You can sense the crunch and snap of a fresh green apple as you take the first inhale. It’s vibrant and summery, with a warm breeze of citrus that feels like sunshine. Tart sour grapefruit and bergamot make the apple note feel mouth-watering while a subtle pink pepper adds a delicate sparkle to the composition. Subtle herbal greens play with the smooth creamy spices as subtle balsamic facets gives a pine freshness accentuating the greens. You can feel a slight waxiness of the apples skin, as the slightly sour juices flow. A creamy pistachio aroma gives a lovely savory feel to the mix as hints of woody aromas surface, creating smooth, blonde wood textures. The citruses make everything shine feeling deliciously fresh with elemi enriching the composition with a gentle almost incense note. Whispers of pine fresh balsamic plumes like a soft haze rising from the bright fresh fruits.

As the fruitiness fades an elegant rose blooms with silky smooth petals that you’d love to feel melt on your tongue with its gentle creamy pistachio gourmand facet giving it a savoury contrast. The pistachio merges in a delicious way with geranium giving Oriental Rida a savory yet subtle green spice, making the rose sparkle darkly, while fuzzing the edges of the silky petals transforming them into crushed velvet as the scent radiates out. Orange blossom gives this a lovely dense feel, giving a soft weight to this floral cloth. This also cleverly foreshadows what’s to come… Sebastian Cresp beautifully leads you through this rich composition. The perfume has this constant freshness. The apple from the opening softens and fades into a subtle sweet orange with magnolia adding to the whisper of waxy skin and citrus while enhancing the lush floral  composition.

Tuberose lingers below as Badar Parfums Oriental Rida grows darker, its fleshy sensuality is slowly revealed from behind the rose petals. Dark luscious florals are deepened with oud, its subtly bringing out darker woody facets smoothed with creamy resins. That gourmand nuance grows, with dry vanilla dusted over dark rose petals giving it a slight candied feel, other elements that enhance its woody and floral characteristics, with the sweetness serving as a refined touch that entices those nearby to come closer. The florals merge into a beautiful impossible flower that gives a luxurious feel to Oriental Rida. Benzoin and tonka bean transform a gentle spice mist into a luxurious, creamy musk that exudes warmth and comfort. The textures are stunning. There’s a sensation as if you’re walking across fine sand wearing a rich floral cloak that wraps you in a gorgeous scented veil, there’s a gentle fizz from the benzoin that picks up of the floral velvety fuzz in a clever way. Guaiac wood takes this fuzz and softly shakes it into a smoky woody muskiness, giving a gentle air of mystery to Oriental Rida.

You can feel darker amber tones giving more body to the smokiness richness adding to the sweet oud aroma that starts to take the fore of the final dry down. It’s floral with some freshness still lingering keeping it’s shining bright with a beautiful oud, resin and vetiver glow, an alluring rich mystery you want to feel around your body. Badar Parfums Oriental Rida feels like an elegant gown encrusted with gems sparkling in the dark, wrapping you in a veil of silky soft petals, oud and lightly candied resins. Gorgeous and delicious to wear.

Notes: Bergamot, Lemon, Grapefruit, Elemi, Pink Pepper, Granny Smith Apple, Rose, Geranium, Magnolia, Orange Blossom, Tuberose Absolute, Pistachio, Oud, Guaiac Wood, Vetiver, Amber, Tonka Bean Absolute, Benzoin.

  • A scent that can go from day to night and have a fun yet sophisticated quality to it. Oriental Rida is another fusion of eastern and western elements in fragrance: A semi gourmand with hints of oud, resin, fruity-floral. The note of Guaiac wood is of special interest for me as it elevates a scent for me.

  • That description completely draws me in — the contrast between the crisp green apple and creamy pistachio sounds especially intriguing. I’m fascinated by how Oriental Rida seems to shift from bright fruity florals to dark, resinous warmth, like moving from sunlight into candlelight. The imagery of rose petals turning into crushed velvet really sparks my curiosity — it sounds like a scent that wraps you in texture as much as aroma.

  • Compliments to @wearescentient for his spot on description of Oriental Rida. It’s very easy to wear and is a fun ride through its development. Kudos to Perfumer Sébastien Cresp- and it is his first perfume at Indigo!

  • The fusion of Eastern resins and oud with Western fruity-florals, plus the clever progression from crisp apple tart opening to creamy, musky base – sounds elegantly versatile for daily wear. I live in Poland, EU.

