When you want to feel inspired and motivated to pursue your wildest dreams. Wear it, Be Earnest!” from the brand

How many of us have all heard the term it’s all in a name?  Well, in the case of Be Earnest, we are given a reason and some motivation to be precisely that. To be earnest means to be willing to live your life with energy and to do it seriously, fiercely, with both intention and effort. It aligns with the teachings of Confucius, who believed that practicing five things under all circumstances constitutes perfect virtue: gravity, generosity of soul, sincerity, earnestness, and kindness. Embracing each day with passion and purpose sets us up for success. By approaching life with a positive attitude and a zest for living, we can experience greater joy. If we are energized and enthusiastic, we are more likely to pursue our dreams, overcome challenges, and make the most of every opportunity that comes our way.

The special blend of top notes is a refreshing and tangy opening that will pique your interest. It provides a vibrant and refreshing scent that can help you feel more energized and motivated, ready to tackle the day with vigor. This unique blend is what sets Be Earnest apart and makes it a must-have for anyone seeking a fragrance that stands out.

Be Earnest is not just a fragrance; it’s a poignant ode to living with intention, grace, and purpose. Its blend of top notes, led by rhubarb and apple, resonates with a refreshingly invigorating quality. The initial spark is a sour and aromatic fruitiness that energizes the senses. The tang of rhubarb blends harmoniously with the crispness of the apple, providing the perfect invigorating elixir to energize and motivate you to tackle the day with vigor. And the best part? The fragrance is not just invigorating; it’s long-lasting, ensuring you stay inspired and motivated throughout the day and giving you the confidence to take on any challenge, knowing that your scent will last.

As the perfume continues to unfold, it journeys into a distinguished, sophisticated elegance with the union of fir, cedarwood, and musk that transcends mere scents to evoke a sense of timeless elegance and refinement. The flawless equilibrium of sweetness and dryness creates a harmonious composition of notes, complemented by soft, powdery undertones that radiate confidence and sophistication. This transformative development evokes a refinement that resonates with a heartfelt sense of confidence and inner strength. With each inhalation, the scent can induce you with poise and grace that transcends the physical realm. It becomes more than just a perfume; it becomes a part of your essence, a statement of who you are, a confident, refined individual ready to take on the world with grace and charm. • Too true about living with earnestness. Fortunately I find myself practicing gravity all times of the day and night. According to my bathroom scale, about 160 lbs of it. LOL And humour brings a bit of positivity too. Sounds like my kind of fragrance. I do wonder what kind of floral accords lie at the heart though. White floral? Indolic floral? Likely a rosey blend since many fruity accords use rose as a backbone. Very much a fan of the rhubarb accord in fragrances though, especially in late summer and early fall. It’s an underrated dry and tangy addition to woody florals that really make them stand apart. Intrigued about the powdery undertones that Sandi describes too. Sounds like a wonderful daily wear. If only it came in a 100 mL!! Hear hear on staying true to yourself. Appreciate the evocative review. From Canada.

I like the aspect that makes the fragrance make you feel more energized and motivated. Sounds like a great work scent to start off my day. I would love to win a bottle, especially since I love the note of rhubarb. I live in Maryland USA.

I was originally concerned with the new trend of fragrances being alcohol-free and its longevity but I’m glad Sandi tackled this right away. It’s all natural ingredients but this is very long lasting. Rosy & Earnest have truly accomplished an amazing feat with being EWG certified and having their fragrances still be of the utmost quality. A simple note breakdown but from previous experience wearing rhubarb, this is a very long lasting kite. You add the musk and you get a beautiful floral fragrance. I’m in the USA.

  • The comforting embrace and being true to yourself speaks to me. Related to fragrance I have learned to trust my nose, but I still love to hear what other people think. I love that it’s an invigorating crisp opening with the apple/rhubarb and not a compote. Not familiar with Confucius, but love those 5 pillars. Great article as always. USA, WA state.

  • I’m working on getting a home business started and focus of purpose and clarity of vision would really help! The review makes this sound like a game changing purpose driver! I love that idea in a pleasant and refreshing fragrance! I live in the US.

I love the idea of living with intention, grace, and purpose. Because of that, I wake up “in earnest” and start off each day hoping to be better and do better. The perfume sounds transformative and beautiful. I am in the USA.

