Five Jovoy Paris Perfumes We Love: Jovoy Paris 21 Conduit Street, Les Jeux Sont Faits, Musc Pallas, Psychedelique, Remember Me photo by Oli Marlow ©

When Francois Hénin, Founder and Owner of Jovoy Paris Parfums Rarespresident of the Parfetique Company, and founder of the brands Jovoy Paris and Jeroboam learned of  ÇaFleureBon’s 15th anniversary landmark on March 22nd, he wanted to fete our readers and viewers with fabulous gifts including the JOVOY DREAM BOX, (there was a winner!). To continue the celebration, in Part  2, Steven Gavrielatos and Michelyn Camen curated five Jovoy Paris perfumes that represent a range of unique and high-quality Jovoy fragrances from the collection. We asked Contributor Oli Marlow (Jovoy Mayfair‘s videographer and co-creator of 21 Conduit Street) to introduce Steven’s video with brief reviews in order of their release date. –Michelyn Camen, Editor-in-Chief

Jovoy Paris Perfumes Psychedelique best patchouli

Jovoy Paris Psychedelique (Jacques Flori) 2011: “Jovoy Paris Psychedelique is a powerhouse patchouli perfume. Inspired by the time Jovoy owner Francois Henin spent in Vietnam in his youth, where he worked processing and distilling raw materials. It focuses hard on his very favourite quality of (chocolatey) patchouli and reclaims its aroma from the annals of hippie history – where it was often worn to cover body odour – presenting it instead as a complex and luxurious sillage. -Oli Marlow

 Les Jeux Sont Faits Jovoy

Jovoy Paris Les Jeux Sont Faits (Amelie Bourgeois) 2012:Named for a French expression that translates to “the bets are placed”, Les Jeux Sont Faits typifies the early wave of Jovoy’s perfumes perfectly. It is big, it’s loud and it’s kind of outrageous but it also nails its brief perfectly – an olfactory portrait of a 1950’s high roller who wasn’t afraid to bet big, drink large and defend his honour with his fists. Amelie Bourgeois painted this rich human soup with rum, tobacco, amber and cumin”.- Oli Marlow

Jovoy Remember Me by Cecile Zarokian

Jovoy Paris Remember Me (Cecile Zarokian) 2018: A chai latte, served amongst frangipani flowers” is how I’ve always described Cecile Zarokian’s Remember Me but, in all honesty it’s far more nuanced and layered than that. The perfumer’s command of gourmand elements (vanilla, condensed milk) defines the heart and base but there’s also the unique subtle shifts in spicing (from cardamom to ginger), the dryness of her tea accord and just how unctuous her frangipani feels with all those thick, sweet elements under it.” -Oli Marlow

Jovoy Paris 21 Conduit Street

Jovoy Paris 21 Conduit St (Oli Marlow & Marie Schnirer) 2020:A collaboration between the independent perfumer Marie Schnirer and myself, 21 Conduit St was conceived primarily as a riff on a modern fougere – aromatic and impactful, slightly fruity and with a long, smooth vetiverol heavy drydown. It contains two excellent qualities of lavender, a slight hashish note from a stunning Javanese vetiver and Schnirer’s rhubarb accord which powers the heart of the fragrance“.-Oli Marlow

Jovoy Paris Musc Pallas (Vanina Murraciole) 2023: “Vanina Murraciole has already proven time and again that she knows how to deliver tangible shimmer and drive compositions with musks (just smell any of her work for Jeroboam), but in Musc Pallas, Vanina Murriacole makes something that feels a bit more gauzy and silky. It’s a powdery musk perfume that feels weightless and alluring with its iris tones, hints of peach and the wooly comfort of ambrette seeds.”-Oli Marlow

Would love to try 21 Conduit St. all the ingredients scream fantastic taste and being a fan of Rhubarb and Almond amongst a bunch of other fragrances. Would love to see what has been brought forth for us to experience.

  • Amazing selection, the only one I am familiar is Pallas but would love to try them all, especially Remember Me. Oli’s intro was really engaging as he made the perfumes sound like little worlds in a bottle. Steven’s video added a friendly, easygoing touch. I loved hearing his personal favorites and how he described them so naturally. I wouldd love to win Remember Me.

  • DAISY PEREZ says:

Wow, what a cool way to celebrate 15 years of fragrance passion! Hénin really went all out—love how he turned the spotlight on the readers with those Jovoy gifts. The video and curated picks sound like a perfect mix of scent storytelling and appreciation. Definitely gives off that thoughtful, artistic vibe Jovoy is known
for. I have sampled Remember me and i absolutely loved it. I have heard a lot of Fire at will. Musc Pallas sounds like something I would like to try as well.
If i was to win i would love to try Les Jeux Sont Faits.

  • I love learning more about Jovoy perfumes. Remember Me is a huge favorite of mine and I’m actually wearing it today.

I would love to win Musc Pallas

  • autumnblue9 says:

Oli’s intro painted Remember Me like a warm cup of spiced tea which comforting. I loved how he brought out the depth of the vanilla and florals. Steven’s video had such an inviting tone I’d pick Remember Me, it sounds like something I’d reach for often.

