To introduce Steven’s video review of Masque Milano Russian Tea Oud, I asked our Editor  and colleague Ermano Picco, who has close ties with Masque Milano and the Masque Fragranze brands to share his insights and knowledge of Russian Tea Oud and he kindly obliged-Michelyn

In 2014 when Masque Milano Russian Tea was launched, Julien Rasquinet was a rising star whose first steps were paved by dazzling creations as a young independent perfumer taught by legendary master Pierre Bourdon. Tea was already a classic theme in perfumery, but back then blending smoked tea with jammy raspberry uplifted by the chill of mint leaves into an almost smoked rosy perfume was pretty genius.

After almost a decade, in 2023, Julien Rasquinet signed Masque Milano Russian Tea Oud a much-awaited sequel. The breathtaking beauty of Cambodian Oud LMR chosen by Julien, here replaces the herbal quality of tea unfolding an opulent tapestry of nuances starting from the peppery animalcy boosting the luminous greenery of mint. Its creamy sweetness goes along with raspberry-like jam and butter for a mouthwatering voluptuousness hiding underneath a final coup de theatre- a nod to Russian leather.     I’ve had the privilege of trying both the original Russian Tea and Russian Tea Oud and they are marvelous fragrances. Russian Tea Oud goes in a more dark direction and not for the summer at all like Steven said. It is a bit spicy as well like he said but the tea quality is still there with some added darkness. Julien Rasquinet does an amazing job at mixing fruits with Oud and this is no exception. Ermano’s mustache should be hanged in the Louvre, it’s next to perfect.     I haven’t tried the original Russian Tea but the addition of oud really appeals to me because I love dark, dense fragrances. Steven called it “mysterious” and “charismatic” which is my style….

    This is very interesting. I am not familiar with this brand but very interested in trying it. I enjoy scents like Spicebomb so this seems to be a good fit for me.

    Frederic Malle “the moon” is one of my favorites from that brand. Ermano and Steven had slightly different opinions but masque milano Russian tea oud sound great. I have Russian Tea from 2014. I also have Tango. Off to see what the oud version would be like.

    Saffron note from Steve’s review sounds interesting. I have never tried any fragrance with that note. Also, the peppery, and animalcy vibe from Ermano’s introduction what’s interest me the most. I also want to try the rasberry- jam like with a leather accord that he mentioned. Im from California USA

    Thank you Ermano for reminding me how good the original Russian Tea is! I haven’t smelled it for a while but I remember loving it. I also appreciate the comparison of the new oud version with the old one. I think it completes my thoughts and helps me imagine how it smells. after I initially listened to Steven’s thoughts I liked how he said this is well blended smoky and not sweet. Sounds very elegant and I cannot wait to sample it! Cheers from Illinois US.

    Russian Tea is my favorite fragrance from Masque Milano and I have been biting my lip with anticipation since I first heard of these version being released. I agree with Ermano’s sentiment that combining a classic tea note with raspberry and mint was a stroke of genius (not to mention the suede leather components that also come up in the dry down). As the kids todays would say, it’s “chef’s kiss”. I imagine the addition of a smoky and resinous oud would add a great deal of seductive mystery to this composition, as it would play well with the lighter fruity tones while enriching the darker ones. Steven heralded the fragrance’s saffron and spice, which has me intrigued. I love cardamom and tea together so this sounds like it would be right up my alley. Best of luck to all. I live in NC, USA.

    Over the past few months I’ve been obsessing over Masque Milano, starting with Russian Tea and (Homage) to Hemingway and most recently White Whale and Sleight of Fern. Steven’s description of this as darker than the original Russian Tea sounds interesting. That, and the idea that this is a jammier fragrance.

    Ermano’s introduction presented Russian Tea Oud as a very voluptuous, glossy, rich fruity oud with a leather finish, while Steven drew a very precise portrait of this fragrance as an expressive, mysterious woody, spicy tea, with fascinating notes of frankincense, while still keeping a tranquil facet.