  • I was so excited to see a post about Badar. I’ve heard only great things about this brand. I keep planning to order some sample from Indigo but it just hasn’t happened yet. This will for sure be my next purchase. Oriental Ride sounds magnificent. I love when J says this fragrance is like “walking across fine sand wearing a rich floral cloak that wraps you in a gorgeous scented veil”. Sounds so elegant, like a perfect combo of floral and sweet resinous and woody notes. Cheers from Illinois US.

  • These notes sound very beautiful, I love a great citrus top. And all the florals sound beautiful. I would love to try this, this is a new house for me. Thank you for brining it to my attention! I’m located in California.

this one i am SO excited for- what interests me most about this article is the way it captures scent through such vivid, sensory language. it doesn’t just list notes — it paints textures, colors, and emotions. i love how the author brings the perfume to life through imagery like crushed velvet petals, waxy apple skin, and creamy pistachio warmth. it made me feel like i could experience the fragrance without even smelling it, which is incredibly captivating. like always, another exceptional review!

  • I have never tried anything by Badar, but I would love to start my discovery journey of this house with Oriental Rida… Thank you! EU

  • Nuvare Aenra says:

J’s description of the journey from a “vibrant, mouth-watering” green apple to a “dark, luscious” floral-oud veil is what truly captivates me. That interplay between bright freshness and a deep, resinous mystery is incredibly compelling.

  • The way J describes the creamy pistachio merging with the rose and geranium to create a “savory yet subtle green spice” is what sparks my interest. It sounds like such a unique and sophisticated twist on a floral heart.

I’m most intrigued by the textural contrast J mentioned: the idea of a “silky soft” floral veil with a gentle, fuzzy, and smoky dry-down. It sounds like a scent that’s as much about feel as it is about smell. EU based

  • As someone who loves when perfumes play with texture, I’m incredibly intrigued by the contrast J mentioned between the ‘silky soft petals’ and the ‘gentle fizz’ of benzoin that turns into a ‘velvety fuzz.’ The pistachio and geranium combo also sounds wonderfully novel. This sounds like a masterpiece of contrasts.EU

What a captivating review. J’s description of the scent as a ‘floral cloak’ and the journey from the crunchy green apple to the smoky, velvety dry-down is what truly draws me in. I’m fascinated by the idea of a scent that feels both fresh and deeply resinous. Thank you for the chance to experience this beautiful fusion.

I’ve never had the opportunity to try Badar Parfums, but Oriental Rida sounds quite delightful,I find it interesting that the gourmand side is beautifully balanced and refined with the crisp apple note. What fascinates me mostly is the shifting textures of Oriental Rida, from a luscious bright fruity gourmand to a seductive floral, with silky rose petals and a dark sensational blooming tuberose composed to a sweet resinous and woody base. Great review J, enjoyed the alluring movement of this fragrance.
Thanks for the giveaway and good luck to everyone! Greetings from Germany EU

  • There’s a lot going on with this one! Thank goodness for the review, otherwise I probably would have dismissed it as a regular oriental perfume. The pistachio caught my attention along with the rose, but the amber and resins sealed the deal. I am definitely interested in seeing how this one plays out in person.

I live in the USA. Thanks for the giveaway.

  • Anything that comes from Sébastien Cresp I have to try!
I like the fact that Oriental Rida is a playful yet sophisticated perfume making it a perfect choice for daily wear, which many niche perfumes are not.
My interest grows further with J’s vivid description of all the notes changing, developing and complimenting each other, also the conclusion “Badar Oriental Rida feels like an elegant gown encrusted with gems sparkling in the dark, wrapping you in a stunning veil of silky soft petals, oud and lightly candied resins. Gorgeous and delicious to wear.”

I’m drawn to how the article highlights the craftsmanship behind Oriental Rida. The way Sébastien Cresp blends Eastern richness with Western freshness is explained so beautifully. It made me appreciate the structure of the perfume — how the apple, citrus, florals, oud, and resins all evolve and interact. The writing made the perfumer’s artistry feel intentional and meaningful, which deepened my interest in the fragrance itself.

  • This house is new to me and I was intrigued by the scent journey from crisp to cream. After reading this review, I explored Badar’s other offerings — sandal rice seems like a great winter frag! I’d love try oriental rida, too, as it seems more versatile.

    I live in the US.

  • Really enjoyed reading this review — Oriental Rida sounds incredibly refined. The contrast between the crisp opening and the creamy floral heart is exactly the kind of balance I look for. And that soft oud-benzoin drydown… truly tempting.