  • I’ve been dying to try one of Jovoy creations. Psychedelique in particular sounds so good according to Steven’s description in the video.
Hopefully I get my hands on Psychedelique in this giveaway

  • Odor Aeternitatis says:

Oh, what wonderful descriptions, these all sound heavenly. I am particularly intrigued by the nostalgic Remember Me. I live in the USA. Steven did a great job breaking down the note and explaining the fragrances.

  • Nice selection. I am familiar with few of those 5 and few others from Jovoy. I find them all outstanding. Oli’s intro makes me want to try Psychedelique as a powerful chocolatey patchouli dominant scent inspired by the hippie history. Steven’s video was interesting. I liked hearing his personal favorites and how he described them in such an intriguing way. I would love to win Les Jeux Sont Faits with those beautiful rum, tobacco and amber notes. From EU

  • Catherine Davis says:

Les Jeux Sont Faits the one for me! Absolutely Existential and deeply complex – it will be my honor to contend with the Angelica! Thank you Stephen

  • These five are very intriguing. However, I believe the psychedelic one intrigues me the most… Thank you for this information…

  • chocoshelo says:

I was drawn to remember me immediately, Oli’s writing made it sound so smooth and vanillic. Way steven described it really stuck with me. This is definitely my choice!

  • Jenna Park says:

Jovoy really seems to have a lot of variety in what they offer. I have and love fire at will. I would like to add Remember Me to my collection. I love vanilla and amber notes together. The addition of frangipani and spice sound beautiful. Each of the fragrances have something in them that peaks my interest I really do love a musk and the description of Les Jeux Sont Faits makes it sound mysterious and intriguing. The one that stands out for me is Remember Me. I am from Pennsylvania USA

  • Monica Pierre says:

Musc Pallas is top of my list to try and now I’m even more sure based on Steven’s review I want to try Psychedelique. I have been following Steven for a while and he always gives us his true and honest opinion. Also Marlow’s introduction really gave an insight on the notes and what to expect. I would love to win psychedelique I reside in NY. This win will be my very 1st introduction into the brand

  • Michael Lowerre says:

Wow, I am an self proclaimed fragrance enthusiast but I have not ventured into this house. Honestly youve gotten my attention and am incredibly interested in a few from your line now. 21 Conduit Street Is my number 1 choice. As a healthcare provider it is imperative to not wear something offensive or off putting for a pt that could have a reaction to aromas. This 21 Conduit Street sound slike a beautiful uplifting fragrance that will undoubtedly lift people in its silage up and be extremely pleasant aroma therapy. Beautiful line up, this has most definitely peaked my interest.

  • First of all, I’m so impressed as Steven mentioned Oli co-creating the 21 Conduit St. The visionary mind of a videographer is beautiful and I am looking forward to this freshy bottle.
Oli has introduced these fragrances like a ringmaster in a circus – it makes you eager to put your nose on the bottles like sitting on the edge of your seat.
As usual, Steven was very thorough and reviewed each fragrance like putting on a presentation on a projector. I’m now looking forward to win either 21 Conduit St or Musc Pallas.
Thank you to François and team, as well as Michelyn and team for this opportunity. I’m your forever fan from California, USA.

  • Well, without wanting to sound like I’m buttering up Oli, the fragrance I know I want to try, and hopefully win, is the one he co-created – 21 Conduit St. And as someone who would like to describe themselves as “aromatic and impactful” (hahaha :P) I would like to own a fragrance that matches my personality. And for Steven in his video to go on to describe 21 Conduit Street as being “idiosyncratic” and having “pizzazz” – well, two more ways I’d describe myself! So, it’s very clear that I’ve made my choice.

London, UK – 21 Conduit Street

  • Aleisha Gomez says:

I enjoy Steven’s videos so much and how he breaks down fragrances in a concise yet effective way. I own Remember Me and have had Fire at Will on my list for quite some time. But, this was the first time I had my antennas go up for Musc Pallas. The way Steven described it made me think oooo that’s another one for me!

  • I would love to have Musc Pallas, I have never tried any fragrance from Jovoy. I live NY . Thank You so much for this opportunity.

  • I enjoyed reading about patchouli covering up body odour and the 1950’s high roller. Steven mentioned that all five are unisex, my kind of scent. Happy Anniversary ÇaFleureBon. If lucky I’d choose Les Jeux sont Faits. MI USA

  • I believe I should win the Jovoy Fragrance Psychedelique giveaway because this scent perfectly aligns with my love for rich, complex fragrances that tell a story. Psychedelique’s deep, earthy patchouli and warm amber notes reflect my appreciation for bold, expressive perfumes that stand out and leave a lasting impression. Winning this giveaway would not only be an incredible way to experience one of Jovoy’s most iconic creations, but also allow me to share my genuine passion for niche perfumery with others. I’d proudly wear it, review it, and let the world know why Psychedelique is a masterpiece worth discovering.