    I have had a chance to smell both and I must say I enjoyed them so much. Like Steven said it is charasmatic while still being mysterious and expressive with that agarwood and that raspberry and that incense. Definitely a unique fragrance. Especially when you think about the mint green that comes up that Ermano mentions.

    A tea oud, interesting. Steven mentions that this fragrance opens up spicey, not what I expected from a tea fragrance. In general I gravitate towards darker fragrances so the fact that Steven says that this is a dark & mysterious fragrance really drew me in.

    To me its a very woody oud based scent, very clean and something I’d wear to work everyday barring the hot weather. Like steven pointed out, one always associates tea with lighter frags but it would be interesting to see how Rasquinet has blended heavier notes with tea here. EU

    Wow, an excellent composition, just the way I like it. Not the “usual” sweet perfume, a perfume with a lot of personality, first level ingredients, spices incense, oud and tea, a “dark” tea. It must be great on cold days, I imagine it’s like wearing a gorgeous alpaca blanket, which I’ve never had, distinction and comfort. The price is really important, as with all unattainable things, thanks to Cafleurebon for this splendid scented discovery, let’s say for a few…..

    Rasquinet has done a really good job with russian tea. I owned a bottle of it previously and always loved it. Steven calls it a darker olfactive expression which I also agree to. Going by the notes profile on this, really loving it. In Germany, EU

    It feels like a cozy, dark, smoky yet somewhat transparent frag due to tea accord. Definitely something interesting unlike any other I have tried before. Rasquinet has always delivered some amazing creations, high hopes with this one.

    Since Jean-Claude Ellena launched in the market the tea note with Eau Parfumee au The Vert by Bvlgari in 1992, It has become a classical theme in perfumery, as Ermano points out.

    Reinterpret those classical themes is the key point that really values artistic Perfumery. Adding a smoky note to resemble the smoke coming at night from the fire light up by caravans transporting the precious tea leaves, is a game changing twist that elevates Russian Tea to a truly historical tribute. I think Ermano did a marvelous job as evaluator for Rasquinet, perfectly ennobling the gentle nature of tea note while keeping the characterizing note of birch as a distant omen that shows up as an evanescent memory. The light in the darkness, a true blending masterpiece that found its natural evolution in the Oud version.

    A concept that Steven was able to convey very well. As he said, “Mysterious” and “Expressive” perfectly suit this perfume as a taylor-made dress, especially for the Oud version. LMR is always a benchmark of excellence.

    Masque Milano is one of my favorite fragrance brands , tea and oud are of my favorite notes , I own original Russian Tea and daring approaches , so Russian Tea Oud checks all the boxes perfectly.
    The luxurious Cambodian LMR Oud chosen by Julien Rasquinet, the node to the Russian leather, fatty richness of the spices in the drydown are the most attractive parts of the fragrance, together with all other premium quality ingredients and the gorgeous Crimson Red Rubies kind of bottle.

    L’attesa is fantastic iris fragrance I love wearing , and if such connoisseurs like Ermano Picco and Redolessence are so found of Russian Tea Oud I’m convinced the fragrance is really good.
    I’d like to win due to the natural smell that’s always a plus , i like the mint and the raspberry jam Ermano told us about , the stunning leather , the presence of of darkness and overall opulence from Redolessence, and I keep thinking about what Ermano Picco said at the end “In a creative string of scented pearls with Russian Tea Oud the most precious one”

    Ever since he left us I keep thinking about Alessandro Brun , i hope he’s in a better place right now. Undoubtedly he’s legacy lives on, he’s approach to the industry, other than the fragrances, his positivity and charisma shall not be forgotten whatsoever !
    I’m familiar with all Masque Milano fragrances excluding the latest editions shown to the public at Esxence 2024. If I have to rate my favorite ones, hard task but still:
    1. Russian Tea Oud/Russian Tea
    2. Love Kills Oud
    3. L’Atessa
    I believe both Russian Tea and Russian Tea Oud are very complex fragrances, and definitely not for the faint of heart. In my opinion you have to have years of experience with bolder side of niche perfumery to be able to fully understand and appreciate both fragrances. On top of all both are changelings, and do smell VERY different on different people which is shown in Ermano and Steven co-review.
    This time I’m almost on the same page with Ermano, unlike Steven we both get the green aromatic mint facets and the biggest transition me and Ermano get and Steven doesn’t is the beautiful raspberry jam sweetness in the base. Nothing gourmand-ish of course still the raspberry jam is well pronounced and detectable on my skin from the sample that I got.
    Both Russian Tea and Russian Tea Oud are composed by Julien Rasquinet, both i consider masterpieces ,both i love . The significant differences in Ermano and Steven opinions is a prime example why people show sample both first.