  • Ramses Perez says:

Every single release from Badar has been beautifully created. I learned about this new house here and they have a very direct approach that is a match made in heaven, mixing Western and Eastern cultures in scent. Oriental Rida explores a fresh and fruity marriage with some sweetness at the base. The notes all jump out independently as well as shining in conjunction within the scent. This is not straight up gourmand but it has some dustings that may indicate so and the florals are up front and center. This is definitely a house I’d love to experience. I’m located in the USA.

  • I like the way you frame the fresh top into a savory pistachio-rose heart and a calm amber/tonka/oud base clean lines. It reads like a gentle move from light to dark: the brightness stays while oud/benzoin add depth, and that contrast is what I like. I am in France EU.

Months have passed, but i still try to adjust to niche perfumery, and niche style of reviews on Cafleurebon. Sébastien Cresp and J Wearescentient were able to trick my imagination into thinking of juicy green apples , luxury desserts with pistachios where the sweetness and boldness are perfectly dosed and compounded to alluring rose and vanilla.

“Sebastian Cresp beautifully leads you through this rich composition. The perfume has this constant freshness. The apple from the opening softens and fades into a subtle sweet orange with magnolia adding to the whisper of waxy skin and citrus while enhancing the lush floral composition.”
By all means YES to what J Wearescentient stated , eye-opening and zealous review and one spectacular fragrance like Oriental Rida

J Wearescentient revealed a lot , from the fresh opening , to the rose with candied feeling and pistachios , to the exceptional musk, and last but not least how Oriental Rida is wrapped in deep amber veil , Sébastien Cresp made the new Badar Parfums fragrance so addictive and rich , not an easy task I believe.

My personal final flourish is the harmony Sébastien Cresp were able to achieve between between fresh , tasty , dark and seductive elements.
I am a gourmand and elegant fragrances lover and Badar Parfums Oriental Rida appeals to me greatly

  • Oriental Rida sounds magnificent. I am intrigued by so much in this fragrance the apple and citrus notes sound so fresh. Rose orange blossom and magnolia are all lovely smelling notes if done correctly and there’s no doubt Sebastian Cresp did them to perfection. Then the amber tonka guiac all those grounding notes bring it together. I love the contrasts of fresh gourmand floral. I love when houses takes risks and go outside the box it sounds like they did with Oriental Rida. The notes are all beautiful the combination is what’s unexpected. I would love to try this one. It sounds amazing. I’m in Pennsylvania USA

I feel like Badar Parfums Oriental Rida is so sophisticated, perfectly suited fragrance for formal occasions but because of the dark and sweet tempting trail also for clubbing . I have a feeling Sébastien Cresp had a plan to make a complex fruity-floral and a bit daring gourmand fragrance , and result could be seen through every single aspect of the J Wearescentient review.
Not sorely because I feel attracted to the amber in the base , all the fruits, and oud I actually enjoy the whole thing, the rose and that Oriental wink .

I’m glad Badar Parfums owners didn’t miss their chances to work with Sébastien Cresp, so we can enjoy spectacular fragrances like Oriental Rida.
Sébastien Cresp character and everything he went through….. considering the name he’s wearing all is pointing out to the noble and full of energy way of doing things.
I’m hardly ever super impressed by a fruity and floral ambers , but a scent of green apples, glamorous rose , vanilla with pistachios spin description of Badar Parfums Oriental Rida grabbed my attention right away.

  • This sounds like a delight. I’m always interested in a fragrance with pistachio. I like the crisp tartness of the Granny Smith apple. Love the imagine of walking across fine sand in a floral cloak (I am imagining cashmere here). Candied resins sound good to me as well. Thank you for the great article. USA.

  • J’s review really sold me on the textural side of Oriental Rida. The way you describe the “crunch and snap” of the green apple with that tart grapefruit and bergamot, then weaving in the creamy pistachio as a savory twist, makes it sound way more complex than a typical fruity-floral. What really sparks my interest is that tension between freshness and depth, the elegant rose with that pistachio-geranium savoriness, the “impossible flower” effect of all the florals fused together, and then the smooth oud, benzoin, tonka, and guaiac wood giving this smoky, creamy, slightly gourmand trail instead of a heavy, loud oud bomb.

The image of Oriental Rida as an elegant gown encrusted with gems, sparkling in the dark, really stuck with me.. it sounds like something you could wear daily but that still feels special and dressed up. I live in the USA.

