L’Artisan Parfumeur was looking to create a new collection that would hearken back to the days in 1976 when Jean Laporte founded L’Artisan there was really only one choice. The new collection is called Explosions D’Emotions and all three fragrances; Amour Nocturne, Deliria, and Skin on Skin were signed by Bertrand Duchaufour.
With the set of 2013 releases; Black, Blue Cedrat, Blue Encens, and Blue Santal it feels like Comme des Garcons has started to return to the head of the niche pack by returning to the ideals that set them apart from the beginning.
For 2013 the four new Tom Ford Private Blend fragrances are grouped under the name of Atelier D’Orient- Fleur de Chine, Plum Japonais, Rive D’ambre, and Shanghai Lily
Tommy Hilfiger and Givaudan took a chance to give the design of this perfume to a young perfumer, Calice Becker. Tommy Girl would be Mme Becker’s first solo flight as perfumer. A Star would be born.
