Esxence 2019: Atelier des Ors Riviera Drive, Atelier des Ors Pomelo Riviera and Atelier des Ors Riviera Lazuli+ Riviera Collection Draw

Atelier des Ors Riviera Collection Review

Scene from 1955 To Catch A Thief with Cary Grant and Grace Kelly

The carefree, cinematic romances of the 1950s, 60s and 70s, set against the sunshine and glamour of the Côte d’ Azur, were the stuff my adolescent dreams were made of.  Films like Alfred Hitchcock’s “To Catch a Thief” distilled and fixed in my mind the elegance and the spirit of the times. Today, as I write this review of Atelier des Ors’ three new fragrances in The Riviera Collection, (Atelier des Ors Riviera Drive, Pomelo Riviera and Riviera Lazuli), I find myself re-living my youthful fantasies of the French Riviera.

Marie Salamagne and Jean-Phillipe Clermont of Atelier Des Ors

Like treasured postcards from long lost friends – or current photos from my granddaughter as she vacations in Nice – the perfumes of the Atelier des Ors Riviera Collection,  composed under the creative direction of Jean- Philippe Clermont and award winning perfumer Marie Salamagne, revive my memories, painting olfactory pictures of scenic drives, fragrant gardens and the deep azure blue of the Mediterranean.

The first breath of Riviera Drive is very fresh, a little wild and ever so exhilarating. I imagine myself speeding around in my 1968 British Racing Green MGB roadster, the soft top down, zipping over narrow winding roads high above the sea. A glint of bright lemon and a loose bouquet of fresh herbs – wild marjoram and rosemary – create the aromatic impression of summer wind in my hair, a sense of freedom, youthful exuberance and possibility.

Sirène au Poisson by Marc Chagall from Nice & the Côte d’Azur.

Bright blues and chartreuse hues are intensified in the heart by deeper resinous greens of cedar leaf and absinthe.  The vivid, adventurous spirit and fragrant vistas are grounded in the luminescent warmth of patchouli, Cashmeran and musk.

Notes: Lemon, marjoram, rosemary, cedar leaf, absinthe, patchouli, Cashmeran, cedar and musk.

Atelier des Ors Pomelo Riviera Review

Photo by Atelier Des Ors  and Gardens on the Riviera, details from a photo by Allie Gross ©

I drive for the sheer pleasure of driving, but soon discover that my Riviera Drive is leading me to a quiet and charming destination. I discover an ancient villa perched on a steep hillside, overlooking the sea.  The old house is surrounded by a walled garden filled with citrus, white flowers, roses and palms.  Atelier des Ors Pomelo Riviera greets me with the sparkling zest of my favorite citrus fruit, the pomelo, seasoned with a zephyr of salt air. A radiant sharpness of bright citrus relaxes into the seductively hypnotic and silky aromas of jasmine and orange blossoms.

The enchanting garden retreat that is Atelier des Ors Pomelo Riviera tempts me to a long afternoon nap in the shade of tropical palms.  I leave the garden refreshed and continue my road trip to the shore.

Notes: Grapefruit, jasmine, bergamot, orange blossom, salt accord, rose and cedarwood.

Atelier des Ors Riviera Lazuli review

Photo from Atelier des Ors and Sailboats on the Mediterranean, details from a photo by Allie Gross ©

After discovering the freedom of winding roads and the relaxation of ancient gardens, Atelier des Ors Riviera Lazuli brings me to sea level and to the scents of sand, driftwood and sunshine.  Sea breezes refresh with notes of lemon and cypress.  From my beach towel on the strand I gaze out at the sailboats and yachts bobbing, shiny and white, in the blue Mediterranean afternoon.  Clary sage, gaiac wood and immortelle create the sweet, softly spiced effect of warm sand on tanned skin. I close my eyes, enjoying the sun, sea breeze and the resinous soothing effects of balsam and incense.