  • The notes look pretty interesting and I think that the overall composition is a great fit for the fall weather! I would love to try this one, more so as I have yet to test anything from this house. I

  • Remarkably enjoyable article , bravo to J Wearescentient
So smooth deep sophisticated feeling, fresh citruses and vanilla in addition to plum …. Then throw in that quality vetiver and woods and I just know this is heavenly. I need Badar Parfums Oriental Rida now lol. Recently i bought another fragrance from Sébastien Cresp called Tonka Rouge / Maison Tahite , and because J Wearescentient i imagined how the vanilla is adding a rich creaminess that leans into a deep rose in Oriental Rida , some green elements too , conjuring the darker hues of the amber I feel tempted once again.

I love good and sophisticated strong gourmands , finest quality rose and woods , all i can find in Oriental Rida i also love happy , dedicated and not overly pretentious people like J Wearescentient , the whole experience of the different articles is like a medley of all . Howdies from Germany
I’m very much picky in terms of floral and gourmand fragrances , and especially those that combine the two genres.
J Wearescentient assessment of Badar Parfums Oriental Rida brought me back to my childhood when grandma used to bake different plum and vanilla pastries a couple of times per week , and me and grandpa working on the garden with variety of roses , great times I miss a lot.
I became instantly attracted to the comforting gourmand smell of Oriental Rida together with carefully selected by Sébastien Cresp other deeper and darker shades like the oud and guaiac wood . I really like the dance between delicious and , comfortable daring.
When I buy new niche fragrance the quality should be outstanding, and the with certain level of uniqueness , I’m definitely impressed.
Sum total i love the whole J Wearescentient read , and I’d also love to win a bottle of Oriental Rida

Badar Parfums latest captivated my interest. With the assistance of J Wearescentient i can tell the use of roses, geranium , orange blossom , pistachios and vanilla here are expertly applied by Sébastien Cresp, giving Oriental Rida a few fruity and floral edges. I’m keen on the woods and vanilla too and the way they all give Oriental Rida a richness J can’t get enough of.
I’m down with the idea of such smooth and alluring fragrances . I acknowledge J Wearescentient fine work and I’d like to say I’m thankful for the chance. EU

  • Luscious florals like rose and tuberose are an excellent inspirations for an all year round amber fragrance . The pink pepper, combined with a bowl of citrus fruits and creamy vanilla-amber -musk base sounds scrumptious. The greenness and the pistachios seem to temper the overall sweetness.
I haven’t tried any Badar Parfums fragrances , but Oriental Rida sounds like a fun wear , and OMG that bottle is absolutely

Oriental Rida sounds great, I’m fascinated by the love affair between the delicious vanilla , deep rich fruitiness and vanilla from one angle, the sensual tuberose , rose and pink pepper on the second angle, and the more daring guaiac wood on another.

Sébastien Cresp work is the evidence.
The intricate layering of palatable and edgy , spicy and floral notes , plus the beautiful melody with resinous rhythm narrative do make Oriental Rida sound enchanting and multifaceted.

“Sébastien Cresp is the nose for Badar Parfums’ newest extrait de parfum, Oriental Rida. This release continues the brand’s exploration of the fusion between Eastern and Western elements, skillfully blending fresh fruity-florals with resins and oud with a hint of gourmand sweetness.”

And from the current article with J

“The citruses make everything shine feeling deliciously fresh with elemi enriching the composition with a gentle almost incense note. Whispers of pine fresh balsamic plumes like a soft haze rising from the bright fresh fruits.”

In a couple of hours I’m about to catch a flight for my 8 for the year craft exhibition in Madrid , and as artisan myself, I’m a leather arts craft woman i can’t even describe how overjoyed I felt today after reading once again about the latest Badar Parfums release . Crafting always brings joy to the artist no questions asked. We share a lot of common objectives and principles, Sébastien Cresp , Badar Parfums owners and I .
Of course other than the previous articles i also enjoyed J Wearescentient experiences with Oriental Rida, a bit fresh but comforting gourmand , directly influenced by the fields of roses , tuberose and some Parisian high-class patisserie nature. Not just the great smelling aroma with fruits and vanilla , there’s also woods and different floral temptations , it’s almost like Oriental Rida is part of a fantasy story.

