For its 25th anniversary in 2008, Amouage launched two celebratory eau de parfums under the guidance of master perfumer Bertrand Duchaufour, Amouage Jubilation XXV for men and 25 for women. To honor the 40th anniversary of the esteemed Omani house is the eagerly awaited incarnation of XXV man, Amouage Jubilation 40.

Renaud Salmon Bertrand Duchaufour Amouage Jubilation 40

Chief Creative Officer Renaud Salmon and Bertrand Duchaufour collage

Amouage Chief Creative Officer Renaud Salmon wanted to pay homage to the original, respecting the structure and called once more on Bertrand Duchaufour to evaluate and enhance the key characteristic of blackberry in the opening and for Amouage Jubilation 40 he decided to pair it with blackcurrant. I must say that Jubilation 40 has some of the biggest transitions throughout the course of wearing a fragrance that I have personally experienced. The heart of Scotch Broom and frankincense brings a distinct flavour of honeyed tobacco, whilst the base unleashes a deep base of woods and a touch of the animalic. –Karl Topham, Senior Editor

Top notes: Blackberry, Blackcurrant, Rosemary, Labdanum, Orange, Davana; Heart notes: Scotch Broom, Frankincense, Cinnamon, Clove, Bay St Thomas, Rose, Celery Seeds; Base notes: Patchouli, Cistus, Opoponax, Myrrh, Cedarwood, Guaiac Wood, Musks, Moss, Ambergris, Oud

Ageing: 3 weeks maturation + 7 weeks maceration

Concentration: extrait de parfum containing 40% pure perfume oils

  • I love Amouage. Curious to see where it all started. Memoir is on my to buy list, and Potrayal Woman current fave. I really Want to try this. Steven gave all the deets as usual. From eu.

  • I have to admit I’ve never tried anything from Amouage (pauses for shock to pass ;)) but love Duchaufour’s work and really interested trying this after reading and hearing Karl’s and Steven’s review. The juicy tart opening, but keeping it true to the original sounds interesting. Marit UK

  • I loved to get to know about the blackberry note in the video, I’ve never heard about it to be honest and I think I’d love it! Honeyed tobacco sounds so pleasent and just purely addictive! I live in Trzebnica, Poland, EU.

  • Amouage has over the years perfected the art of perfumery, their long lasting smell transcends time. If Steven says this is the best release of 2023, I believe him. Amouage XXV was a blast, I can’t imagine what twist 40 brings. This will be a fantastic Christmas gift and I appreciate the opportunity to be part of this giveaway!
    Aloha!

  • What intrigues me most in Karl’s introduction is the mention that “(…) Jubilation 40 has some of the biggest transitions throughout the course of wearing a fragrance (…)”. Wow, It sounds very complex and interesting to wear!
Steven’s video was very informative, and what intrigues me most in it is when he says that Jubilation 40 is his favorite release of 2023! It must be truly amazing.
Jubilation XXV is one of my favorites from Amouage and I would love to win! I live in Portugal, EU.

    Thank you all!

  • If Steven thinks it’s great I would love to win the jubilation 40.
I had the older one and it smelt a little sour.
    Great video and great introduction
    USA

  • From Karl’s review I was intrigued by his description of how the fragrance transitions while wearing it, especially in the heart which features the scotch broom and frankincense. And from Steven’s review I was intrigued by his comparison this to the original Jubilation XXV. I live in Arizona, just outside of Phoenix.

  • ThatMulattoDude says:

Having smelled only Reflection and Interlude, I am familiar with the quality and craftsmanship of Amouage fragrances. Steven is quite high on this particular offering and I am definitely intrigued by it. Mr. Topham’s brief highlight of Mr. Duchaufour’s credentials does little justice to the genius perfumer that he is. Thanks for the Intro and Review of this fragrance. Appreciate the generosity of the giveaway as well. Many blessings from Virginia, USA!

  • Jubilation 40 would be my introduction to the house. Steven spoke highly and passionately about this fragrance, while Karl’s review also sold me on it, so I’d be more than excited to try it! Thanks for the opportunity!

    I live in Hungary, EU

  • Karl’s description of honeyed tobacco with a deep base of woods and animalic sounds fantastic and right up my alley! As usual Steven’s review was also great. His mention of its warm resiney profile further intrigues me. I live in the US, CT.

