J’s image of Badar Parfums Sinaï
Sinaï is the latest perfume from Badar Parfums, created in collaboration with Flair Paris, this time in the hands and nose of the skilled Amelie Bourgeois. Sinaï beautifully blends Eastern and Western perfumery traditions, offering a rich and modern experience. Imagine an oud rose carved from amber and vanilla that shimmers with sensual spices. It’s a perfume I’ve been enjoying wearing as I’ve been getting to know it.

As Badar Parfums Sinaï hits your skin it blooms into a soft silky smoke that slowly unravels like a precious rose. Elemi introduces a refreshing, lightly woody citrus note, while pink pepper adds a subtle sparkle, reminiscent of light dancing through a gemstone, a diamond nestled in the gentle dust of spices. This enchanting combination serves as a lovely prelude to the rose, which has been gradually unfurling beneath this soft, silky veil. The rose itself is luscious, with a jam-like richness that complements its sumptuous texture, with elemi’s citrus notes enhancing its depth, while saffron infuses the petals with a luxurious, sensual sensation. Imagine silk adorned with a fine metallic silver trim, casting a gentle shimmer, as Sinaï envelops you in a soft, steamy saffron embrace, allowing musks and vanilla to emerge and highlight this opulent rose. The addition of benzoin enriches the petals, giving a creamy sweetness and rich balsamic and floral essences. This warmth softens the pink pepper’s spice, creating a cosy connection back to the saffron.

Perfumer Amelie Bourgeois has crafted an elegant perfume in Sinaï, where the individual components seamlessly intertwine, enhancing specific notes and creating a distinctive rose oud experience. The inclusion of saffron and vanilla softens the traditional elements, resulting in a beautifully contemporary perfume. The subtle hint of immortelle skillfully elevates the spices into a more sensual realm, while its nuanced dark, charred sweetness adds depth to the benzoin and vanilla, enriching their texture. This also hints at the oud, makes me think of Thai ouds, subtly enriching Sinaï with its gentle, tangy fruitiness that thickens the luscious vanilla and deepens the rose, making it feel opulent and full-bodied as the vanilla makes its oh so smooth and seductive.
Badar Parfums Sinaï is enriched by a thick yet soft incense smoke that adds a luxurious depth to its character. I can smell this projection off a strip I sprayed this morning about 2 meters away. Sinaï feels full-bodied and sweetly vanilla, yet perfectly balanced to avoid being overwhelming and cloying, rather it’s giving that simply irresistible feel. The darker undertones of oud and immortelle provide a grounding effect, while the saffron rose introduces an elegant touch that contrasts beautifully with the playful sweetness. The incense and resins give an air of intrigue, reminiscent of catching a glimpse of a lush rose from afar. You can almost see its silky, saffron-hued petals, and just as its delightful scent reaches you, a gentle wisp of smoke obscures its features, driving you to want explore further as this delicious perfume flirts with you.
Badar Parfums Sinaï by J
There’s a clever reference to Estelle, the first perfume from Badar Parfums, as both share a delightful smoky benzoin vanilla note. However, while Estelle feels more like the playfulness and brightness day, while Badar Parfums Sinaï leans into the allure of night with its enchanting blend of rose, oud, vanilla and saffron. The gentle warmth of spices, combined with the light amber and rich balsamic vanilla, transforms Sinaï into a captivating creamy smooth rose oud that feels like a dream. Imagine being enveloped in a silky embrace, with soft creamy petals tenderly brushing against your skin, complemented by just the right amount of smoke and musk to create an air of mystery. Sinaï is another gem from Badar Parfums and Flair Paris perfumers; Sinaï is more than just a perfume; it is an invitation to experience a journey through the senses, a celebration of the beauty found in cultural fusion. I’m very exited to see what the future holds.