The right way to start with Badar Parfums fragrances from the older reads , and then go to the present time with J Wearescentient review of Oriental Rida. All Rouge Éclat, Sandal Rice, Sinai and Sandal Rice i find appealing, sophisticated and original, all I’d gladly wear.
Apparently Sébastien Cresp and J Wearescentient all have a soft spot for art and creativity .Oriental Rida is an elegant floral gourmand , where not just the vanilla and roses are present, but the citruses in the opening, the tuberose and the oud are easy to detect too , on the flip side because of the dark richness of the amber also possesses bolder personality. Special fragrance i’d cherish if I win.
I have no previous experience with Badar Parfums fragrances

  • Wow, J has a way with words! I’m intrigued by the complexity behind this one with the fruity + floral and the wood + resin.

  • Just by reading the article I visualized the exact same moment when J Wearescentient sprayed Badar Parfums Oriental Rida on skin for the first time , I can almost see the delightfulness in his eyes .
Personally I’ve never smelled rice fragrance with Granny Smith apples accord , not to mention mixed with citruses, pink pepper , vanilla and beautiful resins , kudos to Sébastien Cresp for the idea. What differentiates him from a lot of other more accomplished perfumers is that he’s are focusing on the whole package, and not just on one or two aspects.
I like all kinds of gourmands , but especially the more discreet and not overly aggressive that smell like a delicious Granny Smith dessert made by renowned French pastry chef with a dark hues too , I’m so excited about Sébastien Cresp Oriental Rida .I also like how J included extra information about the interplay of dark and floral.

As usual there’s no basic information with Cafleurebon , J Wearescentient review is multidimensional as well .
I wish I had a childhood and teen years like Sébastien Cresp , with relatives like Oliver Cresp to teach me about fragrances , art and crafts.
I know niche fragrances and with the brutal competitiveness on the market i need something big to really grab my attention, and Badar Parfums Oriental Rida high quality raw materials, mouthwatering fruity dessert like connections, rose and pistachios aroma melding with the smoke did the trick for me.
Through Oriental Rida I can book a flight to France and exploring Montmartre , whiteout actually being there. You can’t beat that

  • All fragrances can tell a story, some are passionate, some are sad and other do have a happy ending . I think in Badar Parfums Oriental Rida there’s not sad parts , and everything is leading to good and delicious memories , smiles and a tad seductive wink coming from the dark amber , vanilla and oud . The aroma has a complex floral and luxurious depth with a playful essence.
I have a keen interest in Oriental Rida because of J cosmopolitan personality , and how delicious the fragrance is . I find the blend unique because the floral, sweet and woody contrast , but also how it’s both mouthwatering and sexy. The pistachios and green apples are more than welcomed too

In my steadily growing fragrance collection there is already one Badar Parfums fragrance i bought because of Cafleurebon and J Wearescentient – Rouge Éclat, and I’m very much looking forward of trying Oriental Rida .
Even though J Wearescentient spoke of all the different gourmand aspects of Oriental Rida like the vanilla and candied fruits , the woody facets , the darkness of the amber and the rose do make the fragrance very different in comparison to Rouge Éclat . I love clubbing and Rouge Éclat is just perfect for the times i’m going to more high end parties , like a beautiful R’n’b song the DJ is playing at midnight . Different ideas but I know I’d enjoy Sébastien Cresp Oriental Rida just as much , dark and elegant fragrance, alluring and mysterious

Badar Parfums is unique brand I need to get my hands on. Oriental Rida is an exquisite semi-gourmand where all the fruits , vanilla , and rose are more prominent , i can sense some adventurous nature as well thanks to the oud and smoke. Spectacular fragrance i’d love to win.

  • The whole Badar Parfums Oriental Rida presentation i absolutely love , I know it’s mostly about the juice and not the bottle , but the two images of the bottle and golden cap immediately caught my eye.
This deep fruity-floral musky essence with oud and no overly sugary gimmicks , well brushed with darkness and finesse by Sébastien Cresp sounds wonderful . Comforting and tranquil , half Middle Eastern and half French maybe ? Absolutely I’d love to try this , and get a chance to check out the aroma and the bottle in person.

  • I believe it’s easy to say J Wearescentient enjoyed exploring Badar Parfums Oriental Rida more than usual.
The idea of adding apples and citruses , and then again to rose , vanilla and woody base with a kink of darkness running through the composition only comes to show the creative part of Sébastien Cresp character.
Powerful and novelty fragrance with lots of twists , starting fresh , then turns floral , sweet, woody … even sexy i believe , no wonder J Wearescentient thinks Oriental Rida is smooth and alluring.

It’s safe to say he enjoys them all , Rouge Éclat must be a great one since he said it’s his current Badar Parfums No. 1 fragrance.
Everything in the new fragrance from Sébastien Cresp is on its own place, the juicy grapefruit and green apples , the pink pepper , the gentle floral haze , vanilla and of course the oud . Oriental Rida is delicate and really yummy , while the florals are adding a soft elegance.