Atelier des Ors Riviera Lazuli leaves me with images and memories of a perfect day on the French Riviera, reliving youthful dreams and revisiting memories and fantasies of days gone by.

Notes: Lemon, cypress, bergamot, clary sage, cedarwood, gaiac wood, immortelle, fir balsam and incense.

  • Now I’d like to take a drive along the Riviera with Cary Grant! Great review about some compelling fragrances. I’m particularly interested in Atelier des Ors Riviera Lazuli — it has so many notes that make my heart sing! I’d love to have a bottle if I win the draw, for which I also send my thanks! Gail, thank you for the review! I’m in the U.S.

  • That bottle is gorgeous. I’m a big fan of sage notes, this sounds fantastic. This review perfectly captures the essence of the fragrance, sounds just like what the doctor ordered for summer! I would love the chance to win this! I live in Canada.

  • I absolutely love the theme of French Riviera. The bottles are stunning. The compositions sound all very interesting but I think Pomelo Riviera is the one for me. I love orange blossom in fragrances for summers. And by the way, I‘m planning to go for a road trip along the French Riviera 🙂
Would be great to have the right fragrance!
    I‘m living in Germany.

  • carlos_lager says:

I have visited the french Riviera a few years ago. Your review really took me back there in thoughts. I loved the Atelier des Ors fragrances i have smelled so far, but never owned any. To me, Lazuli sounds the most interesting. Thank you for the great review! I am from Austria (EU)

  • recursivemask says:

Oh my, all of these sound amazing, really hitting the herbal notes! All of these sound like amazing summer fragrances, and it’s truly hard to come up with wihc one I’d prefer if it came down to it, they all sound amazing! If I had to choose, I’d pick Atelier des Ors Riviera Lazuli, and I’m in the US.

  • The bottles are stunning and from this review all of them sound great. Still i think i would pick Riviera Pomelo since i love the pomelo note in perfumes and with the addition of salt must be a really nice blend. My favourite from Atelier des Ors is Lune Feline for now, followed by Cuir Sacre. I would love to smell the Riviera Pomelo, thanks for the draw, i’m in the EU.

  • Wow those bottles sure are purrrdy ! Reminds me of finding a lost treasure (gold) in shallow tropical water , they definitely are beautiful bottles for this time of year 🙂 Of these 3 Riviera Lazuli fits me the best and would be my pick If was lucky enough to win,the wonderful notes and the description got me ” sweet, softly spiced effect of warm sand on tanned skin. I close my eyes, enjoying the sun, sea breeze and the resinous soothing effects of balsam and incense.”

Thanks everyone for well written article and art and of course generous draw.
    Canada here.

  • Crisstyyn says:

What an amaizing journey thru the French Riviera. I loved the way Gail reviewed those 3 fragrances, like developing the story of the perfect day on French Riviera. I would be very interested in trying both Pomelo Riviera and Riviera Lazuli, i find them both very promising. Regards from UK

  • Doni Light says:

The blue bottles are all stunning – a perfect shade IMO. And although Pomelo Riviera first caught my attention due to that zesty grapefruit, somehow I feel that Riviera Drive would be slightly more to my liking. There’s just something about green herbs that bring out the ‘european’ in a european citrus. Plus the map reminds me of something I may have seen on Cruisin’ USA back in the day. That’s the youngster in me talking. lol Kudos from an adventurer! NC

  • I’d love to win Riviera Lazuli but it’s not an easy choice: Gail makes them all sound so tempting! However, a Mediterranean afternoon in a bottle seems like something one couldn’t possibly live without.

