Fragrance and fashion have gone hand in hand with fashion since 1925 when Coco Chanel launched CHANEL no 5. CosTUME NATIONAL is an Italian fashion house founded in 1986 by designer Ennio Capasa. The House is known for its urban ”rocker” chic with slim and sexy silhouettes. The vibe may be avant- garde but Ennio Capasa is a master of Italian craftsmanship.  Well-known to fashionistas, but not so much to perfumistas are CoSTUME National’s perfumes. The fragrances and the flacons are a study of minimalism (the first was Scent which debuted in 2002). Soul, which debuted in 2015, composed by master perfumer Dominque Ropion, is an “unsung hero.  Like fashion, a great fragrance doesn’t have to be trendy to be in style.