  • Angela Macropoulos says:

I was privileged to get my nose on this at ScentXPlore last weekend. The team at Amouage were generous to allow me to spray both Jubilation and Dia 40. That said, what has me excited about Jubilation is that it moves quickly but smoothly through the composition with enormous power throughout. I would love to win a 10ml. Thank you. Angela from New York

  • This composition is everything that inspires me to continue my fragrance journey! With just the honeyed tobacco is something that would be amazing on my skin! Would be amazing to add this to the collection! Amouage just does it right for my skin chemistry! Steven continues to explain these scents to the T! Always love from DE USA

  • I love Jubilation XXV. Everything I’ve heard about the new Jubilation 40 — including both Karl’s intro and Steven’s video — suggests that it builds on what’s great about the original while doing its own thing. I can’t wait to get my nose on it! I’m in Oklahoma, USA.

  • Hi, Amouage is my favorite fragrance house, especially Jubilation! There is nothing like that delicious resiny scent. Would love to get my hands on this fragrance; very intrigued by the note breakdown here and Steven’s description. I live in upstate New York, this scent would be perfect for the cold snowy weather we are getting here right now! Sign me up for the give away! Good luck everyone!

  • I had Jubilation XXV back in 2008-9 and it was one of my most worn frags back then. I revisited a new batch in 2019 and noticed the intensity is gone. Steven mentioned the projection is about 7 hours which is interesting. Also the Honeyed tobacco note, as Karl mentioned is absolutely beautiful in Jubilation’s DNA. I really hope this new release is something as potent as the OG was years ago. Warm regards from WA USA

  • Enrique Ramirez says:

I love Amouage, I only have Reflection Man and felt in love with this fragrance. I very curious to try Jubilation.

  • I can’t wait to try this one – based on Steven’s video, I’m very intrigued by the Opoponax and BlackBerry opening, and of course the presentation is fabulous, the bottle is gorgeous. After reading Karl’s introduction, I’m happy to hear that the frankincense is prominent in the heart, because that note blooms beautifully on my skin. Much love from NJ, USA.

  • Vasyl Shyyka says:

I love Amouage! One of my favorite house.
Check this particular perfume at Scent Xplore, and I was very impressed.
    Perfectly matched an anniversary!

  • I absolutely love Jubilation XXV, and if Jubilation 40 smells and last as long as the original, I’ll love it too. I just turned 60 yesterday and would love to win this or the original version very much. Thank you for the opportunity to win it and for your reviews.

  • Jubilation 25 is what sent me on this journey. I originally only knew about the typical designer stuff at department stores. After discussing perfume with my cousin, I started watching YouTube videos about fragrance. I had never heard of most of the brands being featured, and Amouage came up frequently. I bought samples, and one of the first was Jubilation 25. My mind was shattered. I had never smelled something so opulent and unique. It was an instant buy. I never spent so much money on perfume but it was worth it. I have tried most of the other other exceptional extracts so I was ecstatic when this one dropped. I’m glad to hear it is still reminiscent of Jubilation 25. The bottle is beautiful, and I’m interested to see how different it is. I’m curious about how the higher concentration affects the smell. I do not find Jubilation 25 to be animalic, and I’m glad that it was not, because I would not have been prepared for that in my early fragrance journey. Now? I am an animalic lover, so I got excited when I read that Jubilation 40 has a touch of animalics. I live in the US.

  • scentastic27 says:

As always Steven give a Masterclass reviewing this new offering from Amouage, can’t wait to try it and also karl was very professional in his introduction.

  • It was so lovely hearing about Steven’s review of the fragrance. I love how he goes into detail about how this fragrance came to be. I also loved Karl’s introduction and how he conveyed so much passion whilst describing the fragrance.

  • Patrick Peaker says:

Loved Steven’s breakdown of Jubilation 40 and how it compares to the older Jubilation XXV and I agree with his take on the older which is still one of my favorite fragrances period!!! Also loved how Karl painted the “contrast” between the former and current Jubilation iterations, highlighting the inclusion of “blackcurrant” with the “blackberry” of the original.

  • Amouage interlude was my first niche fragrance and I still love it so much. I can’t wait to try this one, I’m so exited.

  • Thanks to Amouge to bring us 40 years of exquisite fragances! This new launch for Jubilation 40 without any doubt will be another olfactory masterpiece of opulence and grandeur! Im thrilled to put my nose in this elixir from the Gods!!

Cesar from San Juan PR (USA)

  • Amouage is my favorite house among many other niche houses. I have been waiting for the release of Jubilation since I heard the rumor about it. I love the original Jubilation 25 so this will be absolutely a must-try for me. I got to smell this at Neiman Marcus today and Steve’s review is on point for this. I cannot wait to get a sample or a full bottle to try and experience this beauty more. Thank you for the giveaway. Florida US.