The rains are pouring , yellow leaves are falling , and suddenly i feel like watching all old TV series like Friends with a cozy blanket and bowl of candied fruits , burning incense cons and oud , even if it’s not that cold outside. The truth? No , winter isn’t fully here yet, but some fragrances already capture that cozy, slightly nostalgic vibe.
Badar Parfums Oriental Rida perfectly captures the transition from the last warm autumn days to the first hints of winter . Imagined myself in the countryside in an old fruit farm house at sunset, with the sweet smell of sun-warmed candied ripe fruits and a fresh floral touch. Watching Friends while the world outside turns golden with fallen leaves. Main notes of Badar Parfums Oriental Rida are blend of genuine comfort , on a delicate fruity-floral and sweet woody base.

Great review! I love the way J compared this beautiful fragrance to a sensation of walking across fine sand wearing rich floral cloak , strong deep smoky amber and creamy pistachios , true juxtaposition of classic and modern. In the Badar Parfums perfumer Sébastien Cresp is the most powerful piece in the chess game , moving any numbers of squares horizontally, vertically and diagonally . I really like how the Flair perfumers are not really bothered by what other perfumers are doing, igniting the interest of fragrance enthusiasts worldwide by adding green, savory pistachios feel and tuberose to the traditional gourmand and amber game . The other important pieces on the board to me are the oud, , vanilla and rose .Sébastien Cresp made Oriental Rida so addictive , absolutely I’d like to win a bottle

  • This sounds elegant and sophisticated. The interplay of eastern and western elements seem to work really well here. The fruit and florals combined with resin and oud sound great for everyday wear. I love the description of the creamy pistachio accord. MD, USA

  • I love how Badar Parfums are progressively bringing extraordinary hits created by Margaux Le Paih Guérin , Amélie Bourgeois , and Sébastien Cresp.

Badar Parfums future is bright, Oriental Rida is different and I’m intrigued. Even J Wearescentient was caught off guard by the novelty smell. The gentle fruity-woody and gourmand appeal , together with the rose and tuberose combination comes as a gentle reminder of how there are still brands like Badar Parfums and perfumers like Sébastien Cresp , Margaux Le Paih Guérin and Amélie Bourgeois who still posses imagination, and value inventiveness.

Should I start with how all Badar Parfums fragrances sounds awesome , J passion for creative perfumery , or the unique contrast between the dark amber and woody haze with the rose and tuberose , or maybe the importance of the vanilla and oud ? • There’s a ton going on in this Badar Parfums fragrance, dancing between breezy fruit notes, savory gourmand elements, fresh incense, balsamic tang, and rich florals. J highlighted a surprising freshness that Cresp achieved throughout the wear—tough to do with a fleshy rose and vanilla base “deepened with oud”. Love the textures here.

My takeaway about all 5 Badar Parfums articles J Wearescentient worked on , including Rouge Éclat, Sandal Rice, Sinaï and Estelle is the overall sense of heritage and novelty approach blended together to perfection. It appeals to me that Sébastien Cresp infused into Oriental Rida his own love for roses , oud, incense and amber plus all and the delicious gourmand aspects.

From the very first moment Oriental Rida from Badar Parfums draws you in with sparkling citruses , herbal green play and pistachios as I imagined light and playful feel , almost like the beginning of a love story. The base lingers with the amber elegance and the sensual closeness of oud , and deep and dark amber , Oriental Rida is warm, long lasting and unforgettable.
Created by perfumer Sébastien Cresp gem is I’d say floral gourmand fragrance with a lot of depth. It’s sweet without being simple, floral and romantic without being naive. It captures the intimacy of a moment, and I’m eager to see how all Badar Parfums including Oriental Rida would translate into my own personal experiences.

J stating that Oriental Rida darker amber tones giving more body to the smokiness richness adding to the sweet oud aroma that starts to take the fore of the final dry down , was such a powerful and inviting message. I’m thinking about the alluring rich mystery of the fragrance right now . From the EU

Such a devotion , a lot current and past cherished memories between and Cafleurebon , J Wearescentient and Badar Parfums , strength of characters as well. I’m love it here
I liked the way J Wearescentient underlines in all his Badar Parfums reviews that all the passion and balance fragrance fans would find in Badar Parfums catalog.
Cafleurebon and J Wearescentient know well how to deliver exclusivity. Oriental Rida offers sensuality and delicious memories relying on different fruits , tuberose , rose , oud , vanilla too and considering the desirable features I’d say the fragrance has a character of its own.