  • Jonlyn Williams says:

They all sound amazing and I’ve been wanting to add Jovoy to my collection. The one I would choose is Remember Me. I love Vanilla fragrances.

  • Cebisile Ednah Mathaba says:

I would like to have my noise on Jovoy
Jovoy Paris Les Jeux Sont Faits
Just because I love booze scent and the fact that is supposed to be loud and amber, sounds like my type of scent

  • Remember me sounds amazing and love the perfumers work. Thank you for the opportunity.

  • Sabrina Young says:

After listening to Steve give amazing reviews and recommendations, I have decided that I would love to have the honor of winning a bottle of Remember Me.

  • Oli’s description of Remember Me as “a chai latte served amongst frangipani flowers” is so lovely and vivid! Please do transport me to a cozy cafe surrounded by exotic blooms! I also loved that Steven pointed out how well the “evocative, sweet, and endearing” name suits the scent. I’d love to win Remember Me and experience Cecile Zarokian’s mastery of gourmand elements firsthand! From the USA

  • The perspectives of the written review and video review for Remember Me are so different that it’s causing me concern, but I’d still like to win it. Marlow describes the frangipani as a strong note that sits atop gourmand elements of the fragrance. A masterfully deployed dry tea note is another reason for me to hope that Remember Me isn’t too sweet for my taste. Conversely, the video review mentions the beautiful quality of the vanilla and amber. Gavrielatos recommends the perfume as a gourmand for those looking for something on “the sweeter side of things.” I’m from Virginia, and while I adore sweet tea in real life, I don’t want my tea fragrances to be very sweet.

  • Jennifer Lecher says:

I think the composition of “Remember Me” sounds uniquely interesting but I would gladly try any of these fragrances. I am in Fairview, Oregon USA.
All of these fragrances sound wonderful. Steven describes them beautifully, as well.

  • Remember me is a the scent I would love to try! I purchased fire at will a few months ago and it is GONE I used that baby upppp fast. It was sooo delicious!!!! Trying out different scent and finding out I enjoy scents that I didn’t enjoy in the past let’s me know my nose has changed!!!!

  • I would love to win Musc Pallas. Oli’s descriptions are so visual, I can see the fragrance notes. And I love the way Steven describes fragrances! Creamy and velvety smooth is how I want to smell day or night. Year round fragrance that I could also use as a base, so versatile. Who could ask for more than that? I own and love Remember me and Fire at Will. Winning Musc Pallas would give me great joy and complete my fragrance wardrobe.

  • Between Oli’s eloquent fragrance stories and Steven’s straight-to-the-point impressions, y’all have offered a pretty comprehensive picture of each of these scents! Remember Me sounds absolutely divine with its chai latte and frangipani combination – I’d be thrilled to win this one as my introduction to Jovoy. I’m based in the US and haven’t tried any Jovoy Paris perfumes yet.

  • I appreciate how Oli captures the essence of each fragrance through vivid imagery while Steven cuts right to the personal experience lol. Remember Me has me dreaming about that cardamom-ginger milk and frangipani floating atop gourmand elements- yum!! That’s definitely the one I’d love to win! Greetings and thanks-
    US

  • I loved learning about Steven’s favorite Les Jeux Sont Faits as a portrait of a 1950s high roller! Though that sounds incredible, I’m most drawn to Remember Me’s chai latte and frangipani vibe. I’d love to win this and add it to my collection here in the US

  • What a dilemma. Almost impossible to choose. Having watched the Redolessence video and read each intro, I can just tell that Les Jeux Sont Faits or Psychedelique are calling my name. Yet…as luck would have it…I have been longing for a truly special musk for a while and have believed I would not find any truly inspirational musks any more. Oli – you got me with ‘sparkling’! You just absolutely nailed it for me. If I am lucky enough to be selected, I would love Musc Pallas, please! I am in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, US. Thank you for holding this giveaway! And thank you, Steven, for making scent come alive in video – very challenging!

  • I really enjoyed reading Oli’s introduction and learning more about Jovoy and the 5 perfumes presented.
Based on Steven’s amazing reviews, the perfume that caught my attention was Remember Me – a beautiful, warm vanilla and amber combination, amazing for gourmand lovers such as me. That’s the one I’d love to win!
My favorite Jovoy is Fire at will.
    Happy Easter from Croatia, EU.

  • I’ve been a long-time fan of Jovoy Paris — their fragrances are bold, expressive, and always rooted in a sense of classic elegance. I own and love several from the house: Incident Diplomatique, Psychédélique, Les Jeux Sont Faits, L’Art de la Guerre, and Private Label — each one feels like it tells a story with character and conviction.
I really appreciated Oli Marlow’s written introduction — especially the way he connected each perfume to its context and personality without ever making them feel boxed in. His description of 21 Conduit Street as a modern fougère with rhubarb and that rich Javanese vetiver was especially intriguing. I also enjoyed Steven’s video review — you can feel his passion and deep familiarity with the brand, and his comments on Remember Me and Musc Pallas made me want to revisit them too.
If I were lucky enough to win, I’d love to receive 21 Conduit Street. It sounds like the perfect next addition to my Jovoy collection. I live in France.