  • I really like the sound of the rhubarb and apple combo in this one. Rhubarb is such a unique note and I imagine it’s zippy tartness plays well with the juiciness of apple. I’ve never tried anything from this house, so am also curious just to see what they are about. Best of luck to everyone. I live in NC, USA.

Be Earnest has that uplifting quality which I seek out. Sometimes I dream of being Steadfast and Earnest through and through, a drive for progress, not perfection. This fragrance sounds delightful and I’d love to wear her everyday. I live in Oregon.

Be Earnest sounds like an amazing fall scent! I love the description of the energizing opening of Apple and rhubarb. Who doesn’t want to feel energized with perfume?! Then the woody base adds complexity to the fragrance. Great review! Sounds like a beautiful fall fragrance! -New York, NY

  • David Furman says:

Rhubarb is a note that I am not familiar with but apple of course. I picture this being a sweet and woody composition. This thing probably has some legs with the cedarwood in the base along with the fir balsam. With a unique note breakdown and it being an uplifting fragrance I’m not quite sure what to think. From Jacksonville, NC.

I love the intentionality behind this fragrance! I’ve always been so intrigued by the concept of utilizing fragrance to generate (and sustain) a state of being through the day and so I absolutely love the motivation behind this fragrance. Plus the apple and rhubarb combo sounds absolutely divine! From Texas

    Wonderful review from Sandy.
The rhubarb and apple pop at the top sounds intriguing to me. This is mainly down to my girlfriend loving apple scents, and as she’s been a bit down in the dumps as of late, a scent like this might be one tiny way to begin stepping in a happier direction. Energetic yet comforting is precisely the type of fragrance that both my girlfriend and I enjoy the most, making Be Earnest an interesting scent. The both of us are quite fascinated to see (or rather, sniff) just how harmonious this scent is.
    Best wishes from Ontario, Canada.

  • In reading this article I almost feel as if someone reached inside my head and viewed my innermost person… For better or worse, I do everything with 110% effort and gusto, and constantly strive for compassion, kindness and excellence. It can be exhausting, and yet I cannot settle for less, and sometimes the rewards are so precious I would never trade it. Is there really a perfume to reflect this??? Clarity, steadfastness, and authenticity are put forth… If this could really invigorate and affirm the thoughtful work and intention in my life, I would be thrilled! Actually the notes sound divine. I would love to try it! Thank you for this generous draw. I live in NH USA.

  • I really enjoy rhubarb as a fragrance note. It adds an energizing and invigorating dimension to most compositions. The floral bouquet on top of some very interesting forest wood blends makes for a positive and harmonious blend that is as uplifting as time spent in the outdoors. MD, USA.

I love the inspiration of earnestness and considering the brand won the Global Conscious Brand Award it seems they practice earnestness. I love the idea of wearing a fragrance to remind oneself to live with intention. And the notes sound refreshing and grounding at the same time. I absolutely love rhubarb in fragrance so I’m really interested in this one and this brand as a whole. Thank you for the draw. From the US.

  • I love a bright rhubarb fragrance, invigorating and attention-grabbing with that unique tangy profile. And I appreciate that Feisthauer approached the combination of apple and rhubarb not as a gourmand, but rather as segue into a floral, with the woody combination of fir and cedar moving further away from pie baking in the oven. Be Earnest sounds both unique and restrained.

    I’m in the USA.

  • I enjoyed reading about the sentiment behind the fragrance. Rhubarb and apple seem like apt partners to enhance the mood of the fragrance. Seems like a lovely every day wear. Thanks for the Draw! I live in the US.

  • foreverscents says:

Be Earnest sounds like the perfect fragrance to wear when the day starts with fear and trepidation. The rhubarb and apple notes sound so tangy and invigorating. I also love that there are dry fir and cedar wood notes. I hope I can live every day with intention and grace. It’s a tall order, but I need to try.
    I live in the USA.

Thanks for the earnest review about Rosy & Earnests Be Earnest.

I really enjoyed reading about the opening of this fragrance. THe use of Rhubarb and apple, really make this fragrance pop with all that is good in summer. White florals for the middle and this harmonious and peaceful blend of fir, cedarwood and cozy musks, really make this a Natalie Feisthauer signature scent.

THe branding of this scent is definitely interesting.

Would love to get a nose on this.

    Cheers from WI, USA
