Caspian Cherry is the latest release from Electimuss, composed by award-winning perfumer Kevin Mathys. Electimuss Caspian Cherry opens with an irresistibly rich blend of dark maraschino cherries and their luscious syrup, creating a delicious allure that’s hard to resist. As the experience unfolds, enticing aromas of almond and dark chocolate emerge from the depths of the black cherry, balancing a sense of sophistication with a playful twist; this is a cherry experience for the discerning palate. A hint of marzipan adds a luxurious, silky texture, enhancing the indulgent nature of the dark fruitiness as it evolves into something more nuanced and abstract. It’s like a delicious cocktail that’s merging into one muddled in a glass, breaking up the black cherry so it releases more of it’s delicious complexity. Maybe a splash of Kahlua as a coffee aroma melts into creamy coconut and almond with a dusting of cacao. The clever incorporation of darker, bittersweet notes ensures that Caspian Cherry remains indulgent and decadent, striking the perfect balance without tipping into excessive sweetness.

Caspian Sea

Coconut lends Caspian Cherry a glowing tropical warmth, with a gentle vetiver rooty haze. The juiciness of the black cherry has faded into powdery velvety warmth with almond and coconut keeping facets of its scent going. Soft spices join this warm tropical sunny musk, as honey radiates like a brilliant sun. It’s a whole new sensation, of spiced honey making you feel warm and fuzzy as if you’re lying by the sea in a tropical country. Soft powdery woods give a luxurious comfort that makes it wear like warm crushed velvet that’s lightly moving over your skin. Beautifully diffusive and airy yet has complex depth of indulgent yet restrained aromas, each one flowing seamlessly together.

Electimuss Caspian Cherry

The cherry has been plucked from the cocktail glass and its aroma lingers in the dry down, all those softer facets from the opening on which it’s dark rich fruitiness was sitting on are released in dry down, creating a delicious powdery creamy muskiness that’s glowing with soft spices and vetiver. Tonka bean has taken over from the cherry, its more almond-like now, golden with a light honey and cinnamon. Like the stunning Spice D’Arno, Caspian Cherry balances the sweet gourmand elements with more savory or darker elements; it feels like those beautifully balanced cakes in the best patisseries in Paris. A creamy coffee aroma adds more to this French fantasy, giving just a hint of darkness as coconut make you dream of the sea on a bright summer day. Caspian Cherry is a perfume full of aromas that swirl around you, whispering of deliciousness.

A very clean patchouli gives Electimuss Caspian Cherry a moreish cakiness quality; with tonka bean adding a dry bready feel to it, as sandalwood turns this into a sun faded memory or fantasy of a past experience, memories of enjoying this delicious spiced cherry fruit cake. Sandalwood’s powderiness merges with the vetiver making Caspian Cherry feel airy yet cozy. In the air around you there’s a creamy subtle sweetness that’s like gentle shavings of white creamy chocolate over the coffees darkness.  Again blending into the creamy sandalwood with just a hint of coconut still as if it’s been  lightly sprayed as these aromas flow into each other like the Caspian Sea. When you get up all close and personal with Caspian Cherry, it’s purrs reveals its desires, that dark coffee has a kink of char running through it. The honey note gives it a wink of animalic wildness that played off the sweet airiness makes its feel seductive in an  unconscious way. It is like a cosy warm hug that lingers too long, as you bury your nose into the other’s neck, holding tighter than you should. Just a little naughty wink to that Caspian Cherry exudes from morning to night. This is my kind of gourmand, its intoxicating and an utterly delicious wear.

Notes: Amaretto Liqueur, black cherry, dark chocolate, cinnamon, vetiver, honey, coconut, coffee, patchouli, sandalwood, white chocolate, tonka bean.

Disclosure: Electimuss Caspian Cherry was sent to J, his thoughts and nose are his own.

Looking into the Electimuss catalogue, I wouldn’t per se call any of their other fragrances a true gourmand but Caspian Cherry is to me. An amazing blend of cherry, chocolate and amaretto liquor mixed with a perfectly timed release for this time of the year, it’s poised to be one of Electimuss’ best. I am a lover of gourmands first and foremost so reading on these notes and how they wear, I’m eager to try this one. My favorite Electimuss is Trajan but I’d say Caspian Cherry could dethrone it easily. I’m located in the USA.

i like the tactile descriptions here! i’m so intrigued as how the cherry and other more gourmand notes work together!