  • Named for a French expression that translates to “the bets are placed”, Les Jeux Sont Faits typifies the early wave of Jovoy’s perfumes perfectly. It is big, it’s loud and it’s kind of outrageous but it also nails its brief perfectly – an olfactory portrait of a 1950’s high roller who wasn’t afraid to bet big, drink large and defend his honour with his fists. Amelie Bourgeois painted this rich human soup with rum, tobacco, amber and cumin”.- Oli Marlow A beautiful description from Steven and Oli I am really intrigued by the rum and tobacco combination and the dark and rich qualities. If I am lucky to win I would love Les Jeux Sont Faits. Thanks a lot from the UK

  • Jovoy Paris Psychedelique is a powerhouse patchouli perfume. -Oli Marlow I am a self confessed Patchouli lover I am intrigued by the chocolate and patchouli combination sounds luxurious and mysterious. If I am successful would love to win Psychadelique. Thanks a million from the UK

  • wonderscent.mari says:

JOVOY is such a special house and has been on my radar for a long time! I have long admired for its refined and evocative creations. Their ability to capture emotion and narrative in a bottle is remarkable!
Remember Me completely stole my heart with its comforting milk and spice, as dear Oli describes the unique shifting to this spiceness, the tea accord and the frangipani made this fragrance that stays with you, both figuratively and literally.
Love Steven’s descriptions cause are as always on point, with great descriptions of main notes to help me understand each fragrance. Musc Pallas really intrigued me as he mentioned that its beautiful velvety nuanced pearl like Musc scent.
The one that stands out for me is Remember Me, cause it was an instant love at first sniff ❤️
I am located in EU and would be beyond overjoyed to win this generous giveaway!
    Happy Easter to everyone

  • Gosh, how can anyone decide on which one? I have managed to sample a few Jovoy fragrances and I cannot get enough. Blown away by this house and its story. I would dream to one day visit in France. If I had to pick one from Steven’s list, I’d have to say Psychedelique, but can’t go wrong with any of them!

  • Oli’s write-up is basically perfume poetry. I could almost smell the patchouli in Psychedelique just from his words. There’s something so immersive about the way he describes scent—textured, personal, cinematic. Steven’s video balances that energy so well with clear, grounded takes. I loved how natural he sounded, like a friend geeking out with you. I’d love to win Remember Me, it sounds like the kind of comforting magic I want to carry everywhere.

  • FragranceFrenzyS says:

Oli had me at “1950s high roller”, Les Jeux Sont Faits sounds like a movie in a bottle. His writing brings a kind of old-school charm I really felt. And Steven, bless him, really knows how to break things down without losing the soul of the scent. Watching his video was like a mini masterclass but chill. My vote for the giveaway? Definitely Les Jeux Sont Faits, I’m all about the drama and rum-soaked swagger.
    I am from the EU

  • Oli’s writing is so vibey—it’s like reading a stylish blog that knows its ingredients inside out. I appreciate how he captures the essence without overloading on jargon. Steven’s video had great pacing and solid explanations, very approachable. I’m lowkey obsessed with the sound of Musc Pallas—peachy iris wrapped in musk? Say less.
    EU

  • AromaAdventurer says:

I LOVED Oli’s take on 21 Conduit St—he made vetiver and lavender sound unexpectedly edgy. That hashish detail? I need to smell that. His style feels intimate, like he’s letting you into the lab a little. Steven’s energy in the video was great—informative but never stiff, and you can tell he’s passionate. I’d be beyond thrilled to win 21 Conduit St, it just sounds like a whole vibe.

    I am from the EU

  • LindenNoir says:

Reading Oli’s description of Remember Me made me hungry and emotional at the same time? Frangipani, chai, vanilla—it’s giving creamy nostalgia. His writing is so vivid, I could imagine the texture of the scent. Steven totally nailed it in the video—super chill delivery but packed with insight. My dream win would be Remember Me. It just feels like me in perfume form.

    EU, Germany

  • What a dreamy giveaway! I thoroughly loved Oli’s brief but precise presentation of each of the five, and then proceeded to listen to Steven’s more detailed and personal experience of each. I have to say, I’m thoroughly impressed! Each of these fragrances sounds like an absolutely stunner in their own right, and man, could they be more different! The statement that I find sums up the house of Jovoy, from this article, is that it demonstrates such extensive craftsmanship, being able to deliver fantastically executed fragrances from such different scent profiles.
I am also having a real hard time choosing one, were I so lucky to win – they all speak to me in different ways. And while I am a huge fan of musk and would love to smell Pallas, and Remember Me sounds absolutely glorious with its cozy frangipani-faceted vanillic gourmandise, and Psychedelic is described by Steven as being the patchouli lover’s go-to, I think I am most curious now about 21 Conduit St. The grapefruit-rhubarb combo with a vetiver finish resonates with me at the moment.
    Thanks, from the EU!