    Masque Milano Russian Tea Oud is powerful and novelty leather ,tea and oud fragrance, with dark sweetness layers at least according to Ermano Picco.
    I like how the blend rather daring fragrance , but nothing says “too much” , I’m intrigued by the idea of very dark black tea with mint , smelling real Cambodian LMR Oud , and potentially treating myself with a few scoops of raspberry jam.
    Everybody knows Julien Rasquinet , but i’m not familiar with Masque Milano, haven’t drunk such really dark black tea, or had the pleasure of smelling LRM Cambodian Oud , basically everything Ermano Picco and Redolessence said was new to me wrote is new to me.
    I now know Russian Tea Oud exudes confidence applying unique dark , sweet spicy and leathery twists I’ve never experienced before . Hopefully I’ll be lucky enough to win

    Ermano Picco and Redolessence divergent opinions on Russian Tea Oud from Masque Milano paints 2 unlike pictures of this intricate fragrance .
    One extensive journeys with more tea , minty and with descrete red berries sweetness, and another just as extensive with way more spices , darker and on mysterious side fragrance , I’m keen on both
    I wonder what kind of journey I’d have with Russian Tea Oud , so curious , all I know is that it’s a fragrance with lots of depth, and unique character

    Reading a bit of Ermano’s comments about Rasquinet’s prior work with tea notes was helpful context for understanding Masque Milano Russian Tea Oud. It sounds like this new fragrance works with a similar tea, raspberry, and mint palette, but leans much more darker, incorporating animalic oud and Russian leather. Steven’s video showed off that striking red bottle. In regards to the fragrance, he highlighted the strong saffron in the opening and restrained smokiness. He described the overall feel as tranquil, which is exactly what I like in a tea fragrance.

    It’s worth nothing that i not only discovered Masque Milano while watching Redolessence videos , but when I saw a few videos where he spoke highly of Russian Tea i first sampled the fragrance, and almost immediately bought a bottle.
    To my understanding Ruby and Emerald are more exquisite lines , and I’m deeply intrigued by Russian Tea Oud , no wonder Redolessence and Ermano Picco are so overwhelmed by the aroma , and the level of complexity.
    I wonder how the addition of natural LMR oud from Cambodia would change Russian Tea, unique experience if I have to guess. Since I love the raspberry jam aspects in the OG, I hope like Ermano Picco I’ll be able to detect them in Russian Tea Oud too

    Masque Milano Russian Tea Oud feels a fragrance following the events of The Great Gatsby movie. It is a afternoon tea date . If only a black tea lovers like Ermano Picco ans Redolessence were there in that scene, they would surely get a raspberries macaroon and sip black tea tea before leaving the place. For people who like to watch the romantic tragedy genre The Great Gatsby is great , you can also enjoy the tea party motif.
    The movie , Russian Tea Oud and Ermano Picco and Redolessence reviews altogether do stand as a reminder of how a tea party not only represents social interactions, hospitality and communications , it also symbolizes the coming together of people to share different ideas, emotions and stories in a relaxed and friendly manner.

    It’s safe to say Alessandro Brun will be deeply missed, no doubt, hopefully the brand will continue to deliver sophisticated and innovative fragrances in the future. Drinking tea is a hobby of mine, not an expert by any means, but I like it when I want to relax and clear my head.
    I like rich deep fragrances with a bit of subtle sweetness , and I’m also glad the LMR premium oud is not barnyard like , still bold but fruity too. Mint i also like , just like leather , spices and Julien Rasquinet, thanks to Ermano Picco and Steven i can’t wait to try Russian Tea Oud.
    No need to ask what’s my favorite Masque Milano fragrance is , I could be wrong but a lot of people will give the same answer like me – L’Attesa of course. I could be biased towards this beauty, but hey … it is what it is.