  • I’ve been wanting to try this as soon as I heard about it. I love cherry and coffee but this review has sold me because there is a sexiness to this scent too, and I need that. That feeling of the long hug but it ending in a kiss. Caspian Cherry sounds perfect for winter dinner dates here in the greater Seattle, Washington area. I have never smelled an Electimuss perfume but can safely say this is my favourite. Cherry and vetiver?!?! Wow

  • This is my favorite Electimus London and my favorite cherry perfume. I have a sample of it and I’m savoring it. The cherry and chocolate and coconut all beautifully blended together make this such a pleasure to wear. The dry down to me is powdery sweet and just perfection. I’m in love! I think J’s review describes the notes so vividly and captures how well they are blended.

  • The theme of exploration is again present with this release, showcasing Roman culture; in the review, J emphasizes the Amaretto giving it that booziness; combined with a dark cherry and dark chocolate that gives it depth in the opening. J emphasizes this is a cherry for a discerning palate– paired with a silky marzipan, Kahlua coffee, a creamy, tropical coconut, an almond dusted in cacao, creates an indulgent, fruity cocktail that is complex and nuanced—indulgent without being cloyingly sweet. Combined with notes of patchouli, spiced honey, sandalwood to balance the sweetness, Caspian Cherry evokes a subtle seductiveness.

  • Thank you for this beautiful review of Electimuss Caspian Cherry! I’m fascinated by the combination of cherry and woody notes, which sounds both luxurious and unique. I also admire how the brand ties its creations to history and storytelling. Winning this fragrance would be an incredible way to explore their artistry and add a touch of elegance to my collection. I’m in Romania, Europe!and would love the chance to experience this masterpiece. Thank you for hosting this giveaway!
I have participated in many giveaways but no luck so far. I hope this is my lucky one.

  • I have never tried anything from this house before but the notes look absolutely amazing! Please count me in! Thanks! EU

  • Cozy, warm and delicious sounds just right for this time of year when amaretto and cherry are such seasonal pleasures. It also reminds me somewhat of the treats described in C.S Lewis’s Prince Caspian tale, which is a family favorite. I have never tried anything from Electimuss – Caspian Cherry would be a first! Thank you for this generous draw. I live in the US.

  • Honestly, I love the use of AI imagery that J generated, and the feelings an emotions that they evoke. And if the fragrance smells anything like the evocative images feel, then this might end up being one of my favourite fragrances! My favourite Electimuss fragrance is Trajan (I won both Trajan and Imperium) and I live in London, UK

  • J’s complex review teleported me near the perfume described, it’s been like I had it in my hands.
what I learned about this masterpiece is essentially that it represents a vivid sensory journey, balancing gourmand notes with complex ones, layered so well that the resulting product evolves more and more on the skin.
I really would like to have the opportunity to smell this opera.
I live in Italy, my favourite Electimus’s London perfume is Amber Aquilaria.

  • I love how the fragrance is described as extravagant and tantalizing that captures the lavish scent of cherries with a gourmand backdrop. It opens with the playful sweetness of amaretto liqueur and juicy black cherries, balanced with bittersweet dark chocolate. I live in Trzebnica, Poland, EU. Trajan would be my favourite from Electimuss.

  • I live in Austin, Texas, and this would be my first time trying an Electimuss fragrance! It sounds amazing! J’s review made Caspian Cherry sound so unique with its mix of dark cherries, almond, chocolate, and warm tropical notes. I love the idea of a scent that’s both indulgent and balanced. Thank you for the opportunity!

  • Electimuss imperium is my personal favorite, but this one sounds like it smells fantastic as well. I like how he describes the cherry as if it’s like a cocktail plus I love any scent that has coconut so this one definitely sounds like a hit.

I am a fan of Cherry fragrances; it’s one of my favorite notes! Cherry has to be done right or it becomes too foodie. From J’s review I see that they did an excellent job blending boozy notes with chocolate and cherry. This will be a bomb!

  • Ooh this sounds like a winter dependence! I love the combination of cinnamon and dark chocolate and we all know dark cherry and marzipan is a match plus marzipan and chocolate is a classic too. The vetiver and Tonka sounds like it keeps it all warm and dry and in check.
Thank you for the generous giveaway. I am in the U.S.