Thank you for introducing me to all Sébastien Cresp made “Oriental Rida” , Margaux Le Paih Guérin “Rouge Éclat” , “Sandal Rice” , “Sinaï” and “Estelle” , Badar Parfums fragrances are in my to-try-list now .
It’s interesting that two super talented, smart and dedicated young perfumers and 5 decadent fragrances each with its own distinct character, “Oriental Rida” is very much hedonistic creation with oud , rose , candied fruits, pistachios and incense.
The fact that the senior editor J Wearescentient said “Benzoin and tonka bean transform a gentle spice mist into a luxurious, creamy musk that exudes warmth and comfort” sounds fantastic.
Oriental Rida offers variety of encounters for people who like to communicate with passion.EU

  • J Wearescentient words are truly evocative, capturing the essence of memories that many of us can relate to . I’m talking about those simple yet profound moments of passion and romance that linger around longer than any fragrance.
J framing of Sébastien Cresp Oriental Rida as “ That gourmand nuance grows, with dry vanilla dusted over dark rose petals giving it a slight candied feel, other elements that enhance its woody and floral characteristics, with the sweetness serving as a refined touch that entices those nearby to come closer” i imagine is rooted in specific hedonistic and decadent memories he already had , and new he intend to forge with the help of the fragrance.
All beautifully aligns with the emotional spectrum of Badar Parfums Oriental Rida and its glowing dark and sweet woody hue , artistic perfume I’d be thrilled to win .

  • “There’s a sensation as if you’re walking across fine sand wearing a rich floral cloak that wraps you in a gorgeous scented veil, there’s a gentle fizz from the benzoin that picks up of the floral velvety fuzz in a clever way.” J Wearescentient had me closing my eyes to interpret what that could be , bold , romantic and delicious thoughts crossed my , and I believe I should order Badar Parfums sample kit.
The looks of the bottle, the cap , the scent profile and the comment “a deep amber conjuring the darker hues of the dates inner flesh” sold it for me.
The blend of juicy fruits , roses, pistachios with oud will set it apart. Having worn two Sébastien Cresp fragrances , I am anxiously waiting to try this ! Badar i don’t know yet , the lovely Oriental Rida made me think promising future awaits for the house .
Props to J Wearescentient and Badar Parfums

You guys are all built differently , no mistake J Wearescentient own words proves that “Badar Oriental Rida feels like an elegant gown encrusted with gems sparkling in the dark, wrapping you in a stunning veil of silky soft petals, oud and lightly candied resins”
Very emotional and alluring description by J , candied fruity and vanilla heavy , there’s even tuberose and green apples , Oriental Rida from Badar Parfums sounds spectacular. Cafleurebon is The expert in niche fragrances , and since Badar Parfums fragrances are available on the blog the excellent quality is guaranteed. Reading all the linked articles with the four extra reviews took me some time, good to know Badar Parfums is a friend and a partner of the blog.
All Oriental Rida, Rouge Éclat, Sandal Rice, Sinaï and Estelle i find attractive , other than Oriental Rida I believe Rouge Éclat and Estelle I’d enjoy the most.
The latest Badar Parfums scent is absolutely unapologetic ode to all who knows how to enjoy every day, and like roses, organic fruits, oud , vanilla altogether. That’s how I’d describe the fragrance after reading J Wearescentient evaluation. Some fragrances do more than smell beautiful – they speak to the heart , and Oriental Rida absolutely speaks to me.
I’m eager to participate , EU

One particular phrase caught my attention from J Wearescentient description “Benzoin and tonka bean transform a gentle spice mist into a luxurious, creamy musk that exudes warmth and comfort”
Badar Parfums Rouge Éclat is quite intriguing , as I have become more attracted to rose and oud , and also fruity fragrances lately , and like high-end incense too Lol . J absolutely delivered with his comprehensive review and painted a really excellent sweet ,floral and woody picture of this offering. Other than that I’m found of the pistachios and tuberose , and Oriental Rida thrills me very much.
Badar Parfums is a brand I want to sample now so I hope to get this in my collection. EU Appreciate the chance