    I love this house – so many greats! And Rasquinet has made some stunning blends over the years! I have all the faith this is another keeper. Steven explaining the notes so thoroughly helps to know the nuances. Saffron makes sense. And I loved the history in the article about the Oud and the moon for Malle. I would treasure a bottle.     I’m curious about what kind experience it was for Julien Rasquinet to add Cambodian LMR Oud to Russian Tea , wildly considered one of the best tea fragrances ever made , and even tweak the composition afterwards.
    Otherwise Russian Tea Oud is a captivating black tea fragrance , with mint and slightly sweet , mostly leaning on the Russian leather and spices overall experience.
    The thickness , natural LRM ingredients , the daring perfumer too , i find to be Russian Tea Oud most appealing features , not to mention the dark aspect..
    I’m in possession of Tango , superb quality amber fragrance made by Cécile Zarokian, and I wonder if Tango Oud exists ?

    I’m all for uniqueness , upscale niche perfumery, daring approaches and aesthetics , I genuinely enjoyed both Ermano Picco and Redolessence reviews of Masque Milano Russian Tea Oud.
    I especially like how Ermano spoke Russian Tea Oud fruity woods connection , the beauty of Cambodian LMR Oud immersive experience he had with the fragrance. Everything in the fragrance i find rich, daring but also inviting at the same time.
    Julien Rasquinet is the author of multiple fragrances i love , including the original Russian Tea. What surprised me a little bit is that Redolessence believes there’s no sweetness at all in the new Oud version, but Ermano speaks of raspberry like jam . With or without the jam like sweetness Russian Tea Oud is definitely sophisticated and opulent.
    My favorite Masque Milano is called Russian Tea , i like Tango too

    It also sounds perfect – dark, eccentric and not sweet.
    I have to agree with Steven – the bottle is gorgeous, that fiery red hints at the special brew inside.

    I love to travel just as well as I love fragrances, and I hope one day I’ll be lucky enough to visit real deal Russian tea ceremony so I can compare the experience with both Julien Rasquinet Russian Tea fragrances, the OG and the Oud variant. I’m new to Masque Milano but Ermano Picco and Redolessence convinced me that I need to find a sample set.
    Just when you think you know all black tea fragrances , one of my favorite genres Julien Rasquinet comes along to show how wrong you are Russian Tea Oud is not just a high quality ingredients black tea fragrance in the vain of a fragrance that already exists, absolutely not! It’s even different from the OG.
    Julien Rasquinet have built unorthodox fragrance from ground zero , admirable approach. Even both contributors were caught off guard by Russian Tea Oud novelty smell.
    The spicy darkness , gentle fruity appeal together with the leather combination comes as a gentle reminder of how there are still brands like Masque Milano and perfumers like Julien Rasquinet who still posses imagination, and are not afraid to be adventurous

    I had the pleasure of meeting Alessandro Brun once, he will be missed, always dressed sharp, always with a smile on his face , but his legacy lives on with Masque Milano and Milano Fragranze .
    Russian Tea Oud is fragrance for a free spirited person , having the old-school flair inside of him , or her if the lady is interested in such fragrances.
    Saffron rich leather, minty greens , lots of spices and some sweetness in the base to balance the fragrance, Russian Tea Oud is right up my alley , special dressed sharp occasions fragrance.

    There are three equally as great Masque Milano fragrances L’Attesa, Russian Tea and Tango. I was not aware of the more luxury fragrances from the brand , and in particular Russian Tea Oud.
    Predicated on Redolessence and Ermano Picco fine tune reviews Russian Tea Oud may resemble Russian Tea a bit , but Julien Rasquinet decision to integrate LMR Cambodian Oud bran changes the tea game , giving the fragrance more woody and darker characteristics . Why there’s such a difference between the two contributors in terms of the raspberry jam I’m not sure, all I could say is that at least in Russian Tea the jam is easy to detect.
    The merging Russian Tea and fruity LMR oud is the most appealing side of the Oud version , I’m expecting the scented pearl , which like Ermano said came as a result of the merging.