  • I love to travel just as well as I love fragrances, and just when you think you know all cherry gourmands Kevin Mathys comes along to show how wrong you are
Caspian Cherry is not just a high quality ingredients cherry in the vain of a fragrance that already exists, absolutely not ! Electimuss London and Kevin Mathys have built unorthodox fragrance from ground zero , admirable approach. Even J Wearescentient was caught off guard by Caspian Cherry novelty smell.
The spiced honey , gentle vetiver , dark and white chocolate together with the maraschino cherries combination comes as a gentle reminder of how there are still brands like Electimuss and perfumers like Kevin Mathys who still posses imagination, and value inventiveness .
My favorite Electimuss is the cardamom heavy Aquila Absolute

    Howdies people
I’m found of how J Wearescentient decided to combine two different reflections on Electimuss Caspian Cherry , one like a sun faded memory , and another more French and patisserie like in a singular experience for the readers , nice idea.
Apparently Kevin Mathys is not just a good and young perfumer, and J Wearescentient is not just a reviewer because both have a soft spot for art and creativity .
Caspian Cherry is an elegant gourmand , where powdery sandalwood, amaretto liqueur, chocolate and coffee , on the flip side because of the slightly animalic wildness of the honey also possesses bolder personality. Special fragrance i’d cherish if I win.
I have no previous experience with Electimuss London fragrances

  • SayNoToDrugsAndAlcohol says:

Sinse I love gourmands, eating cherries and Electimus London I’m glad I stumbled across your great “ Caspian Cherry” theme
It’s striking that cherry and chocolate perfumes could go into such a different directions , from floral with rich undertones , to ultra sweet gourmands , earthy and woody and we have the best of both worlds with Electimuss London Caspian Cherry
Other than the good Parisian bakery connection with Caspian Cherry, what i enjoyed the most in J Wearescentient article is the natural and high quality raw materials , the hints of darkness and sandalwood information, and how there’s all kinds of different chocolate and cherries nuances in it.
Kevin Mathys picked up only the best from his experience with desserts , and with the J Wearescentient contribution I believe I found a posh gourmand
Aquila Absolute is my favorite Electimuss London fragrance

Wow Caspian Cherry sounds like a phenomenal gourmand fragrance!! I love cherry, almond and chocolate notes in a fragrances and Electimus always executes superbly. My favorite from the house is currently Spice D’arno but this one sounds like it could take that honor. This has to be a great date night scent too!! Can’t wait to get my nose on this one.

There’s nothing basic on Cafleurebon , the fragrances and the fragrance information here are multidimensional every single time.
I’ve been to Italy a couple of times, and the delta of Ural river in Kazakhstan , and the whole Caspian Sea I’ll never forget.
Kevin Mathys and Electimuss set the bar , really … really high with some exquisite pastry chef made deserts , and the Caspian region inspirations behind Caspian Cherry.
I know niche fragrances and with the fearsome competitiveness on the market i need something to really grab my attention, and Electimuss Caspian Cherry high quality raw materials, mouthwatering gourmand connections and sandalwood aroma melding with the dark maraschino cherries did the trick for me.
Through Caspian Cherry I can book a flight to both Florence and Kazakhstan , whiteout actually being there. You can’t beat that
To my taste Persephone’s Patchouli is the best Electimuss fragrance
    Cheers EU

The brand of Electimuss i don’t know yet , the talanted Kevin Mathys i do because of Kajal IV.
I often think of how Olya Bar once said perfumes can trigger past memories and forge future ones, Caspian Cherry instantly triggered J Wearescentient good times memories , cocktails , velvety warmth and is keep forging a lot of new ones with its compex and sweet cake like aroma.
White and black chocolate , woods and tonka bean are favorites of mine, let alone how J Wearescentient said Caspian Cherry has a dark coffee with a kink of char running through it , exquisite pleasure I’d love to win.
Thank you very much Electimuss and Kevin Mathys, and special thanks to J Wearescentient for the hard work

  • Wow, in a market getting full of cherry-centric blends, this one sounds like a true stand-out! The darkness and richness of the undernotes that bloom with the fragrance definitely sound like something worth experiencing, especially at this cold time of year where it will warm. The description sounds like glowing warm light somehow. The only Electimuss I have tried so far is Black Caviar. I live in the US.

  • The only Electimuss London fragrance I’ve smelled is Amber Aquilaria, it smells fantastic , boozy woody vanilla with a touch of rose. To my knowledge the house most popular fragrance, at least on Instagram and YouTube, Steven is also praising it regularly in his Fall and Winter top10 videos.
No wonder Kevin Mathys is considered by many to be a future master perfumer, amaretto liqueur, black cherries, chocolate and sandalwood combination is a match made in Heaven. Little black dress category fragrance if you ask me
What appeals to me in J review is how genuinely amazed he is by Electimuss London fragrances as a brand , and in particular Caspian Cherry, it’s not just a review he had to do, he enjoyed it every single moment.
Cozy , classy , delectable and a bit lustful at the same time, I’d love to win Caspian Cherry
    Thanks for the draw

  • I am in the USA, and I am a registered reader. The dark coffee has a kink of char running through it. The honey note gives it a wink of animalic wildness that, played off the sweet airiness, makes it feel seductive in an unconscious way! I tend to adore aromas that are unconsciously seductive. As far as a favorite Electimuss fragrance, I sadly have not so far had the aromatic pleasure of this brand. I am excited to try this one as a first.