  • I love olibanum/incense and Amouage excels in showcasing this note in both Jubilation 25 (Woman) and Jubilation XXV (Man)! Now, I can’t wait to test Jubilation 40 Man with it’s blackberry and black currant notes opening for that olibanum heart and woody base. Both Steven’s review and Karl’s introduction did a great job of highlighting the special aspects of this new fragrance. [USA]

  • Arpit Jaiswal says:

I liked the original. I believe having a more concentrated version will be much more to my liking.

  • I own 2 fragrances from Amouage. Interline Black Iris and Jubilation XXV.
Both are fantastic fragrances, but what I love about Jubilation is the different layers in the composition, how “easy” is to identify the notes.
A fragrance a King could wear, as well as a Wall Street banker.
It’s complex, bold, but also well balanced,

Jubilation 40 it’s an evolution of a classic scent, and I hope I can win this giveaway.

    From Massachusetts, USA.

  • What Intrigues me about Jubilation 40 is how Steven says it’s a true flanker of XXV, but with a honeyed tobacco element; while Karl says it has some of the biggest transitions in the course of a scent that he’s tried. I’m in the US.

  • One of my biggest regrets is not purchasing a bottle of Jubilation after I first sampled it around six years ago 🙂 Over the years, I believe the original Jubilation underwent reformulation. The bottle I bought a few months ago lacks the oily texture of the old liquid and the heavy blackberry-dominated opening. With the new extrait version, I hope to experience Jubilation once more, maybe this time it will be closer to its original release.

    Portland, OR, USA

  • This one has been on everyone’s radar for a bit now and it sounds like it’s going to be a smash hit. What interest’s me most from Karl’s intro is the Scotch Broom and frankincense combo in the heart and, of course, that “touch of the animalic”. On a related note, Steven talked a bit about this one maintaining the deep resinous tones of the original Jubilation XXV, especially the opponax, which he said is “put on a pedestal” in this release. I really enjoy a pronounced balsamic and medicinal presence in my fragrances, and this appears to give it that little extra sumthin’ sumthin’ that I love. Best of luck to everyone. I live in NC, USA.

  • What intrigues me the most about Steven’s and Carl’s is the attention to detail and quality of Jubilation 40. Just by looking at the breakdown of the fragrance I can already tell that it was designed to last and to captivate different groups of people.

  • The written review got me thinking about Jubilation XXV. In regards to “40” I am intrigued by the added notes to the original. US

  • It’s interesting to see Karl mention it having some of the biggest transitions he has ever encountered through the purse of wearing it, I’m curious to know what that exactly means. In the style of Amouage, it has a bunch of different notes which also contributes to the transitions it goes through. I watched a few other POVs of other perfumers and they’re also calling it one of the best releases of the year as well. I have Jubilation 25 and I cannot wait to try this one! Cheers from NJ, USA.

  • I own jubilation XXV and is my signature scent can wait to try the new one. Thank you redilessense for his reviews always on point!

  • Jubilation 40 has been my most anticipated release of the year. I love how Steven described the smoothness of the composition, while Karl highlighted the honeyed tobacco note provided by the Scotch Broom. I am very excited for this one!

    From USA

  • The heart of this fragrance sounds amazing. Scotch Broom and frankincense bringing a distinct flavor of honeyed tobacco. Wow!. Jubilation 40 sounds right up my alley. A beautiful bottle. According to Steven, it’s a well rounded fragrance and his favorite release of 2023. I would love to add this to my collection. It would be my 1st Amouage.

  • Mathieu Osborne says:

From Karl’s introduction I was intrigued by what he said about how the fragrance transitions while wearing it. In Steven’s video I was intrigued by his mention of the new notes of honey tobacco and blackcurrant notes in this new version. I live in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.

  • Can’t wait to put my nose on that work of art!
It’s going to set a new standard in luxury perfumery.

  • Amouage is one of my favorite houses. When I heard Jubilation 40 was announced I was incredibly happy. Reflection 45 is top 5 fragrances of all time for me, I can only imagine how good Jubilation 40 is! Thanks for the entry into the giveaway!

  • Nicholas Fernandez says:

Beautiful fragrance. I smelled it on a gentleman I passed on the street and he was kind enough to tell me its name. Really intoxicating but with with a refined aura.

  • Kastriot Daka says:

With Jubilation 40, there is finally a frangrance that competes with Jubilation 25 as my favourite frangrance. I think Jubilation 40 will be not only the release of the Year, but of the century.

  • Amouage Jubilation 40 is undoubtedly my most eagerly awaited perfume of 2023. Steven’s video review provides an in-depth insight into the fragrance, allowing for a comprehensive understanding. Both Steven’s visual review and Karl’s written introduction vividly articulate the allure of Jubilation 40, making it an irresistible prospect for me to explore in the near future. Thank you for sharing such compelling perspectives on this remarkable fragrance!