    Masque Milano Russian Tea i believe is a classic, the Oud edition falls in the same category , similar yet different enough .
    Complex , rich and not overly daring fragrances with black tea, leather punch of sweetness I like a lot. The leaning on the fruits LMR oud is a bonus.
    I can see why Ermano Picco and Redolessence implied Russian Tea Oud exudes an air of sophistication and opulence , pointing out its level of complexity. Noble fragrance and unique olfactory experience I’m sure.
    Russian Tea is my favorite fragrance from Masque Milano

    I enjoyed both Steven’s review and Ermano’s introduction. In the former, I always appreciate how Steven shows the presentation of the fragrances he reviews by showing us the bottle and even the spraying mechanism. I actually do care about these details! In the latter, I loved reading the description of the notes and especially how the darker/heavier notes support the mint note (which sounds lovely to me!).

    I’m found of how Cafleurebon decided to combine two different reflections on Masque Milano Russian Tea Oud , one from Ermano Picco which is not as spicy , more green and with additional jammy raspberries , and another from Redolessence more spicy , smoky and whiteout any fruity accords. Two reviews of the same fragrance in a singular experience for the readers , nice idea.
    Ermano and Redolessence both have a soft spot for art and creativity , and Despite the fact that the two reviews do have differences i enjoyed both
    Russian Tea Oud is elegant black tea,leather and mint fragrance, on the flip side because of the oud and incense also possesses bolder personality. Special fragrance i’d cherish if I win
    For the record there’s one Masque Milano that i own , it’s called L’Atessa

    Ermano Picco makes Russian Tea Oud sound like it does exactly what a flanker should do: ground itself in the original DNA, but take it in another direction. And Steven makes this variation of the Russian Tea formula sound wonderful. I’m a huge fan of saffron in fragrances. And while I have a number of tea-based scents, they are all of the tranquil variety that Steven contrasts this perfume with. I’m in Oklahoma, USA.

    This is a mystery. When I read through everything including the note breakdown I’m just confused. Does this open up citric and sweet with the berries or dry and smoky with the tea.     It’s could very well be a bit of a hassle, but please do even more double reviews, often there are interesting differences between how the two contributors feel about certain fragrances , and in particular with Masque Milano Russian Tea Oud
    Steven –> no sweetness whatsoever
    Ermano -> Its creamy sweetness goes along with raspberry-like jam and butter
    Steven -> saffron and hint of smoke opening
    Ermano -> peppery and luminous greenery of mint type of opening
    Mysterious, fruity, and magically smoky , in Russian Tea Julien Rasquinet mingles crispy wild berries , with smoky wood, dark black tea , and frankincense. The result is magical, one of a kind tea fragrance , and my favorite Masque Milano.
    The good thing is in the 2023 Oud sequel there’s nothing overwhelming in, the fragrance is harmonious with the right amounts of leather, green notes and magical Cambodian LMR fruity Oud. Bottle is so gorgeous
    I’m eager to try not just Masque Milano Russian Tea Oud but all fragrances from the Ruby and Emerald lines.

    Ermano Picco and Redolessence enthusiastic takes on the fragrance are impressive, job well done. I can’t imagine the impact Russian Tea had on the market back in 2014 , I like how the owners of Masque Milano gave Julien Rasquinet a platform to create a very special dark tea fragrance with raspberries, not carrying at all about what’s popular on the market.
    I’m exposed to niche perfumery, but only partially to Masque Milano, own Tango and I’ve smelled Times Square.
    Other than the black tea I also find Russian Tea Oud delightful for the mint and raspberry jam on one part , and the premium leather and LMR oud on the other. Various ingredients i like assorted to the greater extent by Julien Rasquinet
    Other than wanting to win Russian Tea Oud I’d also love to have a conversation with Julien Rasquinet, and maybe drink some tea together