  • All of the notes seem to blend together well. I like the description of a delicious cocktail and a spiced cherry fruit cake. My favorite is Trajan. Thank you for another wonderful review and draw. MI USA

Electimuss London has been releasing gems lately, one after another and Caspian Cherry seems to be a high karat diamond.
I stumbled across Electimuss by mistake but I’m so glad I did , with my big Spring samples purchase i received a couple of different Electimuss samples I haven’t actually ordered Cupid’s Kiss, Vanilla Edesia, Mercurial Cashmere and Amber Aquilaria. The one I ordered afterwards was Vanilla Edesia.
I have a penchant for high grade gourmand fragrances , from chocolate coated cherries , to smoky and woody, i like them all.
J Wearescentient examination of Caspian Cherry fascinated me , the fragrance is so posh , and the new orange flacon is truly beautiful .
The amaretto ,chocolate and coffee notes Kevin Mathys used are welcomed departure from the dozens of the typical Lost Cherry wannabe fragrances on the market , the main reason I’m so intrigued.
The subtitle rooty haze of the vetiver , coconut and tonka bean do bring quite a lot to the table , exactly the table I’d like to sit in.
    Thank you very much

  • What more to ask? Made by Kevin Mathys exotic cocktail with amaretto liqueur, spices , variety of different chocolates , exceptional materials ! I love the orange lower part of the bottle , the golden top and i love this house , Persephone’s Patchouli i own.
I also love this specific moreish cakiness quality , and i find ineresting the whole airy yet cozy delicious atmosphere. Thanks for the opportunity to win such a novelty fragrance like Caspian Cherry , and also thanks to J Wearescentient for the French fantasy review.

  • Once again all the Cafleurebon information delivered by J Wearescentient made me wonder, and think for a moment

“..The clever incorporation of darker, bittersweet notes ensures that Caspian Cherry remains indulgent and decadent, striking the perfect balance without tipping into excessive sweetness . ”

Where I should even start with this time ?!? Should I start with J passion for creative fragrances , splash of Kahlua comparison , Kevin Mathys being the perfumer, the delicious spicy-woody warm cherry gourmand profile, or maybe the emotional connection with the Roman society , all are equally as important for the forming of Caspian Cherry identity .
Thanks to J I know Caspian Cherry is just great , showing up the true elegance of niche perfumery .

  • Caspian Cherry by Electimuss London i think is modern, multifaceted fragrance with a high compliment factor.
All nuances J Wearescentient told us about i find attractive, the spices , the sandalwood , the maraschino cherries , creamy coconut , chocolate powder and the elegant dusty cacao sweetness. I’m also really looking for the clever incorporation of darker, bittersweet twists , because I’ve never smelled anything like that before, even J was surprised in a good way.
Good performance, and complint factor are always welcomed , Electimuss London and do know well how to make it happen with sustainable ingredients Amber Aquilaria is in my possession, compliments galore every single time I’m wearing it .
The whole article, not just Caspian Cherry information made me smile , thanks J
    Overly exciting giveaway, USA

  • I love how J paints such a vivid picture it’s not just about the notes but the whole experience. The idea of dark cherries melting into almond, chocolate, and coconut, with a splash of Kahlua and that warm, sunny vibe? It’s like the ultimate indulgent escape. I’m obsessed with the idea of it being both decadent and restrained, balancing sweetness with those darker, earthy tones.

I haven’t tried any Electimuss perfumes yet, but this one might have to be my first. J’s description of the dry-down, with creamy sandalwood and a subtle coffee-char twist, has me completely hooked. Sounds like it wraps around you like a warm, spiced hug, who wouldn’t want that?