  • photo_perfection says:

Hello pt2 of co-curated list of Jovoy fragrances , this time like a basket case with 5 different types of fragrances, unique treats, lots of fun and positive emotions.
Francois Henin and Michelyn Camen share quite a lot of values , both aesthetes surely with their own inimitable style , both affection affection for art , craftsmanship and business is noticeable , without being corny , both seems quite humble.
Oli Marlow introduction provided a short but nice background to where and when Psychedelique, Les Jeux Sont Faits, Remember Me, 21 Conduit St and Musc Pallas were created , and gave them an overview which i appreciate.
Redolessence , Michelyn and Oli Marlow grabbed me the most with the rich history of both Jovoy and Cafleurebon .
Les Jeux Sont Faits provoked my curiosity , an olfactory portrait of the 1950’s , with a lot of contrasts, from dried fruits to angelica, rum , amber and honeyed tobacco. Amelie Bourgeois work is like invading the senses poetic invitation. Les Jeux Sont Faits aspects are impossible to resist the fragrance I’d love to win.
I have smelled Ambre Premier and it’s delicious
Thank you for the draw EU

  • Timothy_knows_well says:

    Hello from UK
Never been to the worldwide famous Jovoy Paris , but Jovoy UK boutique in Mayfair is my go-to place to shop niche fragrances , the place I discovered brands like Electimuss London, Sora Dora, Jovoy and many more.
I really like how Michelyn Camen and Francois Henin are always keeping his sight forward , and never looked back , that’s why you’re so successful.
I’d love to win the Les Jeux Sont Faits based Oli Marlow insightful information , Redolessence top notch reviews , and my previous experience with Jovoy brand , delighted owner of Fire at Will + Psychedelique and I’m envisioning excellence once again. I like to bet , drink large (from time to time) , rum , tobacco and I do defend my honor with my fists if I have to.
    Thank you so much

Hey there – Happy 15th Anniversary
The unique merging of one read and one video in one article I enjoyed very much , the Five Jovoy Paris fragrances you should be wearing with Michelyn Camen , Oli Marlow and Redolessence.
I’m proud of having an Olympic triathlon gold medalist in my family and Jovoy and Cafleurebon journeys instantly reminded me of all the “blood sweat and tears” stories I’ve heard. All the resolutions, faithfulness to achieve the final goal to step on top of the Olympic games podium i can relate to what the energetic Jovoy creative director and owner , and Cafleurebon Editor-in-Chief went through a lot so he can be on the Olympic Fragrance podium. What greatly helped them in their journeys is viewing perfumery as an art , no wonder only best of the best brands can be found in the Paris, London, Qatar and Dubai boutiques , and on Cafleurebon pages.
I now know more about the Psychedelique, Les Jeux Sont Faits, Remember Me, 21 Conduit St and Musc Pallas origin , and I’m all for chocolate patchouli flourishing with Psychedelique , boozy smoky , tobacco and leather reality with Les Jeux Sont Faits , the elegance of the vanilla and chai tea of Remember Me, the modern fougere 21 Conduit St and the gauzy and silky Musc Pallas.
To me the the rum and tobacco aspects , the high end tobacco , the gentle spices , and the big bowl of boldness are the most appealing sides of Les Jeux SontFaits , such an alluring fragrance . I’m expecting an intoxicating and daring haze that came as a result of Amelie Bourgeois work .
I had a terrific time learning about the 5 recommend fragrances , and I’d be happy to win Les Jeux Sont Faits
    Thanks
    EU

  • Based on the enthusiasm of the video review I’d choose Musc Pallas for the draw. The written portion confirmed it’s a powdery musk which I do enjoy. US

  • So of course, Steven the wordsmith piqued my interest as I am not familiar with the house. Hmmm… Les Jeux sont faits??? Then I came here and dug deeper…total confusion. They all sound great!!! After reading though LJSF sounds a bit too masculine leaning for me so my pick is Remember me! Texas

  • Frozen.Eyes says:

Remarkably enjoyable article , bravo to both Francois Henin and Michelyn Camen for their success story . I learned about how everything started , about 5 distinct creations and the 2 overviews of them.
I firmly believe Francois Henin decision to offer such diverse offerings and not focus on one or two genres is one of the main reasons why he’s so successful.
To me Cafleurebon is slowly becoming my most visited blog and I feel tempted once again by both Oli Marlow and Redolessence.I own Psychedelique , and I do want to know all other Jovoy manifestations, and in particular Les Jeux Sont Faits, Remember Me, 21 Conduit St and Musc Pallas.