  • Steve mentions Opoponax so many times! Now I’m really intrigued what that is:)
Amouage has always been on my list of perfumes to buy one day when I “grow up”. It seems that Jubilation 40 is aimed to a more mature audience, I hope I get to try it (blackberry and black currant in combination with myrrh and frankincense sends me back to summers in the small Orthodox Church of my grandparents village).

    From Portugal

  • I have been looking at Jubilation XXV then heard about 40 coming out so I decided to hold off. I most intrigued about how the black currant, blackberry, and honeyed tobacco will work with one another. Tobacco is one of my favorite notes in perfumery.

  • I have been looking at Jubilation XXV then heard about 40 coming out so I decided to hold off. I most intrigued about how the black currant, blackberry, and honeyed tobacco will work with one another. Tobacco is one of my favorite notes in perfumery. From Tennessee, USA.

  • This sounds very nice, never tried it though, not even the older formulations. Would love to have this in my collection. From Romania, EU.

  • Would love to experience the Amouage line for the first time. Hope I could get the chance with this one.

  • I like very much the Jubilation for Men and I have been lucky enough to get a sample from their store in London a couple of years after its’ release. I wonder how it is nowadays, and I am also very intrigued by this new reinterpretation which should me more opulent and more everything!
    Thanks!

  • A beautiful description by both Karl and Steven. I am struck by Karls description of how this fragrance transitions throughout its wear. Steven described this as being a balanced fragrance and intrigued by the honey and tobacco in particular. Thanks a million from the UK

  • The heart of Scotch Broom and frankincense brings a distinct flavour of honeyed tobacco, whilst the base unleashes a deep base of woods and a touch of the animalic. Intrigued by Karls description of the animalic facets. Steven described this as a more rounded fragrance and complexities of this blend. You have definitely piqued my curiosity. Thanks a lot from the UK

  • neal_buatti@yahoo.com says:

Steven did a great job of showing off the beautiful bottle. Karl provided a nice bit of history about the fragrance, as well as a full note break down.

Thanks for a chance to win a 10ml travel atomizer.

  • I started collecting fragrances lime 2 months ago I got some designer stuff but I still don’t have a niche I love Amouage and I hope I win this beast fragrance

  • ianbradleyandrews says:

Jubilation is one of my favs and I’ve been waiting on this for so long. Steven does a great job and makes this sound rich and complex. Karl makes it sounds like it goes on a journey. Love to win and live in Indiana.

  • Jubilation 25 is one of my favorite fragrances and steven calling the Jubilation 40 as one of the best release of this year intrigued me the most. Also as Karl mentioned about the black currant note is again making me interested in trying it out. UK

  • Stevens reviews are always great. He does a great job describing things top to base notes of any fragrance. I love he mentioned that how compared to jubilation 25 this one doesnt pop loudly which is good, since now I can wear it more often even in closed space. Karl’s introduction was on point too.
    I am in EU

  • When Karl mentioned “Jubilation 40 has some of the biggest transitions throughout the course of wearing a fragrance’ this really intrigued me. I can imagine how it must be to witness a whole journey while wearing a scent.
Steven’s reviews are as always very easy to comprehend and to the point. Wales,UK

  • perusegenesis says:

I loveee the OG Jubilation (especially man), curious about this one! The fact that Steven says it’s the best release of the year makes it a must sniff, I get FOMO. <3 And the transitions Karl mentions, mmm, Amouage might have done it again. I'm in Romania, Europe.

  • lionscent24- says:

They really know how to make you look forward to a new release. The scent descriptions sound heavenly and make you eagerly await the release. It’s hard enough to find Jubilation 25 anywhere to try and with Jubilation 40 it probably won’t get any easier. That’s why I’d be even happier to be the lucky winner of this giveaway! I live in Germany, EU.

  • I completely agree with Karl, this fragrance has a really good transition as you were it. But it is so beautifully at any stage. I had a chance to sample it lately at I really liked it. It’s interesting how the perfumer had to change the notes to be able to recreate the original smell but make it stronger at such high concentration. I agree with Steven too, this one in the air does resemble the regular Jubilation XXV a lot. I would love the chance to sample this one more thoroughly. I’m from Illinois US.

  • Interesting that it transitions so much, I remember the original to not change a lot on skin, but it’s long since I have tried it. Both speak highly of Jubilation 40, I guess it must be special.
Thanks, I am in the EU.