  • A beautiful description by J what really stood out was the meticulous blending of the notes this is how gourmand should be like. Spiced Cherry fruit cake, Chocolate, Coffee Honey this sounds delicious. My favorite from this house is Gladiator Oud. Thanks a lot from the UK

  • Caspian Cherry balances the sweet gourmand elements with more savory or darker elements; it feels like those beautifully balanced cakes in the best patisseries in Paris. A creamy coffee aroma adds more to this French fantasy, giving just a hint of darkness as coconut make you dream of the sea on a bright summer day. Caspian Cherry is a perfume full of aromas that swirl around you, whispering of deliciousness. I love how the perfumer has balanced the sweet, savory and darker elements to create this decadent aroma. My favorite from this house is Perisphones Pathouli. Thanks a million from the UK

    Hey there
The unique merging of two different types of chocolate , coffee density , hints vetiver , and some scoops of raw honey are the most appealing sides of Electimuss London Caspian Cherry , such an alluring fragrance . I’m expecting an intoxicating haze that came as a result of Kevin Mathys merging.
I’m all for creativity, originality, using great raw materials . Also no one can deny Electimuss London bottles are well made pieces of art .
There are three equally as great Electimuss London fragrances Cupid’s Kiss, Amber Aquilaria and Persephone’s Patchouli. On second thought maybe Amber Aquilaria is the best Electimuss but it’s close.
I had a terrific time reading J Wearescentient article

  • Electimuss London I discovered thanks to J Wearescentient and his Spice D’Arno review , i had no other option but to buy it on the first day i received my sample , thank you guys . Based on what I read about Caspian Cherry I’m intrigued once again.
J’s review really paints a picture of this intricate fragrance . What really grabbed me in his review was Caspian Cherry extensive journey.
The way it starts with a blend of dark maraschino cherries, goes through chocolate and nutty almonds feel with a bit of coffee, and finishes with rich woody and sensual muskiness , I’m keen on that.
I also love the Roman Empire society inspiration behind Spice D’Arno. Kevin Mathys was able to achieve the perfect balance between sweet, woody and spicy on one part, and comfort and originality on another. Depending on J experience with the fragrance I’m convinced Caspian Cherry is a very special cherry gourmand with lots of depth, and unique character
Born and bred in Upstate New York , currently based in EU
    Thanks for the draw

  • This is the kind of gourmand we need more of! What a treat. J’s review is excellent and vivid, and the description of a somewhat tropical rich but airy cherry almond chocolate spice situation just sounds unreal. Summanus has been my favorite Electimuss fragrance so far, but that might change! Can’t wait to smell this one.

    Hello from NYC!

I just adore the visuals drawn here in this review for a lovely gourmand. I want to eat this fragrance. As a fan of gourmand perfumes, this one has my name on it. I can get behind the inclusion of coconut in this scent, it seems to be adding just a touch of sweetness and not too heavy. I don’t have a favorite from Electimus just yet, I’m new to discovering this house. I live in Oregon.

  • Just by reading the article I visualized the exact same moment when J Wearescentient sprayed Electimuss Caspian Cherry on skin for the first time , I can almost see the delightfulness in his eyes .
There are other niche brands with luxurious boxes and bottles, what differentiate Electimuss is the fact that they actually deliver upscale refined fragrances like no other .
Personally I’ve never smelled vanilla fragrance with amaretto liqueur accord, white and black chocolate like , nutty and spicy with beautiful sandalwood , kudos for the idea.
I like all kinds of gourmands , but especially the more discreet and not overly aggressive that smell like a delicious dessert made by renowned pastry chef , I’m so excited about Caspian Cherry
I also like how J included extra information about Roman society , and how well the fragrance is made that all different aspects flow into each other like the Caspian Sea.
Caspian Cherry is so succulent in a grown up manner
I’m a fan of Electimuss Trajan EU

  • Ooh! This fragrances sounds divine! I’ve never heard of this perfume house before. I perused their website and they have a lovely selection of perfumes.

The notes in this are some of my favorites, but especially cherry, chocolate and amaretto liquor! I was absolutely intrigued by the quote “Soft powdery woods give a luxurious comfort that makes it wear like warm crushed velvet that’s lightly moving over your skin.”.

    What a captivating review!

  • I had the pleasure of smelling a few Electimuss London fragrances and I’m so impressed by every single one of them.
Caspian Cherry is sophisticated with a few interesting ideas and twists. The delicious mix of two different types of chocolate chocolate , spices and sandalwood, together with the subtitle honeyed blend is so posh , not to mention the amaretto accord , i need to try Caspian Cherry as soon as possible. I like learning from J about the how not just the new fragrance, but the whole new Explorer Collection is inspired by ancient Rome.
What I also appreciate about Electimuss London is that they always use top notch ingredients, presentation is always great and most importantly they don’t follow trends .
From the few Electimuss London fragrances I’ve smelled Amber Aquilaria is my favorite, as a liquor connoisseur I have to say the cognac in AA smell smells ultra realistic

J work with Caspian Cherry is like invading the senses poetic invitation. It’s always nice when I watch or read a fragrance review that’s not focused solely on how the fragrance smells, or the compliment factor.
Kevin Mathys and J Wearescentient share affection for art , craftsmanship and believe doesn’t matter the genre a fragrance need to not only smell great, but to be different and not influenced by other successful brands.
Caspian Cherry is piece of art elegant fragrance inspired by the Roman Empire , dark , ripe and delicious, still not overly sweet.
I can’t stop thinking about the maraschino cherries and their luscious syrup, white and black chocolate ,the textured woodiness and most importantly the feeling of a whole new sensation. • My takeaway about Electimuss London and J Wearescentient work with a quote from the article

“The clever incorporation of darker, bittersweet notes ensures that Caspian Cherry remains indulgent and decadent, striking the perfect balance without tipping into excessive sweetness.”

