The word mistral is derived from a dialect of French which means “masterly”. Mistral Patchouli is an example of M. Epinette’s masterly use of materials to create a dry breeze of patchouli that is breathtaking.
Fashion designer, model, and Hollywood stylist L’Wren Scott has launched her first fragrance. Her self-titled debut is a spicy chypre with a floral heart that, much like Ms. Scott, is multi-faceted and can’t truly be categorized.
When I was wearing Hermes Jour d’Hermes on my third or fourth day I realized this was really a very simple fragrance of two accords; one a fascinating floral and the other a supple white musk. Together they let the light shine in and kick the minimalism to the curb.
