Most if not all of the department stores have redesigned their Beauty and Fragrance floors and, in the case of Saks Fifth Avenue, moved it to another floor and offers more of a niche experience to those perfume shopping in New York City. Neiman Marcus along with The Shops and Restaurants at Hudson Yards, New York’s newest neighborhood which includes a number of fragrant retail choices opened their doors. Elizabeth Street continues its reign as the most scented block by expanding its fragrance offerings with the new Scent Bar annex from Los Angeles, NEST, and Claus Porto. And, two blocks over on Mulberry Street, Brooklyn’s D.S. & Durga’s much-anticipated storefront landed. And, Ulta arrived with much fanfare to New York City. A second store is scheduled to open in Herald Square for 2020. Ok, let’s go Perfume Shopping in New York City! We promise it will be much easier to have this guide next time you are in town, from Aedes to Zitomer.