I’ve only tried le Choeur des Anges and I love it. Am looking forward to trying the rest of Ateliers des Ors collection. Russia

  • fazalcheema says:

It seems citrusy and aquatic notes are back. Moreover, famous coastal beach vacation spots are again inspiring perfume creations. It was hard to choose among these but my choice would be Riviera Drive. I am in US

  • wildevoodoo says:

Although all three of the Riviera fragrances sound absolutely delightful for warmer weather and make me very excited for my own visit to the Côte d’Azur later this summer, it is the beachy, sunny, translucently spicy, borderline hypnotic/soporific description of Riviera Lazuli that in particular appeals to me, so that would be my pick if I am chosen! I am particularly excited since I have never had the opportunity to try anything from Atelier des Ors before! I am in the US 🙂

  • There are very few fragrance reviews where a choice is given for what fragrance you would prefer to win that I can honestly say it doesn’t matter to me what I would win. This is one of the rare reviews that I can say I would be thrilled with any of the Atelier des Ors Rivera Collection. These fragrances seem perfect for summer. I love this brand. It is classy and makes me feel like I am more glamorous than I really am. 🙂 Confidence boost in a bottle!! Thank you for the beautiful review and the giveaway.

  • Marvalicious says:

Never been to the riviera but I’d like to one day. I love Cary Grant as an actor and I also loved him costarring with the elegantly stunning Grace Kelly in To Catch A Thief. The visual imagery this article invokes is magical. I remember well the scene of Grace and Cary driving along the riviera. I’d love to do the same one day. I’d also love to sample Atelier des Ors Riviera Drive. Of the three, Riviera Drive speaks to me the most here. Sounds magnificent I can’t wait to win. I live in Indiana USA

  • These are so gorgeous, they look like a perfect daydream and I can’t wait to explore all three when they’re available. I’m really enjoying citrus and floral scents right now, so I think Pomelo might be at the top of my list for these. Lune Feline is my favorite Atelier des Ors, but I really enjoy several of them. Thank you for the review and the draw, live in the US.

  • Elizabeth T. says:

My favorite ADO fragrance is Iris Fauve, which I find very snuggly for winter. These sound perfect for summer! I love the lemon and herbs described in Riviera Drive, the salt note in Pomelo Riviera, and the driftwood note of Pomelo Riviera. If I had to choose one, it would be at sea level with Riviera Lazuli. Thank you for the lovely review and generous draw! I’m in the USA.

  • Oh, those gorgeous bottles! Riviera Drive is calling my name. I’d like to try this fragrance because of the patchouli and absinthe notes. I haven’t tried any Atelier Des Ors fragrances, unfortunately. Wonderful chance to sniff, thank you! USA

  • What a great concept for a line. I love the whole Hitchcock imagery that you’ve put into my head, Gail. I have to see that movie again. Riviera Lazuli sounds great! I’m a sucker for clary sage! It’s not for everyone, as I’ve found, but it’s magical. I’m interested in the incense and immortelle in this one. I’ve seen a lot about this brand, but haven’t put my nose on it yet. I’m in the USA

  • Riviera Drive sounds wonderful for me: “freedom, youthful exuberance and possibility.” I hadn’t the chance to know the Atelier des Ors . Regards from EU.

  • The entire line seems to be great, all these summer fragrances inspire me. Of course, the review is “guilty” for the summer mood. I’d like to try Riviera Pomelo. There is some warmth and a softness mixed with refreshing grapefruit. Here, in Romania summer is yet to came.

  • Christi L. says:

They all sound wonderful but if I had to choose it would be Pomelo Riviera because I LOVE the smell of pomelos and also rose, and a salty accord is always tempting! These bottles look spectacular!

My favorite from Atelier des Ors so far is Rose Omeyyade but I like every single one I have tried. And their bottles are just gorgeous and feel so good in your hand!

I’m in the US. Thanks so much for the giveaway! Good luck everyone!

  • bigscoundrel says:

I love the idea of fragrances taking you on a journey. I have not been to the French Riviera yet, so these would give me a little preview. I’d like Riviera Lazuli if I win the giveaway. I’m in the USA.

