Astrophil & Stella Paris Cheri

Astrophil and Stella Paris Chéri by Olya Bar

A dawn so tender it feels like a secret shared between lovers, the first light of morning spilling over the storied rooftops of Montmartre, painting the cobblestone streets in hues of rose and gold. Tucked away in a hidden corner of Paris, far from the clamor of tourist-laden avenues, you find yourself in a quaint café, its windows fogged with the warmth of fresh viennoiseries. The air hums with the delicate scent of buttery croissants and the soft clink of porcelain cups, as you sit across from someone who makes your heart flutter—a gaze that lingers, a hand brushing yours, a moment suspended in time. This is the essence of Astrophil & Stella Paris Chéri, composed by Nathalie Feisthauer, a fragrance that wraps you in a cloud of sensual warmth. It’s as if Paris itself is whispering its most romantic secrets against your skin.

Astrophil & Stella Paris Chéri is a love letter to the city of light and the electricity of connection. The scent opens with an exuberant burst of coffee and cocoa, a vibrant nod to those unhurried mornings spent savoring coffee with a side of a delicious pastry in each other’s company. These notes dance with a sweet caress of vanilla, evoking the decadence of a stolen kiss under a Parisian street lamp. As the fragrance unfolds, spicy whispers of cinnamon leaf and cardamom oil weave through, adding a splash of intrigue—like the thrill of a late-night escapade through the city’s hidden alleys, laughter echoing off ancient stone walls. Orris nuances lend a buttery facet, reminiscent of a spontaneous run to a flower shop on the Île de la Cité, where you pick out velvety irises and delicate heliotropes to adorn a cozy apartment, their petals scattering across a table set for two.

The heart of Astrophil & Stella Paris Chéri pulses with intense woods and resin, grounding the fragrance in a sultry, almost primal depth. It’s the feeling of sinking into a lover’s embrace after a night of revelry, when the world fades away and all that remains is the heat of their skin, the rhythm of their breath. This is a scent that captures the paradox of Paris itself—effortlessly elegant yet thrillingly untamed, a city where every corner holds the promise of romance and rebellion. The brand, Astrophil & Stella, masters this duality, crafting compositions that are niche yet irresistibly wearable, complex yet instantly captivating. Their creations, like Paris Chéri, stand apart in a crowded market, offering a narrative that feels both timeless and daringly original.

I picture a mood after a night of dancing in a dimly lit Montparnasse club, where jazz notes and whispered promises linger in the air. You slip away as dawn breaks, hand in hand, with no agenda but to savor each other. The day unfolds in a haze of indulgence: a leisurely coffee at a sidewalk bistro, the barista’s knowing smile as you lean closer; a stroll through a bustling market, where the scent of fresh blooms mingles with the crisp morning air; and finally, a takeout dinner from a tiny brasserie, savored in the glow of candlelight as you curl up together, time stretching into eternity. Astrophil & Stella Paris Chéri bottles this magic—a fragrance that feels like falling in love, not just with another, but with life itself.

  • Olya’s review made Paris Chéri feel like a fragrance woven from memories — tender, intimate, and beautifully cinematic. I was especially drawn to how she described the blend of coffee, cocoa, and vanilla as a moment shared between lovers at a quiet Parisian café. The mix of spice, orris, and heliotrope adds a dreamy richness that makes me think of stolen moments and soft mornings after sleepless nights. It sounds like a scent that captures not just love, but the feeling of being deeply present with someone. I live in France, and I would love to experience this fragrant love letter to Paris.

Love the description of how the fragrance really captures Paris! I live in MA, USA.

  • Melissa K says:

Having never heard of this before, I had to Google this fragrance for more reviews because it sounded to good to be true. Resinous, vanilla, with a chocolate kiss. Kentucky USA

  • The promise of romance and rebellion. That could be the title of my autobiography. I want to fall in love with this fragrance. I may never make it to Paris so this fragrance might be as close as I ever get. Spicy cinnamon cardamom coffee transitioning to woody orris transitioning to resinous vanilla benzoin tonka sounds utterly divine. I very much want to experience this house and hope I can very soon. I’m in the USA.

  • This perfume sounds so beautiful and I would love to smell it and most likely would want to own it. However, I know I won’t win it as I have never won anything. I take after me Dad (long deceased) who also never won anything in his life except he did win my Mother’s hand in marriage.

  • I love the idea of coffee and pastry in Paris. Even though Coffee and Pastry in Pasadena is my more likely future..

  • Ramses Perez says:

Parisian perfumery has always been at the forefront of fragrances. I’m getting a gourmand and fizzy vibe with this fragrance which may be a first in the Astrophil & Stella catalogue. Imagine having a patisserie on an afternoon in Paris paired with coffee or a hot chocolate. A true staple of Parisian culture and immersing yourself in a world of possibilities. What an amazing release and review by Olya. I’m located in the USA.

  • This Olya’s review transported me straight to a quiet, pink-tinged morning in Paris. I can smell the buttery croissants, feel the steam curling from a porcelain cup, and imagine that lazy, electric moment of eye contact in a tiny café. The way Olya describes the mix of cocoa, coffee, and cardamom with a sultry wood-and-resin base makes me think of waking up tangled in hotel sheets after a long night out—intimate, a little reckless, and totally unforgettable. It’s rare that a fragrance feels like a whole storyline, but Paris Chéri seems to do just that.