Unquestionably dedication is a must for the 21st century dire competition, and expectations are beyond high for everyone , in particular for high end niche brands like Electimuss London.
Kevin Mathys actually feels the need to create and design the best fragrances possible, he has quality ingredients in his disposal , everything else needs to be perfect too accepting nothing nearly right or good enough to become a new Electimuss London fragrance.
Judging by the ancient Roman society introduction , J Wearescentient honest opinion, and how ecstatic he is describing Caspian Cherry, all makes me feel sophisticated cherries-chocolate , boozy-woody gourmand fragrance with coconut appeal is already on the market.
The marvelous looking bottle of course is something to be expected from the brand, the gold and orange colorway is so pretty. Cupid’s Kiss is my favorite Electimuss London fragrance. Thank you

Thick maraschino cherries, chocolate, coffee with honey coffee with honey has me thinking that smelling this will get me in the mood every time a get a sniff … I believe so. Then on top of that hints of amaretto and coconut ?

  • I enjoyed J Wearescentient article very , and I mean VERY much . Felt like i had a revitalizing shot of “moreish cakiness quality” 🙂
Coming from a Classically trained in Paris Pastry Chef who had the honor of meeting, training for years, and working under the great Pierre Hermé, top 3 Pastry Chefs and Chocolatiers in the world i’m not sure i was able to grasp the whole picture. If my understanding is correct J believes that amaretto, coffee and sandalwood notes are giving Caspian Cherry some unique mouthwatering , yet not syrupy sweet features and I’m loving it.
J’s take on Caspian Cherry made me think of being back in Paris, eating Old Fashioned Chocolate Maraschino Cake , having a ristretto and in general enjoying my time.

I’ve been to Paris and London best patisserie shops , and i’m definitely interested into refined maraschino cherries fragrances , hand made chocolate and sandalwood fragrances mixed with a couple of different nuances , from sweet to spicy , and even woody . Caspian Cherry feels classy and also modern , romantic and passionate, or maybe it’s something in between?
I find the fragrance tempting for the, in no particular order a) sensual components b) elegance c) original , inspired by Roman society narrative d) new black cherries adventure e) J Wearescentient multidimensional review f) Kevin Mathys inventiveness g) how jubilant Caspian Cherry is
    It’s been a pleasure

  • I would love to win this perfume because I love chocolate cherries. I tried vici leather by Julien rasquinet but hated it so I hope this one is better…I like when J.Wearescent says: “Electimuss Caspian Cherry opens with an irresistibly rich blend of dark maraschino cherries and their luscious syrup, creating a delicious allure that’s hard to resist.” because that’s what I want a perfume that’s hard to resist. I live in France, EU.

  • Another giveaway, another pleasing experience, again and again another Wow
J Wearescentient read is so delicious, vivid and full of positive energy . The mental getaway to the best patisserie in Paris , creamy powdery muskiness, chocolate , maraschino cherries and a gentle sandalwood accord , what a journey i had with the help of J Wearescentient.
I bet Caspian Cherry would surprise me greatly , soulful fragrance i believe , I’m hooked
Not yet familiar with Electimuss London fragrances
Thank you for the whole experience

  • Considering how knowledgeable J is , I’m surprised by his enthusiasm for Caspian Cherry , I think he was as thrilled as he ever been when he smelled it for the 1st time.
There are so many good cherry and chocolate fragrances on the market right now, but creating not just good but also unique gourmand fragrance featuring the two is something major
I’d like to share my favorite part of the thoughtful review

“Sandalwood’s powderiness merges with the vetiver making Caspian Cherry feel airy yet cozy. In the air around you there’s a creamy subtle sweetness that’s like gentle shavings of white creamy chocolate over the coffees darkness.”

