The perfumer behind Judith Leiber Topaz is Hugh Spencer. Mr. Spencer clearly has an understanding of the designer he was creating a fragrance for. Topaz works from an opulent oud base which is adorned with fruity floral bling.

Z=S as Zibeline = Sables.
The voluptuous Zibeline parfum was created by the House of Weil in 1928, at the request of a regular client who wished to perfume her furs.
The flower I associate with the blues and the color blue is lavender.I found many ways to smell lavender and found out that there are many bright places on the way to blue.
The Paris-based fragrance house Diptyque is celebrating their 50th anniversary in 2011. Now at the end of this celebratory year they finish with a flourish by releasing two fragrances and a candle to complete the 34 Boulevard Saint Germain collection.The two fragrances are called Eau Particuliere and Eau Mage. I enjoyed both of these interesting creations very much.
One thing I know about any fragrance from Montale is it will be rich, deep and powerful. Dark Purple is all three of those. M Montale chooses a dark purple fruit, plum, as the central note in Dark Purple.