    Julien Rasquinet , Ermano Picco and Redolessence share affection for art , craftsmanship and believe a fragrance need to not only smell great, but to be different and not influenced by other successful brands. It’s safe to say Russian Tea Oud is piece of art elegant fragrance inspired by the Russian tea ceremony , I can’t stop thinking about the tea poured in a cup , a spoon of raspberry jam , mint , and all natural Cambodian LMR oud.
    Ermano and Redolessence work was like a poetic invitation to a tea party

    Russian Tea to me smells like I’m eating Freshly baked Traybake Cake with Raspberries , drinking steaming Yunnan Black Tea with cinnamon , while sitting on a leather sofa. My favorite Masque Milano fragrance , together with Tango and Lost Alice.
    I find surprising how Ermano’s take on Russian Tea Oud is pretty much the way Russian Tea smells to me , with the addition of the fruity Cambodian LMR oud. Steven’s take on the fragrance in contrary is quite different, the darkness and the spices are way more prominent , and the the jammy sweetness is not just toned down, but not there at all.
    I respect both Ermano and Steven very much but I genuinely hope the raspberries i love so much in Russian Tea will be easy to detect in the Oud edition too , basically rooting for Ermano’s take on the fragrance 😉

    Ermano’s introduction was great. I am a fan if darker versions of light fragrances. Steven’s video gave me a clear picture. Saffron/oud with the note if tea still present is what I love about this fragrance because I am a fan of both notes. The mix seems to be done well making the original darker for people like me that prefer denserr versions.

    Considering how knowledgeable Ermano Picco and Redolessence are I’m not surprised by their enthusiasm for Masque Milano Russian Tea Oud , on contrary I’m quite surprised by the two diverse opinions of the fragrance.
    I love tea and tea fragrances, and in my opinion there are a lot of good tea fragrances on the market right now, but creating not just great but also unique tea perfume is something major.
    I’d like to share my two favorite part of the thoughtful review
    “The breathtaking beauty of Cambodian Oud LMR chosen by Julien, here replaces the herbal quality of tea unfolding an opulent tapestry of nuances starting from the peppery animalcy boosting the luminous greenery of mint”
    Ermano Picco
    and
    “the tea that is in here is a really nice escentric compliment to those darker facets”

    Love, love and love again. It’s remarkable that Julien Rasquinet was thinking outside of the box in 2014 with Russian Tea, and found the balance between wearability and originality with Russian Tea Oud in 2023.
    Like everything in real life some components of Russian Tea Oud are gentle like the mint , some delicious like the raspberry jam feel, others relaxing like the black tea and let’s not forget the daring oud and leather . The balance between the sweetness , LMR Cambodian oud , spices and leather I’m looking for the most.

    Even though I just recently started delving into niche perfumery with just 8 bottles in my possession I’ve smelled one Masque Milano fragrance L’Attesa , sophisticated iris fragrance .
    The aromatic and fruity parts of Russian Tea Oud are easy to detect according to Ermano Picco , not at all according to Redolessence , the fact intrigued me a lot.
    In my view Russian Tea Oud is a different but pleasing tea fragrance, still just a bit jammy sweet but no where near sugary, with fruity LMR Oud appeal, leather and powerful spices.
    No matter what kind of fragrances you like no one would deny Julien Rasquinet affinity for craftsmanship

    Ermano Picco read and Redolessence video are both vivid and full of positive energy . Despite some differences in their thoughts on Masque Milano Russian Tea Oud i imagined an exquisite fragrance , mental getaway to Russian tea ritual with smoky black tea, raspberry jam, leather and cardamom , what a journey i had with the help of the two Cafleurebon contributors.