  • sanvean79 says:

This house consistently puts out quality fragrances and their presentation is lush. My fave remains Iris Fauve followed closely by Crepuscule des Ames. Price point is high but one can dream. The Pomelo one sounds interesting but the drydown in Riviera Lazuli seems even more promising.
Thanks for entering me in the draw, I would choose Riviera Lazuli if it came to that. Greetings from the UK

  • All three read well in the review. The salt note is always appealing to me. Picking just one for the draw, I’d choose the Pomelo Riviera. US

  • I would choose Atelier des Ors Pomelo Riviera. What appeals to me most is the citrus and saltiness! It sounds like a perfect summer scent. My favorite Atelier des Ors would be Lune Feline. Thank you for the opportunity! USA

  • I love Atelier des Ors bottles, but in this collection they are absolutely gorgeous! Very interesting summer Mediterranean line. It masterminds me AdP blue line but I hope that they will be better more sophisticated blends. According to the notes breakdown I will chose Riviera Lazuli. Great review, I live in Poland.

  • d3m0lici0n says:

I thought i was there… Great way to review and describe the french riviera oh and those bottles look simply amazing!
The three look wonderful but if I have to pick one then it would be Riviera Lazuli, that review makes it sound incredible,
I live in the US and I’m crossing my fingers for this one!

  • Citrus fragrances were in bloom at Esxence this year, but only a few stood out to me and one was Pomelo Riviera. A breath of saltiness over a sour grapefruit sounds like the perfect Summer fragrance for me. Thank you for the generous giveaway. Madrid, Spain.

  • The imagery in this was spectacular right from To Catch A Thief to Gail photos of Nice. This is why I read Cafleurebon because the reviews of each Atelier Des Ors Riviera collection fragrance I wanted all. Riviera Drive and Pomelos Riviera I cant make up my mind. I live in the USA

  • Damiana C says:

I am intrigued by Riviera Azuli, a scent inspired by the sand on tanned skin. I enjoyed the beautiful Marc Chagall pictures! I would love to win Riviera Azuli and I live in the USA.

  • VerbenaLuvvr says:

I adore this house, they create high quality, extraordinarily beautiful and interesting fragrances. Choeur des Anges and Lune Feline are two of my all-time favorite perfumes. Of the new trio, Pomelo Riviera would be the first I would try, based on my fondness for pomelo. That said, the packaging of this collection is fantastic and I would be happy to own any of the three. I live in the US and thank you for the generous draw.

  • Bubeto_GG says:

    WOW – what a draw !!!!
Riviera Drive sounds phenomenal – woody , fresh , herbal with patchouli … delish 🙂 I really want to win it.
My husband owns Iris Fauve , but to be honest i’m wearing it more often than him haha.Even though we’re on our second bottle , Iris Fauve is the only fragrance from this brand that i’ve smelled , but i was told Lune Feline is really good too .
Thank you all for the opportunity – Gail for the review , and Jean- Philippe Clermon for the draw.
Back and forth between USA and Scotland (EU/UK) 1 week is US-> 1 week in Scotland …and so on.Basically both US and EU/UK at the same time

  • All of the Riviera collection sounds very nice and interesting to me. And the bottles are also stunning. I have never had a chance to try anything from Atelier des Ors Perfumes. If I would be the lucky winner, my choice is Pomelo Riviera. Thank you for the chance. I live in Europe.

  • AlwaysWater says:

Great story telling and choice of pictures, I feel refreshed! Though I love grapefruit best among the citrus, If I had the choice I’d go with Riviera Lazuli because I’m always putting clary sage and cypress into my aromatherapy diffuser. It’d be nice to be able to tastefully carry that experience around all day.
    I live in the US.

  • They all sound so good, but Pomelo Riviera particularly so. The gentle blend of zesty citrus and inebriating flowers must be delicious, centering and sensual, with the salt air addition. Would love to win it and have it shipped to Romania. Thanks for presenting these gems to us!

