The ART AND OLFACTION AWARDS 2024 FINALISTS

Art and Olfaction awards 2024 Finalists

The Art and Olfaction Awards 2024 will be held in Lisbon

In 2013, the Institute of Art and Olfaction was founded in Los Angeles, led by Saskia Wilson-Brown as Director. Her experience in film-making and consulting with filmmakers – an equally creative métier – makes her an asset.  She took a suggestion to create a blind competition for independent and artisan fragrances in which transparency is key and politics are absent.

Launched in 2014, the Art and Olfaction Awards continue to set a new standard in the fragrance world, one of excellence in independent, artisan and experimental perfumery. The awards represent a diverse range of styles and techniques, honoring creators from various backgrounds, geographical locations, and perspectives. 2024 is the 10th edition.

  • Fabulous rundown of the event! ❤️ I’m SO excited to see two of my favorite perfumers in the running: Amber Jobin and Diane St. Claire! Love the IAO and these wonderful awards supporting artisan and independent perfumery! What a perfect partnership with ÇaFleureBon! ❤️

  • Oooh so many to try and some I already love!! Call Me is an absolute favorite of mine and Irida Extrait is just so amazing. I didn’t realize Amnesia Rose is such a recent release. I love the house and I definitely had to have that one after trying it in the discovery set along with a few others from Aedes des Venustas. Im excited to see who comes up for the Aftel and Piesse awards… and the newcomer. Exciting! Perfume making is still so vibrant, don’t let folks tell you it’s not! Congratulations to all the finalists!! So well deserved!!

  • Would love to see reviews of the three Les Abstraits perfumes on here soon! I have sampled them and thought they were great. I especially love Belle Ame, it very much is my type of scent and is beautiful, as they all are. Thanks! Good luck to the nominees!