Love, love and love again. It’s remarkable that Kevin Mathys is thinking outside of the box , and found the balance between wearability and originality.
Like everything in real life some components of Caspian Cherry are gentle like the coconut and sandalwood , some delicious like the black cherries, chocolate , others cozy like the amaretto liqueur , and others like the honey you don’t know what to expect from. The balance between the sweetness , sandalwood and the naughty wink I’m looking for the most.
    From EU. Many thanks

  • All fragrances can tell a story, some are passionate, some are sad and other do have a happy ending . I think in Caspian there’s not sad parts , and everything is leading to good and delicious memories , smiles and a tad seductive wink coming from the honey. J Wearescentient even said that himself how the fragrance makes him feel seductive in an unconscious way.
I have a feeling there’s a synergy between J and Electimuss London , the brand and him are sharing the same dreams , vision and strive for originality .
I have a keen interest in Caspian Cherry because of J cosmopolitan personality , and how delicious the scent is . I find the blend both mouthwatering and sexy. The creamy sandalwood is welcomed too
I do have a favorite Electimuss London fragrance – Persephone’s Patchouli
    Thank you kindly EU

I can say, with confidence that Electimuss London is a brand every fragrance lover needs to know, exquisite and alluring creations made from the best of the best ingredients ( LMR ) , long lasting on top of that.I no longer live in Paris , but Jovoy is the place where I was recommended to try Amber Aquilaria, i had no choice but to buy a bottle right away.
I like J Wearescentient detailed explanations about the balance between the different gourmand elements , and the more darker and savory ones.
It’s excellent to know there are such fragrances produced, with spicy richness , amaretto , maraschino cherries , soft musky chocolate woody haze that flows all day , Caspian Cherry checks all the boxes

    Hello Cafleurebon
I really like how J Wearescentient is moving all the pieces with ease on the chessboard , I learned a lot today. In the Electimuss London Caspian Cherry perfumer Kevin Mathys is the most powerful piece in the chess game , moving any numbers of squares horizontally, vertically and diagonally.
The Art and Olfaction Awards he won for Kajal IV shows was not really bothered by what other perfumers are doing, and now is igniting the interest of fragrance enthusiasts worldwide by his own style and methods , adding maraschino cherries and amaretto to the traditional chocolate game. The other important pieces on the board to me are the sandalwood, coconut and tonka bean.
Kevin Mathys made Caspian Cherry so addictive , absolutely I’d like to win a bottle
    Amber Aquilaria is captivating
I’m based in EU , thanks

  • Love the idea of adding maraschino cherries , sandalwood and a bit funky honey nuances to white and black chocolate, Caspian Cherry was crafted from a passionate belief in creativity and originality.
Thanks to J Wearescentient I’m aware now that the fragrance is based on collaboration between perfumer Kevin Mathys and Electimuss London using LMR oils , high oil concentration, sophisticated and not just a linear gourmand.
J Wearescentient was able to capture my interest with the lingering resonance of LMR ingredients, amaretto , coffee and some cozy sandalwood , not to mention the very unique contrast between the edible and the dark and mysterious aspects , I’m even more interested now.
Thank you Kevin Mathys, Electimuss London, J , and also thank you for the generosity

I had an opportunity to test it while visiting Germany. Electimuss Caspian Cherry is a fragrance that beautifully intertwines the essence of cherry with a rich and exotic backdrop. From the moment you spray it, you’re greeted with a vibrant burst of juicy cherries that instantly captivates the senses. This initial sweetness is perfectly balanced by a blend of floral and woody notes, creating a sophisticated and alluring aroma.

As the scent evolves, hints of amber and spices emerge, adding depth and warmth. The longevity of the fragrance is impressive, lingering on the skin and clothing well into the day. It’s a versatile scent, suitable for both day and evening wear, making it a fantastic addition to any perfume collection.

I definitely want to add it to my collection.

  • Cherry seems to be having a moment as a fragrance note and Kevin Mathys is making the most of it with Caspian Cherry. This has so many of my favorite gourmand notes ( chocolate, honey, coffee) and the addition of the boozy amaretto liqueur send it into festive territory. The sandalwood and patchouli base grounds the composition into a cozy, warm hug. I’ve not tried any fragrances from Electimuss yet. MD, USA.