    Such a battle Royal between two experienced fragrance Grandmaster (GM) , I enjoyed it a lot .
    Ermano Picco was playing with the White pieces today moving all the pieces with ease and leaning on the black tea wit raspberry jam, Cambodian LMR Oud, fresh mint and a nod to the Russian leather . Redolessence was playing with the Black pieces leaning more on the spices ,the darkness and a bit of smoke , and them comes the black tea.
    The game ended with a draw 🙂
    Julien Rasquinet made Russian Tea Oud so addictive and tranquil , absolutely I’d like to win a bottle

    Masque Milano Russian Tea Oud fragrance story Ermano the Steven told us , turned back time for me to the late 2014 early 2015 Winter when I immediately bought Russian Tea just a few minutes after the first spray.
    Russian Tea is so special, the leather, mint and tea are staples, I also really like the addition of the juicy berries , it’s a marvelous fragrance. Some would say it’s a bit bold , and I’d agree but at the same time it’s a compliment magnet.
    The extra premium LMR more fruity oud would give the Oud sequel some modern contemporary twist. I wonder if I spray the sequel on my skin I would feel the same way … thinking about those days ~ 10 years ago when I discovered Russian Tea, I believe so.
    Russian Tea and Tango are my favorite Masque Milano fragrances, I slightly prefer Tango. Both are staples for me

    The brand of Masque Milano i do know , the ultra talented Jerome Rasquinet i do too.
    One particular thing Redolessence said about tea fragrances starting at 4.25min of the YouTube video in general made me think about how I perceive tea scents. Unlike him I think all tea fragrances are serene , the more fresher or citrucy ones just as much as the darker and expressive ones like Russian Tea Oud , all are tranquil to me.
    It’s seems like Redolessence and Ermano Picco do have a lot of past memories with Russian Tea, and will keep forging new ones with the original fragrance and the new Oud variant.
    Cardamom , leather, red fruits and fruity oud like the LMR one used by Julien Rasquinet are favorites of mine, let alone how Ermano said the Russian Tea Oud possesses a mouthwatering voluptuousness , exquisite pleasure I’d love to win.
    The brand of Masque Milano i strongly associate with a fragrance by the name of Tango

    All fragrances can tell a story, some are passionate, some are more wild and others serene.
    I think in Masque Milano Russian Tea Oud there’s no passionate or wild parts , and everything is leading to relaxation, good memories and smiles.
    Like Ermano PiccoI find the blend of variety ofspices , black tea, incense and raspberry jam mouthwatering. The upscale LMR oud with fruity appeal is very much is welcomed too .

    Just by reading the article and watching the video I visualized the moments when Ermano Picco and Redolessence were able to try Masque Milano Russian Tea Oud on skin for the first time . Two delightful experiences with two different perspectives.
    I’m used to more easy going tea fragrances and Russian Tea Oud is nothing like I’ve smelled before , there’s black tea, oud from Cambodia, slightly incense like and spicy but the raspberry jam is the stabilizing aspect I have high hopes for, kudos to Julien Rasquinet for the idea.

    I believe that if I speak with them face to face I’d feel enclosed with never ending passion , but also with modesty and respect simultaneously.
    I know L’Atessa very well but i also wish I knew Russian Tea so I can match it with the much awaited by Ermano Oud sequel. Nevertheless I’m anxious to find out how the fragrance smell to me , more fruity-sweet and minty with oud like it smells to Ermano , or more dark and mysterious like it smells to Redolessence. Nowhere near gourmand , still it sounds really yummy .

    After I read Ermano Picco written review, and watched Redolessence YouTube video i know for certain Julien Rasquinet and Masque Milano set the bar high for a tea fragrance.
    With the fearsome competitiveness on the market it’s not only about how a fragrance smells, i need longevity, nice presentation, originality and in general something to really grab my attention long term .
    Masque Milano Russian Tea Oud high quality raw materials like Cambodian Oud by LRM, raspberry jam melding with the leather and the spices did the trick for me.

Should I start with Ermano luminous greenery and mouthwatering voluptuousness info based on the mint and raspberry jam, both not available in Redolessence description , or maybe the emotional connection between him and more fruity ouds like Cambodian LMR Oud , or maybe the avalanche of spices and a touch of smoke according to Redolessence, all are equally as important for the forming of Russian Tea Oud identity , intricate black tea fragrance like no other.
    With his creation Julien Rasquinet showed up the true colors of niche perfumery