I’m torn between Les Jeux Sont Faits and 21 Conduit St , one bold and mysterious and the other calm , aromatic and impactful.
It is big, it’s loud and it’s kind of outrageous but it also nails its brief perfectly – an olfactory portrait of a 1950’s high roller who wasn’t afraid to bet big, drink large and defend his honour with his fists – Oli Marlow
I guess Les Jeux Sont Faits would be my choice, sophisticated fragrance pairing tobacco, rum and amber. Then throw in that some fists and cumin and I just know this is heavenly. I need Les Jeux Sont Faits like now lol. Oli Marlow made me think of how the gambling background is giving the fragrance an alpha demeanor , and I feel tempted now.
    Appreciate the chance – EU

  • teatreesoil says:

While at first glance, these perfumes are not for me given the notes, I do enjoy seeing the unorthodox/more creative combinations that Javoy Paris goes with. Oli Marlow does a good job making notes I normally despise (ie, lavender) sound quite appealing (downright appetizing, to be honest)! And then Steven gives more details in his overview that makes me feel as if I really should be more open minded, especially about patchouli! 21 Conduit Palace sounds fun and delightful, and I am curious about how the almond plays into the sparkling grapefruit and rhubarb opening. I will have to seek out samples for Psychedelique especially as I am quite curious about the type of patchouli Javoy Paris uses in it.

Thanks for the review/overview from VA, USA

  • WARMING_JOY says:

Such a luminous , full of positive energy , mystery and positive transformations essay with multiple throwback to different eras, where all begin for Jovoy Paris.
Oli Marlow, Redolessence and Michelyn Camen words i find captivating for its vivid imagery and evocative descriptions of different kinds . In their own way the trio intertwined 5 journey with distinct fragrances like Psychedelique, Les Jeux Sont Faits, Remember Me, 21 Conduit St and Musc Pallas
I’m new to Jovoy , out of the five suggestions I’d gladly wear Psychedelique, Les Jeux Sont Faits and 21 Conduit St. Les Jeux Sont Faits won me over for its tobacco-boozy-spicy combination with gambling games . Oli Marlow and Redolessence convinced me that all facets in Les Jeux Sont Faits fuse together by Amelie Bourgeois in a truly immersive experience. Thanks
    I am from the EU

  • Snooker.player says:

Michelyn Camen fondness of Jovoy fragrances and Francois Henin talent is apparent from Part 1 , and that doesn’t come as a surprise. Part 2 was just as good where all Michelyn Camen, Oli Marlow and Redolessence contribution was noticeable.
Exactly like my gem Fire at Will , all other Jovoy recommendations are another precious stones rooted in French traditions and perfumery, but taking on a modern twist and appearing to be exquisite .
I love the idea of a powerhouse chocolate patchouli with luxurious sillage in Psychedelique, the milky smooth tea and vanilla in Remember Me and the courageous personality of Les Jeux Sont Faits , and it was hard to pick between the three. Redolessence called Les Jeux Sont Faits “boozy , rich , dark and mysterious” and Oli Marlow 1950’s olfactory portrait made me want to win the fragrance.
Cafleurebon and Jovoy means craftsmanship ,legit fusion of skill , intellect and passion . I thought my favorite Jovoy Fire at Will would be part of your Top 5 but I’m glad I learned about Psychedelique, Les Jeux Sont Faits, Remember Me, 21 Conduit St and Musc Pallas .
Thank you from the chance EU

  • I would love to have a full bottle of 21 Conduit Str. I got a tester bottle two years and it was really amazing. Thank you

One particular phrase caught my attention right away: “Named for a French expression that translates to “the bets are placed”, Les Jeux Sont Faits typifies the early wave of Jovoy’s perfumes perfectly.”
Beautifully put Oli Marlow , I’m impressed. Taking time to do enjoy your sometimes guilty pleasures is a must for me ,  especially when passion,  rum and tobacco are involved , there’s a energy surrounding the fragrance , that’s uncommon nowadays.
Cafleurebon very essence is rooted in exclusivity. You found a way to combine ultimate luxury, passion and contribution , in my opinion a very clear path to happiness and success , no wonder you shared not one but five excellent fragrances with us the readers.
Thanks to Redolessence, Michelyn Camen and Oli Marlow I’m attracted to the whole Jovoy culture and style of fragrances now
    Appreciate the chance EU

I personally find the house of Jovoy to be a built upon columns of quality and creativity. One of my favorite brands in niche perfumery. My first experience with this house was with one of my all time favorite patchouli fragrances, Psychedelique. There is something quite special about this “chocolatey” patchouli creation. Both Steve and Oli were right on with their expression of this work of art in this article. Remember Me and 21 Conduit Street are the two others that are a must for my wife and I. They are all regulars in our fragrance rotations throughout the year.
The 2 mentioned in this article that I have not yet tried are Musc Pallas and Les Jeux Sont Faits. Both sound like fragrances and my wife MUST have. Looking forward to getting our noses on both of these. We flipped a coin and Les Jeux Sont Faits was the winner of which fragrance we would choose, should we be picked for this giveaway. 🙂

Oli and Steven have offered such a well-rounded view of these five! Psychedelique’s chocolatey patchouli sounds intriguing, but I’m captivated by Remember Me’s chai latte and frangipani combo. As a fragrance enthusiast in the US, I’d be thrilled to win Remember Me – it would be my first of Jovoy Paris!

