Amouage Sunshine Women was one of my top perfume picks of 2014; it was also a turning point for Creative Director Christopher Chong who wanted to express another facet of the Amouage brand (and of himself) under the Midnight Flowers Collection. Christopher, in collaboration with Firmenich perfumers Pierre Negrin and Fabrice Pellegrin, is launching the “yang” to the women’s “yin”, Amouage Sunshine Man. The new fragrance suggests the darker, more mysterious elements of the sun. “Inspired by the movement of an eclipse and the interplay between cool and warm, light and dark, this is an intensely constructed fragrance created to thrill. Enticing layers of freshness and warmth with a ‘Rock n Roll’ twist, Sunshine Man is a multi-facetted and complex experience”.
Sunshine Man is presented in Amouage’s iconic clear glass crystal bottle with gold foil illustrations of swirling flares and the white cap is accented with a golden Swarovski crystal to resemble a shining overhead sun at high noon. The bottle is housed in an azure mosaic box with removable inserts; the boxes are designed to be reused to safe keep ornaments and mementos.
Sunshine Man, a spicy aromatic will be available in September 2015.
