told, Mindy is the impetus for me becoming an artisan perfumer. The story goes…
    ….
I was wearing a designer fragrance and my girlfriend returned home from work one day and told me, without missing a beat, that her co-worker wears the same exact fragrance. Needless to say, this fragrance made its way to the back of the shelf.

Smelling good and unique is a must , at least for me.
Sweet delicious and long lasting chocolate, delicate smoothness, well hello Wicked Good.
I like the one of a kind bend in Purple Powder , with rare ingredients like sweet acorn, litsea cubeba and toasted cinnamon, iris and the musk.
TONKAPEACH i actually own , love the way Michelyn depicted the contrast in TONKAPEACH between the the mouthwatering peaches , puff pastry accord on one hand, and in the other the prosecco. I do agree there’s nothing overwhelming in TONKAPEACH, the blend is perfect.
Other than TONKAPEACH i also own Amongst Waves , but I need to explore more of Daniel Gallagher Fragrances.
I’m going with Wicked Good today , eating chocolate is one of my guilty pleasures
Thanks to Michelyn I’ll treat myself with Peach Belini now , cheers and thank you for the opportunity

Thanks for the great writeup Michelyn and video Steven! As both of you have indicated, Purple Powder is quite an interesting fragrance.

I went over to the website and the list of notes is quite beautiful. I think the sentiment behind going on a long olfactive journey – especially in cooler weather is one that I enjoy. There is a great deal of satisfaction to the nose when getting everchanging sniffs of a fragrance from under flannel/warm clothes.

Read through Daniel’s profile and I was suprised to see Tom Scholz mentioned, who I am a big fan of.