  • Oli’s ability to paint olfactory pictures is remarkable and I’m so impressed by the fact he co-developed 21 Conduit St! Steven describing Remember Me as an ambery but still gourmand-adjacent vanilla adds another dimension I’m eager to experience. I’ve gotten decants of Fire at Will and will certainly be dipping my toes further into Jovoy Paris… I would absolutely treasure winning Remember Me

  • A few years ago, I discovered JOVOY and fell in love with it. I recognize the excellent quality of its ingredients and the refinement of its scents. Three years ago, I gave La Liturgie des Heures to my husband for his birthday, He loves incense, I know it’s not a fragrance for everyone, but he loved it. I’d like to have it for myself L’Arbre de la Connaissance, I got a vial when I bought my husband’s perfume and its fresh, herbal charm seems ideal for these upcoming warm days. I hope to win the giveaway.

  • I feel that both introductions were about as useful as simply reading the notes off of fragrantica. Actually, they’re less useful because they take up way more time to deliver the exact same information I can read in five seconds. Nothing said about the experiences projection or longevity which are the the things I look for first when looking up information on a fragrance! That said, I came into this not having any experience with Jovoy and thinking that I would choose Remember Me because I love Cecile’s work but after becoming more aware of the brand I think I have to choose Paychedelique, although I am very intrigued by Les Jeux Sont Faits as well. I am in the USA.

  • Abdel Altamimi says:

All of these fragrances sound amazing, but 21 Conduit St is in the scent family that I lean towards the most. Grapefruit always stands out but combining that with rhubarb and almond…sound innovative and fantastic! Have to try it out. Thanks Redolessence for introducing these to me.

  • I’ve been wanting to try something from Jovoy for a while; something about the bottle style is quite appealing to me. I only dabble in musks but I found the way both Oli and Steven described Musc Pallas as velvety, smooth and pearl-like to sound quite lovely. If I were to win however, I think I would choose Remember Me. I love gourmands that have just a little more character, so the cardamom and condensed milk notes sound just right for me. As Steven described, it sounds quite memorable, rather than just another basic vanilla. USA

Cafleurebon and Jovoy 15 years of scouting and exelance, together with Michelyn Camen, Editor-in-Chief and the two senior editors Oli Marlow and Redolessence observations of Jovoy fragrances were very evocative and made me a bit nostalgic for the days of 10+ years ago , when I for the first time stumbled across niche perfumery.
Oli Marlow clarity when it comes to Cafleurebon , the years of creation of Psychedelic, Les Jeux Sont Faits, Remember Me, 21 Conduit St and Musc Pallas were helpful because I’d like to know when and the main reason fragrances are made of.
Since not a lot of people nowadays can blend passion and artistry in their lives and writings i enjoyed Oli Marlow and Redolessence work very much.
As a fan of Psychedelic I’m always eager to see how all other fragrances would translate into my own personal experiences. Maybe I’d place all my bets with Les Jeux Sont Faits, drink a warm tea with milk and cardamom with Remember Me, be up-to-date with 21 Conduit St or have a shimmering day with Musc Pallas?
I don’t gamble myself, but I’m all for big and loud fragrances, tobacco and rum. That’s why I’m going for Les Jeux Sont Faits.

  • Thanks to Francois Henin for his generosity, and Michelyn Camen for her intro , together with Oli Marlow and Redolessence reviews. Thanks to the general feel of the article started thinking about all kinds of Parisian moments I’d like to experience in the Summer . Visiting Jovoy Paris is in my list already.
Such a nice thing to read , you always focus on hard to find artistic perfumes, passion and cozy memories. I own Jovoy Paris fragrance already, Fire at Will and i can’t wait to try all Psychedelic, Les Jeux Sont Faits, Remember Me, 21 Conduit St and Musc Pallas. I believe Francois Henin and the different perfumers Jacques Flori, Amelie Bourgeois, Cécile Zarokian, Oli Marlow and Marie Schnirer, and Vanina Murraciole all have carefully chosen every single raw material , so their fragrances can tell a different and more unique stories.
Both Psychedelic and Les Jeux Sont Faits intrigued me equally, both huge perfumes with scent profiles I really like. Psychedelic i find particularly interesting because of how famous it is and the leaning towards the chocolate kind of patchouli, and Les Jeux Sont Faits for the honeyed tobacco , rum and spices structure , boozy and fruity accords and the 1950’s connection.
I do feel very special and desired wearing Fire at Will , my favorite Jovoy fragrance, and I know I’d feel the same way wearing Les Jeux Sont Faits
Once again congrats for your 15th anniversary , and fingers crossed

  • I read once again Part1 with Francois Henin and like him I also sign for another 15 years.
You guys are built differently , no mistake Oli Marlow own words proves that “Amelie Bourgeois painted this rich human soup with rum, tobacco, amber and cumin..”
Very emotional description by both OliMarlow and Redolessence , and just as emotional way of highlighting the prestigious heritage of Jovoy by Michelyn Camen in her introduction.
I”m glad to know the Jovoy fragrances I should be wearing consists of 5 magical fragrance with hypnotic trails . My type of scents are Psychedelic, Les Jeux Sont Faits , Remember Me and 21 Conduit St. What fascinated me the most is the share audacity of Les Jeux Sont Faits, bold, loud and ready to throw some fists . A good Jamaican rum and Cuban cigars are always welcomed , hopefully I’ll be able to win Les Jeux Sont Faits. Sincerely thank you from the EU

