Like the first three Lumiere Blanche, begins with the photograph above by Massimo Vitali. The picture used to inspire Lumiere Blanche is from Sig. Vitali’s Beach Series which he started in 1995. He wanted to depict a “sanitized, complacent view of Italian normalities” while also revealing “the inner conditions and disturbances of normality; its cosmetic fakery, sexual innuendo, commodified leisure, deluded sense of affluence and rigid conformism”.
