Anatole Lebreton who Sr. Editor Lauryn Beer once dubbed the “Odilon Redon of fragrance” is one of the most talented independent perfumers (in our collective opinions) composing unforgettable fragrances including Cornaline, L’Eau de Merzhin, L’Eau Scandaleuse and Grimoire. With his new initiative, The Perfumista Project, Anatole Lebreton ventures into interactive scent with perfume lovers.
“Since his beginnings in perfumery, Anatole has not ceased to collect the opinion of perfume enthusiasts, submitting each time his new compositions to their olfactory test. Today, he decides to share his creative process in the form of an interactive sensory journey”.
By joining The Perfumista Project, you engage in an olfactive experience that will last two months, the time of maturation and preparation of the new scent: together with a didactic discovery how the perfume is conceived, you will receive this summer samples of the raw materials used in its composition. This will bring you alongside Anatole Lebreton to understand the choices of essences used, their origin, their quality, and the emotions they evoke. Gradually, he will reveal the major elements of his perfume, while keeping for himself the ultimate formula. Anatole Lebreton will be available at each stage of The Perfumista Project to answer questions and discuss openly the creative process and the direction taken towards the final composition. The new perfume will be unveiled at the end of September 2019 and sent to each participant.
Cost of the presale: 130 euros TTC. The final perfume is entirely financed by Anatole Lebreton and offered to those who wish to engage with him in The Perfumista Project. This should be an exciting sensory journey.