  • redwheelbarrow says:

What a fun trip I just took! I’ve never been to the Riviera but I’m adding it to my list now. Riviera Drive has intrigued me. Such and interesting combination of scents. This sounds like one perfect for lounging outside in the sun. Thank you for these reviews and the draw. I am in the US

  • Despina Veneti says:

Thanks Gail for this beautiful journey!
I look forward to trying all three, especially Atelier des Ors Pomelo Riviera with its “seductively hypnotic and silky aromas of jasmine and orange blossoms.”
How I long for a “long afternoon nap in the shade of tropical palms”!
My favorite Atelier des Ors is Crépuscule des Âmes.
I’d love to win Pomelo Riviera, best from EU (France).

  • A Riviera Drive is something i would love to do on day – especially consideribg those notes and kmpresdiond mentionednin this review about this perfume 🙂

  • Uncle1979 says:

Having British Racing Green MGB roadster is my dream since I was 10 , or even younger. It’s such a classy and good looking car. Unfortunately the chance of me owning it is beyond slim, but just like Gail I’ll keep dreaming.
My choice will be Riviera Drive, and not because it was in my MGB dream. It’s because of the combination of citrus, herbs, cedar and absinthe. From the 3 , Riviera Drive sounds the best, and also complex. Also as a Pastry Chef I love rosemary.
The new Riviera line bottles looking nice.
I have smelled all Atelier des Ors, except the new Riviera line , and Lune Feline is my favorite. One of the few fragrances I bought the same day after initial testing. Usually I do like to sample first.
For every gourmand and vanilla lover – try it. One of the best vanilla fragrance ever created.
    Thanks for the fantastic draw

  • NiceVULady says:

I have taken that amazing drive along the Cote d’ Azur and it is both thrilling and beautiful all at the same time. All of these fragrances sound absolutely wonderful and it is very difficult to pick just one, however, I think Riviera Drive appeals to me at the moment. I love Lune Feline. Thank you for a glorious drive and a generous draw. I’m in the USA

  • The imagery in this review is amazing – you can feel the wind as you drive with the top down. I think that Riviera Lazuli appeals to me the most – some amazing favorite notes in there. I am in the USA. Thank you for the draw!

  • I would choose Riviera Drive if I won. I love the idea of creating the aromatic impression of summer wind in my hair, a sense of freedom, youthful exuberance and possibility.
    I live in California.

  • WaltherP99 says:

As a Atelier des Ors fanboy i’ve already smelled the new Riviera Collection.Riviera Drive and Riviera Lazuli are both big time winners , but Pomelo Riviera i’m not a fan of. Not because it’s not a good one, but my skin amplifies the salt.I had a feeling there’s a chunk of sea salt im my mouth.
From Riviera Drive and Riviera Lazuli i prefer Riviera Drive. It’s not you typical fresh niche summer scent like Bergamote 22 Le Labo .As much as i love Bergamote 22 , Riviera Drive is a better fragrance. It’s more complex , there’s more layers , but i would not wear it in high heat. It’s more woody, spicy and herbal , than citrusy.Combination of absinthe , patch and cedar reminds me a bit of Wolfsbane by Parfums Quartana.

My favorite Atelier Des Ors fragrances are :
    1) Bois Sikar
    2) Rose Omeyyade
    3) Iris Fauve-one of the top 3 iris fragrances for the past 2-3 years imo.

    Own all 3.
Thank you Cafleurebon and Atelier Des Ors for this fantastic draw !

I follow all of you on IG.
Virginia USA or London UK … 97/100 times

  • I have not tried this house yet and am dying to. They all sound gorgeous. The notes in Riviera Drive are most appealing to me. I’m in USA.