  • would love to try this one, starting to buy more niche fragrances but there isnt a house that really wows me untill now

  • Really looking forward to getting my nose on this one. Now – What intrigues me? Steven pointed out that “Honeyed Tobacco” accord which would be something new compared to the original and Karl’s article really brings home the fact that Bertrand Duchaufour returned for this release when it was a bit hard to get conformation on this fact in other articles about this fragrance that I read. Thank you so much for the give away and providing this wonderful content. ^_^

  • Both Steven’s video review and Karl’s written introduction of Amouage Jubilation 40 are equally captivating for me. Steven’s video seems to offer an immersive olfactory journey, detailing the nuanced transitions in the fragrance’s evolution on the skin. His description of the scent’s transformation from the fruity opening to the honeyed tobacco heart and the deep, woody base is soo intriguing.

Karl’s written introduction, with the emphasis on the homage paid to the original scent, the use of blackberry and blackcurrant, and the intricate blend of notes in different layers instills curiosity about the fragrance’s complexity and evolution over time.

Amouage Jubilation 40 seems so intriguing and enticing!

    I am from the EU.

  • entering the niche world would love to experience the blackberry (dont think i have smelled thaht on a perfume) and how thouse top notes trancition and transform into a more rich and deep scent. Raleigh, NC, USA

  • Both reviewers mentioned how the scent develops in layers and are very complex. I tried it and I agree it’s one of the most complex and rich smelling fragrance of 2023!

  • Im a huge fan of this house – this looks, and sounds like an amazing composition – and very complex – I would love to have this in my collection Alan UK

  • My favorite Amouage is Jubilation XXV , what a masterpiece of a fragrance , first time I’ve smelled it my eyes started rolling out.
I have a feeling both Steven and Karl Topham had the same , or similar experiences first time she smelled Jubilation 40 . With so many praises, i have no choice but to get samples of the the new Extraits , the deep woody with a touch of animalic base according to Karl , the honey tobacco and one of Steven favorites of 2023 ? Jubilation 40 is a must try fragrance
    Thank you so much

  • I been a big fan of the house of amouage since i discovered, right now my favorite s are royal tobacco and reflection 45 that i planned to get, i can wait to put my nose on this one, sounds amazing especially when Steve said is his favorite release of the year, also the way Karl described the notes and the wearing experience make wantbto smelled it and wear it noowwww!!!

In this case the description IS incredible and very detailed. Steven IS one of the Best perfume youtubers I know. I like very much how he speaks about this very special perfume. Really enjoyed Steven’s video on YouTube. I’ve always been a big fan of honey tobacco scents and in general a very big fan of the amouage house. I also found it really interesting that Karl writes that this fragrance has one of the biggest transition of anything he’s tried. Would love to experience the difference between this and jubilation 25. Thank you guys very much for sharing. I live in NJ

  • Jeevan Joseph says:

This sounds like a winner – Duchaufour teaming up with Amouage. I love Jubilation 25, and my bottle has been running low and I’ve been saving it. This looks like the one to replace it with !

  • Timothy_knows_well says:

    Hello from UK
Jubilation XXV is a timeless fragrance, and I’m eager to try Jubilation 40 . UK customers will have to wait a bit , when I was in Harrods last week multiple different customers were asking about the new release and the sales associates told us all – Not yet , but soon- . It’s a high end fragrance, but there’s a lot of interest from Amouage UK fans . What’s interesting is that one of the sales told me Interlude 53 is one of their best sellers, but he believes Jubilation 40 will sell way more.
The honey tobacco, the different transitions compared to original, deep base of woods and the addition of blackcurrant are making me believe Jubilation 40 is a legitimate successor of Jubilation XXV.
    Thank you so much

  • I’m intrigued that this is Stephen’s favourite release of the year, and by Karl’s saying it has the biggest transitions of any perfume he knows. And by his mention of tobacco (?!)

I love Jubilation XXV, can’t wait to try this. I live in the EU.

  • Having smelled Jubilation XXV only once on one of the guests of the hotel I work at I can only paint a very faint picture of what Jubilation 40 could be. I distinctly remember that very peculiar blackberry and honey oud combo which smelled absolutely divine. I believe the tobacco note Karl mentioned is definitely what intrigues me the most, I believe it will work incredibly well with the rest of the ingredients, especially given that tart smoothness Steven mentioned. Living in a small village tucked away in the mountains of North Italy it’s basically impossibile for me to smell this kind of fragrance, but if I could it would surely be life-changing.

  • Thank you for another wonderful video review, Steven. And the great introduction, Karl. I’ve heard endless wonderful things about Jubilation 40 and I would love to experience the amazing transitional journey of this. Honeyed tobacco has been one of my favorite things in fragrance as of late.
    I’m John from USA

  • Combining the east and west is what I think of when I see amouage. To think of a 40% concentration almost feels like an oil. I can’t wait to get my hands on this.

