A while ago, my interest was piqued by a newcomer to the Robert Piguet fold, Petit Fracas, created by perfumer Aurelien Guichard. Although not intended as a flanker, it was billed as a perfume to attract a younger generation that might prefer a lighter version of Fracas.

In Jo Malone Osmanthus Blossom perfumer Marie Salamagne very cleverly chooses three notes to enhance and illuminate osmanthus. At the top it is the fruit, in the heart it is floral, and in the base the leathery quality is displayed.

I think Angel Face is the best fragrance so far in the A Dozen Roses collection; it has a much more pronounced aesthetic of its own while still retaining the brand DNA with the presence of the rose note.