  • aurora_ru says:

Wow, the bottles look stunning and the concept is very appealing! Reading the article I imagined myself in a cabriolet driving slowly down the Riviera and 3 blue bottles clinching and gold-sparkling on back seat ;)) And the living is easy!
Pomelo Riviera sounds the most interesting to me, “the pomelo, seasoned with a zephyr of salt air” as I am curently a big fan of salted notes. My favorite for Atelier des Ors is Choeur des Anges.
    Thank you!
    Latvia, EU

  • I have only tried one fragrance from this house, Rose Omeyyade, and I love it, so I have hope for the rest. Gaiac is a favourite note, but sometimes it can go so wrong. To play it safe I would go with Pomelo Riviera. Canada

  • What inspiration! A French Riviera trip sounds so lovely right now. All three fragrances sound perfect for the different moments of the trip. The Atelier des Ors Pomelo Riviera is my favorite but Lazuli also has an undeniable appeal too. I haven’t tried anything from this house yet. I live in the USA. Thanks for the giveaway!

  • doveskylark says:

Riviera Drive appeals to me because of the marjoram and rosemary. I love those herbs! I can picture myself on a road trip all over the Côte d’Azur, the wind and herbs and sea spray smells intermingled with flowers and cedar trees. I need to watch “To Catch a Thief” again. I would definitely choose Riviera Drive if I were the winner.
    I live in the USA.

  • A trip to the French Riviera , having fun cruising in some old 60’s restored convertible , enjoying the sun , the weather … What a dream this trip could be . Riviera Drive kind of resonates with me . I feel like it’s telling me “Take a break. You need a vacation “.
And by the way I do need one.
The new oceanic blue color scheme suits very well Riviera Collection. I still prefer the classic look of the regular line with transparent bottle and the black cap.
Rose Omeyyade is my favorite Atelier des Ors fragrance. I did not paid for it – it’s a birthday gift I received from my sister 2 years ago. I’m wearing it on special occasions only.
Thanks to Atelier Does Ors for the opportunity, and to Gail Gross too for the idea of taking a break.

  • strangedim says:

Gail’s review made me feel so relaxed, I couldn’t help but start dreaming about sea side. Each of the three perfumes in the Riviera Collection sounds like it could be my favourite summer fragrance, but if I have to choose, it will be Pomelo Riviera and it would be my first Atelier des Ors perfume. Thank you, Gail for a great review! Springtime regards from Romania, EU.

  • dianacese says:

I absolutely loved the “laissez-faire” atmosphere emanated by this article. It is very easy to close your eyes, take a deep breath and imagine yourself on the breezy Riviera, among palms and lemon trees. I would love to be the winner of this perfume and to be able to pack it in my luggage for my trip to the… Italian Riviera.
Jacques Fath’s Essentials is my favorite fragrance from this house.

I live in Europe, The Netherlands.

  • So interesting collection. All perfumes fro this collection sound very beautiful, bI mostly liked Riviera Drive’s description- fresh and wild- it is ideal, perfect to me for summer.
From Atelier des Ors I like Lune Feline.
I would like to win Riviera Drive.
    from Armenia

  • I want to try all this perfumes.
    Bottles so wonderful.
I like Riviera Lazuli and especially this part :”From my beach towel on the strand I gaze out at the sailboats and yachts bobbing, shiny and white, in the blue Mediterranean afternoon”. I want to be in the blue Mediterranean night on seaside, at least this perfume will help me to imagine that.
I want to win Riviera Lazuli.

  • DulciusExAsperis says:

What a gorgeous bottle! And lovely review, Riviera Lazuli sounds best to me because of the description of warm sand on tanned skin… also I love clary sage. I’m in the USA!

  • yungcherrypops says:

Loved the beautifully written reviews for these! I love the French Riviera and these descriptions are wonderfully evocative of it. I’d love to smell them ALL and see how they compare with my own olfactive memories of the place, though I find that Riviera Lazuli and Riviera Drive appeal to me the most. Atelier des Ors is a marvelous house and I’d love to win the giveaway! Alabama, USA.