  • Andrei Vladut says:

Hope to have the best Christmas present !
Watching on Youtube videos of both Steven’s and Karl’s I have a great sense of uregency to grab this asap .

  • I know Amouage for Interlude Black Iris, Reflection Man and Material, the only 3 I’ve smelled, the latter i own. Jubilation XXV and the bolder Jubilation 40 are new to me.
The two contributors slightly different views i find stimulating, and it’s also confirms how complex Jubilation 40 is , it’s not just a high concentration fragrance. With or without a touch of animalic, the flavor of honeyed tobacco, different dark berries and incense i find enthralling.
    Thank you kindly, from EU

  • My good friend just bought Jubilation XXV, and I love it!!! I’m planning on buying a bottle for myself soon. I can only imagine how Jubilation 40 smells; I can’t wait!!!

  • A blackberry and black currant intensive Amouage Jubilation sounds divine. Interesting that Jubilation 40 has some major olfactory transitions over the wear time. Good to know it’s one of Steven’s favorites of the year. I’m in MD, USA.

  • What intrigued me about Steven’s video is how Jubilation 40 maintained the same opoponax and blackberry notes as its predecessor Jubilation 25 although Jubilation 40 gives off a honey tobacco dry down. What intrigued me about Karl’s review is how Bertrand Duchaufour was called upon again to collaborate with and to pay homage to the original. Thank you for the opportunity. New York, USA.

  • If you know Amouage, you should know Jubilation XXV period. Of higher rank resinous fragrance with incense, fruits and grade of mysteriousness .
It is a good thing Raynaud Salmon wanted to pay homage to the original, and didn’t change Jubilation 40 way too much. The transition is there , the blackberries, smoke too yet he added blackcurrant, honeyed tobacco and based on Karl Topham and Redolessence the mysteriousness is even elevated.
    Thanks a bunch

  • This fragrance sounds absolutely decadent! Amouage is one if my favorite fragrance houses ever, and I’m looking to expand my range of their offerings! Reflection Man is the only one in my collection this far and I’m in love with it!

  • Andrei Artimon says:

Amouage has over the years perfected the art of perfumery, their long lasting smell transcends time. If Steven says this is the best release of 2023, I believe him. • Joseph Pledger says:

What intrigues me about Steven and Karl’s introduction is the way they compare the original to this iteration. I am a major fan of the original and Amouage is certainly one of my favorite houses of all time. I am a fan of the way the fragrance exudes a robust, lively and aromatic profile, and I believe this would suit my body chemistry perfectly. I would love to win this as perfumery is my biggest love in life, and I would deeply appreciate being able to enjoy this every day.

  • Tyler Parsons says:

Big fan of Amouage, with Journey Man being my favorite so far. Loved hearing Steven’s take on this and would love a chance to smell it

  • I love the regular Jubilation, and it has to be on my top 10 fragrances list. For a fragrance with Oud, it is very easy to wear, and I love the blackberry in it. I only have a decant but it is such a unique scent. I watched Steven’s review and I’d love to participate in the giveaway. I live in CA US

  • Ricot Louis Juste says:

Amouage Jubilation 25 is a truly exquisite perfume that captivates the senses with its luxurious and sophisticated blend of notes. From the moment you apply this fragrance, you are transported to a world of opulence and elegance. The opening notes of citrus and frankincense are invigorating and fresh, setting the stage for the rich and complex heart of honey, rose, and myrrh. These notes create a warm and inviting aura that is both alluring and comforting. As the fragrance settles, the base notes of oud, patchouli, and immortelle emerge, adding depth and a touch of mystery to the composition. Can’t wait to smell the Jubilation 40

Amouage Jubilation 25 is a truly exquisite perfume that captivates the senses with its luxurious and sophisticated blend of notes. From the moment you apply this fragrance, you are transported to a world of opulence and elegance. Can’t wait to smell the Jubilation 40

  • Usually I’m not into overhyped things in life , but everyone is now talking about Jubilation 40 on all platforms, Cafleurebon, YouTube, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and so on.
I can’t believe so many years passed by since the original was released , love the smokiness, the patchouli, the oud, the honey sweetness, and everything else in its sophisticated character.
I can only guess, but I think judging by Steven and Karl views Jubilation 40 is more mature, and for experienced buyers , especially the deep woods and touches of animalics.
Journey Man and Interlude Man are both staples for me.
    Another overly exciting giveaway, USA
    Regards

  • I love the regular Jubilation, and it has to be on my top 10 fragrances list. It is very easy to wear for a fragrance with Oud, and I love the blackberry in it. I only have a decant, but it is such a unique scent. After reading Karl’s introduction, I think the Black Currant will be an interesting touch. To me, Black Currant has a musky and sometimes sharp astringent note. However, Steven has said how smooth Jubilation 40 is to the original.
I’d love to see how things change for this anniversary and I would love to participate in the giveaway. I live in CA, US.

