Arabians Tonka by Montale Review+ Hype Beast Giveaway

Montale Arabians Tonka

Arabians Tonka by Montale by Steven

Launched in 2019 and still  going strong, Arabians Tonka by Montale is not the average oud and rose combination. While these ingredients are prominent, we are met with a heavy dose of tonka bean and sugar! The sweetness lingering in the base creates a delicious undertone that gently and elegantly carries all of the other volatile ingredients. A touch of oakmoss creates a bit of earthiness in the dry down while saffron lingers with its spicy appeal. The main players of the composition are tonka bean and sugar, and with these two taking the proverbial helm, we can expect Arabians Tonka to remain sweet for the entire life of the fragrance! -Steven Gavrielatos, Video Contributor

Top: Bergamot, Saffron
Heart: Bulgarian Rose, Oud
Base: Amber, Oakmoss, Tonka bean, Cane sugar, White musk.

My favorite part of Redolescence’s review is the way he describes the masculine and feminine associations that may be present in unisex fragrances based on the note breakdown

My favorite Montale fragrance is Intense Cafe. I’ve never owned a bottle of it but the sample I tried was amazing.

  • Stephen Adcock says:

Have several of there sister brand but have not tried Montale. I have heard and read alot about Arabian Tonka and would be interested in trying it.

  • Great video. My favorite montales is intense cafe, I am yet to try Arabian tonka but will do after this video

  • Steven helped me understand the Tonka role in this fragrance. I would not have thought that this is a fragrance that I would like, but after his presentation I will now purchase.

  • Matthew Marsh says:

I enjoyed how Steven described the agarwood and darker notes being balanced out by the sweetness of the Tonka bean and sugar cane. I’ve sampled this fragrance and this is also why I find it unique.

  • Love this fragrance house they have such a large selection. I’m so happy to hear from Steven it is a unisex fragrance.I do like the bottle. As for the notes my favorite is rose and Oud. My favorites from this brand are mostly florals.

  • Sabrina Young says:

Steve always knows the right words to say to describe the smell of a fragrance that’s it’s so captivating, almost as if you can smell it yourself. My current favourite Montale fragrances are Ristretto Intense Cafe and Chocolate Greedy!

  • I always like his description of various fragrances and his knowledge about the designers. He talks about the star ingredient in the fragrance and what he feels it will do while mixing with the other ingredients, whether it’s a fragrance for the office, a night out etc . . . And lastly I like how he express the uniqueness and the over all smell, and the longevity of a fragrance.

I think Steven did a great job describing Arabian Tonka. His recommendations for when and where to wear the fragrance is spot on. I would love to try this fragrance, the notes sold me. I love Montale Fragrances, my favorite Montale Fragrance, is Sensual Instinct . Thank you for another opportunity
I live in Orlando Florida, USA

  • This smells really good. I have been wanting this since last year when I smelled it. I love me a good beast mode fragrance.

  • One of my favorite fragrance reviewers! I love all the notes in this fragrance. I’ve actually not tried any Montales, I have a couple Mancera’s and love them. Need a Montale! USA

  • I always enjoy Steven’s reviews. He is always so thorough and thoughtful in his reviews. As someone who loves Arabians Tonka I thought he described the sugary tonka perfectly. One of my favorite Móntales is Lucky Candy.

  • Sherin Thomas says:

My favotire is Intense cafe but I love to delve into middle eastern montale fragrances, from PA, USA

  • I haven’t tried many Montale but there was a Fig one I did want to try. Steven’s review is so thorough as always and it makes me think this is a great winter unisex fragrance. I am subscribed to redolessence and I live in the USA. I would love to try this Tonka beauty!

  • I really enjoy Steven’s reviews because of how he presents his content. He has made some great recommendations and I have enjoyed them. Montale Paris Dream is my favorite Montale fragrance but it’s the only one I have tried. I would really like to venture into Rose and Tonka beans sent’s since I don’t have any.

  • I love watching Redolessence’s videos. The information that is given to the fragrance gives a great example of how the fragrance smells from the different notes, and also when to wear it. Steven gives good info while being objective which is a good way to get someone interested in a fragrance rather than being subjective and saying it smells good, and that you should get it. My favoritr Montale fragrance would have to be honey oud. Even though I do not own it I am a huge fan of honey scents and this fragrance is amazing.