  • Michael Prince says:

Gail, great review of the Atelier des Ors Riviera Collection. All of the fragrances sounds amazing, light, and fresh.  If I win I would pick Atelier des Ors Riviera Lazuli. It offers the freshness on top with the lemon, spices in the heart, and added depth in the base with woods and incense. It sounds like a perfectly balanced fragrance. I don’t have a favorite fragrance from this collection because I haven’t sampled any of them yet. I am from the USA.

  • They all sound so lovely, I love the images that Gail created from the scents. I can’t decide between pomelo or lazuli, but I think i would choose lazuli despite orange blossom in the notes of pomelo… I don’t think I’ve tried any atelier des ors, but I would really like to try all three of these. I’m in the US. Thank you for the draw and the review and beautiful artwork!

  • gunmetal24 says:

The zephyr of salt and sea is very appealing to me. I’m interested in the Pomelo Riviera. based in Canada.

  • samppahoo says:

Though I love the sound of all three, I might enjoy Riviera Lazuli more, due to the herbal notes + incense. I like how thematic this line is. I don’t know any Atelier des Ors fragrances. I’m from Finland, thanks for the draw!

  • What a great review! Thank you, Gail, for taking me on a short escape to the Riviera!
I could vividly imagine this beautiful trip.
I especially liked the middle, relaxing in the garden near the sea, part. I love spending time in a sunny garden with the sea noises in the background. That’s why I’m the most curious about Atelier des Ors Pomelo Riviera. What a great opportunity to have the chance to win this lovely perfume. Thank you CaFleureBon and Jean- Philippe Clermont for this opportunity!
I only tried a few of the lovely perfumes of Atelier des Ors yet, but I love Lune Feline!
    I’m from the Netherlands.

  • I know Atelier Des Ors by name , but unfortunately i have never smelled their fragrances . I do remember Sebastian did a few Atelier Des Ors YouTube reviews , and also Redolessence .There was Rose Omeyyade mini review , and a draw on Cafleurebon too a few months back.
Everyone is praising this fragrance house for a reason i presume.
Riviera Drive is my choice , if i happen to be the winner. Why ? There’s citruses, but also there’s cedar and absinthe .Unique composition.
Thx to all of you involved in this amazing giveaway, and Gail for his review.
USA most of the year, and Germany from time to time.

  • IvanVelikov says:

To me Atelier Des Ors equals class , beauty and creativity , but most importantly equals Iris Fauve . If i have to describe it with one word it will be phenomenal. Not only it smells gorgeous , but gets me huge amount of compliments. When my botle is gone , i’ll get another one 100%.
All three blue Riviera bottle both looking good , and should smell equally good according to Gail Gross reviews. My choice is Riviera Drive. I feel like i’ll be able to wear it in the spring and in the autumn too , and the other two are more of a summer scents.
Thanks Gail – good job , and of course thanks to Atelier Der Ors .

  • bumbuliuki says:

The French Riviera theme for the new Atelier des Ors perfumes is a great concept. The bottles are stunning with the perfect color shade.
I love how Gail integrated the reviews for each perfume in a single story, a single trip.
Pomelo Riviera sounds like my type of fragrance, a juicy pomelo with a pinch of salt. Would love the chance to win this.
I haven’t had the chance to try all Atelier des Ors perfumes, but from what i tested, Lune Feline was my absolute favorite.
Thank you for the review and the generous draw !
    I’m in Romania, EU.

  • I admire Atelier des Ors as I think tis house provides constant quality and creativity. I own a cold weather perfume from Atelier -Larmes du Desert – and I am very curious about their take on summer. I would like to have Riviera Lazuli. I’m in Romania. Thanks for the reviews!

  • I love the description “I imagine myself speeding around in my 1968 British Racing Green MGB roadster, the soft top down, zipping over narrow winding roads high above the sea”. Of the 3 scents, I am really drawn to Pomelo Riviera.
    I live in the US.

  • Lauren Boucher says:

I missed the draw but I just wanted to mention that I love the review and all of Allie’s photos. Gail always writes such great reviews.