I enjoy greatly J Wearescentient positivity, dedication , tenderness for art in perfumery , and the approach towards all Cafleurebon articles. I wish I was there with him when he sprayed Electimuss London Caspian Cherry on skin for the first time , just to see his facial expression
Everything in the new fragrance from the Explorer Collection is on its own place, the black cherries, marzipan, the gentle rooty haze , chocolate and of course the sandalwood. J said Caspian Cherry smell like a fantasy of a past experience, memories of spiced cherry fruit cake , really yummy .
I’m ready for exquisite pastry degustation , I’m ready for the Kevin Mathys creation called Caspian Cherry
Cupid’s Kiss bottle is in my possession and i also really like Aquila Absolute
    Thanks a million

There’s a saying that life is just a bowl of cherries dipped in chocolate of course
I have a feeling during the process of creating Caspian Cherry Kevin Mathys had multiple of such flavorful brainstorming moments.
My takeaway about Caspian Cherry from J Wearescentient article is the overall sense of culinary heritage , and delicious spiced cherry fruit cake baked by Kevin Mathys. It appeals to me that he infused into Caspian Cherry his own love for dark ripe cherries, chocolate, amaretto liqueur and respect for the Caspian region.
As a result of Kevin Mathys work I’d like to know how the luxury not overly sweet dessert called Caspian Cherry smells. In light of J Wearescentient review I have no doubt Caspian Cherry is stunning.
    Many thanks , EU

J’s review has me salivating over this latest fragrance. Amaretto, black cherry, dark and white chocolate, honey, coconut and coffee. Oh my goodness!!! I must try this one.

Electimuss London Caspian Cherry is a marvelous fragrance, i was so not expecting such level of complexity, mouthwatering gourmand opulence mixed with pleasure-seeking seduction.
I’ve always been into splendid gourmands, the dark maraschino cherries luscious syrup, gentle shavings of white chocolate and creamy black coffee description by J Wearescentient is now stuck in my mind. I understood the assignment and I’ll do my best finding a sample , especially if there’s a little naughty wink attached.
It comes to no surprise now why Kevin Mathys was awarded the Art and Olfaction Awards for Kajal IV , great things are in store for him. From UK
    Many thanks

  • Captivating introduction about the new Electimuss London Explorer Collection and the Roman society from the past, and enthusiastic take on Caspian Cherry, job well done J Wearescentient.
I’m exposed to niche perfumery but not yet to Electimuss London , and i can’t help but to be impressed how the owners of the brand gave Kevin Mathys a platform to create a very special black cherry fragrance with different hints of darkness.
Other than the black cherries and chocolate I also find Caspian Cherry delightful for the honey on one part , and the coconut and sandalwood on the other. Various ingredients i like , assorted the best way possible by Kevin Mathys.
Other than wanting to win Caspian Cherry I’d also love to visit most of the best Parisian patisseries, and try the beautifully balanced cakes

  • The captivating blend of two distinct types of chocolate, the richness of coffee, subtle hints of vetiver, and a touch of raw honey make Electimuss London Caspian Cherry an irresistible fragrance. It promises a mesmerizing, intoxicating aura crafted by the genius of Kevin Mathys.

I admire creativity, originality, and the use of exceptional raw materials, all of which Electimuss London embodies. Their bottles are undeniably masterpieces, blending artistry with functionality.

Among their collection, Cupid’s Kiss might just edge out as the best, but the competition is fierce.

  • J’s mouthwatering review has left me craving cherries! This blend sounds fantastic, opening with a hint of marzipan oh my oh my how delicious!
I’m from UK, my favourite Electimuss fragrance is Vanilla Edesia

  • Electimuss London development is absolutely remarkable and their future is bright , no questions asked. In my opinion they do everything right, top presentations, sophisticated fragrances made with top quality mostly LRM ingredients, and working with renowned perfumers like Christian Provenzano, Julien Rasquinet , Cécile Zarokian, Céline Barel and upcoming stars like Kevin Mathys . I know all fragrances by Electimuss London, including Caspian Cherry and if I have to rate my favorite ones:
    1. Amber Aquilaria i own
    2. Caspian Cherry/ Persephone’s Patchouli
    3. Spice D’Arno / Vanilla Edesia / Cupid’s Kiss
My opinion of the fragrance is very similar, but also a bit different from what J is getting. Like all Electimuss London fragrances Caspian Cherry is sophisticated , complex and going through a lot of phases.
To me the opening is straight maraschino cherries coated in chocolate and amaretto. Not an expert on alcoholic beverages since I’m a strict teetotaller, but my girlfriend loves and eats them on a daily basis I know the smell 🙂 Since J mentioned the fragrance, in comparison to Spice D’Arno , Caspian Cherry instantly feels like a true gourmand and indeed smells like a cake , both are beautiful in their own right.
Where me and J slightly differ from each other is the char , naughty and airy aspects he believes Caspian Cherry has. I don’t get any charred or particularly naughty nuances. Personally I wouldn’t call Caspian Cherry airy, it’s thick and density is noticeable from the first spray until the drydown.
I’d say a classy gourmand, like J said intoxicating and utterly delicious to wear
