Christi Meshell, the natural perfumer of the Seattle based House of Matriarch, has announced the release of the Super Natural Collection, a limited-edition coffret of thirteen 3.3 ml perfume extraits (including the soon to debut Bohemian Black). The set includes award winning favorites such as Forbidden,(which was created for CaFleureBon’s Oephiucus 13th sign Natural Perfumers Internet Project), The Maj, and Woo.
Christi is an outspoken advocate of natural perfumery and one of the independent and artisanal perfumers who has helped raise the profile of West Coast perfumery throughout the world. According to Christi, “All my fragrances are hand blended, free of synthetics, aroma chemicals, isolates, artificial colors and additives”.
75% of the raw materials in House of Matriarch perfumes are from Washington grown materials, in keeping with the Company's “green business” and “buy-local” philosophies,. The outer packaging has also been mindfully sourced from 100% Washington produced, recycled materials. A portion of sales will be donated to bee conservation programs throughout the Northwest.
In appreciation for the bloggers and online fragrance fans,the first 1000 sets will be available exclusively on their website, autographed in numbered order, beginning Friday, June 21st, 2013 at 9am PST and .The set will retail for $180.00 and will available at a later date at select stockists.