  • Even though I’m new to Cafleurebon, I do have experience with fragrances and other platforms, and I have to say I’ve never seen two way reviews, brilliant idea if you ask me. Two fragrance journalists are adding depth and if not different opinions, at least different nuances , the most intriguing part of the essay. The two main differences are the deep base of woods, and a touch of animalic according to Karl Topham, both are lacking in Steven’s take on Jubilation 40.
More daring than the original, top quality, Steven believes it’s one of the best releases of 2023 , say no more.
Thanks for the two way review , and the giveaway

  • I very love the article and the video review as well. The notes sounds fabulously. I heard a lot of good things from this brand before, but I never had a chance to try any of Amouage perfumes. Thank you for the draw. I live in Europe.

  • I’m really curious to see how it compares to the original given that Stephen described it as a true flanker. As well as experiencing the major transition that Karl mentions.

  • Hi would love to have a bottle of Amouage in my collection it will be my first of its kind and would really enjoy it so much crossing my fingers on this one thanks for actually having a contest like this and giving away a nice bottle of niche

  • I do love Jubilation n I do have it actually. It really smells classy and formal and nostalgic to me personally. This jubilation 40 seems more interesting and more dense knowing it’s extrait de Parfum according to Steven’s review.
Hopefully I can win the giveaway n got my hands on it.
Thanks Steven and CaFleureBon for this chance.

  • I love a fragrance that evolves throughout the wear, so I was intrigued to read in Karl’s introduction that it has some significant transitions throughout the wear. Steven’s video explained it also has a ton of longevity and showed off the impressive presentation. I also appreciated Steven describing how that notable blackberry and myrrh interaction smells; the way opoponax is used here sounds smooth and wonderfully resinous. One of his favorites of 2023 is a strong recommendation.

    I’m in the USA.

  • Regis Monkton says:

Amouage has definitely become one of my favorite perfumeries: I like many of their fragrance releases. “Jubilation XXV Man” is one of my favorite fragrances. I’d love to see what this extrait de parfum flanker of it is like. Karl’s review made “Jubilation 40” very intriguing to me, and Steven’s review caused me to realize that I would need to try Jub 40. I like to hear that it opens similarly to Jub 25 Man, and I like to hear that it appeals very much to someone who truly loves Jub 25 Man. I live in MD, U.S.A.

  • New to Amouage. Just purchased Reflection 45 not too long ago and enjoying it ever since. Very interested to see what the blackcurrant note in Jubilation 40 that Steven keeps emphasizing on.

  • wandering_nose says:

Oh this caught my eye straight away, not only because of the beautiful gold flacon. I have lots of respect and admiration for Amouage and have grown to appreciate their creations over time. I like that Karl emphasizes this is an extremely evolving fragrance. Resinous notes are among one of my favorites, and the way Steven says this stuff is to die for due to its smoothness, complexity and roundedness, speaks loudly, especially considering that Jubilation XXV is one of his absolute favorites ever. I would be curious to experience blackberry as a leading note, and blackcurrant I have learnt to really like with its tartness and muskiness (my impression of how it comes across in fragrances seems to be alike with Steven’s). Base notes are just intimidatingly wonderful in my view. Happy to hear Jubilation 40 is Steven’s favorite release of 2023. I am sure I would rock it with utmost joy and gratitude. Thank you from the EU

  • Steven’s description of the honey-tobacco accord sounds beautiful, and that he describes it as smoother, well-rounded and not abandoning the original style, rather enhancing it. Plus that he obviously loves the original, but speaks so highly of this release.

In Karl’s review, the description of Bertrand Duchaufour’s effort and his addition of blackcurrent makes me so curious to try this one! I’m in the US

  • So excited to try 40 as Jubilation XXV has been a favorite since the year it was launched. I’m so intrigued by Karl’s mention of black currant, and I love that in Steven’s video he said this “will probably appeal to somebody who’s a little bit older,” which I definitely am!

Thanks to you and your team member for this generous draw offer. I’m in the US.