  • FragranceFrenzyS says:

Oh wow, this sounds like a full-on Parisian romance in a bottle. I’m obsessed with scents that can walk the line between comfort and intrigue, and the way this one is described—coffee and cocoa in the morning light, then spice, orris, and those deeper resins by night—is just everything I want. That tension between elegance and wildness is so seductive. And honestly, the way Olya writes about it makes me want to go kiss someone under a streetlamp in Montmartre just to match the mood.

This review gave me goosebumps. Not kidding. The perfume sounds like a love affair with Paris itself—rich with texture and emotion. That part about velvety irises from a flower shop on Île de la Cité? I could smell it. I could feel it. The warm haze of jazz clubs, the market stalls, the candlelit dinners—it’s all so vividly romantic and tactile. If the scent delivers even half of what this review promises, I’m sold. Paris Chéri sounds like a perfume that lingers not just on the skin, but in the soul.

    I’m from the European Union.

  • AromaAdventurer says:

Okay, but can we talk about how this sounds like the perfume version of falling hard for someone on a weekend trip to Paris? You meet at a party, stay up all night walking the city, share secrets over coffee, and before you know it—you’re planning your whole life around this feeling. The spices, the floral softness, and the deeper woods and ambers… it sounds dangerously addictive. I love how Olya captures the unspoken heat behind all that Parisian charm.

    Greetings from the EU.

  • LindenNoir says:

I honestly wasn’t expecting to feel so much reading about a perfume. But Olya’s description of Paris Chéri feels like an old film reel from the French New Wave grainy, poetic, soaked in memory. I love how the fragrance is built like a love story: sweet beginnings (coffee, vanilla), tension and thrill (cardamom, cinnamon), and then grounding warmth (resins, woods, ambrette). It’s not just a scent, it’s a life lived. That’s niche perfumery at its best.

    I live in the EU.

  • I really like the description and want to try this perfume a lot.

What really stood out to me from Olya’s review is how Paris Chéri seems to capture those soft, magical moments in Paris.

  • Patricia Douglass says:

What strikes me most about Astrophil & Stella Paris Chéri, based on Olya’s review, is the way it captures intimacy without losing its boldness. It doesn’t shy away from richness—coffee, cocoa, cardamom—but wraps it in warmth and depth, like the quiet closeness after a wild night. It feels like a love letter not just to a person, but to the small, sensory moments that make life unforgettable. I live in Forest Park, IL.

  • Overall, Paris Chéri strikes me as a beautifully crafted, evocative fragrance that balances simplicity with depth, capturing the romantic spirit of Paris while appealing to a wide audience through its gourmand and floral charm. I live in Poland, EU.

  • I read all of the comments and agree with them completely.
When the first bottle of Paris Chéri sold within minutes after being put on display, we knew it was a winner.

Thank you, @cafleurebonofficial, for presenting it and thank you, @astrophilstellaperfume and @nathaliefeisthauer, for creating it.

  • The description of this fragrance as a lovers night of enjoyment, coffee, and pastry is such a reminder of the intimate moments we must savor in life. These sweet reminders are of times places and invocation of memories is why I love perfumery. Live in the US. Good luck to all

  • teatreesoil says:

the profile seems a bit all over, something like a spicy fleurmand, but olya’s writing is very evocative and helps tie together the notes to its city of inspiration! i actually appreciate that the perfumer nathalie feisthauer didn’t go with tobacco/boozy notes, which i commonly see with “paris” fragrances. this one looks interesting!!

    thanks from USA 🙂

My BFF is going to Paris this summer for her big 60th b day. I’d love to win this and gift it to her to wear on her trip. I like that this is timeless and original in a daring sort of way. I love that this bottles love of life in a bottle. Thanks for the chance to win this beauty. USA.

  • We all can use a little romance in our life. This sounds like romance in a bottle! All the bits of spices and lovely florals and just the right intrigues such as coffee and pink berries. I would love to have this one!! I am located in the U.S. thank you!

  • Kensolfactoryodyssey says:

Olya’s review of Paris Chéri reads like a love story wrapped in velvet—tender, sensual, and quietly spellbinding. What strikes me most is the way this fragrance seems to capture both the hush of dawn and the heat of connection, like a whispered “je t’aime” lingering in the air. The interplay of coffee, cocoa, orris, and cardamom sounds utterly delicious—a gourmand with the soul of a poet. I can almost smell the buttery croissants and feel the worn wooden café chair beneath me. Nathalie Feisthauer has created a perfume that seems to hold not just notes, but moments. I live in the USA, and I’d be so honored to experience this bottled romance in real life

  • Shibuichi2000 says:

Paris Chéri comes across as a “fleurmand”—a floral-gourmand hybrid—but with more story and nuance than typical sweet perfumes. It sounds at once cozy and seductive, nostalgic yet moder, with complexity and evolution.
I’m imagining it to be like a cinematic Paris love story—rich, layered, and sensorial (like all the Astrophil & Stella scents I’ve had the pleasure of testing/wearing).
    I’m in EU.

  • wonderscent.mari says:

Wow, what a beautiful review! It truly transported me to a cozy Parisian café and having romantic moments. This review made me crave pastries and coffee so badly! I enjoyed the description of the scent and how absolutely heavenly those notes of Coffee, Cacao, Cardamom, Cinnamon, being transporting to more Lactonic facets, while Orris giving this buttery moment and holding a bouquet of powdered flowers and transported into the intense woody resin notes giving more depth to a composition that seem to be quite intriguing…
The way the review paints it, it’s more than just a perfume, it’s an ULTIMATE mood, its warm, sweet, relaxed, chic, an unforgettable romantism in a bottle!
Thank you Astrophil Stella, Cafleurebon & Olya Bar, for the generosity and the captivating review! I am new to this house. From EU