Last summer I followed Redolessence advice to subscribe and participate in a giveaway, and I’m glad I keep discovering new and interesting great smelling fragrances on your blog. Cafleurebon and Jovoy shared 15th Anniversary is a landmark no doubt – congratulations.
Crafting fine fragrance articles is an art and my expectations for Part 2 were quite high, as usual I’m pleased with Michelyn Camen, Oli Marlow and Redolessence collaboration , a balance of boldness and subtlety , darkness and light .
Jovoy Paris i know by name only , never had a chance to try their fragrances or to visit the 8 boutiques in person. What appeals to me about the article is learning that the house of Jovoy features one of a kind fragrances, all made by established perfumers .
Psychedelic I like for the modern dark chocolate patchouli, Les Jeux Sont Faits for the tobacco and rum , Remember Me for the tea with milk and cardamom, 21 Conduit St for the lavender and how impactful it is and Musc Pallas for the wooly comfort and hints of pear.
After several minutes of thinking I believe the one that stands out for me is Les Jeux Sont Faits, daring mysterious and appealing composition.

The senior editors Oli Marlow and Redolessence theme in every sense of the way confirmed my beliefs that I need both love ,  passion , comfort  , sophisticated fragrances , a bottle of Jamaican rum and Dominican cigars .
To me quality niche perfumery is a must, but I like to know the background of the brand and particular fragrances, that’s where Michelyn Camen and Oli Marlow grabbed me. Where Redolessence always shines was his detailed passionate reviews and knowledge.
The say chocolate is an aphrodisiac , I’d take delight in testing that theory with a hand made Swiss chocolate and a couple of sprays Psychedelic. Or maybe I should play some poker with a glass of rum and hand rolled Cuban cigar and Les Jeux Sont Faits?
Psychedelic and Les Jeux Sont Faits stood out to me the most,  not an easy task to choose between the two.
I’m on board with a fragrance that speaks in a language of 1950’s high roller, and since I play poker, I like Cuban cigars and Dominican rum I feel like Les Jeux Sont Faits is the natural choice for me.
    Warm hugs

Since I’ve always been fascinated by the all the aspects of Jovoy culture I’m glad I stumbled across your great “Five Jovoy Paris perfumes you should be wearing” theme .
Michelyn’s intro emphasizing how found Francois Henin is of Cafleurebon, and for the 2nd time in a couple of weeks giving one reader a chance to win one bottle of choice. No wonder the peaceful and patient energy on Cafleurebon really translates to the love and appreciation shown by the Jovoy owner.
I had some distinct sensory moments with Cafleurebon articles and I can’t get enough , wonderful work by Michelyn Camen, Editor-in-Chief, Oli Marlow and Redolessence.
Love Fire at Will and Psychedelic, and I’d like to also add multiple other Jovoy fragrances to my collection . Since I own Fire at Will and Psychedelic I’m now focused on Les Jeux Sont Faits, Remember Me, 21 Conduit St and Musc Pallas.
I’m not a gambler and I’m not drinking for 10+ years now ,  but I can’t help but to admire the effrontery of Les Jeux Sont Faits. Judging by Oli Marlow and Redolessence impressions i have to say Amelie Bourgeois created a very special fragrance. Boozy , with tobacco,  amber and cumin , the fragrance I’m looking for to win.

What a beautiful and informative article, and continuation of  Cafleurebon and Jovoy 15th Anniversary. I loved equally reading Michelyn Camen and Oli Marlow thoughts and watching Redolessence video. To me you all represents wisdom, renewal and patience , and various other artistic values .
I’m pleased to know the only Jovoy fragrance in my possession the modern 21 Conduit St. found a way to your Top 5 , and also how Oli Marlow was one of co-creators . Such a surprise  !
I’m looking forward to try Psychedelic, Les Jeux Sont Faits, Remember Me and Musc Pallas. Even though all soud equally as great the main reason I’m going with Les Jeux Sont Faits is the sense of confidence and gambling impudence coming from the fragrance . Not to mention i love rum and tobacco.
    Thank you

  • I feel that Jovoy is one of the most underhyped fragrance houses out there. Everything I’ve tried from them has been of exceptional quality and its surprising you don’t hear them mentioned more often in the YouTube space. I loved Oli’s blurbs because they manage to accurately describe each scent in such a succinct way – no fluff or filler and he absolutely nailed the gauzy experience of Musc Pallas and the unctuous feeling of Remember Me. Steven’s video also provided brief yet effective descriptors, but gave us a sense of each fragrance’s potency. I also love that he commended the creative names that Jovoy has chosen for their scents. I’ve tried nearly all of the five here today, and they are all stunning, If I were to be chosen, though, I think I would take the gamble and go for the one I have not tried yet: 21 Conduit Street. I’ve come across it in blogs for years, but have never managed to sample it. With spring going into full effect here in the South, I think it would be perfect. I live in NC, USA.