  • I purchased Jubilation XXV about two years ago surrounding all the hype and praise it received. After smelling the elegant middle-eastern scent of royalty, I still consider it to be the BEST fragrance ever made, so much so, that I wore Jubilation XXV on my wedding day. So, when I heard that Amouage was commemorating its 40 year anniversary with a rendition of Jubilation XXV, I had to get over to Redolessence to hear Steven’s thoughts Jubilation 40, and he didn’t disappoint! Amouage perfected Jubilation even more by smoothing out the edges and adding more concentration, making Jubilation 40 another fan favorite and Steven’s 2023 Fragrance of year! l can only imagine the perfection of Jubilation 40 and anticipate getting my nose on this masterpiece, ASAP!!!

  • I have not had the pleasure of trying Amouage before, although I have wanted to for a long time. Based on the words of Steven, this sounds like a beauty! I love how Amouage still, to this day, gives significant focus to the strength and longevity of their fragrances. Let’s honor that, with Jubilation 40.

  • Happy birthday Amouage! and no other than master perfumer Bertrand Duchaufour to guide and create Amouage Jubilation 40. Like every perfume the house of Amouage releases, Jubilation 40 steals the show with simply the best ingredients and original gold bottle and luxurious packing design. The notes are a pure delight and a real work of art. Congratulations also toRenaud Salmon Creative Director of Amouage for his outstanding work for Amouage.

  • Sean Stevens says:

I have been a fan of Stephen’s content for several years and would love it when he and Carlos would team up. R.I.P
Karl’s article provided some great background on Chief Creative Officer Renaud Salmon and Bertrand Duchaufour collage.

  • David Furman says:

Heard nothing but great things about this house from Oman. It’s one I’ve noticed most reviewers say that you get what you paid for. I’ve heard the original was a masterpiece and now they’ve went back in time and refined that into a richer more subtle version. Never have owned and Amouage so this would be a first sniff and a first love most likely. Please gift me the decant so I can “experience luxury while also celebrating success”

Everybody in my circle knows my love for Jubilation XXV, and it’s my absolute favorite fragrance of all time, bar none. Safe to say, nobody needs to sell the idea of the 40 to me, I will HAVE to acquire this at some point – anything close to Jubilation XXV is a straight away “need to have” for me. I cannot wait for my nose to have the absolute privilege to smell this new reiteration of the best fragrance ever created! If I happen win this, my 2023 would end on the highest of highs. • Have a non magnetic cap version of XXV and can’t wait to try 40. Love that blackberry and interested in that new black currant.

  • Steven and Karl both make me extremely excited to try the fragrance! The fact that Jubilation 40 is 40% oil concentration, similar to Reflection 45 as one of my favorite fragrances is what is most intriguing to me. I’m in the USA. Thank you!

Thanks for the nice writeup Steven!

Jubilation 40 has such a beautiful presentation. I do wish Steven had done this video without using the other Jubilations as a reference. I do like the notes in this one, heavy on the spices and resins.

Karls written introduction was really a good way to understand this fragrance.

    Cheers from Wi, USA

  • Jonathan Bartholomew says:

Jubilation XXV is a masterpiece and by far my favorite fragrance of all time. I love it so much that it was my fragrance of choice for my wedding because it represents the greatest – The greatest woman in my life, the greatest event in my life, the greatest family in my life, the greatest fragrance. It is symbolic to me, which is why I am looking forward to what Jubilation 40 brings. To make a perfect fragrance even more perfect is seldom accomplished, but if there is anyone who can do it, it is Duchaufour.

  • I love Amouage.
I have to agree with Steven that 40 comes across as a little smoother.
It is by far the best scent of 2023 to me.
All the notes are there the blackberry, the honeyed tobacco are there and more.
    Hope to win.

I can’t wait to try this! Merry Christmas to everyone!! I am a critical care nurse in San Francisco. I love to wear beautiful fragrances, lightly, to work and help create a more pleasant and sweet aroma working environment especially in the ICU. Amouage is one of the best in the world!

  • Frederick Walker says:

I like when Karl said he thinks this has one of the biggest transitions in wearing a fragrance that he has experienced, and in Steven’s video when he said that it’s one of the best newest fragrances for 2023!!! I love this house brand I already have a few from them. They’re all beautiful.

I live in Lakeland Florida a smaller town between Orlando and Tampa FL. I’m sure people would be captured when they smell this new beautiful fragrance from me.

  • This one of the best Duchaufour’s creation. Elegance in a bottle is what I would describe this scent.

  • I don’t think I’ve ever been as excited for a fragrance release as this! Renaud has done an amazing job with Amouage and Bertrand Duchaufour’s fragrances and inspirations always impress! Love Steven’s videos as always – was the person who made me aware of Amouage in the first place! (From UK).

  • Michael Speight says:

I can’t wait to try this one. Amouage never disappoints. Top notch and the royalty of fragrance houses.
