I first met Map of the Heart Founders and Creative Directors Sarah Blair and Jeffrey Darling at Esxence in 2015. In 2014, the Australian film producers, writers and designers focused their talents and artistic vision on perfume. In collaboration with a dream team: Givaudan master perfumer Jacques Huclier (the nose behind many of MUGLER fragrances including A*Men in 1996, and the top notch flankers including A*Men Pure Havane) and the renowned Perfumed Plume award winning flacon designer Pierre Dinand (YSL Opium among many others) they created a series that navigates a fragrant topography of human emotions, textures and feelings. Map of The Heart Red Heart V.3 is the third in the series and although the brand is not new it might be to some of our readers and viewers.