I wonder if I’m on a wedding , on a date or on a neutral venue? Wherever I am I’m genuinely enjoying it if there’s dark red silk dress and such a gorgeous scent profile. I like the way J Wearescentient underlines the delicious, romantic, the decadent and darker sides of Badar Parfums
Oriental Rida , talking about artistic and niche perfume.
The happy medium between wedding vanilla cake with candied fruits made in high-class Parisian patisserie , and lovers on a date with passion in their eyes , and burning incense cons with rose on the table – that’s the Oriental Rida image currently stuck in my mind . I’d love to discover the latest Badar Parfums fragrance glowing in an array of walking across fine sand wearing rich floral cloak tones.
You have my sincere thanks EU

  • Summed up by the introduction by J and his thoughts and review I’d say Oriental Rida is an unapologetically uplifting fragrance that captures the sweetness, depth, and sensuality of a modern person , strive for originality and comfort.
Oriental Rida starts fresh but turns warm and sensual with rich swirls of molten sweetness, oud and rose nuances create a creamy, dreamy center. It is both comforting and luxurious, evoking memories of shared sweetness , perhaps a romantic gesture or an afternoon with friends or loved ones at home.As it settles, Oriental Rida deepens into a warm and sensual base of smoke , resins and musk.
I don’t have Sébastien Cresp and Badar fragrances in my possession , and I’d love to experience the newest one they made together . Kudos to all ,I’m located in EU

  • To find a brand that works wonders for you is hard ! I can tell based on the provided information by J Wearescentient that with Badar Parfums he found not just a good brand, but unique experiences.
I can call Oriental Rida the new jewel in the crown of fruity-floral and woody , leaning gourmand perfumery.
I like the fact that Sébastien Cresp creation is not a subtle fragrance—it is bold, confident, and absolutely recognizable . But beneath its playful exterior lies a thoughtful structure. It plays with texture and memory, tapping into both nostalgia , intimacy and sensuality. This is a perfume for those who want their scent to tell a story – one of warmth, passion, and cherished moments. I’m also curious if I’ll be able to detect the green apples , the roses and pistachios J spoke about.
Admirations for your blog, and work on Badar Parfums Oriental Rida EU

  • Currently wearing Estelle today loving how it wears being as an extrait and being heavy for colder months. With this house like many other niches, more is less given it complexity you don’t need to douce oneself in it. This sounds like a great addition because of the tart and brighter nuances it starts out with. The mid through the base can be cluttered because there’s alot put in the bottle. TLC being the most important! I can’t differentiate notes sometimes with the high end niche but when it’s created I’m confident that it is done right. Like the presentation but I believe the atomizer could be better or maybe pressurized. However that is less than important when compared to the thoughtfulness going into the elixir. From USA.

Such a nice surveying J Wearescentient did on all Badar Parfums offerings and not just on Oriental Rida , I’m keen on his meticulousness and insightful perspectives.
Jumping in between different fresh sweet and woody , flavorful and mouthwatering , amatory and decadent depictions with Oriental Rida , all was a treat i was not expecting . I’m pleased since I have a thing for woody and fruity-floral fragrances done in an unconventional manner.
Count me in . From the EU

  • I’ve been interested in Badar Parfums for a while now since I’m a fan of fragrances Sébastien Cresp created for other brands like Maison Martin Margiela and Maison Tahite . “Floral Veil ” article only deepens that curiosity.
I can’t imagine how hard it was for Sébastien Cresp to create an evocative and artistic gourmand that’s unique , a bit floral , a bit dark and dopamine-fueled. Chemical signals, subconscious attraction , remarkable grace with grapefruit , vanilla, pistachios and elegant amber base , I’d say Badar Parfums Oriental Rida is a captivating fragrance trip I’m willing to take.
    I value the opportunity. Germany

It’s amazing how Sébastien Cresp worked towards towards turning Badar Parfums deep fruity , smooth, floral feel , and high end woods dreams into reality .
J Wearescentient took his time to talk about the ingredients , the whole creative process , the chemical , sensual and poetic anatomy of Oriental Rida , and not just how thefragrance smells.
I’ve experienced a lot of fruity and woody gourmands, but nothing like the newest Badar Parfums fragrance with the influence of the rose and pistachio realities and sensuous references. Thanks to J, and to Badar Parfums for generously providing Oriental Rida to one lucky reader.EU

Thanks for the graceful review! Badar Parfums Oriental Rida feels like a silk veil floating through a perfumed garden at dusk—rose and ylang-ylang open in soft florals, then amber and patchouli deepen into a warm embrace while just a hint of incense gives it subtle mystery. I love how the floral brightness stays gentle, never over-the-top, and how the base keeps it grounded while still elegant. I’d love to try Oriental Rida!
